Appalling. Speechless. Bewildered. Angry. Scared. Is what we felt, all within a one minute conversation with Dr. Braiteh.

My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July 2022. His gastroenterologist sent over an URGENT referral to Dr. Braiteh's office. No one called us to schedule so I called. Everyday. I even drove over to the office to try and get my husband on the schedule. I begged and pleaded, but to no avail. I was told that my husband's file was on the doctor's desk and when he had a chance to review it, we could schedule an appointment. Cancer doesn't wait.

We FINALLY get an appointment two weeks later and sit in the waiting room for over an hour. There's a sign in the office that says "if you're waiting more than 15 minutes, let us know". I did, several times. Each time, the girls at the front desk stated "there's one patient ahead of you". For over an hour??

They finally put us in a room where we wait for another hour (now at the two hour mark and still being told there's one patient ahead of us). The office manager comes in and tells us that they just got a new computer system and they don't know what they're doing and she doesn't know where the doctor is. This is not comforting. My husband is in pain and we make the decision to leave. The office manager asks us to please stay and runs off. She comes back and says the doctor is looking over our file now. NOW?! It's been sitting on his desk for two weeks or so we were told. We wait another 20 minutes and start to leave when the doctor comes around the corner with the office manager. He's angry WITH US because we were tired of waiting and starts talking to us in a very condescending, non compassionate tone. He tells us he was doing our gastroenterologist a FAVOR by seeing us. I have never, in my life, experienced a doctor like this. At a time when we needed reassurance, compassion, understanding, a game plan, we received none. Doctor's are sworn in by the hippocratic oath - do no harm. It is a principle of medical ethics. Dr. Braiteh has no medical ethic or human compassion.

I highly suggest seeking another oncologist that can service all your needs from medical treatment to compassion and understanding. It's imperative, when receiving a devastating cancer diagnosis. Cancer doesn't wait.

Update: In response to your response - I'm not surprised that you couldn't find my husband's file. The practice is disorganized. My husband never officially became a patient of Dr. Braiteh because we walked out after such a terrible first office visit. I did call to speak with the manager but she never called back. It's all water under the bridge at this point. My husband has passed away. I just really hope that future patients of this doctor read my review and look elsewhere. I would suggest a cancer research facility such as MD Anderson or Moffitt.

Bottom line. The man saved my mothers life. I am my mother advocate and have been since day one. She had stage 4. Colo rectal, mets to the liver. 3 tumors and the outlook was dim. Mind you this was after Dr. Hyo-Jong Park, MD,her original oncologist in Las Vegas said to me, "Oh, she wont die in 2 years". CAN YOU BELIEVE Dr. Hyo-Jong Park, MD !?!?!?! Dr Braiteh was the 2nd opinion and so grateful to have found him.

She is now 7 years in remission. As of 9/2/2017 100% clean PET scan This man was placed on this earth to do what he does so well. Let me assure you that if there is a negative rating on this site in regards to him, there is something more to the story. Period.

My mother and I will forever be indebted to this man and I get emotional whenever i rekindle the story as again, my mother should not be alive today. It is because of Dr. Fadi Braiteh she is alive. Dont listen to the negative hype review here.

Dr Braiteh is a complete professional and current on what I needed to maximize my advanced cancer outcome. He does everything needed to help his patients. Loved my 1st visit with Dr. Braitah. Dr. Braitah is educated, engaging and personable. He was recommended by my surgeon as the best for my disease. I had exceptional good news, so I can't speak for how the visit would have been different if I was delivered bad news. This was my visit to a Cancer center where you can view the Chemo lounge-, a very sober experience indeed.

I'm still here. 2024. I'm not quite what you would call a cancer survivor. I never had it, having precancerous testing and removal of anything questionable over the years. And I have Dr. Braiteh, and these other awesome physicians (who are no longer with us so many decades later) to thank. What amazing physicians. There is hope and definitely a way to stay ahead of the cancer curve. My very best to all of you who have faced this stress in your lives.

I lost my mother to breast cancer in 1993. That was my motivation to establish a base line of testing at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of NV on Eastern. The other physicians that helped me since 1993 were Dr. Quagliana, Dr. Rojas. Over a period of decades I maintained great skin care, removed any sun damage, and made sure I took care of myself, had semi-regular followups with upper lower MRI's, bone scans, blood tests to check for cancer markers. With this approach, I was able to head off any serious problems and had more than one precancerous operation that kept me healthy and well. I am disclosing this to set the basis for my next comment.

I know about cancer treatment, and have seen the way a number of physicians work, because I want to live a long healthy life.

Dr. Braiteh may quite possibly be one of the most brilliant physicians I've seen. Great energy, positive outlook, and just remarkable intellect. I had a baseline bloodwork done in 2012 checking for a blood marker, ordered by Dr. Braiteh, to be sure I didn't have any precursors to cancer at the time. It's time for my next appointment. I'm still healthy and I want to keep it that way. Thank you so much for everything.

I am blessed to be under the care of Dr Braiteh.
I received my non-small cell lung cancer diagnosis almost 3 months ago. I was under the care of another Oncologist prior to Dr Braiteh and I was feeling like there was no sense of urgency with treating my cancer. I did some research and found Dr Braiteh and I couldn?t be happier. I finally feel like there is hope in treating this disease. Lucy and Crystal in the office were so helpful getting me set up with an appointment quickly and I really appreciate that. Dr. Braiteh was my brother Marc’s oncologist for Esophageal Cancer. Most patients live about six months - but Dr. Braiteh promised Marc that he would keep him alive as long as Marc could live a good quality of life. Marc lived 18 months, and I am deeply grateful. I was referred to Dr. Braiteh by my G.I. Doctor for Pancreatic Cancer treatment.

Let me start by say that i am 65 year old man and have been dealing with many different doctors over the last 20 years for problems i had from my cardiac and Bi-Pass surgery. I have Never met a Doctor with a worse “Bed Side Manor” and Condescending attitude than
Dr Braiteh! He has no business speaking or dealing with patients directly. While you wait to see him in his exam room, he walks in never asks you how you are feeling, no eye contact. Goes directly to his computer sits there and stares at it the whole time while he is speaking to you!
He tells you how he intends to treat you, but does not like it if you interrupt to ask a question! If you do get a question in, you can expect a sarcastic answer with a dose of attitude! I asked a question about my treatment and was asked by him if
“I was trying to reinvent medicine”

He does know the science and the medications but he should be in a Lab or a research position talking to his computer screen, and NOT dealing with patients who are dealing with end of life situations! Absolutely no compassion what so ever.

He is without a doubt the Worst Doctor I have ever seen, and the lack of answers from him and his Staff delayed the start of my Chemo

He would only talk about the one treatment He wanted me to be on, never discussed other options Of which there were several! I had to find that out from other doctors I went to for second opinion. Which took valuable time away from treatment while i wet for second opinions.

If you are referred to Dr. Braiteh I strongly recommend that you find another Oncologist!

My dad is his patient and his appointments were all rushed and felt so impersonal. After taking all the blood tests, there was no explanation about the results and anytime he tried to ask for clarification, he would get cut off. He acted entitled, like his time was more valuable than ours. Rather than spending time to explain procedures, he referred my dad to online videos for help. It’s really disheartening to see my dad go through this process.

My daughter is his patient...I tagged along [patient's mom] @ my daughter's request...Dr.Braiteh was cold and irritated when my daughter asked him a question about test results...he stated...YOU want me to read your entire lab report and was annoyed that my daughter asked him a question.
Then I also asked a question...he looked my daughter in her face and stated.....WHO IS THIS WOMAN.....My daughter replied...this is my mom..

I think dr. B is the bomb he's a very good doctor he knows what hes doing. he may not spend alot of time talking he spends his time doing he's taken very good care of me he doesn't like to waste time he always working on and for your best interest. One of the worst and most impersonal doctors I've ever had to experience. He never felt like he cared about any patient, including my dad, despite almost always dealing with people's lives. He would constantly rush our conversations and leave us worried, with little to no information on how my dad was doing. Don't recommend at all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Braiteh's for almost 5 years, I also have stage 4 cancer. I feel if I was treated by another physician I would not be here today, he has tried various treatments to keep me as comfortable as possible while controlling the cancer. I have spoke to many of the chemo nurses and other staff, they have all said if they had cancer they would go to Dr. Braiteh.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Braiteh for over a year now. We drive an hour to see him every other week and consistently see him for less than five minutes. Typically, on a routine visit, this is "tolerable". But my husband is dying from stage IV cancer and, after receiving some particularly worrisome blood and urine results, we were scared. To say the least. We had questions. Concerns. Thoughts.
We brought in all of the results so we wouldn't forget any of the things we wanted to touch base on.
But the moment we tried to ask anything or interject with the simplest of thoughts, we were cut off. We were hurried along and told, "I am telling you it is fine" without any further explanations. When we asked what a certain number meant or why it was so far out of range, we were again told, "it's fine". He told us at one point that the questions we were asking were for another doctor. He said, "would you go to your general practitioner and ask them a gynecology question? No." Never were we told what anything meant or given a chance to even fully get a question out.
I was terrified for my husband and quite dissatisfied. So I began to tell Dr. Braiteh that while I so greatly appreciate any information he gives us, I often feel that our concerns are a nuisance. I feel rushed and unimportant. I mentioned that we are not doctors. We may ask stupid or obvious questions. We may ask questions meant for other doctors. But we don't know those things. We ask because we're worried. Because we need you to teach us these things and take the time to go through anything we might feel a need to discuss.
And before I could say anything else, he had stood up and declared that if we were so unhappy, why doesn't he just get us a new doctor.
We said wait, no. We only wanted to address concerns and speak to one another about them.
But he proceeded to say that he was getting a charge nurse and left the room.
We followed him into the Hall, where he turned and stated loudly, "I did not tell you that you could leave the room."
After telling him we wanted only to speak calmly with him, he followed us back into the room with the charge nurse and began to tell her that we were aggressive and "complaining about everything" and needed to see a new doctor. Each time that we tried to say a single word, he spoke over the top of us. At one point we told him that he has never once given us more than five minutes time and he shouted back, "It's Monday and I have a lot of people to see." When we asked who we could speak to about how he was treating us he told us "No one. I am my own boss."
The ordeal ended with him storming out of the room.

My husband and I have never been treated this way in our lives. Never have we witnessed such inappropriate behavior. In a scenario where all we wanted was a bit of reassurance that our oncologist cared that my husband was dying and we were scared, all he could offer was beratement and a refusal to treat my husband any longer.

This dr.is over rated big time!!!Allmost killed me ! 2 times he made mistakes! I said time to go! He knew my whole list of herbs that I took!! One matter of fact he did research on at md.anderson!! That fights cancer!listen I got a medical degree in respiratory it doesn't take a research scientist to know there are other resources for cancer!!! I have have 4 surgeries and 2 types of cancer before the age of 55yrs old I am 60 today and still alive !! With out have chemo or radiation!!! Ask these oncologist would the do chemo? I guarantee no way hosea! I dont know one person alive that had chemo and radiation that is cured ..by this type of treatment!!! My friends are all dead !! From listening to these oncologist!!! I go to an oncologist to be checked every 4 months!! Be through 7 oncologist in this town....the best one yet is dr.ho!!! Her father was a herbalist in china,!!
