Dr. Gastwirth is an amazing cardiologist and is understanding and does not rush you out the door like most doctors do. Happy to have her as my cardiologist since 2015

MADE AN APPOINTMENT 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE THAT MY APPOINTMENT CAN NOT BE KEPT LAST MINUTE ALL THE WHILE MY FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT IS 2 DAYS LATER TO GO OVER RESULTS OF SAID ULTRASOUND... I WAS TOLD THEY ONLY HAVE ONE PERSON DOING THE ULTRASOUNDS THAT DAY...
I HAVE TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE BUT THEY CAN SAY "THE HECK WITH YOUR APPOINTMENT WITHOUT CALLING ME PERSONALLY (JUST TEXTING) AND NOT ABLE TO TEXT BACK... THIS TRULY MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THEY JUST SAY TO HELL WITH MEDICARE PATIENTS AND TAKE THE BIG INSURANCE COMPANIES SINCE THEY GET A BIGGER PIECE OF THE PIE... THE RECEPTIONIST MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THEY DO NOT CARE NOR DO THEY HAVE TIME TO TAKE TO FIX ANYTHING... GOING ELSEWHERE IS NOT WHAT I WANTED TO DO BUT I MADE SURE MY WORK SCHEDULE WAS OPEN FOR THESE APPOINTMENTS 6 MONTHS AGO AND NOW I LOST THE APPOINTMENTS AND 2 DAYS PAY... THANKS FOR NOTHING TO THE ONE PLACE THAT STATES THEY ONLY HAVE ONE TECHNICIAN AND NO ALTERNATES OR BACK-UPS (YEA- RIGHT)...

I have been seeing Dr. Gaswirth for 6+ years. She is a pleasant and knowledgeable specialist. She has been treating me for several CV issues. I highly recommend Dr. Gaswirth if you are seeking a knowledgeable and thorough cardiologist and a peasant and caring physician.

Dr. Gartwirth is competent but she's has too many patients. Live in a small town & traveled like 300 miles to see her based on reviews.
Her typical time with me was less than 5 mins(saw her 4 times)

Had an emergency & literally could not contact her during business hours.
Her phone number would literally go to a as I recall a 'Century Link@' automated answering service.

Also her firm uses antiquated equipment for echocardiograms& Holter
monitor. Waste of money doing tests

Strongly suggest folks find someone else. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Dr Vanessa Gastwirth is a GREAT, WONDERFUL Doctor. From the very first time I met her I felt so relieved to finally find a doctor who listens to your concerns, does Not rush you out the door & who truly cares. I just want to say 'Thank you' Dr. Gastwirth... I have been to EVERY specialist in Las Vegas, and she is by far the best!! We need more doctors just like her... I highly recommend Dr. Gastwirth for anyone who may need a cardiologist :)
