The fact that it took this provider an entire year to acknowledge my concerns is deeply concerning. Furthermore, stating that I do not know how to read an EOB is inappropriate and inaccurate, especially since I work closely with the insurance representative at my workplace, who confirmed that this claim was paid.

The primary concern, however, is that the provider billed my insurance for a cavity that I do not have. Rather than addressing or acknowledging this discrepancy, the provider has continued to deny that this occurred.

My concern is not a misunderstanding of the EOB. It is the accuracy of the services that were billed to my insurance and the lack of accountability in addressing the discrepancy.

I visited this dental office in April 2023 after moving to the area and being referred by a friend. Initially, the service seemed fine—until the dentist informed me that I had a cavity and needed to return for treatment. This was surprising, as I’ve never had a cavity before. Trusting my instincts, I returned to my previous dentist for a second opinion, who confirmed that I did not have a cavity.
Because of this discrepancy, I chose not to return to this office and continued care with my trusted dentist.
However, a new concern arose this week when I received an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing a Pre-Treatment Estimate charge submitted by this dental office—without my knowledge or consent. When I called to ask about it, the receptionist told me they billed my insurance preemptively and were planning to call me later to ask if I wanted the services. I made it clear I had not authorized any such billing and would not be returning. She became defensive, claiming she had “been doing this for 23 years.” I then contacted my insurance provider, who confirmed that they should not have submitted any charges without my approval.
This experience has been disappointing and raises serious concerns about honesty and billing ethics. I strongly recommend checking all insurance claims carefully and getting a second opinion if this office diagnoses you with any issues—especially cavities. It's unfortunate to encounter this kind of behavior from a healthcare professional.

Have been meaning to update this review. I have since moved on from this business for some time now. Was good at first but the problems came later...we were contacted by someone who allegedly does billing for them and apparently after doing an audit we owed them money for services that for all intents and purposes was communicated to us as paid every time I checked out of my appointment. We tried to fight this but in the end we just ended up paying it as we didnt to go to collections or anything like that. The staff was always always nice and friendly but I guess their back end isn't strong and honestly felt quite shady. Go somewhere else.

I been to Doctor Diane office a few times..very polite and honest..I have no problems with her or past office manager Tracy..I received an email from Elva G..advising me of a past due bill from 2023..I called her and ask why sent out so late..I never got it..said she is reviewing and they have up to 7 years to send out bills..? I reach out to my dental ins..told them I received the explanation inv that is not a bill from them they told me it's the dental office afterwards to mail out to me..I also explained I never got that bill..I always pay or make payments..I then called back to Elva that I will make some type of payments after the 15th..while waiting for my payday I found out abt NV law..bill must be sent out by 90 days after service..when I called Elva and mention to her..omg..she was very argumental with me kept interrupting me..I advise I'm the customer and let me please talk..I ask to speak with Tracy she told me she dont work there..I ask to speak with someone else..she put me on hold came back said ok..then hung up on me..I called her back said I didn't her you..said I got the bill and I ignore to pay..that is not true and your very unprofessional right now and developed poor cust serv..hope this call was recorded

Before today, I hadn’t been to the dentist in what I’m guessing is about 10 years as I truly don’t have an exact date.

I’ve been scared of what returning might cause me to confront, and although there is work to be done, I never once felt judged or criticized for the care that I need.

Instead I was met with quick processing, kind faces, supportive care, and a very well educated team.

I feel very thankful to have a place where I can feel comfortable and safe!!

I was a long time patient of this practice. I liked Dr. D. And her staff was great. Then she got a new office manager that out of nowhere said I owed $1000.00 after not being there for 2 years. They never gave me a bill. Basically. If I never called. I would’ve never owed. And then threatened to take me to collections. I was able to negotiate for half. But after that. I would never trust this place ever again. Do not go here. You might get ripped off

I was a long-term patient of Dr. D for 15 years while living in Vegas. 15 months ago, I moved away and happened to be back in town visiting. I developed a sudden toothache, and she was my first call. She worked me in immediately, talked through treatment options, set me up with what I needed for the next 20 days on the road, and checked in with me later that day. She's the best dentist (nice, caring, informative, patient, attentive, etc.) ever!

After having really bad experiences with different dentists years ago, I picked the closest dentist to my house covered by insurance, figuring all the dentists out here were terrible. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service and caring staff here, and have now been a patient for over a decade since they were at the old location. I now live on the completely opposite side of town 45 minutes away, and still do not plan to switch dentists just for convenience. I tell everyone who needs a good dentist to come here, and now my entire family goes here as well. I cannot say enough how awesome these guys are!

Dr.Tolentino and her staff are absolutely wonderful! The office is beautifully decorated and has relaxing energy. Perfect for someone nervous about dental work as myself. I was quickly seen and evaluated. I had to be referred for surgery and the doctor she sent me to was fantastic! I will continue seeing Dr. Tolentino for routine cleanings and check ups. I would definitely recommend her practice to anyone looking for great service. It’s a far drive for me, but def worth the trip!

Ive been going to Dr D for 7 years and have no plans of ever going to anyone else. I always feel like everyone in the office is a family and I am part of that family. Dr Diana is gentle and nurturing in her approach to oral hygiene. I feel as if she authentically cares about her patients. That feeling goes beyond Dr. D, though.
