This is by far the best dental office I've ever been to. Christopher at the front desk is amazing and helps us figure out affordable payment plans. Janelle (I think that's her name) at the front desk is fantastic too. I had a great experience at El Dorado Modern Dentistry from start to finish. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming and made the entire process easy. Jennifer, my dental assistant, was amazing and really made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. It was my first time ever getting numbed, so I was a little unsure of what to expect, but she made the experience much easier than I anticipated. My husband has been coming to El Dorado Modern Dentistry for a few years now, and one of the main reasons we chose to make them his primary dental office was because of Christopher! Initially, we met Christopher because our youngest daughter needed to see her endodontist, who moves around to different offices. One of her visits brought us here. Christopher has always been extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. My husband and I truly enjoy coming in for his appointments as we feel very welcome and know that we will be taken great care of!
My husband sees Dr. Yeam. We love her! She is very sweet and gentle and we always feel confident that she will provide my husband with the best care. She explains everything in detail and we know that if she is recommending something, that it is because she has my husband’s best interest in mind.
We generally see Arely as our dental assistant. She is the Lead Dental Assistant and we can absolutely see why! She does a wonderful job taking care of my husband. She is also very gentle with a wonderful bedside manner. Arely is always a ray of sunshine for our visit! We really enjoy chatting with her and laughing together, she truly is a sweetheart.
In short, we would highly recommend El Dorado Modern Dentistry because of all of the wonderful people that work here!

Front off and staff was cool and nice I was reffered to this place by a friend that has the same exact issue as me. My crown came off it was a emergency my birthday was in the next couple days so I said I’ll give it a try once dentist came it she said ok this is what I want to do drill out short post put new long post I told her I just need something temp this has happened before Im wait to do implant I said can you do it like my dentist has done build it up and cement it back on just temporary she said no I don’t feel comfortable you might swollen it I’m like I’ve had this done before I’m not a baby it last a couple months I understand she like no you can go back to them which she new I wanted it done now so she wouldnt do it she wanted me to pay which she said I’ve never done it before she wanted to practice on my mouth and she wasn’t sure she could do it, which told me she new to the game. She worried about me swallowing the tooth rather than taking a chance and putting it back in the way I asked which remind you she did it for my friend after telling her over and over it’s ok I’ll see my doctor soon.

Where do I start!? $59 new client special, hold up!? ON A SUNDAY! Yeah, no need to lose money taking work off, schedule your dentist appointment for a Sunday! I hadn't seen a dentist for quite some time and the staff here made it SO EASY! Went in on a Sunday, they did all my xrays and gave me a run through of my issues with options going forward. Staff was out of this world excellent from the front desk to the Dr.

I have to say, everybody dreads the dentist, but I went back today for 5 fillings and a deep cleaning and the team here were top notch!

Extremely Disappointing Experience — High-Pressure Sales Over Patient Care

I’m giving one star only because it’s required to submit a review. The front-office staff and X-ray technician were pleasant, but the dental experience was disappointing. My former spouse went for a routine exam and cleaning, but it felt like a high-pressure sales pitch for expensive periodontal treatment instead. The health questionnaire was extensive, and the clinical documentation misrepresented his dental health, leading to a $4,000 treatment plan with $900 out-of-pocket costs. We felt his time and resources were not respected and are seeking a second opinion. Prospective patients should research reviews, ask about insurance coverage, request treatment details in writing, and consider a second opinion before agreeing to costly treatments. We would not recommend this office for straightforward, patient-centered care.

I’ve never had a dentist recommend so much unnecessary work. They were trying to get me to do like 2 grand worth of work for gum degeneration that insurance wouldn’t have covered. I denied most of it but my insurance was still billed over $2400. Three $305 and two $145 charges for scaling and root planning? Pretty sure they just measured my gum lines. Had to pay over $200 out of pocket. Seems like they try to milk their patients for all they can. My new dentist didn’t recommend any of that stuff and my teeth and gums are fine. I’m still getting letters from my insurance 2 years later saying my insurance may not cover portions of my bill. Not sure why. They probably realized they were over charged

I was referred to this office for a tooth extraction with Dr. Leftwich, everything went smoothly and was a great experience. When getting another referral for additional work, I requested this office since everything went so well on my first visit. Everything went fantastic on this visit too. Mercedes scheduled me in right away. I was shocked they could accomplish everything I needed done in just one visit. Everyone in the office was friendly and efficient. The technician taking XRAYs did a fantastic job. And I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Yeam and her assistant, so thorough. She reviewed my XRAYS and explained everything in detail. I was in the dental chair about 4 hours and felt comfortable the whole time. I loved walking out with new crowns completed and no temporaries. Dr. Yeam also filled a tooth and made adjustment for my bite. She has a plan in place for some further work to be accomplished. I highly recommend this office, they will take good care of you.

Updating my review for the worse unfortunately as my experience and relationship with this business has changed drastically. Nothing on the dentist, she was great, all having to do with the front desk man. Warning, need to vent in this review so gonna be a little long. I am a busy dad, I have a lot going on, as many of us do, so naturally if I schedule an appointment for anything (including the dentist) but it turns out I cannot make that appointment, I will cancel that appointment within the businesses guidelines which I have several times, as I have the right to. Okay so fast forward to my most recent call to the dentist to schedule my next appointment, I was greeted by a man who sounded like I was bothering him calling. First strike. I let it go in the moment and proceeding to ask for my preferred appointment date and time. The front desk man then goes on to say that I've cancelled the last few appointments I've made..just dead pan, didn't lead the conversation further on that point. No "..but we're excited that you're calling back.." .. or "...looking forward to seeing you again.." ... just "..uh so I've seen you've cancelled your last few appointments.."..like is this supposed to make me feel good about being a return customer? Second strike. Lastly, we talked about confirming insurance as I recently had mine updated. He asked for my group number or whatever and it wasn't clear if he was able to confirm that is what they needed on their side, he just said "well i'll try it, if it doesn't work we'll call you back" (I called a couple days after as I got updated info about my insurance and was greeted by the same man who said "oh we called them and we're good"..would have been better to call me and let me know its all good, takes like 2 minutes.) Third strike. At this point seriously considering finding a new dentist all together. Its so interesting that the front desk person, not even the dentist can change your whole perspective. Rant nearly done. Word of advice to the business: either have your people fix their attitude at the front desk or just be more wary of who you put on the front line..they will determine if you have repeat customers or not. End of rant.

Approximately 1–2 months later, the filling failed because the damage to the tooth was more extensive than originally addressed. Dr. Yeam later showed me a previous X-ray that clearly indicated there was a deeper issue. This left me feeling that the proper treatment may not have been recommended from the beginning.

I was then referred to an endodontist to determine whether a root canal was necessary. After being advised that I did not need a root canal, I attempted to contact the Henderson office several times to schedule a follow-up appointment. Unfortunately, despite leaving multiple messages, it took nearly two weeks before I was finally able to reach someone.

Once I spoke with the office, I was quoted approximately $2,100 for treatment. I ultimately sought a second opinion from another dentist, who was able to provide me with a crown for $649, and I was very satisfied with both the treatment and overall experience.

Additionally, I was charged a no-show fee for my daughter despite never signing any documentation agreeing to that policy on her behalf.

Overall, my experience was disappointing due to the communication issues, pricing concerns, and billing practices. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office.

I really appreciate how I can make the appointment online and complete the patient intake form before the appointment. Dr. Yeam and her staff were very friendly and attentive. The facility is very clean and there are refreshments while you wait. I was informed of all the procedures they recommended and told me the price after insurance. They confirmed with me before starting the procedures and was able to get it done that day. Dr. Yeam was very gentle and would recommend all my friends here.

My dad had a very concerning experience with Dr. Nathan Kingery. What should have been a routine dental procedure turned into something much more serious.

After receiving anesthesia for fillings, it appears the injection may have hit a blood vessel, resulting in significant bruising and a hematoma. Since then, he has been dealing with persistent and worsening pain for the past 10 days. The discomfort has spread up toward his temple and head, and it has severely impacted his daily life.

He is unable to open his mouth properly, which makes eating and even basic oral hygiene like brushing his teeth extremely difficult. The pain is intense enough to interfere with sleep, adding to the overall distress of the situation.

What’s most concerning is that this feels like a careless mistake rather than an unavoidable complication. Given that he also has underlying heart issues, the presence of a hematoma is especially alarming and raises serious concerns about his safety and the quality of care provided.

Overall, this experience has been painful, stressful, and deeply disappointing.

When I first started going here I felt taken care. The dentist were great. However, over the next few years I did notice every appointment they would push a "deep cleaning" stating I had periodontal disease. This was a huge mistake. It cost me a lot of money to pay for this "Deep cleaning" as insurance does not cover it. They did not inform me once I had this "deep cleaning" that I could never go back to my normal free cleanings covered my insurance. I had to do these special cleanings every three months that cost $200-300. This was suspicious to me so I went to a dentist I trust. I was told I did not have periodontal disease and this statement of my insurance refusing to cover my normal cleanings is not true. This office is part of a big dental corporation which pushes certain treatments to make more money. BEWARE. Always get a second opinion. Beware of places with "Modern" in their name as they are usually part of big corporations and it is all about money.

Good facility terrible communication. Went in November 2025 for an emergency visit for a broken tooth. It’s currently March 2026 I have yet to receive a call back from anyone there. I have called them at this point 6 times to follow up as I’m always told they will call me back because so and so is busy. Crickets. I was told it takes 30 days to get an approval it’s been 123 days and the only communication with them has been initiated by me calling for updates. My insurance replied through snail mail faster than they can return a phone call.

Chris, I believe is the office manager, is condescending, monotone, disinterested and antagonistic. I told him after his aggression towards me that I let him express himself so he just gets it out of his system so I can just address my dental issues. What I’m saying is Chris has an attitude so I have to work around his attitude to hopefully get my dental issues handled. The dentist I usually saw was respectful and seemed to do a good job. But, no dentist could make a proper night guard for me. I expressed politely that the guards they are making are too thin after the first one which was way too hard and didn’t fit thus was totally useless. I cracked 4 teeth after using the first poorly made night guard then they made one that was so thin it was totally useless. They never acknowledged that I need a thicker guard but not a rock hard guard. I brought in a previous guard that was made well but the doctor didn’t listen to me. I provided them with labs that made proper guards, no feedback. Chris was suppose to take my suggestions to the doctor and call me but he didn’t. When I called to address that the second guard was useless Chris just unleashed his omnipresent attitude. I was stuck paying for useless guards and dealing with an arrogant, couldn’t care less Chris. I paid for useless guards and cracked teeth! They should be reimbursing me!
I went to a new dentist and she created a perfect guard on the first try and it cost less than el dorado’s charge.
Chris, who will is unwilling to change, won’t adjust his poor and counterproductive attitude. I lost money and had to spend money to fix teeth that were damaged because the doctor’s couldn’t make anywhere close to a protective guard. Most people there are pleasant, except Chris. But, they don’t have a clue how to make guards, yet take money for a deficient product.

Had to come in for a double root canal (one on the left and one on the right). Saw Dr. Chow and not only does he have a great sense of humor but I promise I've never had a dentist so gentle. I didn't even feel the needles numbing me. I was fearful because my procedure was taking place just days before Thanksgiving (and I love to eat). Dr. Chow inserted 2 roots on my left side and 4 roots on my right. I took nothing more than a 500mg Tylenol (while still numb) and had no pains at night. I wouldn't recommend eating hard food for 24 hours but it's definitely not because of any pain just for precaution reasons.. THANKS DR. EDMOND CHOW!!!!

My son went into this office and all he wanted was and ask for was a cleaning. They not only didn't do the cleaning but they decided too do a number of other services that wasn't requested and after all was said & done the bill was $2,488.00. I think this is excessive considering he only asked for a cleaning. I called the office but the gentleman that i spoke with wanted to be more confrontational than helpful.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Yeam and her team during my appointment a few months ago. Hearing about the recommendations of her and her work immediately had me convinced that I'd be well taken care of. I'd flown out of Arizona to have my teeth treated, and would definitely revisit if I ever need any additional work done.
