Very efficient Office. I walked in 15 minutes before my appointment time and they had text me two reminders during the week to let me know about my appointment with the address. They also sent me the paperwork through text message and email when I was able to do it prior to getting to my appointment. When I walked in, they greeted me and I only had to wait less than five minutes to get brought back. I felt like my appointment went really well. I was able to talk about my concerns and I felt listened to and understood. I can’t wait to go back from my follow up.

Dr. Joseph is the absolute best. He’s kind, considerate and he listens to you and your concerns and helps you to address them. His goal is to make you feel better and he certainly does. He also works with you to try to get you off some of your meds as long as you’re doing OK. Which is a good thing. Take as little medication as possible and still feel your best. He is awesome. He is always available for a non scheduled appointment if needed. When he gives a prescription, he is also willing to fight for that prescription for you that Insurance denies. Which in my opinion is wonderful because insurance companies don't know what's best for you. Your doctor does. I'm very grateful to him for that. I'm going to repost this as it covers pretty much everything. He's an amazing doctor and I truly love being his patient.

I needed a referral for x-rays they sent it over with in a day. My meds Brittany did it right there on her laptop, she sent it to walmart and the next day it was ready. I'm so happy I found this clinic. I went for a psychiatrist to get my meds renewed after I moved here, but now I'm also seeing a counselor and PCP at this location. The providers and staff are very caring and helpful. I needed to get back in and Brittany was not available so I saw Dr. Torres-Quiala. He was wonderful. I was a little wary of a male doctor. I've found that I usually prefer women-they typically better at listening to me. He listened to everything I said and addressed all of my needs. He was thorough and caring. I had a great first visit with my provider and was very pleased with the care I received. However, I cannot speak to the competence of the office staff or the office's ability to accurately relay messages between patients and providers.

I would also strongly encourage the practice's leadership to provide patients with clear follow-up information after telehealth or online appointments. Doing so could help reduce confusion, improve communication, and potentially prevent unnecessary errors or harm.

It appears there may be a lack of a clear protocol for situations in which a provider is out of town and a patient has questions regarding the dosage of their medication. Establishing a standardized process for these circumstances could help ensure timely communication, reduce confusion, and promote patient safety. Hopefully this is something the practice will consider going forward.

I have been trying to find a good pcp for a while. She was recommended to me by a friend. I called the office the first available as a new patient was telemed (no problem for me). I saw her a few days later... told her my main concerns at the time. She put in labs for me right away and I went and had my blood drawn the next morning. Does not accept Medicaid patients but tells them that they do, and when their practitioner up and quit the practice without notice, forcing me, the caregiver to scramble and find another practitioner, and then to add insult to injury, this "Essential Clnic" started sending collection letters demanding payment for what Medicare and Medicaid would not pay, which is AGAINST the law. This has been going on for a couple of years now, and every time I try to call them, their voice mail box is full, hmmm....Today I received a nasty letter demanding payment of several hundred dollars from my 94 yr old mother or it will go to collections. Good luck with that, and again, that is in violation of Federal statute. Federal law (42 CFR § 447.15) requires Medicaid providers to accept the Medicaid reimbursement rate as payment in full, prohibiting them from balance billing or seeking collection from patients for covered services. Well, today I filed a Medicaid fraud complaint against this company. Have fun!

Well, I tried calling you back at that new number, and again, mailbox is full. I don't have time to play games. Say what you want, you are most definitely balance billing my mother, and I am not going to waste any more of my time trying to help you avoid violating the law. You can explain what you have been doing to the Feds when they come calling. We, as in, my mother, and I, her caregiver, complied fully by providing you with her insurance information and her Medicaid information and we were told that you were a network provider, so, this is on you. If you were not a network or contracted provider, and presented yourselves to be so, and later decided to bill us, that's NOT our obligation to pay you. I am done communicating with you. If I see one letter from a collection agency, I will be delighted to share it with Health and Human Services fraud division. Be well.

Fraud. Office worker didn't bill my insurance nor bill me and they are asking for $500 and sending it to collections.

Doctor here isn't supposed to prescribe medications that he prescribed to me, even the pharmacist was refusing this office's prescriptions.

I'm SURE federal agencies are pretty SENSITIVE to FRAUD, I'll pay since I don't want it to go to collections, but you're playing with fire.

Dr. Wally Joseph is amazing. He really listens and cares about his patients. Leona and all the staff there are like family. They are all so genuine. I've been receiving care at this office for many years and the quality of care that I have recieved has never waivered. They consistently show a level of care that goes above and beyond. I have no issues with the provider. But I was asked to reschedule my telehealth appointment by the office staff without being offered the opportunity to be seen in person. It was devastating because by the time a person finally makes the call for psychiatric help, they are at a point where they needed to be seen 2 weeks ago or more so to reschedule is quite detrimental.

I don't know where I would be had I not come to Essential Clinic in 2024. Dr. Wally has always gone above and beyond in his professional and caring approach to my treatment. I would also like to recognize how wonderful the rest of the staff is. Specifically Dennis and Jessie, who did my TMS treatments. I don't know the names of the others, but everyone I have worked with in my 2 years of being a patient has been pleasant, charming, and knowledgeable. They often have appointments available when I need them. They are very accommodating and always make me feel like a priority. In summary, this office is a dream medical team! Keep it up guys.
