My bf paid for a pair of glasses here.
Previously he paid for an eye exam and they had his information on his prescription lenses..

While paying he was quoted 468 to go with a thinner material. He asked if he could just do the regular material and they said yes and he paid 182.

A few days after paying, he was told that in order to get his glasses he would pay 160 more for the thinner material...

If the lenses weren't going to fit or if adjustments needed to be made, they had his prescription information and could have said this upfront.. I feel as though they did this with the intention of up selling him...

I had a unique, challenging, (tinting) problem that was not able to be resolved at another eyeglass provider (VA), and after four attempts, I decided to reach out to Eyeglass World for their expertise.

I've been going here for years & haven't had any problems. I use the eye exams, I get my glasses here and have had no major problems with them. Last year bc my vision is changing & I'm getting older, glasses r getting thicker, heavier, the pair I got was a bit uncomfortable on my cheeks. The woman fixing them said " I can't change the plastic on ur face. That's just how it is".So I left w the plastic touching my cheeks not looking so great.Honestly I hated them. Wore the glasses I had b4. When I went in to adjust these again bc the old ones were so scratched I could barely see, I got a young woman named STACI.She was MIRACLE WORKER! She adjusted my glasses so well that they weren't touching my cheeks, weren't falling off when I bent over, they fit so well! Better than they ever did! I actually liked them! Almost 💕! Came into the shop to get a new pair of spectacles because I want to ditch my contact lenses and train my eyes using the Bates method and the Norbekov system to ultimately restore my vision. Eyeglass World gave me great customer service and an amazing deal—2 pairs for $99 with next-day pickup! The location I visited was on Sahara Ave, and they were super fast and helpful.
For comparison, my first stop needed 10 days for just 1 pair at the same price, and another store needed 2 weeks. If you want great prices and quick service, I definitely recommend the Eyeglass World on Sahara Ave.

I want to warn the community about the dishonest and unprofessional service I experienced at this optical store. They tried to overcharge me even though I went in with full insurance coverage. According to them, after applying my benefits, I still had to pay $280, when my insurance actually covers the frames, the eye exam, the lenses, and additional benefits. I was only supposed to pay $55 for progressive lenses.

I went to Walmart instead, and the experience was completely different—better service, better attention, and better-quality lenses. They confirmed that my insurance covers a full set of glasses, with only an additional $55 for progressive lenses.

The staff at this optical store seem more interested in their own profit than in providing honest service. It’s unacceptable that with full insurance coverage they try to make you pay almost the same as if you had none at all. They inflate the estimate so you end up paying the same amount regardless.

This optical store is misleading and dishonest. Please be aware and protect yourself from this type of deceptive practice

Our experience getting glasses for both my husband and me was excellent!! Kaitlyn helped us both times and she was a phenomenal help! She listens, she understands and she connected my husband with the professor that works there who got to the bottom of my husband‘s very unique vision issue, which involved needing a prism in his lens. Both parties took all the time necessary to get the problem solved, and in our opinion, went way beyond what the average customer service experience is these days! We appreciate this so, since our vision is obviously important and good customer service is so rare these days! I very rarely do reviews unless the Service is very bad or very Good.
Well, this review is because Ana, at EyeglassWorld on Sahara provided me with some of the best customer service I've ever experienced.
She was extremely personable, answered all my questions, was honest when I asked how glasses looked on me hahaha
She knew I was going to be traveling out of the Country for 4 months, so she made me a pair of non transition glasses so I could have a pair during my extended trip, which were a lifesaver.
When I advised her l would be gone for 4 months, she said it will not be a problem, as they would be ready for me upon my return.
She actually made a set of custom transition lenses for my Ray Ban Meta glasses and they look and work great.
I can honestly say with absolutely no reservations at all that, you will see what the art of true customer service is all about.
The only negative about this, is you will forever be chasing the outstanding level of excellence she provided you, but it will elude you.
But, there will always be an opportunity to experience the Nirvana of true customer service yearly when, like me, you will need a stronger set of glasses.

Really inconveniencing because when I called ahead they said they took VSP for glasses, just not the exam. The girl on the phone told me about different specials and deals they had that would apply to me if I wanted to come back with my script. When I got there they said they don’t take VSP right off the bat. The girl said they take “a little” of it and basically had me walk out instead of even trying to offer me what I can get. I could have just got glasses at the place where I got the exam instead of going all over the place for a day.

On vacation and forgot my glasses. Leaving Las Vegas for Utah so needed glasses fast. I called my optometrist's office for my prescription and then called Eyeglass World. The manager was great on the phone, said they would do what they could to make me some glasses asap. When I got there, Jodie was awesome, helped me pick frames and asked about insurance. She helped me pay the least out of pocket possible then asked the lab to put a rush on them. I had glasses in 20 minutes (after about 40 minutes picking frames and doing paperwork.) On top of being efficient, Jodie was very friendly. If I lived in or near Las Vegas this I'd definitely the place I'd go for eyewear.

I had the pleasure of being helped by the nicest most helpful lady named Julianne 'jules'. She went above and beyond without hesitation to find a way for me to afford the glasses as well as the protection plan without me having to ask..I only mentioned that I wouldn't be able to get the protection plan because I only had enough money for the glasses. All she said was she would be right back and came back with some frames that were just like the ones I had picked out only they were sale because they were being discontinued...ended up costing me less with the discounted frames and protection plan...

I had an emergency situation where I needed a new pair of glasses on the same day as coming in. I talked to the assistant manager Kaitlyn on the phone and explained what was going on and she told me I could come in and she'd help me. YESSSS!!!! Highly recommended! I lost my glasses while out of the country and just returned today. I chose an upgraded bifocal progressive lens and they were only $200 out the door for two pairs! Best experience ever! Kaitlyn and Jasmin cured my cancer! No, but in all seriousness, they came in clutch. I was on a trip in Vegas with my dad for a few days and without thinking about it, accidentally wore my NEW glasses on the Big Apple. Long story short, they ended up flying off and I was nearly blind for about 17 hours. Was getting to the point where I was losing hope and had just about accepted that the remainder of my trip was toast when I found Eyeglass World! The girls got me in asap and took my prescription. I asked if there was any way without inconveniencing them that we could possibly rush the glasses as we had a show booked for that night and had a pretty bad migraine. They promptly spoke to those working in the lab part of the facility and agreed to have them ready in an HOUR for only $108!!! 2 pairs!!! I bought a pair of lenses & within the first 10 months the lenses cracked! ( mind you they were not cheap 350$)
This was due to the product they used for lenses. They started cracking on the bottom of the lense then slowly proceeded to crack on both sides of the lense horizontally. Not one lense but both!
I contacted Eyeglass World and they would not replace their faulty product.
They lost a customer because of this. I buy new lenses/glasses every two years. I'm now shopping for a new pair of glasses.
If they would've at least met me half way they would've had customer for life.

SPECtacular all around. My wife and I live outside the country and were going to be in Vegas for just a few days. I called ahead of our arrival and spoke to Ed and he assured me that they would be able to fill our prescritions iin the few days we were going to be there. I have to say I am extremely impressed with the staff at this location on Sahara. Kaitlyn, Ann & Erika all work seamlessly together to ensure every customer feels attended to and no detail is spared from the service provided for each individual. There was a constant flow of traffic, and each of the situations required a different approach. The staff remained calm and was able to provide an unrushed experience while simultaneously quickly getting through the queue. They were extremely informative, and I was very pleased with my product that I received that very same day within I want to say an hour or so. I actually had my boyfriend come down and get a couple pairs of glasses as well, and he also agreed that the staff was knowledgeable as well as thoughtful and provided a pleasant and fast experience! 10/10 would recommend!

I had such a great experience at this eyeglass world! I’m only staying in Vegas for 2 days and I had my prescription glasses stolen off my face while on the strip. She was able to make my complex astigmatism prescription in under 3 hours so that I’d be able to see at my concert tonight. So happy!! 500/10

I was visiting family in Nevada when my glasses broke. I was able to walk in with my new prescription, pick out glasses, and have them made same day. Ed and his staff were super professional, friendly, and even straightened out an issue with care credit. I was so happy I got 2 pairs for the price of 1, continue my vacation without a headache, and to recieve excellent customer service. Having a good experience here. Kaitlyn has been very helpful. She knows when to leave you alone and let you look around. She has been very good at adjusting my glasses. Just the whole experience has been pleasurable. Thanks for making me feel well cared for but not pushy at all.
