I’ve been struggling with excessive arm pit sweat since my teenage years. I’ve tried just about everything to mixed results. Presciption deoderants work okay for me but come with staining of shirts. I got a Botox treatment by Nicolette applied to each of my arm pits and within less than two weeks, excessive sweating is no more! I just started seeing Nicollette because I am trying to get ahead of aging, and I've reached the point in my life where I was just not getting all the care I needed from my regular doctor. I found Wellness and Hormones Ave and Nicolette really did a deep dive into my labs and gave me a treatment plan to help some of my deficiencies. I am retired military, and Nicollette is still serving in the reserves, so it's nice to work with someone who knows about my insurance (Tricare). I do have to pay out of pocket for some things, but that seems to be the norm for this aspect of medicine until you have bigger issues, which I am hoping to get ahead of. I think there are so many taboos with women and aging and now that I am half a century old, I want to stay as healthy and active as I can for as long as I can, which means working with Nicollette to help improve the health areas (perimenopause/menopause) that is often overlooked by other Drs. Nicolette is the absolute best. She truly listens to what you have to say and does not make you feel rushed. She has helped me with my PCOS diagnosis and also helped me identify some other health issues that were not being addressed by other provider's offices. I love that she practices functional medicine and focuses on having her patients live at their optimal health rather just sliding through life. I can't wait for my genetic testing results to come back so she can help me choose what supplements would be best for me.
