I am a person who is sooo scared of getting any dental work done, and when you think of the word root canal you’re like “OH NO, not that 😞“ I was originally going to my primary dentist for my root canal but after feeling uneasy with them, I knew it was time to find someone else. I looked and looked for places online and I truly loved the reviews of this location. I went in very nervous for my root canal. But as soon as I layed down, Dr.Fife and his team talked me through every step of the process and made me feel much more comfortable. He also made the numbing shots almost pain free. The entire process was quick, easy and & TRULY painless. It was over and done within 30 mins, I can’t believe I was having nightmares about the procedure 🤣. He is a pro at what he does and I couldn’t be more pleased with my entire experience with this office. They even contact you after your visit to see how you are feeling & they make sure you’re doing okay. 5 stars all around for this location!!!! I had the Privilege to go to Fife and Steffen Endodontics. First off the office all the way to where you get your teeth done is Beautiful and Clean. The Staff is so friendly and professional. They were very helpful and kind to me. Then Dr. Jeff H. Phan is such a kind and professional doctor. He was so kind and cared about my needs, such an amazing doctor. I needed a root canal performed and was given Dr. Fife's name. I don't like any medical procedures but I will tell you if you need a root canal this doctor is the best specialist in dentistry I have ever gone to. He puts you at ease, and works like a precision machine, just amazing! I would recommend him to anyone needing this procedure! I went to Fife and Steffen today for my first Root Canal Treatment. I was so nervous as everybody going for their first time. I was so welcomed from the front staff and they got me in the back super quick. The assistant I had I apologize I forgot her name I was so nervous. As I was waiting I over heard Dr. Fife and another assistant in the next room and I was so impressed and started to feel less nervous as I heard Dr explain the steps as he went along and the assistant assuring the patient they are doing awesome! When Dr came into my room he introduced himself and was so kind and was so educational when he was reviewing the x-rays with me and showing me what was going on and once we got started, I felt so relaxed I didn’t feel pain he numbed me perfectly! He explained each step he was performing and after it was done I thought to myself he did an amazing job! Knowing this was my first and hopefully last, But if I ever do end up needing another Root Canal Treatment I will definitely be returning!! And I RECOMMEND ANYBODY THATS NEEDS ONE rather you already experienced one before or if you have NEVER.. GO TO Fife And Steffen!!! 🙌🏼🦷😁💙

What? Are you kidding me? Just like that?
I went for a consultation of a re-do root canal today I had put off for about a year cause I was TERRIFIED of the pain I thought I was about to experience again. After Dr. Steffen explained it was necessary for the redo I jumped in head first because he was so informative and kind.

The procedure was painless.....even the anesthetic injections were gentle!!! Dr. Steffen and Alley (sp)worked together well as a team and had me skipping on out of the place, all patched up and ready to go.

The front desk staff were exceptional too! 😍

I really do not want another root canal, but if I hear the words, I'll be hoping Dr. Steffen is still working in Vegas!

I’ve had root canals before, and I have to say Dr. Fife was excellent. He and his staff were courteous, professional, and made the experience as comfortable as possible. The procedure was efficient, and he was especially skilled with the numbing shots, which made a big difference. After the numbness wore off, I had only minor soreness and very little pain compared to past experiences. Some dentists can be rough, but he was gentle and thorough. I’m very glad I chose him over the other referrals I received and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I am incredibly thankful to have been referred to such a talented and compassionate team. I was originally scheduled to see Dr. Fife next week, but I woke up this morning in unbearable pain. I called the office hoping for a cancellation or any chance to be seen, and his amazing staff found a way to fit me in. I’m so grateful they did.

During the visit, Dr. Fife was honest, calm, and reassuring as he performed my root canal. He explained every step—what might pinch, sting, or feel uncomfortable—so nothing ever caught me off guard. My tooth was severely abscessed and my gums were inflamed, so there was some discomfort, but the moment he relieved the pressure, just like he said, the pain eased almost instantly.

By far the best experience I could have hoped for based on what happened to my tooth. I needed a I needed an emergency root canal. Not Only did the staff accommodate me on short notice the Doctor and his assistant were amazing. Dr.Fifes bedside manner is top notch. He personally reached out ofter surgery to check on me and to let me know he was available for any questions. All the staff are kind and helpful. I started feeling serious throbbing pain in one of my far back teeth that only lessened when using Ibuprofen every 6-8 hours. My dentist referred me to this Endodontics office, telling me they were great at what they do. I contacted æFife and Steffen Endodontics" today and fortunately for me, they had an opening today. During my visit today, I was cordially greeted by "Abby" at the front counter and she was very efficient and courteous. I was then called back by a dental assistant (I think that's her title!) named Joanne. She took my X-rays and very courteously explained the process of what she and Dr. Fife would be doing. When Dr. Fife came in he explained what was going on with my tooth (dying roots!) and exactly what he was going to do for the Root-Canal procedure. He numbed the area quickly and with very little pain during the two injections. His entire procedure took less than 30 minutes from start to finish and I felt absolutely no pain at any time. This is the first time I have had a major dental procedure that I did not feel serious pain throughout. I was shocked and very pleasantly surprised. Additionally, I wanted to mention how impressed I was with how incredibly well Dr. Fife and Dental Assistant Joanne worked together. I have never seen such smooth working crew in a dental office and I have been to many over the years. Joanne seemed to know everything Dr. Fife needed without him having to ask. Then I wanted to add that during my check out process, I was helped by again by "Addy" (unk. spelling!). Addy too was very helpful, professional and ultra courteous. I cannot complement this Endodontist office enough. I am sitting here in my home waiting for the numbness in my mouth to subside, thinking how lucky I am to have had this procedure done by "Fife and Steffen Endodontists." I will definitely continue to go here for any such needs in the future and will definitely refer anyone I hear looking for a good Endodontist to them. I had a very good experience with my root canal with Dr. Steffen. He constantly ask you how I am and what step he is while doing the procedure. The assistants makes you feel at ease and comforting. The lady who takes care of the insurance and charges is very good at what she does. She explained to me that maybe I would qualify with my. medicare advantage plan and she did tried to check if my aetna medicare advantage if I can still save on top of my metlife insurance. I didnt qualify but the fact that she tried for my benefit is astounding. Thank you all very much!

I made a same day appointment with this Dr. Fife’s office. The office was kind and professional. When I got to my appointment I was seen right at my appointment time. I saw the doctor right away he gave me an exam, read my X-rays and completed my procedure within an hour. The doctor was through and explained my procedure as well as aftercare instructions.

I had to go in for a root canal, not my fist sadly… and likely not my last. I was extremely impressed by the whole team. I had the most excruciating pain in my life from what I felt was a pulpitis. Staff answered my call and the receptionist was absolutely sympathetic AND gave me lots of true empathy. Just from that the pain went away! (that’s what real empathy can do) I didn’t want to risk the horrible pain coming back so I asked if I could be seen anyway - and she scheduled me for the NEXT MORNING. (Not like all the other dental offices who were cold, clinical, and offered me appointments 3 weeks out). Next morning I was back in excruciating pain and nervous because I never had serious dental work done before. I walk into the reception area and the entire staff of professional ladies in the reception area were not only lovely but created a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Within a few minutes Dr. Steffan is performing a root canal. The guy is a pro because it was done before I knew it and he numbed me up beautifully so it was completely painless. I recently moved to Las Vegas from the East coast and I have been so incredibly with the dental treatment here. First we found our new dentist who we love and then my son had an emergency and was referred to this endodontist. The office is gorgeous, and the dentist and staff were like nothing I have seen before. Every person at the front desk was so kind and welcomed us with a smile. And the dentist was absolutely incredible. I was in the room with my son and he was so clear and explained each thing he was doing and why. Having an unexpected emergency turned out to be a pleasurable experience (at least for me as the mom). If we ever need an endodontist again, there is no doubt I would return to the same place. My son, who was the patient, absolutely agrees with everything I said!! (Not to mention the dentist provided me with his cell phone number and said to reach out with any questions or concerns. That was kind of mind blowing! And he ended up reaching out to me to make sure my son was feeling ok a few hours later. Saying I was impressed is an understatement!! There is a reason why this place has nothing but amazing reviews. The care and compassion I received here were nothing short of amazing. Dr. Richards and his staff were so polite and friendly and explained EVERYTHING so clearly. Nothing was rushed and Dr. Richards took his time to explain exactly what was wrong with my root and exactly what he was going to do step by step to fix it.

They took great care in making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure, took new films to review their work, showed me what they did and they were going to send a copy to my primary dentist too so he can do my crown. They are worth the wait even if it takes a few days to get in, they have high standards for their quality of work and it truly shows. Dr. Richards even texted me later that night to make sure I was okay. Next Level care!

There was hardly a wait time even I arrived well before my scheduled appointment time. The check-in attendants were extremely welcoming and made sure to explain the visit options and costs. The X-Ray technician was super attentive and efficient and provided me with a flash drive copy to share with my dentist. I was experiencing a lot of pain and I was fortunate enough to get in to see a doctor right away. Price estimate for my procedure was given to me over the phone for transparency so there were no surprises. Everyone (from front office to back office) was nice and helpful. Office itself was clean with up-to-date equipment.

I had a crack in my far back tooth #18 . I got a cap on it back in Feb 2025 and I had prolonged pain . It was very sensitive to hot /cold and chewing the whole side of my mouth and down through my neck had severe pain that came and went. After 7 months of that- I finally went in to see a specialist. My doctor was Dr. Steffin. They took x-rays and he explained throughly what I was experiencing and he let me decided what to do. He recommended a root canal. He made me feel so calm and assured , so we did that. It took about 45 min and I felt NO pain. He was one of the most gentle dentists I’ve experienced. After the numbing wore off later that day I had No More Pain. He was so gentle. My jaw isn’t even irritated. I didn’t even need Advil. I highly recommend Dr. Steffin for a root canal.

As uncomfortable as the procedure was, there was no pain or trauma! Dr Richards talk me through the procedure, letting me know what expect and how everything looked as he uncovered and opened the tooth root and patched it up. They showed me before and after X-rays. I was sent to Fife and Steffen Endontics for a procedure by my dentist. Dr. Fife, took care of my root canal procedure. I had my root canal redone over a year ago and I haven’t had any issues. I did have to go back about year and half later cause I was having jaw pain and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t related to my past procedure. Dr. Steffen was amazing did absolutely great job I couldn’t even feel any pressure in my mouth He has a super gentle touch, which is hard to find with the doctors these days. Went in for a root canal, but did not need it instead. I had surgery to clean the infection off. The bone felt like I was only there for like 20 minutes. Definitely highly recommend this place . I have the worst anxiety when it comes to dental work Dr. Steffen Made me feel super comfortable . God forbid I need the same type of dental work again, but if I do, I will definitely be coming back here

Impromptu root canal needed. Grateful my dentist provided a referral in hopes I wouldn’t need it. I was in the same day I was in pain for 48 hours. I was so nervous about my first root canal, but they made me feel comfortable every step of the way. It was pain-free, and I left feeling cared for and truly grateful. I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Fife finished my root canal in under 20 minutes, and I didn’t feel a thing, not during the procedure, and not even later after the numbing wore off. I’m not usually keen on going to the dentist—especially not for something like a root canal. But I have to say, my experience with Dr. Fife and Rosalie completely changed my perspective.

From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. They were kind, reassuring, and very communicative throughout the whole process, explaining each step so I never felt in the dark about what was happening. That alone helped ease my anxiety.

The actual procedure? Virtually painless. I honestly didn’t feel a thing. And it was over much quicker than I expected. Dr. Fife and Rosalie are clearly skilled professionals who care about their patients’ experience as much as the results.

First I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, the waiting area is decorated very warmly and pleasant. Not feeling all that well with a throbbing tooth, it was a relief to be there. Dr. Fife and his staff were very nice. They explained everything and even so during the procedure. Quick, painless and very comfortable. Dr. Fife has a God given talent for treating people with compassion and professional precision. He has the skill set and knowledge to address serious patient issues. He took me in on a moment’s notice and diagnosed my symptoms with an accurate diagnosis and went to work. He was fast and worked on me with minimal pain. I am grateful for his service and his incredible staff for seeing me through my time of need.

I so appreciate his delightful secretary, who gave me accurate directions as to how to find my way out of Las Vegas and on my way back to Utah.

What a great experience. Was referred to Dr Fife by my dentist to treat a problem with my root canal. Could not have gone any better. The staff was very helpful on such short notice. Dr Fife and staff explained every step of the procedure, and always asked how I was doing. Procedure took around 45 minutes to an hour. Dr Fife also contacted me later in the day to see if I was doing ok. Will definitely recommend Dr Fife and staff.

I am posting this review under pseudonym. I had an urgent appointment with referral from my dentist after some serious gum inflammation. It was an appointment with Dr. Fife. Practice is located in one of the most picturesque areas of the town. The place is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Their reception staff is the nicest one. Intake takes 2 min and it’s with no prior paper submitting. X-rays were done in another 5 minutes (all equipment is so up to date from top brands and highly adjustable). But the most impressive part was - how amazing well Dr. Fife and his assistant Joann are working. It’s a scene from high end science documentary. Very complicated concept was explain to me on the screen in 2 min. It was the most reassuring intro I ever experienced. And doctor has truly easy hand on diagnostics - he approached it by several methods to get better understanding what set of issues to tackle immediately. Then I had a complicated surgery done in 20 minutes with fascinating precision and comforting calm attitude. All the materials used are very well fitted and of excellent quality. So I left the office 45 minutes later with smiles - very strange feelings after root canal surgery. I highly recommend the practice to everyone - its a pleasure to see so many medical professionals at the top level of the mastery.

I went to the wrong address so I was late for my appointment. The staff were understanding and very friendly. I was taken immediately for my CT and X-rays. I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband Richard a. He had a root canal done by Fife and Steffen. My husband is OCD and a complete germaphobe. He said aside from the office staff being the nicest and professional front staff he has ever come across. The doctor and assistant were a well-oiled machine. They explained everything. Office was ready for me when I got there. Dr Fife came right in and got started on my root canal. They fixed me!!!!!
A different dental office did a filing that didn’t work, then a crown that made it worse, Fife and Steffen Endodontics immediately knew I needed a root canal, did some tests to be sure,. Every one was super friendly, and professional. They made my appointment, verified my insurance and gave me the cost prior to coming in so I could get it done right away if I needed and chose to.
I was warned I could be sensitive to cold for a few days but honestly it’s all gone just 10hrs after the root canal.

I came here by a referral from my dentist and had a great experience. I did not have an appointment but came by to drop off my referral paperwork and they had a cancellation and got me in right away. The first thing I noticed was the office was beautiful and it smells amazing! Although I had to have a procedure that was not cheap, they made it easy and talked me through the whole thing. Dr. Fife even personally texted me later in the day to check on me. Overall, great care and a place I would highly recommend to anyone needing an endodontist.

Was recommended to this office by my dentist, should have trusted tge bad reviews. Dr Fife attempted to do a root canal and was unsuccessful to clear the canal, after going back mentioned to him I am still in pain, he suggested to extract my tooth that I just paid so much for.. after my dentist talked to him I went back, now he wa so sure the issue is coming from my tooth behind it, that did not resolve my issue, he did an unnecessary root canal on a good tooth and doing so drilled through a good crown. DO NOT TRUST ESPECIALLY SOMEONE WHO TALKS A LOT ABOUT THEMSELVES AND THEIR EQUIPMENT.

No one likes having a root canal. The sounds, the smells, the stinging of a shot or six of Novocain. The whole experience is to be avoided. But, when you can't avoid it, see Dr. Fife. His office and staff will make the experience the best it can be. Yes, you're going to hurt afterward, and yes, you'll have nightmares about the drills. But, he actually texts you later in the evening to check on your progress, and his staff is second to none. Look, you don't want to go through this, but you're going to.
