I had been trying for over two weeks to get an infected tooth removed and had been turned away three times because of my BPPV. Every other place treated it as a reason not to help me. This office was the first one that actually tried to solve it.
They called me themselves, before my appointment, to arrange a patch to keep the dizziness under control. The surgeon had an understanding of vertigos, which made all the difference — he understood what I was dealing with instead of just seeing a complication on a chart. He did the extraction the same day under local anaesthetic.
I came in exhausted, in a lot of pain, and expecting to be sent away again. Instead I was listened to and taken care of. I am very grateful.

Kate and Dr. Park and the tech are awesome. The new tech was gentle and the x-rays didn't hurt or make me uncomfortable at all- she is good! Dr. Park was so gentle, I nearly fell asleep with the deep cleaning- loved his gentle hand. Kate... as always, friendly, helpful, sweet and very informative. Always trying to help patients like me with dental wrk needed but also having financial obstacles. We figured out a plan and what I kept holding work on for 2-3 years because of money, we finally got it worked out and I'm scheduled to get all my bundle work done.

Kind of steep pricing with insurance but almost every time I have gone there the dentist no matter who it is does not seem to care about people who have sensitive teeth. But to give them benefit of the doubt most dentist don’t care. If you have sensitive teeth just be careful they won’t be gentle with your teeth or be caring. But other than that they will clean your teeth.

I found Flamingo Smiles Dentistry last year (June 2025). I had a dentist that I had been going to for 20+ years, unfortunately he passed away suddenly :-( and now I was left to find a new dentist. I set up my first appointment with Kate over the phone. When I arrived, I met Hola & Kate in person, very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Very nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated, nice exam rooms, very comforting. I really liked everyone from X-rays (Camila) to cleaning (Shayna) to Dr Estrada, everyone made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Had to get a new crown (my insurance covered it) a month later, which fit perfectly and was completed all in one day (granted I was there for 2.5-3 hours) but I was amazed at the fact that it didn't need any adjusting once it was cemented in (that was a first). I also ordered a bite guard for at night. Went in a week or so later to pick it up and it fit perfectly-no adjusting needed (that was a first too). May 2026: Some new people have joined the practice since my last year's visit, some have left but once again I was treated very nicely at check-in with Kate, X-ray's with Angie, and exam with Dr. Estrada. I'll be going back next week for my cleaning and continued care following. I have recommended Flamingo Smiles & Dr. Estrada to several of my friends. Thank you for your kindness and making me feel like I matter!

Told me I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed for $1000. Went to another two dentists and they both told me there is no need because I had four teeth removed when I was a kid and I have more than enough space to keep my wisdom teeth.

This scamming dentist saw the opportunity to make some easy money and lied to me! Do not go here! I’m pretty sure all the five star reviews are fake.

I’ve dealt with TMJ for almost ten years and have always gone to med spas to get my Botox to loosen the muscles. It was a relief to find Dr Escoto who explained how he could fix my tmj through his expertise. He administered my Botox differently than any medspa I’ve been to. I felt instant relief on my right side and my left side in 4 days. I now have a night guard to help with grinding and clenching. It’s such a relief to find an expert in this.

I found this place through my HMO insurance and got my x-rays taken August 2025 and I was informed I needed a periodontal cleaning, which I ended up doing in October 23, 2025. I went today for a periodontal maintenance ($188) and provided the dental office with proof of my periodontal cleaning being done. They still insisted I needed all of the stuff listed in the picture and said that they wouldn’t be able do my cleaning unless I did everything ($432) due to “the board” seeing it as negligence. I informed Dr. Alan Estrada that I am giving my consent to just do as I requested which was only the periodontal maintenance. He refused service and informed me that I could try other places and see if they can do it. I spoke to other dental offices and was informed that dental offices like theirs are just trying to claim as much insurance as they can and get more money out of your pocket for things that aren’t necessary. I spoke to three different dentists and they all told me the same results. DO NOT go to this dental office because they are the ones who are truly neglecting the patient especially their requests.

I HATE going to the dentist. I never am numbed enough and always feel everything. So going in for a crown wasn’t high on my list! Office staff was actually nice! Kayte greeted me with a smile and was very attentive and nice so that helped ease my anxiety. Kassidy welcomed me to the back and went through everything with me and addressed my concerns. She also set the expectations for me for the appointment further reducing my anxiety. Both Dr Escoto and Estrada took care of me. I only needed one shot and it worked through the entire procedure even while the crown was custom made!!! Wow!!! All done in one shot!!!! Dr’s were great and just got it done. Not a lot of back and forth they did each step and then verified and moved on to the next step. I didn’t feel any pain the entire process! Kassidy was a great assistant! Really took care of me and laughed at my dad jokes as I was trying to relieve my anxiety. Her parents raised her right! Great Job! Maybe I’ll Visit the dentist more often now?

I was part of a family business as a dental technician supporting 20 dentists during my 10 years. I have seen the good, bad, and ugly and this place superceded all expectations from the front desk, to the assistant and Dr. Estrada. This was one of those rare encounters where the office and doctor actually LISTENED and took inventory of my wants and needs. I met Dr Estrada only this first time, but I have no desire ever to look for another dentist ever again. He is spectacular both in his demeanor and skills. I feel very fortunate that all the chaos that led me to arrive at Flamingo Smiles was a blessing in disquise. I could tell you stories that would make you cringe of how I have been treated both as a person and patient and the less than acceptable treatment plans I received. Perhaps part of that was because I was an "insider. But today, I am just another person looking for pain relief and a remedy for my future. I have it now.

Dr Estrada's skills in addressing my situation were immpeccable and he never once presented himself or his assessment as more important that my needs. He even said "It's your mouth, we will do what you want, as best we can." I don't believe for a second if I had asked for something that didn't serve my best interest he would have offered his counsel, but not in a way that would have made me feel less than. He is a genuine health care provider and if you have even a glimmer of doubt about choosing him or Flamingo Smiles office, dismiss it now and take the next step to alleviating your situation.

Title: Stay Away -- Misleading and Disappointing Experience

I called over 10 dental offices before choosing Flamingo Smiles Dental. Every single office, without exception, told me that the first appointment with my Liberty Insurance would include an X-ray and a standard teeth cleaning, along with recommendations based on the results.

However, when I showed up for my appointment at Flamingo Smiles this morning, I was given only an X-ray. Then I was presented with a treatment plan that included a deep cleaning and other procedures totaling over $1,000--but no basic cleaning was done at all.

When I returned to ask that they not bill my insurance since the cleaning was never performed, they refused. I spoke with Hola at the front desk--she was polite and professional, but ultimately just following orders.

To make things worse, as I was leaving, I met another patient--a middle-aged woman--who told me she experienced the exact same thing: promised cleaning, only got an X-ray, and was billed anyway.

This feels like misleading advertising at best, and at worst, a system designed to upsell unnecessary treatments without fulfilling basic expectations.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others.
Bottom line: STAY AWAY from Flamingo Smiles Dental.

I have been coming to this practice for years, back when Dr. Lee was the dentist here. The staff were always amazing from front to back. When the practice was transferred over, I was nervous to continue care because it took me a long time to be comfortable with a dentist office and I was already used to my current doctor (I have a huge fear of dentists). I made my follow up appointment with Dr. Estrada and I’m glad I decided to do so. He is very kind and a thorough doctor. He answered any questions I had and made me very comfortable during my visit. Him and his staff explained everything to me and made sure I was aware of procedures, my insurance coverage, and my options. I’ve been following up with Dr. Estrada for a while now and he is one of the best doctors I’ve had and his staff is absolutely amazing.

Coming from a patient with super bad ptsd when it comes to dentist, this place was for me more importantly they wanted to help save my teeth and my pockets, knowing that my comfort was the only thing that mattered at the moment & getting me out of pain.

Originally had work done here before, they changed management so coming back after a few years for a emergency root canel and find out your original doctor and staff was no longer there, was the worst but once I meet with doctor Patton and he spoke to me about everything knowing I didn't have insurance him and his team Kate ,Gabe ,
And the rest of the team made something affordable and got me schedule to attack the problem ASAP.

There deep cleaning speaclist forget her name at the moment was amazing I Hate needles in my moth and this lady,
I don't know how she does it made it feel painless from the first prick to the last. Safe to say I want all my anesthesia done by her.

I was so fortunate to come accross this office. I had a incident that happened, that knocked some of my front teeth out. Because it wasn't a situation that I was expecting, the staff knowing that I didnt have insurance and the circumstances, they went above and beyond. I am ver scared of any dental procedures. Dr Estrada and her assistant Peggy was extremely professional, thorough, and took the time to explain each step of the procedure. I appreciated their gentle approach and attention to detail. They made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit and answered all my questions patiently.
I had an anxiety attack during the procedure and they were both very patient with me , really very patient with me. They didn’t rush me , they gave me time to relax and made me laugh so I can feel better . THEY ARE SO HUMANLY KIND! Unlike the other doctors I’ve seen, that just want the work done. Both Dr Estrada and Peggy made me feel that they care. They understand how I was feeling.

Went to get a cleaning and they literally looked in my mouth, did a visual exam, said all was well and did nothing to clean my teeth.
Being a normal cleaning involves descaling with a dental pick to get plaque off and out of crevices, I did not feel comfortable with this lackluster laissez faire approach, especially being a type 1 diabetic and knowing oral health is critical to maintaining good blood pressure and extenuating good health.
I then went to get a second option at another dentist and they spent an hour descaling my teeth to remove plaque build up, treated me with ozone to kill bacteria and had advised I was overdue for a cleaning, which I was as it had been about 9 months.
Flamingo smiles then wants to charge me for clean they obviously didn’t provide, and even
More importantly, putting my health at risk due to negligence of proper care.
I expressed my concerns to one of their staff named Paula, who could not have conducted herself anymore unprofessionally as she was unsophisticated, presumptions, assumptive and unwilling to advise a supervisor of the issue at hand.
Shame on Flamingo Smiles and my only advice is that you likely could not find worse care anywhere else. PATIENT BEWARE!

My doctor was doctor Jee yoo , prior to my appointment i asked for a consultation because previous doctors had told me my lip would be permanently damaged after removing my wisdom teeth during my consultation he reassured me to let me know it would only be temporary and made me feel comfortable with trusting him to proceed with the procedure i am 3 days post op and haven’t been in any pain with very minimal swelling 10/10 would definitely recommend him !

If you are looking for a Dentist who takes cash patients I highly recommend Flamingo Smiles Dentistry they have a fantastic program for cash pay and insurance patients. This was my first visit here, I must say I was impressed the front staff is very friendly and make you feel at ease. Dr. Lam was friendly and made you feel comfortable and easy to talk to, and he actually listens to your concerns and takes his time to explain the procedures, he answered all my questions without getting frustrated. My bridge had come off and down the hatch it went which left jagged edges of what was once a tooth. That tooth needed to be pulled out and a new bridge was to be put in. Dr Lam was careful to avoid the sinus nerves, and did an amazing job at numbing just the area he was going to be working on. I felt bad for Dr Lam, my tooth was not gonna leave without puttin up a fight, in the end Dr Lam got the best of the tooth. Sitting at home now for a couple hours after and there is no pain soreness or throbbing.

Went here for a wisdom tooth extraction. After a checkup and some x rays, the dental surgeon said he would only do it under general anesthesia.

I refused that, as I'm terrified of that, after which Nichole from the reception desk went out of her way to contact several dentistries in order to find someone that would remove my wisdom tooth under local sedation.

Despite spending probably over an hour on me, I was not charged anything. Even though my wisdom tooth was not extracted here, I'm really happy with the service at this dentistry and Nichole's service in particular!
