I've been a patient for Dr Todd Cressman and his assistant Lelaine for a about 5 years now. I was afraid and nervous during my first time visit. I am a long time patient of Dr. Cressman. He and his staff have always been kind, accommodating, and gentle! The hygienist I see for cleanings is named Debbie and she handles my cleanings all the time. She is thoughtful, gentle, and understanding about my anxious moments in the chair. Courtney is the front office manager I believe and her customer service is not only caring but very thorough when it comes to updating my insurance info along with appointment scheduling. Where do I begin with this review? From the moment I walked in to the Spanish trails Gentle Dentle location. There was such a positive energy. This office has exceeded my expectations of a Gentle Dentle in so many ways. First and foremost I came to this location because I will follow my fabulous hygienist, Debbie to anywhere she goes. She is the most thorough, caring and hard-working dental hygienist I have ever known. I have been with Gentle Dentle for 30 years and I have been at three locations in my 30 years. The leadership at this office is outstanding and the climate is so positive. Upon meeting Dr. Cressman for the first time, I felt completely at ease and his wonderful personality, reduced any or all tension that I may have felt initially. Before the dental visit, I had the opportunity to meet with Elena. She has such a positive and calming energy, and I learned so much from her in such a short time. She has a wealth of expertise that most certainly deserves attention and kudos. At the end of the visit, the treatment coordinator by the name of Courtney was so thorough and eager to answer lots of questions. I couldn’t thank her enough for all that she has done to make this a great place to be! This is a fabulous and dynamic team that is currently in place! I hope that the Gentle Dentle leadership realizes the people that are at this location are creating a positively huge impact for customers and should serve as a model location for others to emulate from. This entire staff is deeply appreciated for all that they do. By following my favorite hygienist, I now have a brand new location that I feel respected and satisfied with. God bless them all. My husband began going to Gentle Dental after we moved from Phoenix in 2018. At his first appointment, he received a regular dental cleaning. At his very next visit, he was switched to periodontal cleanings, despite never being diagnosed with gum disease and being told his gums looked healthy.
Years later, while reviewing our records and invoices, I noticed he had been receiving and being charged for periodontal cleanings for an extended period. This raised concerns, so I contacted Delta Dental and requested that the charges be reviewed.
We also discovered that my husband had been charged an additional $400 for one gold crown and $450 for another. When Delta Dental and I questioned these charges, we were told the additional fees were for a five-year warranty on the crowns. We found this explanation concerning and requested further clarification.
I began this process in February 2025 and did not give up. Delta Dental repeatedly requested information from the office and asked that documentation be resubmitted, but the matter was not resolved until Delta Dental’s Las Vegas office became involved and conducted an investigation. After several months of persistent follow-up and review, the issue was finally resolved at the end of September 2025, when I received a reimbursement check from Delta Dental for $859.
Throughout the process, our interactions with the office manager, Nick, were frustrating, as we found him to be rude and unhelpful when we were seeking answers.
I encourage patients to carefully review their invoices, treatment codes, insurance explanations of benefits, and any additional charges. Also, don’t give up if something does not seem right. Based on our experience, persistence was necessary to get answers and resolve the issue. We had significant concerns regarding billing transparency, communication, and customer service.

But they could only guarantee a consultation because they don’t know if the doctor will be available for a cleaning during my appointment. Isn’t that what an appointment is for? To ensure the provider is available.

Everyone in the office was so nice and helpful! I Wasn't even sitting in the waiting room for minute before they called me back, so virtually no wait. I am grateful for the excellent tooth cleaning I received from Gentle Dental Spanish Trail last November 08,2017.

Mr. John, the dental hygienist was indeed very gentle and kind in meticulously and thoroughly cleaning and patiently flashing out all dental dirt on my teeth and in my mouth. I felt so fresh and clean after the procedure.

1. Dr. Todd Cressman did a splendidly professional treatment of my decaying upper right molars.
The procedure was definitely painful, but he made it bearable on a senior like me; with his pleasant
remarks and gentle manner of injecting several anesthesia on my affected mouth areas, patiently
removing a set of five, heavily cemented porcelain crowns, before extracting my molars. It took him
a long while, but I persevered too In patience and prayers...as I believed that I was in Good Hands!!!!

2. Ms. Lalaine Ramos was the dental assistant of Dr. Cressman. She is a Filipina like me.
Her friendliness is so amazingly felt and we spoke Tagalog together. My insecure feelings of the
Seriousness of my forthcoming dental procedures was alleviated with her lively remarks and
Short stories about the beautiful trees in front of me and short stories of some life experiences.
Professional wise, I believed she is highly qualified for such dental services : graduating from
Central Escolar University in Manila, Philippines, which is one of the finest universities
In dental studies in our Beloved Country, decades of dental works in the USA and her very amiable personality
Made her a very “ valuable and precious mender “ of Gentle Dental staff. Ms. Lalaine also manifested
professional accuracy and remarkable patience in making my temporary crowns: with great patience and skill.
She untiringly fitted my temporary crowns numerous times, seeing to it that they fitted me well.
Her personal concern for my after procedure home care was thoroughly explained ...like a MOTHER

First of all I don’t like dentist visits. Avoid them as much as possible. Unfortunately tooth pain won and I had to give in. I called several and this was the only one that could get me in next day. The Initial consultation was beyond reasonable compared to all the others. Got me in and took x rays and inspected problem. Solution was extraction and as I mustered up the courage to go forward with procedure it was over before I knew it. Doctor is amazing, very talented staff from office staff to nurses. Top notch. I left mumbling with my mouth all numb, one tooth less and a grateful heart that my problem was taken care of. Would recommend 10/10

Very friendly staff!

I went in for a toothache and was able to schedule an appointment as a new patient. Took me in and said all my 4 wisdom teeth and my 2 bottom molars needed to be extracted. They went over financial stuff and guided me to make sure I was 100% comfortable with local anesthesia or to be put to sleep. I'm so glad I went with local anesthesia the procedure went really smoothly, Dr. Cressman is the only dentist that does extractions at that location. Only thing that was painful was the numbing process and I did not feel a thing while they were pulling out all 6 teeth. They gave me post op instructions and Dr. Cressman was more than pleased with by how quickly I was healed by 6th day. I couldn't be happier with my decision to be a patient at this location. I look forward to all my other appointments in the future.

From the front desk staff, especially the billing staff, dental hygienist, assistants and Dr, I have never felt more comfortable, recognized and cared for more than by this office. Dr Cressman pops in, makes sure to ask how I’m doing, does the work, painlessly, and pops out, after saying a final goodbye. Their one priority is to make sure I am comfortable and not in pain. Took my 86yr old mom to get a tooth pulled. She has several teeth that could have come out but Dr Cressman gave us solid advise to keep the remaining teeth so she could still chew until they become a problem. I’ve been a patient here for over four years, but the quality and professionalism have dropped drastically in the past year. The constant turnover of front staff was the first red flag, and my most recent experiences confirmed those concerns.

I had teeth removed and was given a flipper, which from the start was made incorrectly. The impressions were poorly taken “something I pointed out at the time” yet they refused to redo them. The flipper never fit properly, popping out like a spring, stabbing my gums, and requiring 4/5 separate “adjustments” that still didn’t fix the issue till the actual dentist fixed them. I’ve had retainers and other appliances before, so I know how one should fit. This was never even close. The only way I could wear it was by using glue to stop it from cutting into my gums. It eventually broke from being too uncomfortable to wear, and after it was “repaired,” the fit was worse.

When I raised these issues, instead of taking responsibility, they tried to push me into a partial denture. Saying to me the flipper was just a temporary fix. (700$ temporary fix I might add) I agreed and scheduled the appointment. But when I arrived, I was suddenly told, for the first time, that due to a “management change” I would now need to pay upfront (1,560$) before they would even seat me. In three years, payments had always been handled without issue by my payee, and the office admitted they’d had no problems receiving those payments in the past. This new policy was never communicated until I had already lost half a day of work and showed up for the appointment. A simple phone call that morning would have saved me hours of wasted time, but instead, they let me come in just to turn me away. I really don’t like being treated as if I would steal or not pay when I have a great track record already.

Even worse, I’ve noticed they are letting other teeth go unchecked. They’ve rushed me into extractions and appliances but haven’t properly inspected the rest of my teeth. What happens after I buy this partial and then they suddenly decide another tooth “needs” to be removed? That would make the new partial useless and force me to start all over which feels more like a sales tactic than patient care.

This office is quick to call patients if you’re late but shows no respect for patients’ time when it’s on their end. They’ve shown a pattern of poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and sudden policy changes that serve their bottom line, not the patient. The dentist seems more interested in pulling teeth than in fixing them properly.

If they try to rebut this review, I welcome it, because everything I’ve said is backed by my visits, my repeated complaints, and the condition of the appliance itself. If they argue, it only proves my point: they avoid addressing the real issues while patients pay the price.

These guys can’t even take care of a simple beta fish what makes you think they can fix your teeth.

The entire staff in this office are absolutely amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and always make me feel welcome. I want to put a spotlight on Daniel, the dental assistant. He is positively darling. I feel a high level of anxiety every time I go to the dentist to have work done, even though everyone goes out of their way to make me feel comfortable here. But Daniel takes special interest in easing my anxiety. His calm demeanor and adorable sense of humor lighten the mood and keeping me informed before every puff of air or spray in the mouth kept surprises to a minimum which helped a ton also. Thank you Daniel! You're a rockstar!

My son, Jared, had dental work done on 8/14/25. He had 2 molars extracted due to being infected, a root canal, an impression for his crown, & a complete oral exam & x-rays. All this was completed that same day. I was amazed!
Jared said that Dr Cressman was AMAZING, Steffe is so sweet, & Courtney, Aleana, & Daniel were nice & comforting through the procedures as well as professional. He also said Nick was great.
He has to return for his crown & I know he's looking forward to the visit. Thank you everyone for taking such wonderful care of Jared!

I was so nervous when I went into the dentist. I had a past bad experience. But the doctor and staff exceeded my expectations. I felt no pain when the shot a pinch, and then in pulling the teeth was so painless...I have told all of my family about Gental Dental...I will be back and get my family to come also...God Bless you all...

You’re never going to believe this...

I needed a rare dental implant part that had been discontinued — like, only-found-in-Switzerland-with-a-6-to-12-month-wait rare. Most dentists would’ve thrown in the towel. Not Dr. Cressman.

He went full detective mode, tracked down the part, and treated the whole situation with calm, care, and a little bit of magic. When the part finally arrived, he did flawless work. Precise, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect.

I’ve been a patient at Gentle Dental for over 7 years. The name fits — the waiting room is zen, the staff is kind and accommodating (even during my dental implant saga), and Dr. Cressman consistently goes above and beyond.
