Show this was my first visit to Henderson Vision Care. My eye exam and retina reviews or excellently done by their technicians. I felt very comfortable through all the process. And by the way, I’m an old man so I don’t like new things and Hugo did a great job of making me comfortable. Then I have to admit I was rather surprised when the doctor came in was not in a rush, took his time explaining different things and for the first time he took the time to answer questions about my dry eyes that no other eye doctor in the last 20 years has done. Upon walking in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Each member of the staff…April, Jorge, Jeffrey…treated me like an important part of their day. The tech staff need more experience in operating some of the newer machines. I had to have several re-tries before the staff person admitted he was not experienced in operating one of the machines. Meanwhile my eyes were red and tearing. I hope that doesn’t happen again since I have been a patient of Dr. Rath’s for over 20 years!

I’ve been going to Henderson Vision Care for decades since before Dr Kroll retired and Dr Quinton seamlessly took over. Exams are thorough with excellent explanations and the office staff is great about helping with ordering contacts and fitting glasses. Recently 45 min before closing I had something in my eye that was extremely painful. I called and they said to come right over. Dr. Sorensen was calm but relentless in getting to the bottom of what was causing the pain, discovering a small particle way up under my eyelid. He removed it, ordered a prescription for eye drops and I was gratefully on my way to relief. I highly recommend Henderson Vision Care!

The place was super clean, and Sci-Fi like tech everywhere thought I was in a Star Wars flick! The staff was very
Friendly and knowledgeable, which confirmed I made a good choice to get my eyes checked. And Dr. Sorenson had the best cheery attitude , as also did Dr. Quentin, they are the only two, of the four Optometrists that I met.
The techs who do the prep work running tests and taking pictures of the eye were also the Bomb!

Always a pleasant experience when I get my eyes examined. The initial exams were done by a very friendly and happy young gal. Dr. Rath always gives me the time I need and explains things. I have a cataract in my one eye and I’m going to need a lens replacement. But I have a great anxiety over having that procedure (I know, all my friends and many family members have said it’s super easy). We are going to try to “buy” me another year or two with a new prescription. And Dr. Rath, explained the procedure to me and made me feel a little better about it in my near future. Since I have been purchasing my glasses there, I’ve never had an issue with them being done correctly. First time ever, I finally had accurate prescription and glasses, was when I started going to this office in 2014. Thank you!! (Whoever answers phone is alway super friendly too!)

I tend to be a tough critic when it comes to service providers. I've had excellent eye doctors in other cities. Dr. Sorensen is unequivocally at the top of the list. What I really appreciate about him is the initiative he takes to explain any eye troubles. Whereas with most doctors you have to ask questions to pry answers out of them, Dr. Sorensen readily provides you with the background info and recommended next steps in perfect detail. I went to this facility as a new patient who got LASIK and wanted to (1) check on my eye health, (2) get anti glare glasses without prescription for night driving due to increased brightness sensitivity, and (3) evaluate the right base and diameter measurements for aesthetic contact lens (without prescription - so I can ensure I buy the right sized lens from other vendors).

The staff are very friendly and informative. Dr. Doyle was elaborative when it came to my questions and attentively listened when I expressed concerns and comments. He also gave me a free sample of a new type of Refresh Optive drops for my dry eyes. One of the staffs, Monica, helped me with the frame picking and walked me through the final process before I closed out - great person to communicate with.

In addition, the machine they used as part of the eye vision exam (in place of dilation) was only $40 out of pocket (which is not bad compared to the $60-70+ in other providers I’ve visited in the past).

If I had to nitpick anything, I felt that I had to wait a little longer than usual, but I think that’s just the nature of being a new patient and the staff accommodating others. Everything else went great, and I’ll return next year.

What a terrific organization !!!!!! Totally great experience and wonderful stuff !!!!! Dr.Quinton is caring and his assistant BRITTNEY is also amazing. Admin staff is poorly informed and outrageously disrespectful. Their phone lady kept demanding insurance information even after admitting they don't take insurance for Ortho K. Swore at me when I suggested she was mistaken about how fittings worked. Seems like a front for insurance fraud, not a real eye clinic.

I had a routine-appointment yesterday with Dr. Rath along with a follow up concerning a couple of underlying conditions. Dr. Rath spent about 45 minutes with me and the majority of the time he spent with me was discussing my underlying conditions, some over-the-counter solutions as well as future surgical solutions. He was a wealth of information and made me feel like I was a priority. Following my visit with Dr. Rath I met with Jonathon who discussed with me my options for lenses. I need my lenses in very short order due to an upcoming trip so he assured me that he’ll do everything he can to get the lenses as quickly as possible. Great customer service!

I’ve been going to Henderson Vision Care now for about six or seven years and have nothing but fantastic things to say about them.

Fantastic experience. I came in with my older brother who is Autistic for an eye exam with Dr. Sorensen. Both he and the tech who helped with some parts of the exam were so patient and caring with my brother. They took plenty of time to explain everything in great detail and make him feel comfortable. I am going to to change eye doctors and come here for myself. Highly recommend this doctor.

Dr Quentin is the best. He’s very thorough and has the most up to date equipment. We’ve gone to him for over 20 years and we wouldn’t have anyone else! This time I needed a referral for a retinal specialist so I trust him to know when I need additional care. All of our family goes to him and none of us have ever had a concern that he hasn’t done his best for us.
