From the second you arrive until the time you depart you are treated professionally and cheerfully. The receptionist sets the tone and she was highly efficient and her smile lights up the room. This place makes you like going to the dentist! The staff is kind and the office is clean and welcoming. I had minor dental work but did all of it at one time and the dental hygenist made sure I was comfortable the whole time and Dr. Schmitt was communicative and did a wonderful job on my teeth. I hadn’t been to the dentist in many many years. Just decided I should finally get a cleaning. I filled out the form online, they contacted me the next work day and was able to get setup for an appointment. It was just supposed to be an X-ray and exam but when I arrived the hygienist had an opening so I took that as well. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and kind. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room either of my two visits, I had to go back to get some fillings. I have zero bad things to say about my experience here. The dentist explained things thoroughly before and during procedures. The hygienist was very thorough in the cleaning and didn’t assault my gums while flossing my teeth. She worked the floss in instead of just ramming it in there like previous hygienists have done. She got all the stains from smoking off and even got some glue residue off my teeth that had been there since I got my braces off. 10/10 on the whole office and experience I will come back here.

Update: I came back for my cleaning after 6 months and this review still stands. Im sorry I can’t remember her name I wanna say Michelle but it might be Melissa , but regardless the hygienist is still great and I had another great experience here.

I really enjoyed my first time visit to this new Dentist office. I honestly can’t think of another time at a dentist office I can say that !!! They were very empathetic and pleasant in explaining my options to my dental care . I can’t say enough about the staff too just excellent!! I just recently had an emergency with my tooth cracking. I have pretty bad dental anxiety, but Dr. Schmitt made me feel so much more comfortable from the moment I met her. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and was incredibly kind and reassuring throughout the entire process.

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin with this absolutely amazing dental office. A couple days ago, I began experiencing severe pain on the lower right side of my mouth. I had thought I flossed a little too hard, but it got worse and then the fevers began. I went to another emergency dental office and couldn't afford their outrageously high prices (even with insurance).
Instead, I got antibiotics and decided to wait it out. I then found Horizon Ridge and read all the amazing reviews about the staff and practice. I'm so glad I trusted those reviews because I had the best experience here, and one I can call the best dental experience of my life.

The receptionists are so kind and helpful. From their willingness to help, provide a friendly frontend service, to finding out insurance information, they were always so pleasant to deal with. I wish I got their names to shout them out, but I didn't. Still, they were both amazing.

Next, the dental assistant was stellar. Again, I didn't get his name, but he was so funny and charismatic. I feel the staff is not only trained in dental knowledge, but also helping ease any anxiety a patient may have. He was genuinely so kind and caring. It made waiting much more pleasant.

Lastly, Dr. Schmidt is such an amazing doctor. I can't say enough good things about her. You can really tell when someone is passionate about their work. Every dentist I've ever been to in my 30+ years never really cared to make a connection but she goes the extra mile to, and that gesture alone keeps clients coming back. I fully trust her and her staff to look after my teeth for many years to come. I told my husband that he also needs to come here because we've both had bad experiences in the past. Even the pricing is reasonable and very affordable. With or without insurance.

Hi had my teeth cleaned by Mellisa and she did a great job! She took her time, explained each step and did a thorough cleaning. If I had questions or teeth concerns she answered them and also suggested I use a water pick to help at the gum line where I have an implant. Been coming here for a couple years now. They are always so friendly and actually remember who you are. I never have a hard time finding parking. Scheduling is a breeze, but make sure you schedule in advance especially for cleanings because they get busy. The facility is always clean, they offer customers coffee in the waiting room, and Netflix while they’re working on you. They aim to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe.

I have been to many dentists. The dentist here at Horizon Ridge figured everything out that I have been needing for about 15 years. Things going on in my mouth that I didn't even know. I feel like I can really trust this place.
Review update. I recently had my implant fall out at a bad time. I was in pain and the VA was closed for a holiday. I texted HD and within a minute they wrote me back and got me in ASAP! This kind of treatment doesn't really happen in the real world anymore. They were beyond polite and took great care of me. The head dentist is very remarkable and good at her craft. If I could give them more than five stars I would.

Dr. Schmidt came highly recommended after I had a bad experience at another dental practice. I left the other practice in shock being told I needed an implant, multiple crowns, special deep cleaning and that I had a major gum infection. I also have severe anxiety going to the dentist. What a WONDERFUL office, dentist and staff!! I have been going to Dr Schmitt for over 10 years and she has made going to the dentist something to not put off or dread. She is always smiling, calm, friendly and very very knowledgeable. I trust her advice 100% when it comes to my, my husbands and now my toddlers teeth. Her and her staff care about the patient as a whole person not just as another set of teeth.

Dr. Schmitt, her facility and her techs are the best! Always pleasant, always professional. I enjoy the tools and equipment and practices are all the best in the market. I have been to places that are still using older equipment and techniques. Not the same. These guys are quick and to the point maintaining the friendly atmosphere to help you relax. They have never tried to upsale me or push me in any direction, I didn't want to go.
Most all our family goes here and will as long as they are around.

The best dental experience of my entire life. Horizon Ridge Dental has the most caring, patient, and genuinely kind staff I’ve ever met. I walked in terrified, and they made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I had a root canal that developed over the weekend and although they’re closed on the weekend, Mindy reached out and set an appointment for me on Monday morning. I had gone through excruciating pain over the weekend. I’m so grateful thankful and blessed To have Dr. Joanna Schmitt remove the nerve Monday morning to relieve my pain and then came back on Wednesday to complete the whole root canal process. She was extremely thorough and removing all the decayed Nerve and tissue Thoroughly cleaned the area out before sealing it. Dr. Schmidt’s very thorough, warm and sensitive I couldn’t ask for Better Dentist to handle a very painful weekend

Dr Schmitt was so helpful and caring. She explained every detail of my scans and x-ray in understanding the procedure for implant. And also explained what was best for me. She also understood my health issues and concerns but she put me at ease of my feelings. Mindy who took x-rays was also very nice and friendly. I live in the far northwest but I am totally fine with that. Worth the drive to find someone you can trust and care for my best interest!! ❤️❤️

From the front desk to the assistants beside the Dr are all incredible! You are treated with genuine respect, as a human and not a dollar sign, and most of all the comfort level you can ever feel sitting in a dentist chair. Let's not forget Dr Schmitt! Overall I enjoy going to this dentist. The office staff are very nice, the hygienist is nice, as well as the doctor. My one complaint is how rough they are with your teeth. I come home and have to take ibuprofen for the pain and swelling. I have great teeth with minimal plaque accumulation but I still come home hurting and the pain lasts about 2 day.
