I’m a physician and I trust Dr. Damaj. He has treated me with cutting edge, evidence-based therapy that has helped me recover quickly. He is also very kind, remembers his patients well, and is thoughtful with his management.
I highly recommend him to any potential patient.

Our family feels very blessed to have found Dr. Damaj here in Las Vegas. He is an amazing doctor who truly cares about his patients.
Even when the clinic is busy, the staff always tries their best to fit us into the schedule when someone in our family is not feeling well. We really appreciate that. Of course, like any busy office, there may be times when things are delayed or a call back takes longer, but the staff works hard and always treats us with kindness.
Overall, our family is very grateful for Dr. Damaj and his wonderful team. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Love Dr Damaj! He is worth the wait. Very kind, caring and is invested in the care he gives. If you listen the phones tell you how many callers are ahead of you. Hang up and try back later or leave a message. I have always gotten a call back or my prescriptions called in. Good things come to those who wait.

The BEST doctor in Vegas. I don’t trust doctors out here and I’m soooo GRATEFUL that I found Dr. Damaj. He is the only doctor I trust and feel like he actually cares about his patients. That is hard to come by these days. Ive been going to him for a years now and feel like I won the lotto. The office staff is great too. Health is wealth having a doctor you feel confident in is EVERYTHING.

10 years with Dr. Damaj & my husband and I will never voluntarily leave his care. Yes, the phone wait time is long - that's because he's excellent, thus busy. But the office answers every single call & more importantly, they handle what you called for 100% of the time. The Valley would be very well served to have more primary care providers with his skill, compassion & dedication to his patients.

I definitely do not recommend this place. I had an appointment a month and a half ago and still nobody has called or said anything about my last appointment. It's super hard to get a hold of anyone. I finally got a hold of someone and they said the Dr. Would be calling me about results. Well that was 4 weeks ago. Waste of time, money and effort. Very sad honestly

Run!!!!! Worst staff ever!! The Dr seems like a great knowledgeable guy! The People in the front desk Suck!!! I been waiting 2 weeks for a prescription approval. Call and you’ll be and hold for an hour , just for them to forward your call to voicemail. Imagine if you guys needed medicine ASAP, you’d be dead dealing with this office. The guy who does answer the phones just sits in the front and gossips all day with the young lady at the reception desk. Worst staff ever!!!! Your Life isn’t worth it.

I have been a patient w/Dr Damaj since 2008. He is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He’s attentive & cares about his patients. If there’s an emergency, the office & staff do everything they can to fit you in same day. They do call back if you need them. I’ve recommended several people to Dr Damaj & are pleased w/his quality of care he provides. The staff are always pleasant & professional. I would recommend this Dr to anyone & everyone if their Dr isn’t providing the care & need they deserve.

Exceptional PCP - by any metric in any state. We've been patients of Dr. Damaj for 10 yrs. He is amazing - attentive, sharp, tracks our general health with impressive accuracy. And he does it with grace, warm, non-judgmental bedside manner & laugher. Those who opt to provide poor reviews for wait time - shame on you. Dr. Damaj is very busy because he's very good & spends quality time with his patients. Yes, I too have to wait in the office, on hold - but that is not a reflection of his medical qualifications. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr is great but the staff isn’t. It takes forever to get out of there. They obviously overbook every day. 3:00 appointment they don’t even call your name till 3:40 then you sit in the examination room for another 30 to 40 minutes. Mysterious balance keep popping up whether you have insurance or not.

Dr Damaj is wonderful. He is personable and takes the time to sit down and listen to what's going on. He doesn't just fly in and out of the room to get to his next patient like a lot of other doctors do. His staff is typically very friendly and on top of it.

Worst GP office hands down.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Damaj for about 15 years. But I recently decided that my mental health, and stress level from dealing with his office is not worth my health.
First off they never return emails, second they don’t return phone calls, thirdly nobody will take responsibility for providing medical records.
I asked for these in an email and they have not been provided. I called to inquire about my medical records being sent to a new GP and I was told that it’s $.60 per page and that it takes up to 60 days.
Dealing with his office is like pulling teeth.

I saw nurse practitioner Anasta Go. She was great! Very very helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and recommended for testing to be done. She even advised me of a diet to follow while we waited for testing and results. Something that a doctor at another practice did not care to listen to. I had test done on a Wednesday and was called with results that Friday. Prescription was sent over that same day. Very thankful to have found a practice that truly cares about their patients.

Dr. Damaj runs a first-rate practice. It's high-volume so yes, there's often a decent wait time, but when he's in the room with you, you realize why - he listens to you. He doesn't just write you a script & send you down the road.
My husband & I have been seeing him as our PCP for years and are grateful we found him. Finding a GOOD PCP in this town is a Herculean feat. There have been exceptions over the years, but by & large, his staff is excellent. They return calls, call in scripts properly & promptly, no billing issues (none of the common BS you experience w high-volume practices)..
Dr. Damaj has a genuine, palpable desire to help his patients. Too rare in our medical community.

I love Dr. Damaj. He cares, is a great doctor and gives you all the time that you need when he treats you. Unfortunately most of the time I am disappointed when I see Dr. Damaj he is a good doctor when he takes down notes and gives it to the girls so they can take care of it too many mistakes have been made or medicine getting x-rays done wrong order . Ask for a copy of my bloodwork did not get it call back two times to make sure they correct it it has not been corrected yet so I’m still waiting not good. And the reason or for the mistakes included the doctor and the girls try to move the patients out quick as they can when they do that’s where they make their mistakes that could be very dangerous.

Dr Damaj is an excellent Doctor unfortunately his staff isn’t very reliable. Messages, prescriptions, referrals, call backs, nothing ever gets completed unless you are constantly calling them to remind them and even then I’ve had medications that never got filled. The only reason I stay is because he is a great doctor but if this continues I might have to look for another doctor, his office needs much better management, customer service and follow ups.

Dr Damaj is amazing and I have no issue with him. My issue is with their front office staff. I've been trying to get a copy of my medical records for weeks for a disability claim. Several emails, several phone calls and even walked into their office and I have still not heard anything back other than "we'll check into it." I've now had to schedule an appointment with Dr Dimaj so that I can go into his office again and ask him personally what I need to do in order to get a copy of my medical records.

One of the previous reviews was dead on. In one instance I waited an hour before being seen so not sure if they are overbooking. Also...true in that sometimes I feel it would be faster to drive the 30 minutes there to ask my question direct than to wait on perpetual hold.
Is this modern day medicine? My expectations are pretty low to make me happy....like be seen within 15-30 minutes of appt time and a human voice within 15 minutes of a call. If my PA I see , Kellie Fink, wasn't so awesome I would of left.

Dr. Damaj will rarely respond, and you will see Nurse Practitioner Kelly. The practice seems knowledgeable, but reaching them is difficult. It just does not cost much money to have 1) an efficient switchboard, and 2) hire enough staff to return calls.
Expect to spend upwards of an hour, for several times, to get through. This doctor needs to increase the size of his staff.

Dr. Damaj is nice, but seems like he tries to rush you out of your appointment because he’s too busy. I’ve been on hold now this time for one hour and ten mins so far. I see Dr. Damaj and never really had any issues except with being on hold FOREVER. BUT NOW, I had blood wrk done and an X-ray of my chest. After 2 weeks past, I herd nothing from their office about my results I decided to call and ask. After being on hold for over 40min, I asked the girl if I can have my results. She advised me she didn't have the results because Dr. Damaj hasn't went over them yet. Are you serious!? They've had the results for a week and have yet to go over them!? My daughter sees Dr. Damaj and no one ever answers the phone nor do they fill out and fax proper forms needed by the patient. They also do not let the patient actually see the Doctor. She has had bronchitis for three weeks and although in office breathing treatments work the DO's say they can't prescribe til she sees a speciatlist So she has had to pay for two emergency rooms and one quick care which costs her extra money and her job keeps sending her home because she can't breathe. When I called for her because she was so sick they left me on the phone for 40 minutes without ever answering. She needs her FMLA Papers faxed but the staff won't send them over and have not returned calls since Wednesday

Just signed up for this office Im not even on my 2nd visit yet. You can’t call this place without being on hold for a hour. When you call your giving a caller number. Once you get to caller one they answer the phone and put you right back on hold. The staff at this place sucks and they don’t care about they jobs .when you do get someone on the phone they sound very unhappy to be there and to help. I called in today 7/15/2019 explained to the lady other doctors office was calling to obtain an authorization. She said let me find out what’s going on with a bad tone. Put me on hold and went to lunch.

Don't allow the negative stories to influence you about Dr Damajs' practice. He is a great internal medicine doctor and his staff try their very best every day to help people.
That being said, his practice is VERY busy, probably due to his popularity, which can be a negative to the patient. His waiting room is painfully undersized; if you are waiting to be seen you should expect to be sitting in close proximity to many sick people!
And his staff is SO BUSY that it's sometimes difficult to get them on the phone, one look through the glass tells you these people are somewhat overwhelmed with the volume of patients and phone calls.
If not for the pitifully small waiting room I would give 5 starts in a heartbeat.

Dr. Damaj came as a referral to me almost 5 years ago. An absolutely nightmare to speak with anyone over the phone. I've called many, many many times to speak with someone and always had someone "not in the mood" to speak with me or felt rushed off the phone. When I was in the the office waiting to be seen, I did have to wait past the normal time (give or take 30+ extra minutes). Kind of felt like a herd of cattle being rounded up and the pushed out the door one by one. When I did see the doctor, it was really quick (5 minutes, maybe less). After 3+ years... I still don't know what's wrong with me (I've been referred out more time than I can count). You'd expect that when you went to a doctor, that you would be seen, listened to and help diagnose and treat the illness. In this case, I felt more like a $$$ sign on my head. Don't get me wrong, Damaj was extremely nice to speak with and very friendly, but that can't make up for everything else wrong because in the long run... the doctors are controlling the office and the actions inside it.

While Dr. Damaj and the nurses are very nice, the support staff, or girls who man the front desk, are entirely incompentent and rude. On average, it takes me four phone call attempts and an hour to get through on the phone. It is actually faster for me to make the 30 minute drive to the office to ask my question, than it is to just call.
In regards to actual appointments, Dr. Damaj's appointments are so poorly scheduled that on average the wait to see him is 45 minutes to an hour, AFTER your scheduled appointment time. If your appointment is at 9, you won't see him until 9:45 or 10.
Once you are in the room, you feel rushed. The nurses are literally running in and out of rooms and you are lucky to get more than five minutes with Dr. Damaj. He listens, but doesn't have the time to troubleshoot or ask questions. Often, I feel like I tell him what I have and he accepts and prescribes based on it!

Dr. Damaj was very nice but the staff was extremely terrible and totally unprofessional. They could never be reached by phone. I was put on hold forever. But once some one picked up, what I got was arrogance and rudeness. I was supposed to have a follow-up blood test after they put me on this drug for months. While they made me take the drug, I could not reach them via phone to make an appointment. No one ever called me back since. They literally dumped me. It’s a TERRIBLE and CARELESS place. I really want to give them a negative star. They don't deserve my star at all. I would question the ethical standards of this place. You can’t put your patients on a prescription and never care about the progress or next steps. I should have reported them to The Ethics Committee.

I have been a patient of of Dr. Damaj for almost 3 years, and my interaction with him has been EXCELLENT. The only reason for the lower score is his support staff is very poor. Follow ups are non existent, and I have had frequent calls returned to me for follow ups, prescriptions and additional treatment that was NOT INTENDED for ME, but an entirely different person. They do not follow standard HIPPA practice routinely checking your birth date. The Nurse staff is excellent, but as I said the support staff is awful. My insurance has changed, and I have to seek a different Dr, but if his support staff gets their ducks in a row the visit can be very good.
