October 12, 2026 was my first visit to Dr Hudson family dental. I had such a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I met with Dr. Hudson who has beautiful white teeth and a caring personality. He was very professional and attentive to my needs which are Dentures . He explained to me any of my concerns and continued to ask if I have any questions. Once my dentures are done, I will post a picture.

I have to give a special shoutout to my amazing hygienist, who quite literally saved my life. During a routine visit, she noticed a cyst in my jaw on the X-rays that I hadn’t known about. If I could rate Dr. Hudson and his team more than 5 stars, I would. Every visit has been a positive experience. Once you walk through the clean clinic. Ms Staci at the front always greets everyone with a smile and ask how everyone how they been. Dr. Hudson and team ( sorry I don’t remember everyone’s names) are all friendly. Our last visit with my kids was to get our annual cleaning done and we have been going with Sonia and Janice! The kids always have a good time talking to and laughing with Janice and Sonia :) Also, we love how they are both knowledgeable by teaching us about proper dental cleaning and how gentle they are when they work on our teeth. We’ve been to other clinics in town and sometimes it makes the kiddos nervous to go get their teeth cleaned but not mine when they go to Hudson Dental! I did not have a great experience at this dental practice. They were not prepared for my first appointment and made me come back two days later to do a scan that I was told would happen at the first appointment.

Only at this second appointment was I informed that the dentist wanted to charge me $1000 to take over my Invisalign case and that I would be refunded any money not spent. When I finally spoke to the business manager I was told the dentist “misspoke” and that there would be no refunds.

I’m sure they are a great dental practice for some however my experience was quite disappointing and I find their business tactics questionable.

Hudson Family Dental has been my three-year-old daughter’s dentist since she turned one years old. I couldn’t recommend them any more highly for children. I have been coming to Jackie for 15 years. I even followed her from her previous practice. Jackie is very thorough when cleaning my teeth and giving me advice when I need to change something up. I could write a memoir entailing how negative my experience was, but I'll just hit y'all with the important highlights...
The facts: 1. Didn't seal a filling that had to be re-done in another office, 2. Missed a root canal and covered with a temporary crown, 3. Ignored symptoms about tooth and proceeded with permanent crown, which ended up falling off, 4. Stated things in record that did not align with experience.
As for observational things, nothing really out of the ordinary aside from everyone there being more interested in what was on television than concerned with working on my mouth. Considering the patient is on their back 90% of the time they're in the exam room, it's apparent the TV isn't intended for people forced to stare at the ceiling. Especially when the employees are having a discussion about what they're watching while working on the patient.

Had a crown re-Cemented. It fell off a few hours later. They were kind enough to take me back in to fix it. I noticed the floor was dirty and I told the assistant that it needed cleaning. She said the cleaning crew comes in once a week. I suggested the floors should be cleaned daily.

I recently had a crown replacement done at Hudson Family Dental and was very pleased with the service I received from start to finish. I’ve had my teeth cleaned at Hudson Family Dental for many years by Jaclyn, who always does an amazing job, but this was the first time I’ve needed to have another dental procedure done there. They were able to get me in the day after my original (very old) crown broke to get the procedure started. They explained everything clearly and took the time to answer my questions. I had the new crown put on yesterday and it fits perfectly. I greatly appreciate the professionalism of Dr Hudson and all his staff.

I’ve been a patient at Dr. Hudson’s office since he opened. I’ve seen most of the Hygenist there and they all do such a great job. Recently, I made the decision at my last cleaning to finally have some fillings on the top replaced. These are very old and they’ve needed it for sometime, but I just kept putting it off. These are the last cavities I had in middle school so it’s been a long time since I’ve been numb or had any dental work like this done. I had my appointment today and everything went great. I know a lot of people are not fans of getting dental work done, but sometimes you just have to, it’s nice to have an office where you feel comfortable. I was at Hudson Family Dentist in December 2025 for a cleaning. I had been there a few years ago for cleaning but I didn't have any insurance. So in Dec 2025 I had my teeth cleaned and an exam because I finally had insurance through Medicare. I was told I had periodontal disease. Mind you in the past 10 months I have been seeing a Prosthodonist ( they have an extra 3 years of education and restore teeth that a general dentist would not have the knowledge to do) and I have had in total 15 new crowns done.( I also went to school to become a Dental Assistant.) I booked an appt to get another cleaning with Hudson for 3 months later. The day of the cleaning I received a text from their office that I would have to pay $180 for a periodontal treatment. I told them no I don't want to do that because I don't need it. So they insisted they would only see me if I had deep scaling done on my gums so they cancelled my appointment saying that I had gum disease and bone loss.They said I needed #14 and #15, lower left 19-21 and full quad lower right. So today I went to my Prosthodonist and had a cleaning and gum pockets checked. She showed me my xrays and said I have good bones no bone loss and my gum pockets are 1's, 2's and a couple of 3's. My Prosthodonist told me I DO NOT have periodontal disease or bone loss.So be careful if you have insurance!! IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO DO A PERIODONTAL TREATMENT UNTIL YOUR GUMS ARE AT 4'S AND ABOVE!! So because I have insurance now, they wanted to take advantage of my insurance and bill them for an unnecessary gum treatment that could do harm to my gums and teeth. If they tell you you need gum treatment or you have periodontal disease, get a second opinion!!!! Oh and they sent me a letter that they don't want to treat me anymore going forward...lol. I guess they don't like people that have some experience in the dental field...lol

My first impression with Hudson Family Dental was a positive one. Admittedly I am very apprehensive when it comes to dental care. However, the office is clean and welcoming. They got my Dad in a few hours after I called. Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful. Dr Hudson took the time to speak to my Dad about all of his options and answered all of our questions. I’ve been to a few dentists across the Las Vegas valley and I was not impressed, surprisingly I feel like for being a city know for hospitality you would think the hospitality would flow through in the medical and dental field and I’ll tell you that absolutely not the case. But at Hudson it is, after a bad experience this past year at another dental office I decided to read up on the reviews and do some research for this location. I was impressed and after today I can see why.

I called last month and made an appointment they were able to schedule me for the following week Thursday but I ended up getting strep throat and had to cancel I was then rescheduled for April 29th, someone from their office was nice enough to send texts for spots that opened sooner but it didn’t align with my schedule. But I got another text that did and we re scheduled for Monday April 20th,2026 at 11am, I filled out all my paperwork online and arrived 15 minutes early.

I was greeted by a kind older woman at the front desk who check me in and advised that I would be paying $20 for pictures, I was grateful for how forward she was, I was called back at exactly 11,
Michael did my X-rays and Jen was my dental hygienist and she was amazing!! I explained my concerns and she walked me through all that she was going to be doing, I felt very comfortable. She did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, let’s just say it was badly needed. So Jen thank you for your patience.

After the cleaning Dr.Hudson came in and took a look after hearing his recommendations I’m glad they aligned with what I was looking to do, which was first a deep clean then a referral for the oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth extracted and the orthodontist later for Invisalign. I did a fluoride treatment on my teeth and Jen walked me to schedualing .

There they had my price sheet already filled out after what the insurance covers, I was able to schedule my deep cleaning appointments, I’m grateful for their organization as well as not expecting all the money upfront, they break it up into payments and with the economy now that’s amazing, paying for dental work shouldn’t be a burden. I’m excited to get my teeth beautiful and can’t wait to continue to visit here.

When it came time for me to find a new dentist, I did a lot of research. But my search stopped when I reached out to Dr. Hudson's office. The way I was greeted from my first interaction with Stacy, my decision was made. It had been a while since I had been to the dentist and I was a little embarrassed by that. But the dental hygienist Jackie never once judged me. I don't have a fear of the dentist. I have a fear of the price you pay for going to the dentist. Not once has Dr. Hudson suggested any dental work that was not necessary. His entire office is very calm and soothing and I love it that he allows his staff to be themselves. I want to say that Jennifer, the dental hygienist at Hudson Family Dental, gave me the most thorough and educational cleaning I've had in more than 5 years. Although I brushed, flossed and went in for cleanings twice a year, I received low quality care elsewhere, which resulted in gum and bone loss.
I had the knowledge and still received sub standard care. After working in the dental field for 40 years, this is my advice. Do your homework and ask questions. The hygienist should: 1) check for gum loss. 2) check for loose teeth. 3) check for wear and tear of your teeth. 4) educate you on proper care. 5) do a detailed, complete cleaning of all your teeth.
If the hygienist does not do this, find a hygienist that does!!

Had my cleaning today by Amanda, and as usual it was a great experience. I have only seen Amanda for the last 6 years and even changed my dentist when she moved over to Hudson Family. Amanda is a perfectionist, and always makes me comfortable coming to the dentist. Hudson family dentist office has a super friendly staff! Dr. Hudson is very genuine and I never feel pressured into extra services.
Dr. Hudson suggested a mouth guard device to help with sleep apnea. I told him I’ve gone untreated, because I didn’t want to use a mask at night. He ran a sleep test with me, and I decided to get the mouth guard! It has greatly increased my quality of life! I feel more rested, I have way more energy, and all I have to do is use essentially something similar to my retainer I was using anyway. Came into office for a cleaning, my experience was completely horrible… Amanda who did my cleaning, sure she was fast, but the moment it came to doing my blood pressure, the machine wasn’t working, when I ask if we can wait since, she kept pushing to take it and it read 160/120 and she wasn’t helpful, during the cleaning process I get it water splashing every now and then but during the process of it all I kept getting my face wet and hair wet and it clearly wasn’t funny whatsoever this is by far the worst experience I’ve had coming here and will not be wanting her to do my cleaning again. She blamed the machine was very powerful so that’s why it kept happening, which it appeared she was doing it on purpose. Either way this left a horrible taste in my mouth.
