Dr Hugh is wonderful professional. 🥇He pass security to us with compassion. I was so impressive. He was able to identify and explain in details my cervical issue. I have to remove hernia disc and he comfort the patient and do not impose anything. He guide us , give the options and we decide. His Team are like angels: Kameron, Nancy and Maddy. They are so patient and kind. I feel confident because I have a cervical surgery and I’m in touch with Maddy through text message all time. I’m feeling in God’s hands.🙏🙌

It was my first visit with a specialist since I moved to Nevada.
My neighbor had rotor cup surgery and did physical rehabilitation at DOC and highly recommended this practice to me.
I was very impressed with Dr Bassewitz.
I have spinal stenosis and intermittently have excruciating pain on right side and leg where I cannot walk without a cane and can't stand to put any weight on my right leg.
The doctor is sending me to physical therapy treatments for a month and then will re-evaluate my condition. The next step will be to get an epidural injection if my pain worsens.
Surgery options will be the last option after all other treatments are tried.
I really like Dr Bassewitz . He is so professional and caring and listens to all my concerns and complaints, answered all my questions patiently, and did not rush me.
I feel he truly cares about his patients and I am so glad I picked him.

Dr. Bassewitz took his time to explain what was going on and why it might happen. Even though I felt I might be wasting his time, he was patient, kind and non-judgemental. He ensures that you understand the discussion and that you are on board with the treatment plan at all times and has a friendly and relaxing demeanor. I won't hesitate to go see him again if needed...but I hope that isn't the case!

I'll absolutely go back to him if things get worse. I've seen another back ortho (well, the PA who was playing messenger. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind seeing a PA, but when they're going back and forth between me and the doc, that's a sign to me) in town who was absolutely no help, just wanted to send me to physical therapy.
Saw Dr. Bassewitz, and right away he saw that I had an issue with a vertebrae defect. Said we *could* do physical therapy, and he *could* write an rx for a 25 hour anti-inflammatory, but suggested I change my workout routine first and see how that helps. Warned that I'll likely need surgery *eventually*, but I'll be the one to determine when.
I really appreciate that he didn't go straight to PT or an RX, took the appropriate x-rays from the get go, offered ways to help before other routes, and set expectations for long term. Will absolutely recommend for anyone with back issues!

He is awesome! When I go to see General physicians they think I'm a drug seeker and dismiss me. He doesn't doubt my problem. He is doing everything he can to figure out why I have the pain I do. He actually listens and I feel deep respect and thanks that he cares about my issues.
