I am not a frequent reviewer.. I tend to only review when it's really good or really bad. Let me start by saying that we had high hopes for this facility, and looking at their name makes one visualize a highly specialized program for rehabilitation. Our son was there for several weeks this year and in that short time he got a urinary tract infection, tested positive for MRSA in his tracheostomy tube, was left uncovered for hours after a shower with a body temperature of 92 degrees when we walked in, and the next thing was that when we arrived to see him on a subsequent day, we were informed that he had a fever of 105--and was not taken to a doctor or hospital.. he was having seizures, which they told us were NOT seizures and we hoped that he would recover, as we were told prior to him going there that it was the only facility in Las Vegas for kids. A few days later he opened his eyes and there was definitely something different.. damage was there. On another day, we discovered a huge sore on his head, which they claimed was dandruff/yeast buildup.. when we saw the doctor we demanded that our son go to the hospital and he refused to send him, until we said we were going to call 911 if that's what it took to get him to the hospital.. only then did he agree. When our son got to the hospital, he was immediately admitted and hospitalized for almost a month to treat his injuries, especially the pressure wound on his head which required a wound expert to treat. While at Sunrise hospital, we learned that there is one other facility for kids in Las Vegas, named Silver State Pediatrics and we immediately worked with the sunrise hospital staff to get our son transferred there. He has been at Silver State Pediatrics for 4 weeks now and has not had one problem. The staff genuinely treat him like their own son, whereas the other place was a Warehousing situation where most of the staff were on their phones constantly and ignoring the alarms going off in the rooms while kids were desating for 5-10 minutes.. I believe 100% that it should be closed down as a hazard to children's lives.. we will be reporting the facility to every possible place. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CHILDS LIFE! There are a few good staff there, but they are outweighed by the 'cover-up' mentality of the administration and doctor, who are committing 'care crimes' and doing everything possible to keep it all 'in-house'...

Funny how this place hasn't had a review in years.
Perhaps a bit of deleting is going on instead of talking care of the patients.
Never in my life would I recommend this horrific place.
I could go on and on. Post pics. But the list is incredibly long as to what is wrong with this place.
