I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Ramirez and will not be returning.

I came in to review recent blood work and discuss some health concerns. After waiting nearly two hours for my appointment, I expected a thorough conversation, but instead the visit felt rushed from the moment he walked into the room.

Throughout the appointment, I was doing my best to understand what was going on and was polite the entire time. However, whenever I asked questions, I felt like I was being treated as if I should already know the answers. He frequently used medical terminology without explaining it in a way that I could understand.

At one point, I asked why my white blood cell count was elevated. Instead of explaining it differently, he responded by saying, “That’s what we’ve been talking about for the last three minutes.” I told him I didn’t understand the medical terms and was simply trying to get clarification. Rather than helping me understand, he appeared annoyed and quickly moved on without really answering my question.

A doctor’s job is not only to diagnose but also to educate and communicate with patients. I left feeling rushed, dismissed, and no closer to understanding my health concerns than when I arrived.

Everyone else I interacted with that works at this office was kind, professional, and caring. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Ramirez was the complete opposite.

As someone who is born and raised in Las Vegas, I have always struggled finding a good primary care Dr. Dr. Richmond Ramirez is hands down the best primary care Dr I’ve been to. This was my first visit after trying to find a good family physician in this town for years, and I can’t say enough great things! I only waited about 15 minutes total between the waiting room and the room in the back. Everyone was so kind and professional, from check-in at the front desk to the nurse who was an absolute doll and took me back.
This office is A+. Dr. Ramirez was a breath of fresh air — extremely easy to talk to, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate about my needs. I’m so grateful I found Inspirada Primary Care.

Dr. Richmond Ramirez and his team are great. It was not easy finding a primary care physician in Las Vegas and this office was highly recommended to me by friends. Dr. Ramirez is extremely knowledgeable, explains things well, and takes his time answering all questions. His team is very quick to pick up the phone (unlike many other offices I’ve dealt with), is responsive, and quick to take care of my needs (like referrals or faxing over necessary forms). Not only is Dr. Ramirez and the whole team wonderful for medical care, but today I just had my first facial with Nieves at their Kutis Medical Aesthetics services side. She is so gentle and knowledgeable on the products she uses and explained what everything was since it was my very first facial. Henderson has been needing more quality medical providers, and this is the spot. I can’t say enough good things about this place!
Dr. Ramirez is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely caring.

How perfect a GP and Aesthetics all in one place, now I don’t have extra driving to feel better. I had a resurfacing facial (intense but amazing) and a few other treatments with exceptionally clean equipment in a warm office setting. The staff are kind and well-informed about my insurance. They explained coverage and services in detail which helped me feel comfortable to find exactly what works for me. My skin looks more youthful and I am way more confident.

I found this place through blue cross medical because it’s so hard to find primary care physicians in Nevada. First, after getting out of the hospital, Ramirez claimed that he would get all of my medical records to help out with the serious medical condition I had. He never did. Second, I had issues with getting my FMLA paperwork filled out, after PAYING all this money to see the Dr and pay for paperwork. I am now getting bill for? SMH. Can’t even see what they are charging me for 🙄. Have NOT EVEN BEEN BACK TO THIS OFFICE! Never will go back.

POSITIVE REVIEW ALERT!!!
**PSA: don’t let the negative reviews here spook you. I’ve read them and most times angry reviews come from mismanagement of and/or misunderstanding of the person’s health insurance carrier and what it does or does not cover, or will or will not require. A clinic can only process the proper copay or charge you correctly if they get the correct information.

THAT BEING SAID:
I am self-employed. I have been cash pay for YEARS (talking 9+ here) because I’ve detested Nevada’s absolute disgrace of a healthcare system where mistakes and miscommunication, lack of follow through, and bad customer service is common place. So I figured if I stayed cash pay, I could walk if I didn’t feel appreciated and pick who I wanted without worrying about the conundrum of insurance.

I finally got health insurance in Feb 2025 because I’m going through something that the cash-pay price is starting to become higher than what I deem acceptable. I had the opportunity to select Inspirada Primary Care as my PCP. The reason I did was I called 10 other offices (not even a slight exaggeration) that didn’t pick up the phone, had originally been auto-assigned a doctor over 30 minutes away, and when I called Dr. Ramirez’s office, a very kind and patient Philippine woman picked up and spoke with me and helped me schedule my first appointment with him. I received a check-in email later that day and was able to complete my entire check-in prior to showing up. They were the ONLY OFFICE who responded to me!!!

I run a business and it’s important to me to be heard, listened to, and feel like one of one instead of hundreds of patients being filed in and out of an office, rushed, billed, and sent out the door.

When I came in for my visit I was greeted kindly and seen within 10 minutes. Dr. Ramirez is down to earth, professional, and makes you feel like an instant friend. He started his practice because he saw that Las Vegas had a desperate need for a great PCP. He told me he was either going to open his own practice or move back east where things aren’t as deshoveled and complicated (my words not his). His demeanor is welcoming and his office uses an app to communicate with patients and uploads notes from each appointment.

When I left, I had new bloodwork ordered, the specialist referral I needed - and in addition, when I communicated with the office via the app when I had a question they got back to me within 1 hour AND left me a voicemail. They respond quickly and Dr. Ramirez is a no-BS efficient doctor that wants you to get the care you need. That’s what a PCP is supposed to do - to be your advocate and fight for you.

Side note, he supports and cares for the LGBTQ community, if that’s important to you. If this isn’t your thing, pick a different provider. That’s the great thing about living in a free country. I wouldn’t care if my doctor was Papa Smurf or the flying purple people eater- if they’re competent, I want them in my corner.

Jokes aside, Dr. Ramirez is your doc if you care about the intellect and competency of your doctor and want to feel like a human being who’s genuinely cared for, vs just another number and a file.

We are recent transplants to Nevada. We came from California where we enjoyed well-managed care with Kaiser Permanente.

I had read, and have had friends in Las Vegas tell me, that healthcare is a shit show and that getting care, especially primary care, is a challenge. Many people can't get appointments with doctors and wind up going to nurse practitioners. I have a number of medical issues and was not looking forward to starting at ground zero to establish healthcare.

When I started looking for doctors, that pretty much confirmed what I already knew. And what a pain it was, calling around town, asking if anyone was taking a new patients and if so, whether they would accept my insurance. Boy, did I miss having everything taken care of for us like it was when we had Kaiser.

But we lucked out when, of all places, I came across a post on Reddit about a doctor who was opening a new primary practice in Henderson. And that was what lead us to Inspirada Primary Care and Dr. Ramirez! My husband and I were able to get in right away, establish a relationship, and have our meds refilled, all under our new insurance. What a relief! We have since gone in for different visits and are able to get in right away.

Dr. Ramirez is kind, funny, and personable. His staff, Jeff, Deng, and Ryan, are always helpful and friendly. They moved heavens and earth on a Friday afternoon to get my insurance to approve a test so that I did not have to pay for it out of pocket. I can message Dr. Ramirez or the staff via their app or text, and they respond promptly.

We are grateful to have found an awesome new doctor in Vegas!

I looked through my network at Blue Cross Blue Shield. They were listed IN MY NETWORK as my nearest provider and found this place, so I decided to book an appointment online. Not only did I fill my information out in full, the office assistant called me to re-collect what I already submitted online.. Where did my information go?. I got a call today that they want to CHARGE AN EXTRA $150 ......for what? I am covered and IN NETWORK....my CO-PAY IS $30.... It's a cash grab/scam. These providers want to double dip into Insurance payment + Patient payment. This is not an admin fee this is a "Just incase you don't have insurance" when I am clearly covered....Also another weird thing was asking my sexual preferences... I never had a primary care physician ask this... Only my OB/GYN for obvious reasons, but a PRIMARY CARE. I've reported them for Fraud Waste and Abuse with NICB.

My husband and I are beyond pleased with the care that we've received from Dr. Richmond Ramirez at Inspirada Primary Care. Finding a primary care physician who understands the LGBT+ community was a critical need for us, and we hit the jackpot by finding Dr. Ramirez a few months ago. Why do we love him so much? Because he listens, asks great questions, and shows genuine care and concern for our overall wellbeing and health. He's not condescending like many doctors.
