I went in with Dr. Weiner to review a foot injury that I had suffered a few months prior. He sat down with me and explained it was more complicated than the simple injury (Charcot foot). He explained possible outcomes, causes, future complications etc. He is a straight to the point, no nonsense expert in his field. He is a professor who teaches other future doctors which is pretty impressive in my eyes. I heard of people coming from other cities to see him. His staff is fun, accommodating, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr Weiner performed two separate surgeries on me (putting me in an external fixture and removing it). Everyone in that office was so helpful and informative. They made the whole process easy and stress free. I could not recommend him and his staff enough.

I had the surgery that Weiner wouldn’t perform. I had no problems at all. Now in response to Rob Harvey I had been to the 1 doctor that referred me to this Weiner. The doctor and the aid were extremely rude. The aid was laughing! I don’t have any underlying health conditions and what he said to me was extremely rude! I can tell my review hit a nerve. Sometimes the truth hurts. Truth be told the doctor’s bedside manner and ponytail could both use some work. 🤣

Dr Weiner has to be the top podiatrist in this town. I had a plantar plate tear and had surgery in March. I was nervous about pain level, but there was very little pain and now here we are in April and I healed with barely a scar. Dr Weiner is very patient, thorough, and has a great bedside manner that you just don't see anymore. He has been around for awhile in this town and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It also has to be said his staff is amazing, from the front desk to the back. Look no further than this office because in my professional and personal opinion this office is the best.
Also if you have surgery pick north vista I had the best care with them.

I absolutely adore this man! People, get a grip, he's fun, humorous, and knows when it's time to get to business. I got lucky to meet him in the hospital, or I would have never known him. He had me smiling and sold in record time. I'll go as far as I need to go to get to his office. 1000% worth it. I don't care for cranky, uncaring doctors. You heal way better when you're happy to be there!

Due to a complication from a previous medical condition I developed a collapsed arch on my left foot. It looked more flipper-esque than a foot. The first doctor I saw out-right refused to help me. The second wanted to break both my foot and lower leg, reset and immobilize them with a HALO. The recovery from which would require an 8-9 month hospitalization. With both of those options being non-starters I saw Dr. Weiner as a third opinion in mid-September of 2025. My first impression of Dr. Weiner was that he was obviously very knowledgeable, very self-assured, and very forthright! He examined my flipper and told me that without corrective action, amputation of the extremity was in my future. He ordered 2 sets of X-rays the second one requiring me to play Twister with the machine to get the ordered views. Dr. Weiner then explained the cause of my deformity, how he will save the foot, and was very direct with the real possibility for complications. 3 of which being: I'm no longer a young man, neither am I athletic, but I do have some gravity to me (those were not the words he used 😉). He also explained that I will have a lack of mobility, there was a potential for healing to take longer than expected, and that I could re-injure myself.

He sent me home to research, talk with my wife, and decide what I wanted to do. Dr. Weiner's thorough explanation, complete assuredness that he could fix my deformity, and explanation of the recovery steps post-op made it relatively easy to agree to the procedure.

The surgery, casting and post-op hospitalization was accomplished without dramas or complications. Over the next 13 weeks I was seen in office 5 times to remove surgical staples, and to ensure the proper healing of the surgical incisions. During these visits I interacted with almost all of Dr. Weiner's staff. Every single one of his people are amazing! They are attentive, professional, and express a genuine concern for my healing and wellbeing! Over the past decade it's been my unfortunate pleasure to be under the care of quite a few doctors in the greater Las Vegas area, and, without reservation, I consider Dr. Weiner and his team to be the best in Nevada.

I'm now two weeks out of my cast and I was told to slowly put ~30% weight on my left foot. I'm not walking yet, but I can stand unassisted, my balance is back, my left foot points forward. The results so far exceed what was a very guarded hope that I could walk normally again.

Thank you Dr. Weiner for restoring my foot, my livelihood, and my quality of life!

P.s. In response to an earlier review, during pre-op visits Dr. Weiner was very direct about the risk factors and probable complications to the procedure, the healing and expected long term outcome. One could have taken that as an affront! I would rather that the doctor in whom I was entrusting my short term health and long term prognosis to leave nothing ambiguous.

Regarding Andreka's review, Dr Weiner was not harsh as he was being forthright and honest with the patient. While she does need surgery, her potential outcome had a good chance of failure. She had already been seen by several other doctors who would not due the surgery due to her comorbidities. The MA in the room was not laughing as she stated. Dr Weiner has the best interest in the patient as well as their outcome.

If I could give this Dr less than 1 star I would! I was referred to this surgeon for Haglund's syndrome in both feet saw this Dr for about 2 minutes the first time. He sent me for X-rays. Came back the second time with the xray and he told me yeah you need surgery but because I am a big girl he was trying to talk me out of surgery. He said the recovery would be bad because I am big. He actually told me to go buy some stripper heels. I left the office bawling. I haven’t ever felt so humiliated in my entire life.

After 2 visits I will be finding another doctor who actually gets off their butt and shows a real interest in solving problems and pain for a patient not prolonging issues to waste my time and money. I am new to Dr Weiner's office. He seems pretty good and knowledgeable. Takes the time to explain things to you in Layman's terms for those that are not educated in the medical field. So far my only complaint is this Gabby girl. I don't care how many times you call or how many messages you leave, before or after her vacation she will NOT call you back. I have a serious infection in my foot and have been trying to get Gabby to respond to Steinberg's request of needing more information on a WBC scan I need in order to move forward and see what can be done about my foot but getting her to answer, respond, call back is IMPOSSIBLE! It's been over 2 weeks since I have been asked to get this done by Dr Weiner. Tomorrow I have to physically go up to the office in order to try and fix things. Wish me luck! Hopefully I will be able to write a better review later.

I have been calling this office to schedule an appointment for over 4 months and no one calls you back. I have seen 3 other doctors in the mean time but I am told Dr. Ira Weiner is the only one who can help me. How frustrating this is dealing with this office, not even the courtesy of calling back. Dr. Weiner has performed 10 surgeries on my feet. Going in for another in 2 weeks. I am a food server and carry heavy trays in a very large restaurant. I am always back to work within weeks with no foot pain. He is absolutely the BEST!!!

Dr. Weiner is excellent! I have been putting off my much needed surgery for at least 2 years. I’ve been in so much pain, I could no longer walk. Then my primary care told me about Dr. Weiner, he had surgery scheduled. After he operated on my Primary care doctor, I saw for myself what a difference this made. I got the courage I needed to see Dr Weiner, I felt very comfortable and scheduled surgery. I’m walking again, something I never thought possible. I cant express my graditude in words. Thanks Doc.
