Dr. Dettlling is an excellent surgeon that cares. He repaired my knee multiple years ago and his skilled work still has me going strong. He recently repaired my wife's knee and she thrilled. Highly recommend!

Dr. James Dettling performed surgery on my right meniscus in March of 2022! I just knew since he has photos of so many Basketball, Football and other sport figures, I just knew that I was in the best of hands. After my surgery, I was in more pain than I was prior to my surgery. I tried to tell him about the pain, but he shut me down immediately, stating that he has a 100 percent success surgery rate.
Now it's 2026, and no one will touch me on W.C. I can barely bend my right knee, and now my left knee has become even worse putting weight on it, after losing 75 lbs. Do Not Let all the Athletes on his wall fool you. I received a bad botched job. Don't let Dr. Dettling touch you. Look for better options, and check reviews. I am 66 years old and have trouble walking, even after losing 75 lbs. I will have to use a walker for the rest of my life.

Amazing team of people!!!!! Patrick was on top of everything for 3 months. The doc makes you feel important and takes the time to explain stuff to you. I had a few issues with getting my meds, they sorted it all out. It really was smooth and it was all cause of the team work. Can't thank you guys enough.

What can I say negative about Dr. Dettling, NOTHING!!!!!
He has been amazing to me since the moment I met him. Being injured, in pain and traumatized by my fall, he was so comforting and assuring. Dr. Dettling did knee and shoulder surgery and did it with perfection. I did make a complaint about a member of his staff and he was receptive instead of being defensive. Thank you Dr. For taking such good care of me!!!!

Dr Dettling has been Fantastic Doctor about injury. I had back on December 23, 2019. First saw Dr. Dettling on 2020. He has been there for treatment, surgery, and everything! He's very understanding Doctor. I will recommend anyone! This doctor listens to you and he will find what's Best for you! Other than everything .. he's Fabulous doctor!! He should be doctor of the year for Las Vegas Nevada!!

Had rotator cuff surgery about 3 weeks ago. It's nice to have a Dr that actually listens to you and doesn't rush his visits. His staff is especially nice and always willing to help. They have made a painful experience into a pleasant one. Highly recommend.

Not sure why he takes workers comp cases if he will not give proper treatment. Must have thought i could not see his report sent to case manager. Absolutely lied about everything, was very defensive when asked any questions. Patients beware. I was fortunate enuf to see his lies before hand and canceled my scheduled surgery. I will be finding a different doctor immediately. Dr Dettling must think people on workers comp don't have a choice. Guess what? We do! Big thumbs down to his professionalism!! 👎👎👎👎👎

Had knee surgery w Dettling some yrs ago. Knee has always been worse than before the surgery. Swelling never went away afterward. Dr. Dettling told me AFTER the surgery that that was “normal”. So, if u get knee surgery from him be forewarned - u will apparently have swelling forever. It would have been nice if he mentioned that BEFORE I had to live the rest of my life like this.

My knee was hurting and I was able to get into Dr. Dettling's office within a few days. He was very friendly and informative and sent me for an MRI which came back as a torn meniscus. Dr. Dettling had me in surgery within a few weeks and I am currently in recovery. My post-op was very informative and I am very satisfied with the service I got from Dr. Dettling and his professional staff. Highly recommended!

Do not go to this dr!! If you tell him about a complaint, he will not put it in his notes. He will then lie about the ailments you told him to workers comp and attorneys. Don't trust him. Keep in mind, he does not work for you. He works for the insurance company. Yes, he is the Golden Knights dr, and he and his staff uses that as a marketing tool. He will treat you like a number as well as rush your appt as he is a numbers dr.

Not one bit happy with the way my surgery went a lot wasn’t told to me like I had an allergic reaction to fentanyl. That was never disclosed. Sent me back to work two weeks after I had surgery. Don’t feel like I’m ready to go back and given that I’m right handed, and I type and answer the phone with my right hand and have struggled to adapt to using my left hand. Dr should’ve known this was gonna be a struggle, but didn’t care mentally I am screwed. I’ve been taking the pain pills they’ve been giving me and kinda overdid it with the Benadryl since I’m itching and scratching like a dope fiend. so yeah mentally I am messed up. They don’t really care about your mental being. You are just a payment to them. I’m not happy with the way any of this went down at all and every time I call and talk to some lady named Gabby she’s rude as hell. She doesn’t know how to talk to people. I don’t think I’m mentally ready to go back since this took a huge toll on me but I’m gonna go back and bite the bullet. My arm is in pain every other hour and yet I’m enduring the pain. Then at that additional stuff was done during surgery and wish I was informed before and right after the surgery. Mentally this has messed me up. I’m rocking back and forth every time my anxiety kicks in. I’m all messed up Thanks to Dr. Dettling‘s office. Would I recommend this office probably not. I’m highly disappointed. Oh yeah forgot to add even my physical therapist was shocked I’m going back to work so soon and being forced to use my non dominant hand. Just a sad situation. Think I’m gonna use my own medical insurance and pay the deductible to get a second opinion. Wish I had read his reviews prior to surgery. This was my first surgery every on a limb.
