I first came to this location about three years ago. The glasses are great quality and have lasted me long time. They've helped me over the years with TLC of my glasses.

I needed to update my prescription so I scheduled appointment for today.

The staff is professional. I felt well cared for during the whole process from the scheduling of appointment, reminders, checking-in, eye exams with knowledgable technicians, Doctor review of results, comparing frames/lenses with an expert, all the way until walking out of the store. Doctor Nguyen answered everything I asked about my tests results and the changes in my prescription.

Dr. LAVINE One of my customers at a local car dealership. When I mentioned to her, I was considering changing I Doctor. She invited me to become one of her patients. What a great move. I had been a patient at another eye clinic in Henderson and felt like just another number. When my doctor moved out of state, I consider changing. I have a little bit of a complication due to some surgeries I had in my eyes.
I made my appointment and showed up to be greeted promptly. I was escorted into the room for my eyes were examined more thoroughly than I’ve ever had at any clinic before.. They took the time to understand my situation ask me my conditions that brought me to this situation with my eyes. Their staff truly cares not just another number..
When it came time to adjust my vision to the finest, the doctor allowed me to make these final adjustments if my own hand to get the perfect vision instead of the number, “is this better or better game”!

I arrived in intense pain and, without a regular eye doctor, found Optic Gallery on Yelp. They were able to get me in the same day, and I am so grateful they did.

The staff greeted me warmly and handled intake efficiently. The shop is immaculate and extremely well organized — spotless is an understatement. After a short wait the doctor came in smiling, introduced herself, and reviewed my history and symptoms before beginning the exam. She explained every step clearly and compassionately, even apologizing before using a bright light in my painful eyes.

Dr. Alaina Lavine went above and beyond. Her calm confidence and clear explanations immediately eased my fear, and her gentle bedside manner made a painful situation bearable. I am deeply thankful for the time she took to listen, the care she showed while diagnosing bilateral corneal ulcers, and the thorough treatment plan she prescribed. Her follow-up scheduling and genuine concern for my recovery reassured me that I was in the best hands. I can’t express enough gratitude for her expertise and kindness.

She prescribed medicated drops and scheduled a follow-up for Monday (I was seen on a Friday). The combination of Dr. Lavine’s exceptional care and the attentive team convinced me I’ve found my new eye doctor. I’ll be getting my eye exam, contacts, and glasses here because the entire staff was that caring and professional.

Such a great visit, everyone who assisted in my appointment was amazing! Jenna at the front desk really set the tone for the visit. She made sure we had everything in order and was very pleasant to speak with. She made sure I knew exactly what I was verifying and made checking in quick and easy. Michelle did my pretesting and she was super patient with me as I adjusted to each machine and we joked around a bit which really eased my anxiety about the appointment in general. Dr. Hart was very informative and explained what all the scans of my eyes were showing us and provided options for potential problem areas. It was nice getting a thorough explanation and reassurance. Lastly, I am terrible at making decisions/judgements on what looks good on me, so I let Clarissa take the wheel and she really pinned my style. She was very thorough explaining the options I had for lenses and was transparent with what would be covered by insurance. I didn’t feel like she was just trying to upsell everything, she really took into consideration what I needed from my glasses. I have never been treated with such disrespect. After over 15 years of being a patient I was turned away because the front desk staff was too lazy to do their job. I set my appointment over a month in advance. At that time I filled out the paperwork online and told the girl on the phone that my name on my insurance card was different than the name on my DL. This has been the case for the last 15 years, but somehow the previous staff was competent enough to verify with the insurance company prior to my appointment. Maybe it was the fact that I was not dressed up like the Anthem ladies, because I had just had a MRI an hour before my eye appointment, that they discriminated against my comfortable clothing or maybe it’s just pure incompetence by the front desk girl. I was informed I was committing insurance fraud. I own 2 business and I’m married to a law enforcement officer. This office has now lost not only myself but my entire family as patients. And not to mention I informed the City of Henderson’s unions not to use this location.

I've been coming to this eye doctor for 4 years or so. I had an eye appt coming up in July, so I call July 1st to reschedule a week or more ahead of the appt, knowing I would not be able to make it. I should note they had not bothered to call me with a reminder of the appt. But I keep track of all my appts months ahead in 2+ calendars. When I called, they were able to reschedule me for August 4th. When I arrive to my appointment today, they tell me they cancelled my appt because I didn't confirm when they called. I search my voicemail, and I have ONE call from July 19th saying they would cancel my appt if I don't call to confirm within 24 hrs. I have never heard of such a process. I make routine dental and primary doctor appts months ahead, and they call to remind me at least a week or a few days prior. They never threaten to cancel if I don't double triple confirm the appt I just made 3 weeks ahead. Why would I need to confirm an appt I just made 18 days ago? Or confirm an appt coming up 16 days ahead? And why wouldn't I receive an email or a second call? I would rather pay the $50 fee they also warn you about if you don't cancel within 24 hrs of your appt time. That's why there is a fee. I should be able to keep my appt and I should pay a fee if I don't cancel within an appropriate timeframe. The office shouldn't cancel an appt for me just because I didn't answer my phone on an arbitrary day far away from my actual appt, and too close to the day I called to make said appt. When I saw the 7/19 voicemail, I imagined it was that--- a reminder, not a threat of cancellation.

It's a shame because the doctors I've seen in this office are great! But the appointment system at this office assumes I have time to chat on the phone every week to reassure them I'll be there 3 weeks ahead. When I arrived to check-in for my appointment, they immediately transferred me to the girl on the right side of the desk who seemed to be the one to handle the angry patients whose appts get canceled for no reason. I will not be returning.

My doctor, Dr. Lavine, has taken care of my exams and issues like family. The staff is exceptional. We have been going to Optic Gallery for four years. My daughter and I like the location. Optic Gallery is always clean and feels welcoming. They have a good selection of eyewear. We never have to wait too long in the waiting area. All of the optometrist’s we’ve had have been really nice, quick, and knowledgeable. Just recently, we had Dr. Justin Hart. He was very nice and patient with my daughter. He answered all of our questions and gave good suggestions.

Everyone was nice and welcoming at the OG the District. I was there over an hour which was great. The Optometrist was very thorough and I believe I will get a prescription that will help me see better. The last place I went was a 5 min in and out for the Optometrist and I think the prescription eyeglasses hurt more than they helped me.

I recently visited here on the recommendation of one of its Employees, Karla. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and made me feel welcomed. The Eye Doctor, Dr. T. Nguyen was able to detect an issue in one of my eyes and got me a referral to see a neuro ophthalmologist and I'm undergoing some treatement to better my eyesight. I'll be returning shortly to pic out some glasses.

I have been a patient and client of Optic Gallery for 14 years now. That alone should be proof enough of the great service that I've received over the years, from eye examinations to glasses to occasional adjustments. Case in point, earlier this morning I stopped into the Optic Gallery at the District (Henderson, NV) to pick up some lense cleaning fluid, only to find out that they were low on supply. This didn't detour Karla at the front desk who released the blood hounds to find a bottle of cleaning fluid for me. She was eventually successful in finding a bottle and a cleaning cloth. It's little things like this that keep me coming back to Optic Gallery. I highly recommend them for your eye care needs.

I love Optic Gallery. I just recently purchase a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses prescription and they made it so easy to find what I needed. They are kind and very knowledgeable. My old pair of Maui Jim were no longer being produced and I couldn't buy another pair of the same, so they offer to send mine back to Maui Jim in hopes of getting them repaired. POSITIVE: The District Location: Ashley went above and beyond. She cared for my needs. Went the extra mile to verify information, call my previous doctor, obtain old prescription, get me into a same day appointment with a doctor I had not previously seen. She fought for me when the initial meeting we were both stressed and strife between us.
Ashley also took a step back when I was upset. She chose to solve my mystery diagnosis and why my glasses caused me problems. I had major side effects from my new prescription. And couldn't function m The doctor concluded it was my astigmatism at fault and reduced the sensitivity on my prescription. I was overjoyed and thanked the office. Ashley is a go getter and we hugged because she advocated my healing and pled my case with the doctor for an immediate visit.

This place is great. We originally came here because the previous office was way too pushy. It's been four years and we couldn't be happier. They take you in quickly to do the normal tests. When that's done Dr. Levine sees you right away. She's super nice, always making sure there's no concerns and answering all my weird questions. Olivia helped me find my glasses. My head is huge! Finding the glasses that fit me is hard to do. She was so helpful, spending so much time to find a pair that fit well. Ashley helped the kids. This is no easy task, if you know how kids are. Surprisingly, she got both of them done in good time. She also made sure that they stayed in our budget. Couldn't be more thankful to all of them.

Fantastic group of friendly, welcoming, kind, cheerful. Great experience from the welcoming as I entered. Then the very helpful and informative woman (who’s name I sadly forgot) behind receptionist desk, to testing with Joy who was a delight, to my exam with DR Valdez who was helpful working with me and my 1000 questions, to finally Ashley who assisted with all the pricing and the details. She was very helpfully, educational, patient and down to earth. Probably one of the best conversations I’ve had with a person in years. This was my first time here but I felt like I was a regular.
