When you get tests done in November for clearance for an upcoming surgery on 1/26/ 2026 and don’t get a notice of a problem until one week before the surgery, it is unacceptable. With that, I won’t be returning in the future.

The wait time was only 10 minutes and the Nurse took me to the Cardiologist Exam Room.. She took my BP, asked me questions and if I had any concerns the NP should know.. NP, Jason came in shortly afterwards and we went over my test results during the Follow up appointment..

I would feel much more confident in my treatment if I were advised by my cardiologist Dr Hsu, 2123 calcium score, concerning e-patch results and my family history of coronary deaths, and not by an NP. This is about IM Cardiology not Jason.

Thorough, professional and caring. Glad I was able to see Jason to get a clearance for major surgery. He was able to pick up on something my heart was doing and schedule me for additional testing. I'm sure for some he has been an excellent caring doctor. My experience was somewhat different. Calling back to his office with a follow-up question was ignored, either by his staff or him. I questioned charges and was given no clear cut answer. I just paid my bill, under protest and have to start all over.

I really like Intermountain Healthcare Cardiology. Jason Hume is very patient. I had many questions and they were all answered, including explanations when needed.
