Originally from Utah, Dr. Joshua Lisonbee is known as a compassionate and caring healer. He strives to give every patient the best possible outcome. He is a conservative physician who applies the rule “do what you would want to be done for your family” to each encounter, working to utilize non-surgical approaches as the first line of treatment.
Dr. Lisonbee attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan before moving back to the West Coast for residency. He is a graduate of the Long Beach Memorial residency program, where he did three years of training in foot and ankle surgery. His training included complex rearfoot and ankle surgery, trauma, wound care, limb salvage, and cosmetic forefoot surgery.

Just saw Dr. Lisonbee this week. I must say he is remarkable. He is very intelligent, bed side mannerisms are impeccable. He takes the time to listen and explain issues in layman’s terms. Even showed me how to put on a compression bandage. I am sure we ran into his lunch hour, but he continued with the patient’s needs coming first. I left there encouraged and happy I found such an honest and reputable person. I highly recommend this doctor for all your foot and ankle needs. I give him a 10. He is truly an asset to the group.

For my initial appointment, I was assigned to Dr. Lisenbee. Upon arrival at my appointment, the first thing I noticed was the clean waiting room and the efficient young lady at the front desk. So far, all is good.
Then I met Dr. Lisenbee, who diagnosed my issue and explained the possible treatments. Once I decided on the treatment, he went into further detail, and I set an appointment.
Unfortunately, I had to postpone my treatment for a couple of months. When I returned, I was so happy that this office made it a point to assign me back to Dr. Lisenbee, for which I was very grateful. Dr. Lisenbee remembered me, and we set an appointment for my procedure.
Now, two weeks post-procedure, I am pleased with the outcome and so pleased with the best foot doctor I was lucky enough to be assigned to. Dr. Lisenbee is amazing, professional, and I knew I was in good hands.
