Dr. Katrina Rathjen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Rathjen completed an Internal Medicine Residency with HCA Corpus Christi Medical Center and a Geriatric Fellowship with John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. I’d a virtual appointment with Dr. Katrina Rathjen on 04/23/2025 it was to clear me up for my surgery coming on 04/24/2025 . She’s not my primary care physician. However every time my doctor Phillip Lam is not available, Dr Rathjen is always there for me filling a refill or anything I might need. She is a very kind , caring efficient, knowledgeable physician always there to offer a helping hand when needed and because my doctor and her are in the same group I think it makes easier that way . Needless to mention I feel that if you’re in this group you have two excellent doctors.
Thank you so much Dr. Rathjen for all your kindness. I had my surgery and I came home a couple of hours ago and now I’m resting. I do appreciate all your care.
