As a newcomer to Las Vegas, finding a great doctor was one of the challenges I faced. Someone mentioned Seven Hills to me and I found and was scheduled into an open slot almost immediately to see Katrina Mercado, MD. Boy, was I lucky! Doctor Mercado is professional and matter-of-fact in her analyses, and insightful with her prognoses. I later did a follow-up exam and was again pleased with with the appointment. Twice this Dr. canceled my appointment 3 days before my actual appointment and then wanted to reschedule me 3 months later. I flew in to have my appointment and I was told 3 months later would be the next available. I found this to be unacceptable and unprofessional. No accommodations were made. I do not recommend this Dr.

I scheduled an appointment 3 months ago as a new patient with Dr. Katrina Mercado for today and she canceled. I didn't receive a phone call so I went to her office and that's when I was informed she had a to cancel my appointment for personal reasons. The receptionist Karen rescheduled me for the following month, because that is her earliest opening. I canceled it. I would never want to be seen by a professional who seemingly does not care about the oath she took to help the sick. She is very unprofessional and I will report it.

My husband & I just moved here this past August. Once we got settled in we got on our ins website to establish Dr's, dentists, eye drs, etc. As we looked for a physician we came across Dr Mercado's name. We read reviews & noticed she was a 5 star!! So we decided to make an appt & meet with her. We found her friendly, honest & upfront with us. The front desk girls were very friendly nice & polite & helpful. I was immediately greeted upon opening the door to the office by a friendly front desk person, which gave me a great first impression. When they took me back the room was pleasantly decorated and I didn’t have to wait long before Dr. Katrina Mercado popped her friendly face in. I loved how down to earth she was and she seemed open to having a conversation about my healthcare instead of just thinking she knew what was best. This was my first appointment to establish care so there wasn’t much going on but I’m happy to know that I have someone like Dr. Mercado in my corner. My husband meets with her husband in a few weeks so I’m hopeful he will have the same enjoyable experience!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mercado since 2017 when she was still affiliate with Dignity Mrdical Group. Can’t say enough good things about her. She listens, she is empathic and explain things thoroughly.

Overall it was a really good experience, I was sent a text reminder of my appointment, which I appreciate, I was greeted when I walked in, I filled out the paperwork, and the Dr. saw me on time for my appointment. at the end of the visit, she asked if I had anything else to go over, I never felt rushed during my visit. Dr Katrina Mercado is sweet, practical, and over all a really good doctor. I followed her from her last office to this new one and it was as great as I hoped.
