My girlfriend was just seen here. The provider was excellent, as was the med tech who did intake. However, we were left waiting in the room for well over an hour after we were initially seen, as our provider was called into a meeting by corporate despite being in the middle of patient care. None of the front desk staff thought to tell us and let us leave with her referrals, and corporate apparently couldn't possibly care less about the patients under their care. Again, I have only good things to say about the provider herself- my issue is with the office staff & corporate owership.

I’ve been a patient for a long time and through this transition they are going through there are some people who have really stood out! The front desk is so busy but they have such great attitudes and are so helpful. Rachel has come out and given us water She make sure no one is waiting too long and is super friendly and Linda has been beyond helpful. She has called to followed up on appointments and really gone above and beyond to make sure that I’m getting the best care possible. I love the staff here.

When Dr Capobianco was at the Tenaya office everything was PERFECT, but now (3-25-2026) it’s a complete Disaster. I was at the phone today more de ONE HOUR to try to get an appointment. After that… I didn’t get the appointment. I’m very frustrated. The front desk and the phone service are so BAD.

I got a call from your office to come in for a yearly wellness check. I called, and the promp stated, I was number one in line. All I got was 20 minutes of music. The phone would ring. And back on, hold again.
I finally hung up called back for the operator
After ten minutes of the same thing, of the ring and then back on music, someone picked up just to say your number to online.I'll be right back. Then, it went back to the original recording. Thank you for calling your number one in line in another twenty minutes of music, ringing.And music I finally gave up. Never did make the appointment.

I moved here from Reno and I tried calling to establish a PCP/be a new patient but I was put on hold multiple times and told "please hold" x 15 times (I counted). Someone finally answered and I told them my insurance is Hometown Health and she went to verify, but put me on the endless "please hold" cycle again and never came back. I was on the phone for 30 min. Finally a guy answered and told me I had to call my insurance to get a ref#. I called my insurance who verified they are in-network. I tried calling again and nobody was answering to make an appointment. This place is so unprofessional with how they answer/don't answer calls. They really need to fix it. But yes, if you guys read this---they do take hometown health are are contracted, so put this on your insurance list.

Horrible experience ever since risehealth took over this doctors office it’s been a shit show, calling billing department is a complete joke expect 4-6 weeks before they call you back if they call you back. The doctors office was never like this, the staff has gotten so lazy. Tried to fix my issues with Rise health manager and that was a joke no solution offered just that she sorry she couldn’t do her job or answer for weeks in a department they ask you to leave a voicemail, refills for prescriptions take forever! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, when Leo sold this place it went to shit and risehealth is ensuring it will continue to be a pain for simple health care.

Not a great experience.
Overall, I didn’t feel supported for the needs of my health.
I never actually met my primary care doctor, only staff nurses.
They didn’t give me results to the labs I ordered, even after claiming multiple times that they did.

I want to be clear: Dr. Capobianco and Anthony Martinez have always been excellent, professional, and compassionate. My concerns are entirely with the front office management. Experiences like this reflect poorly on an otherwise outstanding clinical team.
I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at The Doctors Center on Tenaya Way.
My husband is a patient there, and due to a recent injury he requires assistance with daily activities. Under my company’s policy, I must submit an FMLA “Certification of Health Care Provider for Family Member’s Serious Health Condition,” which is supposed to be completed by the provider treating the affected family member.
This same form has been completed by a provider at this office in the past without any issues.
However, during our visit today, I was told by three different staff members including the office manager, Diana Allan that the form could not be filled out by my husband’s provider, and that I needed to take it to my primary care physician. When I asked why, given that my husband is the patient, I was told this was simply their “office guideline.” No policy, regulation, or explanation could be provided.
To be clear, even the most basic guidance, including information directly from the U.S. Department of Labor states that FMLA forms for caregiving are completed by the provider who is treating the family member with the serious health condition.
My employer’s leave department even spoke with the office manager directly to explain this, yet she continued to insist they were unable to fill it out.
Additionally, I was told that previously completed documentation (which I have copies of) was never scanned into their system. This is a significant clerical oversight for any medical practice and can create serious issues for both patients and providers.
I sincerely hope the practice reviews its administrative processes and provides better training, because families dealing with medical issues should not have to fight through misinformation and refusal to follow standard FMLA procedures.

Dr. Capobianco and the entire staff at the Doctors Center are amazing. I never wait long yet I’m also never rushed out. They answer all of my questions with terms I can understand. They are patient, calm, efficient, understanding, caring, and thorough. I have been with them for 5 years now and I recently changed my 103 year old grandmothers primary care to Dr Capobianco and it was the best decision we ever made. Everyone is super patient with her and her safety and comfort are their top priority. Before she was a patient she had a horrible primary doctor that would tell her things like your going to die soon anyway and when she fell and broke her ankle her former doctor didn’t even have the front desk return my call to see how she was let alone offer any follow up and even though my grandmothers insurance was not one that Dr C takes he saw her as an urgent care patient and did more for her in that 20 minute appointment than her previous doctor had done in the prior 2 years. We immediately changed her insurance to one she was covered under and Dr. C and Rebecca Riley have been treating her ever since. In the last year they have helped her overcome a broken ankle, a broken collarbone, Covid, bruised ribs, severe constipation, fluid filled lungs, and now are helping us deal with some memory and metal issues that I would guess all 103 going on 104 year olds deal with. We are definitely frequent flyers at The Doctors Center and everyone there knows my grandmother by name which makes her comfortable and that is one thing you just can’t put a price tag on. Update, 2 years later and although my grandmother is no longer with us I still go to Dr. C and they are still all amazing. Still never wait long and still get all the attention I need. They are definitely getting busier but they have added enough staff to handle the increase and I still love everyone I encounter there.

Their new billing is horrible! I was billed even though I have insurance and paid the co-pay but noone ever answers their billing or returned the FIVE voicemails I left. So after 10 years with Dr Capobianco, I'm moving on to some place that I can trust won't swindle me. So sad that if they want to charge you for bogus charges, you have to pay. Who cares if you have insurance. Such a scam!

So over this place. I spent over 3 months trying to get a Prior Authorization for medication. I repeatedly asked them to provide the required documentation and info for approval until I was told the Physicians were too busy to provide the info needed to get approval. I submitted an appeal myself with no clinical justification or letter from the Doctor for why coverage was necessary and got an approval with in a week. When there was an increase in the medication dosage my insurance said I would need a new PA for the medication to be covered. After the fiasco with the 1st approval and knowing that the office wouldn’t provide the info and record required for approval I called and asked for the best way to get the PA done correctly and was told scheduling an appointment would be best even though I was just there the week prior. I did so and went to my appointment that as specifically for me to get what was needed for the approval. I did all the work for them, drafted a clinical justification letter that included peer reviewed articles, medical trials justifying the increase in dosage, my medical info required , the tests required, my 6 month approval letter for the lower dosage of the medication, and my insurance companies policy for the coverage of the medication. I asked that they simply include the documents with the Prior Authorization request. They had me email them the documents that included private medical info so they could include them in the PA request. At the end of the appointment I stopped at the front deak to make sure they received the email. I was told the person who provide authorization for the front desk to access the email wasn’t answering so they would call me shortly to confirm. I never received a call back so I called hours later and asked if they received it and if it was provided with PA request . I was told the doctor put in the notes that the request for PA was so that I wouldn’t have to get a new PA MONTHLY which isn’t a clinical justification for medication approval and my documents were not included or sent with the PA request so as I grew frustrated and stated I had actually scheduled an appointment and went to the office to ensure the PA was submitted with all the required info for approval and to avoid the same situation I had experienced previously I was told they were closing and got in trouble if they stayed late. So I’ll find out in the next 3 days that the PA was denied because they couldn’t be bothered to do the job they will get paid for doing by my insurance but never did. Then when I asked for the corporate office number I was told they didn’t have it and when I asked for the name of the company I was lied to and given the name of a company that is no longer in existences. I am going to report the costs they bill my insurance for today’s visit as fraud and file a complaint with every regulating entity there is because this is a bunch of bullshit and I’m not gonna let them get away with it. They got paid to make sure this PA was done right and then couldn’t be bothered to do shit. And on top of that everytime you call your placed on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes and after the 10 mins is up and the phone system automatically ri gs back to their desk they pick up and hang up requiring g you to call back and wait at least another 10 mins be for you can actually speak to someone.

I honestly don't know why I've stayed so long. Front desk workers are amazing and sweet but the doctors and nurses here treat this place like a meat factory. I'm put with a new doctor every single visit each with zero understanding of my medical history so each new doctor is just guessing about the trajectory of my health. This last visit was particularly obnoxious. I felt my apathy skyrocket and my energy levels plummet in realizing that I was never going to get quality care here or be put with a healthcare professional that was in field because they genuinely care. I get that doctors are heavily restrained by the demands of insurance companies but that is simply not an excuse to treat healthcare like it's a fast food service. I'm going elsewhere to find consistent and genuine care.

Ever since they change their computer system, there arw so many people and long wait times in the office. Before you would get in and out under 20 mins. I have been sitting in the waiting room now for about 30 mins and my appointment was at 12:45pm, it is now 1:15pm. The employees seem to be very upset as well with the new change, I have heard employees discussing their concerns and frustrations which each other while in waiting room. Would have given them 5 starts but this change has not been for the best.

They always go above and beyond for their patients even in these difficult times. For a same day sick visit I was there for a little over an hour and 15 minutes. 30 minutes was waiting for a rapid COVID test to come back (required which is appreciated as to not put other patients or the office staff in harms way). The rest of the time was being seen and treated running a strep and flu test. I had medicine waiting at the pharmacy by 5 pm. Love Doctors Center!
Update 7/25/2025: changed over EMR systems to Athena Health without informing patients. The app will not allow me to message the office as it wants me to select a provider, but no providers are available in the drop down and it won't allow you to continue without one selected.
My wife has been waiting multiple weeks for a refill on a medication so she called the office to get an update. Mind you she was seen this year, but they haven't called her back to give her an update in over 48 hours. The request was sent by our pharmacy 2 1/2 weeks ago and even if they needed to see her in the office, they never told the pharmacy and certainly hadn't called my wife to let her know.
They require follow up for all blood work, even if the results are normal, in which they charge you for that visit even if it's subsequent to your annual physical, which are free on most all insurance. Speaking of physicals, until this year, I haven't gotten what one would consider a physical at all because the providers, mostly APRNs and NPs seem afraid to touch you.
The quality of care and overall function of the office has gone down over the few years we've been going here. I am waiting on xray results and none are in my results online, nor can I message the office to see if they were in fact received.
There are a few bright spots still in a couple providers there, but overall it's been disappointing.

Easy access to the office. Lots of parking. Near public transportation.
Provider took patients on time of their appointment without making them wait in a waiting room.
They have a Phlebotomist available to take blood immediately from Lab Corp.
Although I refuse to use Lab Corp due to their business practices, the service is available. I use Quest for blood work. Always fast results can be seen on the Quest portal. Typically the next day for most services.
Lab Corp holds the results until you see the doctor (which could be weeks after blood draw). LabCorp sends tests out of state which causes delays for results. Lab Corp does not work on weekends. Blood draws done Friday do not get started till Monday. Absolutely no urgency in their business practices.
Only comment/complaint is the office TV has a station from Ohio instead of local video and news.

I've had mostly good experiences up until last visit. The tending person flat out refused to write out an accommodation told me no, because he apparently knew my company's HR policies better than mu company's HR department. When trying to reach out to the office and lodge a complaint, I keep getting transferred to a super long hold then I'm dumped into a voice-mail box. So I'm unable to lodge a complaint about this individual and that I can't report him to his employer because I keep getting dumped to VM. And I still haven't been able to get an accommodation for work. This one person's actions and the inability to be able to report this individual has really left a bad taste in my mouth regarding this office.

Let me give some information in regards to this place they call out the clients by first name only when you’re waiting in the waiting room and there’s a lot of people in the same room. Chances are there’s somebody in that room with the same first name as you let’s just say, we don’t appreciate attitude from the receptionist, that work the front counter And when somebody walks up to the front counter you’re supposed to acknowledge them but instead, what do they do? They ignore you and then when you say well you’re here they give you an attitude, Well, we didn’t call you. There’s a growing problem in the medical industry here in southern Nevada people who work in the medical industry are cold and callous. we ended up walking out and we are going to wait for the prognosis information for the tests that were run to be given to us via email or phone call. We are never stepping back in their office again we don’t appreciate nasty rotten people working up at the front. They now play games with the lives of their patients by cutting off their medication when the patient runs out before their appointment. Lawsuit is going to be brought against them.

Needed a letter to clear me for ONLINE School!! The NP had denied me for reasons beyond my control. Never had to argue with a NP in my life till this visit. Waste of insurance money for the 4 minutes he spent with me. He broke my HIPPA rights by telling me to follow him to the front desk then talking about me in front of other waiting patients. How embarrassing and definitely against HIPPA. You violated my rights to keep my health information private. You need to be reported and reprimanded!

i’ve been seeing Dr. Leo for my regular physical and a normal day-to-day things that one goes to the doctor for since 2018. My encounters with him and his staff have been professional and timely. They’re always taking care of you, The patient. Dr. Leo zooms in immediately on the problem And resolves The issue if it is within the scope of his abilities. If not, He will refer you to another physician who can do the work reliably and professional. While Dr. Capobianco is very busy, he is pragmatic, conscientious and efficient. He is up-to-date with the latest medical science and truly understands what he is doing and what is best for the patient. He will not suggest medications you do not need and is cautious when prescribing treatment. He is presently fine tuning my hormones and is now assisting with menopausal weight loss. 1st time patient. Filled out their 10 pages of information including Seirra Health insurance info. Upon arrival I was told they don't take Seirra Health. ( maybe their system could have let me know) I said I would pay w a credit card and was told they do not take self pay so there is no way I could ever get any service from this medical facility. Absolutly crazy. I was turned away and will never call them again. A waste of my valuable time. P.S. they still have 10 pages of my personal medical history. Please delete my info from your system.

Dr C is an amazing physician and I was thankful to have had him care for me over the past 7 years. A good healthcare provider is hard to find these days. The reason for my low rating comes as of recent. The front desk staff are leaving a lot to be desired. The lack of compassion in care is starting to plague his office. I felt it at my last couple visits but didn’t want to accept it because he is such a good physician. I have been needing to go to the Henderson office lately with a couple urgent visits. I usually go to the Tenaya clinic. I have referred a couple people lately as well who said they will not return.
Today, I feel absolutely terrible. I have not been outside of my bedroom since Friday. I called for a telehealth appointment to avoid going into office exposing anyone else to illness. At the time of my appointment I was asked for my $15 copay which I have never had a problem paying. I have never owed a bill since I became a patient. My purse is downstairs and I have no one home to retrieve for me at the moment. I can barely make it out of bed with the body aches and pain. I asked if I could call back with the payment and was told no. I could not be seen without paying the $15 upfront. My appointment was canceled and I know how important it is that I am seen soon. I feel nothing less than horrible and they could not wait a couple hours to receive a $15 copay from a long time patient with no billing issues.
I am a healthcare professional as well so I understand business but competent and compassionate care is what helps to build your business as well as patient’s trust. Having a provider who offers high quality patient care as well as compassion for patients is important to me. I left a message for the office manager, but never received a call back. Once feeling better, I will sadly be searching for a new healthcare provider. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to another patient.

Everytime I have an issue and I need help, she's the only one that really takes the time to listen, gather the information about what is going on, correct things for me and above all else, she keeps her promises!!! I cannot count how many times I've been told by this office that I would be called back and never received a call, even when the issue was very serious.
