Well I finally found the PC place and Physician like I expected, recently moved to Las Vegas less than a year and having difficulty finding care the way you want it, I gone through 4 different professional care offices but just didn’t go well, feels restless but keep on searching found this place through google search and waited months before seeing the Dr., April 30, 25 seeing the office finally and make it short, just the way I expected it, the staff was very helpful and friendly I needed that, Young Dr. walking in and introduced herself as Dr. Katrina and throughly explained that she’s knowing and studying my records profile and knowing what I need so don’t have to explain much, this is just awesome and very well explained what to expect and how she’s going to do for me step by steps,
Just might found what I been looking for,
I decided to send this Dr. to my Insurance as my Personal Care Provider.

I scheduled an appointment 3 months ago as a new patient with Dr. Katrina Mercado for today and she canceled. I didn't receive a phone call so I went to her office and that's when I was informed she had a to cancel my appointment for personal reasons. The receptionist Karen rescheduled me for the following month, because that is her earliest opening. This is very unprofessional and I will report it.

Dr. Mercardo is a wonderful doctor that actually cares about her patients. She has always gone out of her way to make sure I get the treatment that I need. I can’t say enough good things about her, she’s simply the best!

My father had two appointments with Dr. Mercado — both of which he scheduled far in advance (2 months) — and she cancelled each appointment the day before. This is clearly a routine of hers, even mentioned by others in negative reviews, and it is unacceptable. This negatively affects patient outcomes and their health.

Dr. Mercado is very thorough and understanding. I'm a firm believer in nutrition and she's open to combining alternative approaches to wellness in addition to the standard medical approach. Very friendly staff and efficient office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mercado’s since November of 2017. I have been trying to get in to see her for the last 7 months and have been unable to because she calls in sick the day of my appointment. This is the third consecutive appointment of mine that she has called out sick for. Being a teacher I am unable to just come in a few hour late or take a long lunch to fit a doctors appointment into my day. Also it is not fair to my students or myself to have to take a full day off of work to get into see my doctor. I scheduled an afternoon appointment for October 29th back in August and she called out sick for that appointment. I rescheduled my appointment for today December 24th because that was the first available appointment that she had that I wouldn’t have to take off work for. I got a call at 7:30 this morning that she has once again called out sick. I will be changing my doctor and I strongly recommend that if you have a need to see you doctor more then once a year you find someone other then Katrina Mercado. She is more worried about calling out sick before or after a holiday then she is about your health.

Staff told me wrong location which caused me to be late but the Dr. saw me regardless. Very knowledgeable, incredible bedside manner and patience. If I weren’t moving, she would be my new primary care physician.
