Dr. Lowe is one of the most caring, kind, and respectable doctors I’ve ever met. He expresses a true undeniable care for his patients and absolutely prioritizes those he is caring for, he spends real time pin-pointing symptoms and important parts that other doctors wouldn’t even take into consideration. He’s compassionate and truly expresses the love and care he has for his profession. If you choose any rheumatologist, choose Dr. Lowe, he is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Lowe admits to knowing NOTHING about fibromyalgia. When his method of exercise, physical therapy, and no screen time before bed (their entire therapy for chronic pain) did NOT work, we were told that if my daughter couldn't exercise for more than 15 minutes per day without collapsing, that there was something "seriously wrong with her" a he'd NEVER heard of that before. Thank God I, as her mother, had experience with fibromyalgia and didn't believe this completely unprofessional, delusional, doctor. If your kid isn't just out of shape, don't go here. My daughter's in a wheelchair now because he wasted a year of our time with his utter stupidity.

I moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago with two children suffering from arthritis. Almost two years ago, we finally found Dr. Lowe and everything changed. He listens, he truly cares, and thanks to him, we finally have an accurate diagnosis. Now my children are receiving the right treatment and improving every day.
If you’re looking for real solutions, better quality of life for your kids, and peace of mind for yourself, you’ve found the right doctor.
100% recommended.

My 8 year daughter was diagnosed in July with JIA, she was dragging her feet to walk, could no longer dress herself or hold her plate. Dr. Lowe patiently sat, listened, answered my many questions and started treatment. My daughter is doing great, she's jumping, running, holding her own plate now. Dr. Lowe and Rosie have been there for me at all hours of day to assist as needed the customer service I receive from them is exceptional!!!! They treat you more like family than patient/caregiver. Thank you for all you do Dr. Lowe and Rosie!

6/6/24 Update: Dr. Lowe personally called and chatted with me for over an hour! There are no words for that kind of service and I am updating my review to 5 stars! Thank you for explaining everything in depth, recommending next steps, and mentioning the providers you highly recommend. Thank you for not writing off my concerns and truly caring about my son staying healthy. I did not expect a call or a full follow up consult at this point and it truly means more than words can say! We are happy to pay for an additional consult. Wishing you and your staff all the best going forward! We truly need more physicians like you in town...and THIS is the type of care I was highly anticipating at our recent appointment. Wishing you only the best going forward and a smooth recovery of your own!

There were no hard feelings toward Stephanie. Everyone was truly doing what they were supposed to do at our visit...we were just looking forward to seeing you personally. It has been a very long journey!

Thank you, again, for taking time to follow up and address my concerns! I would absolutely recommend people that need to see you...do!

6/5/24: I tried calling this office a year ago, when our child was sicker than sick, and no one had answers. The closest we got was mono...and then that diagnosis was pulled too. With my own JRA (from Mayo Clinic) and MS diagnosis, I thought perhaps this was the missing link. To my dismay, no one responded to my inquiry. When I eventually called, they told me they absolutely request specific lab work of their own, but I needed to have a referral...though our insurance does not require.

Our oldest child was sick most of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. His health consistently declined, even on antibiotics, and we had a different diagnosis every time we took him back to the same pediatrician. The pediatrician refused to see him the 3rd time in one week (my husband called on Thursday AND I called on Friday) when he was deteriorating fast...on meds...to the point I took him to our allergist in Houston/The Woodlands for a same day sinus CT on Monday. If this was a repeat of 2016/2019, that CT would have confirmed. It didn't.

Our new pediatrician (we started fresh in January...after 3 years) agreed that something seems off with his immune system and a visit to the rheumatologist may be warranted. We took the steps, as each of your patients do, and were greatly anticipating this highly coveted appointment.

My printer was not working that morning, theirs either, but I had everything on my computer ready to go from 2023, 2019, and 2016. We visited with the PA, and her shadow, both very nice and seemingly knowledgeable. I left feeling ok-ish about the appointment, but couldn't shake the disappointment of not actually seeing the doctor.

#1 Concern- We made the appointment with the doctor and we never saw the doctor. This would NEVER happen in Texas. We understand NV is different, but our expectations remain high. Maybe it isn’t a rheumatology thing, but we would have liked the opportunity to see the doctor and see if he might have further insight/labs.

#2 Concern: We never received the after visit summary and referrals promised despite ensuring they had my email address at the visit, calling multiple times, sending an email to the information email, and calling again.

Everyone was nice and as accommodating as they could be, but our experience was not one I can recommend. I have JRA, with flares about every 10 years, and MS. I see specialists ALL the time. They recommend labs every time! This is the first time my son didn’t see a doctor for an initial visit, there were no labs requested, and basically just told to keep doing what we’re doing. Yes, he is healthy...for now...until he isn’t! That is when it matters...and you cannot be seen.

My daughter saw them in 2020 for knee and hip pain and they put her on naproxen. No other tests ordered. Pain got worse so took her to another place, where testing determined it was a connective tissue disorder and she can no longer walk. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY WOULD HAVE DONE MORE BACK THEN BY TESTING.

My son is diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis. The treatment for this rare disease is IVIG infusions that are needed on a monthly basis. This disease is devastating and complicated. It’s also a very misunderstood diagnosis. Not for Dr. Lowe!

From the very first visit with Dr. Lowe we knew that we were in great hands. Dr. Lowe provided a treatment plan and was very transparent about the process of treating this horrible disease. Dr. Lowe and his staff have been along side with us as we navigate this heartbreaking journey. We finally have hope that our son will regain his health.

Dr. Lowe has been a crucial piece to our son’s healing. The time and effort that the doctor and his staff have given us, is priceless. It’s very rare to experience the compassion, professionalism and guidance we are receiving from Dr. Lowe and his staff. There is not enough words or star ratings to express how grateful we are to Dr. Lowe and his staff.

The best Rheumatologist hands down and we 100% recommend him to any parent searching for the best healthcare for their child.

So relieved to have my toddler properly diagnosed! After two years of hospitals and doctors not knowing what was wrong.. I fought to get in with a specialist, now we have medicine that works for my daughters internal inflammation and I’m forever grateful. Really caring doctor too. He totally answers his phone after hours, (I’ve called multiple times) if you leave a message he will call back shortly, how awesome is that.

We are so grateful that Dr. Lowe has come to the Vegas Valley. I can’t even begin to imagine where we would be right now without him. He came to us after we had been in the hospital for the third time and no one could figure out what was happening to our baby. He has ensured she has had THE best care anyone could offer. He is thorough and COMPASSIONATE! Which is very hard to find. We’ve lived in Vegas for 30+ years and have never had great experiences with Drs. So when our daughter fell extremely ill, we were terrified of how we would come out of this. He jumped right in and hasn’t stopped fighting for her. He is ALWAYS available to us WHENEVER we need him. Literally 24/7. He figured out that she is suffering from an EXTREMELY rare disease, one that normally takes an average of 5-6 years to diagnose. He has managed to wade through it in a matter of months, literally saving our daughter’s life. We owe him everything. He’s not afraid to hit this with everything he has and won’t give up on her. We are adjusting to our new normal and still trying to understand what all of this means for our 4 year olds future BUT with Dr. Lowe in our corner, we know that she has one!!

This review is long past due.
Dr. Lowe is incredible. My family and I had a scare and my son's peditrician sent us to Dr. Lowe. We were very fortunate that Dr. Lowe moved to Las Vegas. Our visit could have been a simple 5 minute out the door visit, but instead Dr. Lowe took a whole hour to explain all of my son's lab work and any concern I had. If there is anything this doctor made our family feel is the love he has for children and the safety the children have in his care. I hope anyone with a JRA diagnoses finds Dr. Lowe.

Dr. Lowe is a fabulous doctor. He listens to his patients/parents and isn't afraid to take on complex kiddos who likely aren't going to be easy to diagnose.

I can't say enough amazing things, so I will TRY to keep it short. 3 years of challenging medical experiences with my son. Heartbreaking to say the least. The last 18 months of those three years were filled with medical professionals of multiple disciplines who either would not, or could not help my son. Keeping hope was difficult to say the least. Until Dr. Lowe. On the very first appointment, he reviewed years worth of medical records (we came to him quite prepared). He immediately gave us a suspected cause for the challenges and worked with us to chart a course for treatment. We discussed several different options, prioritized them based on our comfort levels and began implementation as soon as the updated blood work came back to validate his diagnosis, which was right on the mark. We began treatment on our first course, and it was exactly the right path, and the results arrived in the exact amount of time that Dr. Lowe advised us. We had one concern a couple weeks into the treatment, and Dr. Lowe was extremely prompt to respond, and we slightly adjusted our course and effectively accommodated the concern. It as now been nearly 4 months since our first visit and things continue to go amazingly well. The relief that we have as to our son's condition is indescribable, as is the comfort that we have that no matter what the future has in store, we have the right person on our team to help us navigate the waters. Thank you, Dr. Lowe. You are an amazing individual.

My daughter has been diagnosed with alopecia areata, she’s had this since she was 4, she’s 13 now and has completely lost her hair, it’s been very challenging not only entering a very fragile stage (preteens) of her life but beginning of a young ladies years looking forward to a lot has diminished all hope for her. Until Dr. Lowe! He has been a God send, nothing short of amazing with the treatments she’s currently on, since this happened in October of last year to now we’ve seen some results snail paced but still a big leap compared to what she didn’t have (literally) a year ago. We’re working with his regimen and I cannot tell you how true to his profession, and knowledge he is well versed in, and has made me a believer in his work (which by the way my daughter and I have recently registered this on the FDA’s registry), for patients with this illness since it’s been an outbreak more and more now to know there is help. Dr. Lowe’s passion in his work, is very evident in his sincerity for his patients, but the scope of his expertise is so down to earth in laymen’s term makes one understanding so comfortable in any illness I feel, for me it was second nature, my daughter couldn’t have asked for a better doctor, we’re from out of town and experiencing the shortage of good, knowledgeable and caring doctors here in Vegas (not very many who deal with minors by the way), this town is very fortunate to have Dr. Lowe and of course behind him his wonderful staff Rosie, congratulations looking forward to bigger things coming your way, stay true to your passion Dr. Lowe, I know it’s blessed us and many more to come. THANK YOU!!

We have been fighting juvenile arthritis with my daughter for going on 6 years now and finally found a local doctor that will take care of your kid like he's own. Dr. Lowe and his staff are amazing very helpful and knowledgeable definitely happy that he is seeing our girl, we still have some work to do to get her to be 100% healthy but we are sure that with his help we will achieve it. If your kid (s) are going trough similar issues give them a call I'm sure they can help.
