Years ago, I changed doctor's fairly often, due to scheduling, rapport, knowledge, etc. I switched to Dr. Kohn about 20 years ago and will never switch again.
Although he is in high demand, he is always totally focused on you during your visit. He's easy to talk with, and is extremely knowledgeable at diagnosing and treating new issues that arise with age. He is connected to a solid referral network and has his staff arrange any necessary appointments with specialists.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Kohn and his staff! This is the best doctor I have ever been to in my whole entire life and I'm over 50. I've been going here for 12 years. Also my family comes here, he is a family doctor. He really takes time with you. He really cares. Simply the best. Dr. Kohn identified problems with my sons sleeping that was causing asthma! We had been to specialists who just wanted to give steroids etc, Dr. Kohn was able to suggest simple changes that fixed sleep issues then practically eliminated the asthma. I Love this place. The staff has always been great to me. Come early though because if not the wait times are crazy lol. But I already know what to expect so I come early or after the rush of people. The weight loss injections definitely work. What I learned is that consistency is key. P.s be nice to the staff. It’s not there fault that there are long wait periods. 🩷

I showed up for my 10:30 appt at 10:15 as I was instructed to do so. They called me on Friday to confirm my appt - I asked if there was anything I needed to know, she said no just bring your id.

What I was not told was expect to wait 2 to 3 hours.

At 11:40 I was still waiting and I had gone back and watched a 5 minute video and returned to the waiting room. I asked how much longer I was told "we have to wait for a room - he is very thorough which is why it takes so long" - B.S. it takes this long because there is one doctor who they overbook to ensure he can make as much money as he can. You can only be thorough if you are actually seeing a patient not if the patient is sitting in the waiting room.

The receptionist was nice. The lady who was passing out the drugs was a grump, and the rest of them I am not sure what they do - again if you are going for the first time ask questions. What I know is additional visits you also wait as everyone in there was just sitting and waiting.

I went here few yrs ago with a groupon both pills worked great for me lost 9lbs 1st month and had no issues using the groupon nor did I have to pay additional fees. Yes the wait is Long at the office but that's because only 1 dr , dr is super nice and tells u what things help with your weightloss journey too ! Definitely going back !

Thus far., I used a coupon from Groupon. Do not use. They will say " third party " diet pills didn't work for me. I mentioned that on my first visit. I said that I would try it. It's four weeks later and I'm am at the exact same weight. I'm asking for the shot again., the pills I took before. ( Deer with headlights) now. No one freaking remembers. So, lack of note taking. Ill keep you posted. I'm paying again for what I came in for. I really want to rate a 1, but a 2 is being nice.
My fault for NOT checking the reviews before out. I'm out $300 cash thus far.

I love this doctor and all his staff! The “older lady”, (as another reviewer referred to her) at the front desk is on the front lines of answering phones (try and find that in most doctors offices nowadays, where they have no one manning phones, just an answering machine!!) listening to everyone’s complaints about wait time, seating, heat, blah, blah blah… The list goes on. The office is fine. It’s an older office. Everyone knows that. So the doctor didn’t put a bunch of money into aesthetics yet. And you may have to wait a little longer because the doctor is a gem that actually spends time with his patients. I count myself as extremely lucky to have found him and have been seeing him for over 10 years. Try being polite to the people who are there to check you in and help you. It goes a long way. Their job is hard enough.

The semaglutide works, the wait times are long for weigh ins but if you’re there early it’s not that long. I’m giving it 3 stars because the front desk staff needs to be replaced. The older woman there has an attitude problem, she is not happy at her job, she needs a new one. She’s not friendly whatsoever and certainly not very welcoming, has an eye rolling problem. I feel the receptionist are like the face of any business and that lady is in the wrong job. The nurses in the back are nice.

This place has a really bad service. The doctor use the insurances just for promotion to get customers and pay in cash. I have insurance and when I call them they told me they are not accepting new patients but if I interesting in the weight program they can give me an appoitment the same day but I have to pay $200 dollars in cash.
The waiting time for follow up is at least 1 hour.
The staff is always in the back talking and eating and the reception full of people. Front desk is always empt. Also the place smells bad and the carpet is nasty
I will report this place to the authorities.

The wait times are worth the quality care I have received here. The staff is always pleasant and professional, they’ve helped me see and achieve my fitness goals. I normally have a decent experience at the office, however two days ago I came back after a couple of months. I received the medication I normally purchase and the labels were misplaced on the bottles. The phentermine label was on the topiramate bottle and the topiramate label on the phentermine bottle. I took the topiramate on the first day thinking it was the phentermine but knew something was off due to the look of the pill. To my surprise I opened the topiramate bottle to find what looked more like phentermine. If I was a new customer taking these pills I would be taking the medication wrong. Please be more careful.

I love Dr Kohn he is amazing my whole family is seeing him. My complaint is about medical office.
I had a silver summit insurance and for 2 weeks was trying to get a referral to Allergy doctor. No body ever called me back. Every time time I heard only promises "Someone will call me back". They gave me referral only when I went to the office personally and this referral is not useful anymore since I just changed my insurance. I wish someone would actually call me back as promised 2 weeks ago. Now I can't start my MS medication.

This office might be the most inefficient office I have ever been to. Although the products they offer are great, the B12 shot, and the weight loss program with the phentermine is great, the wait time to get in on Saturdays is sometimes 30-45 minutes, and then the amount of time that is taken in the room with the medical assistant is too long as well. I’m not sure why they don’t have a more efficient process of checking where patients can let the front desk know if they’re having a B 12 shot or not so the shot can be ready by the time they are in the exam room. The medical assistant is coming into the room after the weigh in, asking the necessary questions and then going back to get the B12 shot, which can take another 5 to 10 minutes… for someone who is busy throughout the week with work, and then has a short amount of time in the morning on Saturday to do a quick weigh in, it’s a total inconvenience to come to this office. Not to mention the fact they have no system of notifying patients of new programs, closures of the office outside of normal office hours, etc… they’re also still working out of paper charts, which is an indication of how outdated this office is! The piles of patient charts are all over the floor and all over the countertops, which is another indication of how inefficient they are. I have no doubt that wait time to get in for a win is so long because they’re probably looking for patient charts! When checking in, patients write their names on a small piece of paper… Who does that? This is 2023… they need a new office manager and more efficient systems!!!

Researched and read reviews for a year before going in. I finally met Dr. Kohn and he answered any questions I had. He explained the process and in 3 weeks I'm down 17 lbs. I have my own routine but plateaued and couldn't get passed a specific weight no matter how good I ate or worked out so I highly recommend this process if you're really wanting to learn how to "reshape the way you think about taste" as Dr. Kohn says.

Called yesterday and was put on hold for over 40 minutes. I hung up and called back 6 times and was sent to voicemail everytime. I called today and was put on hold however i could hear typing and normal office noises in the background. I waited for 16 minutes and hung up, tried calling back 3 times and to no surprise i was sent to voicemail all 3 times. The front desk is ridiculous.

Just calling was a horrible experience. Was asked to be put on hold, hung up on. Called back. Told them who I was and was waiting for a question to be answered, again was put on hold. It hung up on me. Called again and then was rudely told to wait because there was someone else in front of me and the phones hung up on me. I have been a Customer Service Manager for years and honestly some TRAINING is need here.

I can't trust this medical office. If they can't pick up the phone, use it properly and be polite to customers (which is basic stuff). How can I trust you with my medical care?

I rarely ever give any places a 1 star unless I feel like a place has wasted my time. I made an appointment for my fiancé and I. My appointment was made online on August 8th and his on August 9th. My appointment was for their weightless program and my fiancé is looking for a primary doctor. Our appointments were set for 3:30pm today and 4pm today via their website. I received an email stating that someone would be contacting me to confirm my appointment.
When we showed up, the lady up from said that we were suppose to call to confirm our appointment. I told her according to my email, it says someone is suppose to call me and if I had any questions I needed to call them. She also advised me that they were not accepting new patients for primary doctors. My questions are, doesn't your website state that? Also she stated that the office manager that typically calls to confirm appointments haven't been in the office since Thursday. How is that my problem? Those phone calls should've been delegated to someone else in the office.
My fiancé and I are very busy and work is our priority. I feel like we waisted our time. They attempted to blame me for not calling them. Their website should be updated. It's completely misleading. She offered to make me an appointment for the weight-loss for next Monday.
No thank you, I will take my business elsewhere. Somewhere who is more organized. Not to mention, their office was super hot inside, as if their AC wasn't working. Quite uncomfortable while waiting when it's over 100 degrees outside,

Although I did have to wait 5 wks to get an appt I will say I am pleased thus far. When I came in I had I had to bring in my two children (under 3) and they were restless. I felt terrible that one of them was kind of starting to have a melt down while Dr Kohn was trying to explain the program to me. He did everything to calm her down and make it work out, to include making her a "ballon." Blowing up a glove and drawing a face on it. He was so kind. And as for results: I'm 9 days in and down 10lbs and 3 inches in my waist. I couldn't be more satisfied. The weekly weight ins are quick and convenient. No appts needed and plenty of walk in time frames to get them done. I'd highly recommend him and his weight loss program.

The first week I lost 9 pounds when I went to my first weigh in, but I could see a difference (weight loss) in my face on the third day of Dr. Kohn's weight loss plan for me.

The back-office staff are nice and friendly, and the facility is always clean.

I purchased the 2-Month package through Groupon, and lost 30-pounds in a total five weeks. Within this time period, I was able to change my eating habits as well.

I love Doctor Kohn. I see him for both weight & medical. I found him when seeking a lasting weight loss solution. After seeing him for weight & making great progress in my weight loss, I got to know him and realize his depth of knowledge. I had some medical issues and was prescribed medication by my medical doctor at the time. The medication prescribed had a very adverse effect on me & resulted in a very scary incident landing me in the hospital. That's when I moved my medical treatment to Dr. Kohn as well. He is fabulous. My husband now sees him as well as my adult son. Yes, the wait for an appointment can be a few weeks initially. Yes, you can wait in the office & exam room for longer than you may like before you see him. However, he will take as much time with you as you need & be more thorough than any doctor you've seen. He will get to the cause of your medical issues, not just treat symptoms. Dr. Kohn is worth the wait. He truly is one of the best doctor's I've seen. Any great doctor I've been to has a wait and is worth the wait because those doctors truly tend to their patients. Dr. Kohn is certainly one of the great!

After waiting on hold for 25 minutes to make a New Patient appointment, being scheduled 4 weeks out for a severe life threatening disorder, then being told that if I dont call to confirm my own appointment that my appointment time could be given away to someone else since they dont know me yet because Im a new patient (keeping in mind that I will be taking off work for the appointment so if my appointment time is given away I cant re schedule due to work for a long time) its not a good way to start off a report with a new Doctor, the vibe was bad. I will find another Doc that has time for me, can get me scheduled promptly and treat me courteously as a New and Permanent patient. Very disappointing as I have heard great things about this Doctor. Too bad the clinical (front desk) policies kept me from a great Doc! =(

To any and all who read this.. I have been seeing Dr. Kohn for about 9 years now. I first started going to him because had some female issues that caused me to have a hysterectomy. I had never been over weight in my life but after that at 5’8” went to 198lbs and not matter what I tried I couldn’t lose anything. I tried every diet and exercise plan you can think of nothing worked. So a friend of a friend sent me to Dr. Kohn.
At first like everything else it didn’t work. Dr. Kohn and I both could figure it out. But, Dr. Kohn wouldn’t stop until he figured out why and what was happening. How he was going to make this work for me. I couldn’t believe his determination he wasn’t going to give up until he got it figured out and you know what he did it!! After about four months I went from 198 and not being able to lose at all to dropping the weight and feeling so much better. Within six to seven months I dropped about 60lbs. I looked and felt like my old self again.
After that I started going to Dr. Kohn as my regular MD. I have found though the years he is one of the most through, Reliable, Trustworthy, Sunnier, Honest, Caring, Repeatable, Hardworking doctor that are still out there for use not the insurance companies and yet he’s still Diligently works at bring the latest research available to his practice has Respected Integrity for his determination in his research. Respected Integrity doctors I have found. I would recommend him hands down!! If he doesn’t know what’s going on with you he’ll figure it out. If not he’ll know just where or who to send you too so you will get the help you need to take care of what it is your needing.
