But finally filled out the application for handicap placard. And it was faxed to DMV. Not surprised I received a letter from the DMV stating the medical part was not completed, called the office 3 times with no response so I have no idea if the fixed it and faxed it back to the DMV. Now I was suppose to get my placard back in January. And it's now June. When I was in the office may 15th I was told they were going to order 3 MRI'S. Now I know that desert radiology will call you to schedule with in 3 days of receiving referrals it's been 3 weeks so I called DR and they never received the referrals. So when I call and have to leave several messages about the referrals I doubt I'll get a call back. my next appointment with LV neurology is in September will I have had the MRI'S I was referred to Dr Mahajan by Dr. Riggio, but I ended up seeing a APRN, and I'm still not feeling confident with my care. Dr. M sometimes pops is head in to say hi but know real contact. Last appointment was in September with APRN, tests were ordered but her earliest return appointment isn't till March. To me that's a long time to get results, a phone appointment is scheduled for 2/15/26 On Friday 1/2. I started to have mild numbness and tingling in my calves and feet. Left a message for Dr. Muhajan on Saturday, called Monday spoke with an assistant to tell what was going on Thursday I was told to have a nerve conjunction test in April. IT'S NOW JUNE Had nerve conjunction test 2/13/26. DR. M ordered PT for neck and upper back PT center never received referral. I called spoke with medical assistant in April Another referral was suppose to be sent, Pt center never received it. spoke to referral dept. Today and the referral was emailed to me but it doesn't say anything thing about upper back. Can't get pass AI Marie to talk to Celestina about the upper back. Second problem when I had nerve test I was charged my $250 deductible even tho I all ready paid it at cardiologist but I paid the $309.82 thinking I would get a refund .NO that didn't happen. spoke with Billing twice refused refund because of a $390 charge the says R99 bcbs savings applied. My co pay is going to be $20 no matter what the ins. Pays. Since your a contracted provider So why can't I have my refund of $ 289.82. Just doesn't make sense . I know you’re going to say someone will reach out to me but they never do. Tired of going in circles trying to get all this taken care of.

Years ago, I would have recommended this office due to the attentive providers. Unfortunately over time, however, they have become even more disorganized and rushed. After waiting months, every appointment that I schedule gets cancelled only days or weeks before it’s to be had — and the best they can offer is to reschedule me another three to four months out. When time is of the essence for patients, this is unacceptable.

I don't know what else to do to talk to an actual person at this practice. I have called and left 3 messages about a prescription in the past 3 weeks that have been ignored. Yesterday I called the appointment line because that is the only way I know how to get a person on the phone. I asked to speak to the manager, was transferred, and left yet another message that was never returned. I am beyond frustrated.

I had my first appointment at Las Vegas Neurology Center on 8/29/2024. I moved here from another state where my migraines were under control but I am struggling to receive medical treatment from this practice and have spent much of this year in pain due to their lack of follow-through in submitting promised prescriptions. It has been 10 months and I am still trying to get the attack drug (Nurtec) that I was prescribed on my first visit. I have called many, many times over the past 10 months and left messages that were rarely returned. The only person I have been able to get to answer the phone is the scheduling manager, Bobby. While he has been helpful with escalating my concerns to higher management, it has been two and a half weeks since our first phone call and my PA still hasn't submitted a prescription for my medication. When I did speak to a medical assistant, she repeatedly tried to send the prescription to a pharmacy that does not take my insurance. I just need them to send the prescription, along with a prior authorization form explaining why I need this specific drug, to a pharmacy that takes my insurance. As they are a medical office that does take my insurance I have trouble understanding why this has been such a challenge for them.

I recently had an appointment with the wonderful professionals at Las Vegas Neurology Center. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted with kindness and respect. The first professional I saw was Gina Villarnovo, one of the nurse practitioners there. Gina was very friendly, kind, compassionate and professional as she interviewed me. She allowed me to explain certain circumstances pertaining to her questions. After that, Dr Robert Balsiger came in the room and asked more questions. He has a very good bedside manner, being kind and professional as well. I felt confident leaving the office knowing that they will take good care of me with my neurological needs!

My mother was referred to this office for neurological testing. The consultation with Dr. Sheikh went smoothly and they were accommodating to get her back in for the actual testing quickly. However obtaining the results or even being able to talk to a person has proven impossible. It has been 20 days since testing took place. Our referring doctor as not recieved results after multiple requests. Every time I call I get stuck with the AI robot "Maria" that seems competent to take down our pertinent information and says she'll get it to the "right people" who will reach back out to me by the next day which has never happened. No matter how many times I ask "Maria" to talk to an actual person, she transfers me back to the switchboard and no matter which selection I make it eventually end up back at "Maria". I ask her for someone in Dr. Sheikh's office, she tells me there's no provider there by that name. I spell it for her and get transferred back into the loop where I end up back at "Maria" who starts the whole cycle of weirdness over again.
If they were providing some kind of vanity service maybe waiting 3wks for results wouldn't seem like a big deal. But to those of us out here in the world trying to get help for their loved ones dealing with dementia and other serious neurological disorders this place has been a nightmare...

My husband went to see Dr. Mahajan as a follow up to being hospitalized. Dr. Mahajan is fantastic and we would recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist. Having said that, it is a tremendous shame that he works at this practice! He ordered a couple of tests for my husband and we were told at checkout that someone would call us the following week to schedule appointments for the tests. Someone called us the following week but it was for a test that my husband already had in the hospital. It is now 4 weeks later and no one has called to schedule appointments for my husband for the right tests! I have repeatedly tried to contact the practice but their phone system is a nightmare!

Needless to say we will not go back to this practice. We wish Dr. Mahajan was affiliated elsewhere because, as stated earlier, he is a wonderful doctor!

Update: It's about two weeks since I put up my review and the facility just called to make an appointment for my husband for the test he should have had weeks and weeks ago! My husband has an appointment with another doctor and will have the test there.

I came in today to get my EEG done, and Noah did a fantastic job! I know I can talk a lot and tend to annoy other people, but I just can’t help it… Noah was very happy to hear everything that I had to say. This office does a very poor job at returning phone calls and following up. This has been an ongoing process since April 3, 2026. With lack of communication with the medical staff, we are unable to resolve our issue at once. We have been contacting the office nearly everyday, left numerous messages and not a call back. We’ve expressed to the front desk and the medical assistant, the scheduling staff, the manager of our request being time sensitive and crucial to address due to job related concerns. Transfer after transfer, only to receive a voicemail. Voicemails after voicemail only to receive no call back. When you speak with front desk to express your concerns, they show lack of empathy and will transfer your call mid sentence. From the reviews, it seems we are not the only ones undergoing the same issue.

We still have concerns that have not been resolved. Till this day we are still waiting on updates regarding referrals that were requested back in February 2026. Left voicemails regarding the referrals a number of times and still have not received and updates. If it weren’t for the patient to take it amongst themselves, they would still be out of physical therapy. Again, this is unacceptable and poor practices. If my partner did not have someone to help and advocate for him to alleviate stress that triggers his flare ups, I can only imagine patients under your care who struggle and have to advocate for themselves.

On another note, we’ve addressed new symptoms my partner has been experiencing. Addressed the concerns and still waiting on the follow up of that.

This clearly seems to be an issue within your office and should be a great concern as these are real patients that are under the care of your staff.

The Providers are great......... BUT............I got a call about abnormal Keppra levels coming back low. This may explain why I'm having active symptoms. The Medical Assistant called to notify me April 7th. Today is April 24th and was supposed to call me back with the plan. I still haven't heard from the office even after leaving 2 voicemails with the front desk manager Stephanie. Iv requested a call back from the front desk managers manager since Stephanie is too busy. I arrived at 235pm for my appt at 3pm. I was taken back about 250pm. I specifically asked would they do my consultation by 345 because I had another appt in the same building at 4pm. This place is like an assembly line..packed constantly. I've been visiting for 9 months now and nothing has been done other than multiple test which contribute to their bottom line. I received missed call from them when I tried to return but encountered their ridiculous AI answering service..which I never received a reply to. I also tried emailing them, again no response. I was recently notified by my insurance of a denied approval for medication requested by LVNC but I have nothing from them. In reading reviews, their standard answer is to contact them by phone or email..the same unresponsive process people are complaining about. Parking is ridiculous here..it took me 20 minutes to find a place to park. I've begun to thing that they are more focused on taking you money, than caring for you. I'm looking for a new practice with a competent office practice staff and caring physicians who respond to patients when contacted

Great Drs but really bad office operations. I was on hold for 30 minutes for the call to "drop." I call the line again for schedule testing and am back at the bottom of the queue. I wait and once again am dropped. By the 3rd time I call back to make my testing appointment that was ordered by their doctor and waited another 30 minutes to get their voicemail. I am on week 3 trying to get a hold of someone to schedule me. I have wasted 1 hr and 30 minutes trying to get through to someone. I decided to select a different option to get to a human and when I do they route me to the SAME line and queue. And I am back at square one. I have had to push my follow ups with Dr since my tests are not completed. I don't think I will ever get them scheduled. What a nightmare.

I have had a rare condition in my hands for eight years. Dr. Balsiger was the first to explain it in detail. The entire visit from check-in to check-out was easy. Every staff member was friendly and courteous and seemed to genuinely care about me. I’m excited to have a team on my side.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to recommend that you find another neurology practice. My experience with this one and that of my wife is that they are unresponsive, impossible to get a hold of, uncommunicative, do not follow up, and apparently are so overbooked that they make appointments 3 months in the future.

I have been coming here for about 5 years I see Dr.Kamen for Parkinsons disease and I see Bernadette Sinsorion for other Nuerlogical reasons from the checkin desk to the medical Assistants and Doctors you will never go anywhere better. They really care about there patients and I will never go anywhere else. I wrote this before Dr. Kamen was no longer a Doctor hear. I was told he misdiagnosed a lot of patients. I'm not sure if I will stay with this center or go elsewhere I'm doing research on the new doctor they assigned me to.

The two times I have been here, I waited to see a dr for over one hour past my actual appointment time. Last time I was here, they told me they would call me to set up testing within two weeks. They never did so I called. They told me to be patient that they were back up. I called again a month later and they said please be patient they will call to set up appointments for testing. Never did. I called again about another month later and the lady said to stop calling and to be patient. No disrespect, but I was beyond patient waiting for almost 4 months by the fourth time I called, my referral had expired. So I had to go back to my primary care dr and get ANOTHER referral. Las Vegas Neurology couldn't get me in for 3 months. It has now been over a year and NOTHING has been resolved and I have had no testing. I am beyond frustrated as I am suffering in SEVERE pain! Crying myself to sleep every night in pain and waking up barely able to move and crying in pain. I was just informed there are still two people ahead of me. Which means I probably wouldnt be seen for another 2 hours which makes 3 hours late appointment. I am going to ask my primary care for a referral for different place. DO BETTER!

First let me say I was so impressed , I was a nurse for 30 plus years in California,untill I became disabled due to a work injury. Dr Mahajan reminded me of how times use to be and why I became a nurse. He has such a humble , happy pleasant attitude , shook my hand , explained everything and was extremely gentle , fast and efficient. I had a nerve study done before and if you had one you know it’s not a pleasant experience, having had them before in the past . He made it painless . I left so pleasantly happy and surprised at the care I received . I also would like to recognize Dillion the tech that did the first part of the study . All I can say is wow , god bless and I hope everyone can experience this kind of care !! Dillion was nice , fast and efficient. Thank you both so much !!!

Dr Mahajan He has a big heart carrying he takes the time to talk to you & It explains the problems u might have, his assistant Amy she's the best so friendly she keeps her word calling u on everything appts etc.

Calling the office front deck is a nightmare
Never get threw.
So make sure you have Dr Mahajan phone # ex line Amy will call u back the same day

I was referred to this place I got there at my scheduled time Worried I wasn’t gonna make it, but I got there in time Checked in waited 20 minutes, which was fine that’s the norm. Then they called me back into a room. The lady who took me back in the room had my paperwork in her hand and said oh yeah we even have your blood work OK great An hour goes by no doctor So my brother, who was with me asked when will the doctor be in all he’s running behind? OK, another hour passes by no doctor by the time 5 o’clock came I started to get hot under the collar so I went to the front and told them to cancel my appointment. I better not be charged Because I showed up, but the doctor didn’t then the lady who originally put me back in the exam room told me they lost my paper work that’s why Doctor didn’t come in? What excuse me? I don’t know if I can believe this because she had my paperwork in her hand when she first put me In the exam room I seriously think that this doctor either overbooked himself or the people in the front probably overbooked him but either way be prepared to wait hours upon hours By a time 5 o’clock came, I lost my patience so I couldn’t wait anymore. I left. But I strongly feel if a doctor doesn’t know how many patients he has to see or if the paperwork gets lost what else he doesn’t know how to do? That’s the real reason I left
