This place looks good in the pictures but is a literal dump. Trash everywhere, dirty parking lot, dead plants, the parking lot looks like it has never been repaired or cleaned and over flowing trash which attracts rats. Yet its a medical facility!

Never have I seen a Dr practice that has absolute no concern for actually treating and hearing their patients. As I sat in the surgical center awaiting another lumbar shot that I aggressively have said does not help and in fact makes things worse I heard 3 other patients also stating they DON'T WANT INJECTIONS but this clinic forces you to take unnecessary treatments in order to fill your medication rx. It is extremely sus that every patient in the practice all are in need of the same shot yet they all say no relief comes from said shot. This is a pill mill that forces you to get unneeded injections month after month even though you emphasize there was no relief.
If you went to a restaurant for dinner and ordered a drink that tasted awful would you expect the waiter to try and get you to order another 1. Well that's the strategy of this clinic and they do it with each and every patient

This place was the absolute worst! I went in on a Saturday for pain management and they had me then and there trying to put a stimulator in my back the same day. The office is very dirty looking with chairs that are all beat up and some on the surgery side covered in duct tape. The day I was there having the stimulator done, one of the nurses I guess didn't have a sitter and had her little boy there in the surgery center like it was a playground, he was about three or four! Then today I was scheduled to have a lumbar injection. My appointment was at 8am. I was there at 7:45. I had to take paratransit there and they were scheduled to pick me up between 9-9:30. At 9am I still hadn't been seen because I was told they were in a meeting! Why then was i scheduled for 8 if they were going to be in a meeting. I left and I was beyond livid. I made it clear I would not be returning! When you call to make an appointment, there is a recoding playing hyping up the place and the doctor who started it. Sounds great. The place is a disaster!

I posted a 5* review of this Pain Institute about 2 years ago. That was when you saw "actual doctors"!!! As of this day I no longer support that 5* review. Every time I go for an appointment there is a different "wannabe doctor" that sees me...now this wouldn't be a problem if they actually cared about your situation. I have asked a few times for a simple request and not one was followed through with. It seems like your just a $$$ to these people!! Its quite despicable!!!

The worst practice I’ve ever been to in my life. My first visit was extremely confusing and traumatising. The doctor didn’t listen to me, ignored my explanation, made assumptions that I was having muscle pain even though I have a neurodegenerative genetic disorder that causes severe nerve pain proven by a DNA test, belittled me based on my age, and then randomly took me to get an injection without briefing me on what it was for and what was going into my body. My whole appointment took almost 2 hours to the point I just had to walk out and leave. I randomly was scheduled another appointment, and when I went in for the appointment for 9:15, I ended up leaving at 10 without being seen which made me late for work again after two front desk workers promised me I’d be seen before 9:45. I have no idea what my treatment plan is. I hope they don’t bill my insurance. Even other patients were visibly and audibly stressed out in the practice. Don’t waste your time.

I sought treatment here for chronic low back pain with pain radiating down my leg. Looking back, I'm disappointed that treatment began without obtaining an MRI first. I later learned I have a large L4-L5 disc herniation severely compressing a nerve, making the injection I received feel like time, money, and discomfort were spent without first identifying the actual problem.

On the day of my procedure, the physician was approximately 45 minutes late. When he finally arrived, he never introduced himself or explained anything. Even more concerning, he initially began prepping the wrong side of my back for the injection before the mistake was corrected by ME. Not a nurse or another medical professional. ME.

The injection provided no relief whatsoever, and after the procedure I never received any follow-up call or outreach to see whether the treatment had helped or whether my symptoms had changed.

My experience left me feeling like I was treated as just another procedure instead of a patient. Given what my MRI ultimately showed, I wish imaging had been obtained before moving forward with invasive treatment.

I’ve been going to the pain clinic for 15 years and they have kept me out of back surgery and I will do anything to not have back surgery. I’ve don’t quite a few things, nerve ablations kept me out of pain for 8 years. Dr. Maduka and Dr. Abbasi are excellent at analyzing the problems that are happening in my back and hips. Sarah at the front office is the best… I would hire her if I had my own business.

I have been going to them for the last month and a half I have gotten shots almost every day all up and down my back I've got epidurals IV pushes and when I got the epidural they said that it was supposed to last for a couple months it lasted a total of the rest of the day I have been in complete and utter pain and when I told them what my spinal surgeon who is one of the best in the country Dr Derek Duke told me the doctor at the pain institute said and I quote BS my spinal surgeon so that I had a fracture in my L4 L5 and I can't do physical therapy the doctor is a pain institute said you can I am going to take the advice of my spinal surgeon who said I need surgery in 2 years and I told the doctor at the pain institute that all the shots are not helping that I'm still in agony I was literally crying the other day when I saw her so she just scheduled me for more shots and I told her she better knock me out for them and pray they work this is the last shot I have with them!

Just be aware that this office does not care about your time you could leave the doctor and go to the pharmacy you will not see your prescription till the end of the day this is Thanksgiving weekend some people are leaving town and because you people can't send a prescription over within an hour which is very reasonable now I have to take a later flight I would never recommend anybody to go to this place you guys are a joke

I have seen complaints about pain management center all over Las Vegas NV. I had a bad experience at a previous company many years ago and said i will never go to one again. I recently had a change of pain management doctors since my insurance changed. I have become disabled 3 years ago and have chronic pain from my ailments. Ive been a registered nurse for 30 years and can no longer work due to my disability. I came here and saw Feryal Hemmati, NP. I have to say that she is the worst provider I have ever had. She was rude, judgement, talked to me with her back facing me, did not fully review my medical history or my medications I take daily. She immediately wanted to schedule me for epidurals without giving me any informed consent. When I tried to refuse, she threatened to discharge me and told me that she is not just going to give me pain medication and If that's all that I want, she will discharge me. This is patient abandonment. She asked me for a urine test 3 times in which I agreed and said yes all 3 times. I'm in a wheelchair so mobility is difficult for me. I was there with my 11 year old granddaughter who helps me. When I gave her urine, she accused me of positive for benzodiazepines in front of my granddaughter. I don't even take any benzodiazepines. I gave her my med list and I wondered if anything like my muscle relaxers or antihistamines can cause a false positive. She was mean, treated me like a drug addict and never cracked one smile. I never told her that I was an RN. I saw her for the second time yesterday and she was just as rude and accused me again of being positive for benzodiazepines. I'm a grandma of 7 grandkids, one of whom I raise. I'm in a wheelchair. How can she treat me this way. I finally told me I was an ER nurse for 30 years and she had an attitude and said " well if you gave Been a nurse then you should know about all this". I am so frustrated with her and I really want to change doctors but I'm so limited from my insurance.

Unprofessional, dangerous and uncaring. I started with the blue diamond location and because of the terrible customer service, being unable to ever get anyone on the phone I asked to go to this location. I was up front and open about my issues (seizures, chronic pain) and tried to advocate for my medical needs. I was given a PA. RUDE! Over talks you when she asks a question. The push push what they want for you. Injections, changes in medication. Not ever listening to what has worked for me. Would not allow me to answer fully. I am no out of medicine and have no options in place. I have to go and find a new doctor now. An appointments is weeks away. When I am in pain I cannot sleep and at high risk for a seizure. And withdrawals from not having medicine I have been taking for over 20 years? In Nevada they take your license away when you have a seizure. I agreed to their stupid injections into my shoulder. I am in so much pain now that I cannot lift my arm at all. No paperwork, no idea what they shot into my shoulder. Owneer who did the injection wasn't wearing gloves. I ask for help after the injections and they tell me to go to another doctor. They do not want to be bothered. Lastly. And you will...be put on hold....listen to their damn recording. It sounds like they are selling real estate. Quacks! I have contacted channel 13 and a lawyer. Mean and uncaring how they treat people who need them.

Don't go to this facility please. You will not get the help you need. Living with severe pain is unbearable, please find a pain management that will manage you pain. This one is not it. I need a total knee replacement and surgery to my shoulder and couple discs in my back out of line. I'm in severe pain all the time. They gave me ibuprofen 800mg and some iv push for my fatigue. Bad experience in every way. The doctors lack empathy, don’t listen and are very dismissive. They never answer the phone, been trying to call for 2 weeks now. Nobody knows the doctor’s schedule and will either book out really far in advance or they’ll schedule you and then cancel. Almost every single appointment gets cancelled last minute. One time they called me to cancel my appointment literally as I was arriving. Another time I waited in the lobby for 2 hours and then was told my doctor was leaving because he had other places to be. When I did get a shoulder injection the doctor didn’t use anything to numb it, although I had asked for it and verified that he would, he injected directly into my joint and I screamed. He said “you’ll be fine” and walked away as I sat there crying. I told him when I had this done at other places they would freeze the area to numb it he said “we don’t have that” I HATE IT HERE. THE ONLY REASON I CONTINUE COMING HERE IS BECAUSE MY INSURANCE WONT LET ME GO ANYWHERE ELSE

The first problem you will encounter, if you try to go to this doctor's office, is that you will be hung up on almost every time you call. It will either ring & ring and then they hang up, or it will ring and then hold music will play and then they will hang up, or you'll reach a call service lady who isn't even in the office and she'll leave a message which you'll never get a call back about, or if you miraculously reach someone in the office they will put you on hold and then hang up on you.
They will also ignore your pharmacy if they try to request any refills for you.
The second problem you'll encounter is that they are unable to keep their doctors (it probably sucks to work for them just as much as it sucks to be their patient) so you have to be seen again and pay another copay every time you need anything.
They are basically telling me I have to come in every month just to refill some Naproxen & Cyclobenzaprine. They do not even perform a physical exam or anything at these appointments! They just try to push all their specialty procedures on me even when I told them I am not ready to go down those roads yet. I am a 31 year old otherwise healthy female, just trying to manage a little bit of lower back pain, yet they are trying to sell me injections & implants & surgeries!

Otherwise expect to go to the same appointments twice (in the event they even take you) to be seen once.

Always seemed more interested in treating the insurance card vs.the patient. I haven't been there in years, and I just got billed 700 bucks for procedures 4 years ago. Also, be ready to see a new face every 2 months or so...and explain everything all over again. Couldn't seem to get a spinal stimulator approved there...went to another clinic and was immediately approved for it. Procedure staff was always the highlight, doctors seemed capable...not sure where the disconnect was. No one seemed to really care (besides me) that the procedures weren't really helping...just wanted to know when my insurance card would tolerate another procedure.

Dr Kemka is very warm and thoroughly educated when it comes to explaining and asking about your questions and concerns.

Jeff and his staff on the physical therapy side are awesome! I felt amazing after and hopeful.
The girls in the office always take care of me when I need scheduling and remind me of all my appointments.
Highly recommended.

Did not help me at all, scheduled too many appointments and did not help with my pain but added to it. Had me waiting too long even though I came early for them. Receptionist is rude as with the rest of the staff. They also billed me wrongly for over 2,000 dollars because they submitted the bill to the insurance wrong. A huge waste of time.

I've been dealing with pain for years now and the staff and doctors here are great. They actually listen to your concerns and come up with great treatment plans to address you pain. The staff at the Blue Diamond Office I say thank you for everything you do for me...

The worst pain mgmt I've ever been to. They tell me not to worry about my co-payments fir the moment and focus on getting better. Half way through my treatments they tell me they can't continue treatment until I am current on $10,000 co-payments. I had to go elsewhere to seek treatment. BEWARE!!!

The absolute most worthless place you can go to. If you want your time wasted, treated like a puppymill and experience the most rude staff please go see them. The main person to do the injection made me wait for 45 minutes while he took a personal phone call.

Do not go here if you want consistent care you will see a different provider
That will offer you new meds A PA saw me twice ever in all of 12 years decded the treatment I'm getting for 12 years isn't working and wanted to change my meds. Then discharged me without a 30 day supply.
Medical records take forever to send to new Dr prolonging my care. And they dont fix you they just give you profilactics as care to keep you coming back for every review they take down while I'm laid up sick I will post my progress of what this facility is putting me through

I love, love, love this place!!! They have (and continue to) helped me so much!!! They don't just throw pills at you. They take their time, learn your history, form a relationship with you, and then use a multi-pronged approach to treat your pain. They have medication management, surgery center, radiological facilities, and physical therapy all in one bldg. All they need now is a pharmacy!!! Lol. The doctors are great, as are the nurses/med assistants... love, love,love

Dr. Martin is the first doctor I have found in the ten years that I have lived in Las Vegas, that actually seems to know what he is doing! He seems to really care about my level of pain and has been very proactive in finding ways to give me some relief. Unlike past doctors who have just thrown pills at it. I highly recommend him if you are looking for pain management.

I've been going to this office since 2013 when I fractured three of my vertebrae in my back when I was 17 years old. I have seen Dr. Maduka and some of the physician assistants. I think the providers are pretty good at what they do, and by far I think Dr. Maduka is extremely professional, very thorough in his work, and a very trustworthy doctor. He has helped me so much with all of my pain problems. I had blood work drawn last Thursday, I requested the results multiple times and was told I'm not able to receive them unless I sign a release form. So today, I went into the office to do so. Mercedes at the urgent care front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me she would not even so much as show me my results. When I reminded her that it is illegal to refuse to show me my lab results, she started looking around and said she lost them and that there is nothing she can do. I told her I came here on my lunch break from work, and that on the phone she said they were urgent so I need to see them today. She said she didn't care because she can't find them anyways. I said okay, and had my other doctor call and speak to the office manager and explain that I was going to file a HIPAA complaint because of what happened. Now they're saying I can come in today before they close to get my results. So unprofessional and annoying.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any doctor's office.

My "Physician Scavenger Hunt" (GP>Neurologist>MRI>Paint Clinic) finally brought me to a place that could give me the spinal epidural I needed to relieve lower back & leg pains. My appointment on 7/8/2016 was with Dr. Scott Martin. After 96 minutes in waiting room, Dr. Godwin Maduka appeared and announced that Dr. Martin was suddenly "on vacation." At that point I almost got up and left. However, Dr. Maduka also advised me that he was the CEO and would be taking personal care of me, so I stayed and we discussed my medical issues. He listened to me and agreed 100% with my prognosis. In addition, he immediately scheduled me for the epidural I wanted. I've had 7 prior unrelated medical experiences in my life where I wore a surgical gown. Based on those experiences, the entire 65 minute epidural experience at Las Vegas Pain Instutute was THE BEST I've ever had: Amazingly cordial & efficient staff, absolute ZERO pain when Dr. Maduka (a Harvard Med School graduate) performed the procedure. I walked out of there on my own 2 legs. One day later I've had ZERO pain or discomfort. I can walk, bend, squat ... all like a perfectly healthy adult. This is why despite the 90 minute initial wait, I would give Dr. Maduka and his staff 10 STARS if yelp offered that option.

Only came here because of Saturday hours since I work during weekdays. But I have nothing else positive to say about this place. The desk receptionists are very rude and have nasty attitude towards patients. They don't even say welcome or bye to anyone which I would think are the basics. They also don't even know how to do their job as simple as scheduling appointments correctly. The wait time averages 45 mins. I also was not pleasant with the doctor I saw here. Didn't seem thorough enough for my first visit and felt like he was totally BS'ing me to do this or that procedure when there probably are other alternative options. I'm seeing a different pain doctor at another place now. I do not suggest for anyone to go to this place.
