Doctor Ma, changed out an old bridge with a new implant. Now after a few months for the post to set, I have a new crown. The doctor and team, including Josalynn really did beautiful and pain free work. For this I'm sure grateful. Also, to fun bird atrium just beyond the dental chair, is really quite a show.

My appointment was at 8a.m. Waited 10 minutes because they had a huddle so I didn’t mind because they left a sign by their reception room. Waited another 5 minutes to be called. Hygienist same person who I saw last appointment. Forgot her name , she’s nice and she was fast on the cleaning process. Dentist who saw me after cleaning was also nice . Been a patient here for 5 years( I think but it might be more than 5) and I only had one problem with one of the hygienist and she’s not there anymore. She was too tough cleaning my teeth and some patients also complained. Overall I would recommend, if have dental insurance they will explain how your insurance works with their dental services, payment and co-payment.

Stepped in on Faith today keeping my Dental appointment. Faith is the other side of fear. Going to tje Dentist has been very uncomfortable, painful & feeling like I was not heard when I say "the area is not numb". with the past dentist.Today, Hygienist Linette asked how were my gums feeling & I said, "they are not numb", so she tested around the area & numb the spots that were still tender. She talked me through my deep cleaning as well as asked me, how I was doing comfort wise. Afterwards I met Dr. Baldwin who went over xrays. She was honest & gave me a peep into going forward & what that will look like with the Implants.
Today my Dental life took a turn in the direction of being Value, being Appreciated as a humanbeing as well as showing heart for my apprehension.
I experienced having Peace of Mind, during & afterwards.
The Ladies of the office are always Wonderful & Caring. The ambience is Soothing. I felt comfortable.

My 72 year old husband has been going here for 5 years since moving to Las Vegas.
I agree with a previous review about hidden fees.
They want your credit card on file to charge you for services at will.
My husband and I has refused deep cleaning for years.
However he is entitled to a standard cleaning. Lasting Dental will no longer see him at 72 years of age, because he refuses deep cleaning.
In a nutshell, he's not worth enough money to them.
No dental provider should make you feel bad for refusing deep cleaning.

Doctor Ma and hygienist Lanette were amazing! They have online intake form so when I arrived, I waited about 30 seconds before I was taken to the exam chair. The hygienist used a “vibrating water pic” (I’m sure it’s called something else) that uses high vibrations and water to clean my teeth. It is way more pleasant than the traditional scrapers that most dentists use. They are fast, gentle and friendly. I have been coming here for the past five or six years and I’d highly recommend them. Lasting Smiles isn’t “drill happy” like dentists are, , so you don’t need to worry about a bogus diagnosis where you are told you need four fillings at once.

Dr. Ghodsi has completed 3 implants for me over the years. This is the doctor you need to choose when getting any dental work completed. Dr. Ghodsi even did a sinus lift for me as well. I had zero problems. His work is so professional and I was a hard case and he was able to take care of all my implants and sinus lift with no problems at all. Experience is everything when choosing a doctor and he far exceeds all expectations I have. Plus, he is an absolutely kind and wonderful doctor. I would never go anywhere else. Don't fall for cheap adds you see in advertisements. Choose Dr. Ghodsi. Plus his Office Staff, Technicians, and Dental hygienists are wonderful. I cannot thank Dr. Ghodsi, Dr. Ma, and the entire Lasting Smiles Dental Care team enough for what they’ve done for my mom.

She was battling chronic sinusitis for a long time and we didn’t know why. Came into their office and they did very highly detailed scans of my mom’s mouth and found out that her upper teeth were causing a massive infection that was infecting her sinus cavities!! She needed her teeth pulled to stop the spread as she already had pus accumulating in her sinuses from the decay of her teeth.

Yesterday we came in and she had her surgery, all her teeth removed, and her temporary upper and lower temporaries put in. Even despite all that work, she didn’t seem as swollen as we expected, and Dr. Ghodsi came over to speak to me while waiting for her.

He has the kindest, warmest, most genuine demeanor I’ve ever seen in a dental surgeon– you can tell he deeply cares about his patients and wants what is best for them and their outcome. Dr. Ma told us when we did my mom’s consult that she “would love to make this transformation happen” for my mom. I felt so confident in both of their abilities. It’s like flying in a plane with turbulence and the pilot comes over the speaker and assures everyone you’re fine. The ride may seem bumpy but the confidence in the pilot gives confidence to the passengers.

Today I was a mess. I needed several procedures and I’m pretty sure I have PTSD from a long time ago that still haunts me. Dr. Baldwin listened to my concerns and not only assured me that she would take care of me…but she followed through and was amazing to me. 1/8/26: I'm updating my original review after reflecting on my last experience. I've been a patient for over 10yrs, and Dr Ghodsi has always been excellent - kind, skilled, and attentive. Due to his limited availability, I was treated by another provider and had a difficult experience.

During an appointment involving fillings and a temporary crown, I was able to feel one of the fillings despite local anesthesia. When I indiciated this, I felt dismissed rather than heard. I typically require additional numbing, which has never been an issue prior.

During my appointment for my permanent crown, it was extremely painful and unexpected, especially as this was my very first crown. Since then, I have become very anxious about dental care and feeling hyper aware of what any feeling in my teeth could be, which has been upsetting after years of nothing but positive experiences.

While Dr Ghodsi and his office staff have been pleasant and wonderful, I personally will not be returning unless I am able to see only him.

I have never been someone who enjoys going to the dentist. In the past, every appointment was extremely stressful then painful so I dreaded going and held off for years before finding Dr Baldwin and becoming a loyal patient. She is the only dentist who has ever made me feel genuinely comfortable, cared for, and relaxed in her chair. Her compassion is unmatched. She’s always checking in on pain levels, explains everything clearly and makes sure you truly feel taken care of.
She was at a different office for years that I went to as her patient, but moved and her replacement was a horrible experience so I am grateful for Google as that was the only way I could find her since her old location was not willing to lose me as a patient. Which reminded me how rare her care is! Her energy is warm, kind and inviting. She’s truly so sweet. You can tell how much she loves helping people maintain their dental health.
If you want a dentist that actually makes you enjoy going to the dentist for anything, she is the one! I recommend her with my whole heart! Also this office she is at is beautiful & calming. Such a serene experience overall!

On April 3, 2024 Dr Ghodsi and his.amazing team completed my full mouth restoration with implants on the top and bottom. I am thrilled with my beautiful new smile, being able to eat and taste my food and no longer contending with the years of embarrassment of poor fitting upper denture and discoloration of existing teeth and partial on the bottom. The process including surgery was fully explained to me and went exactly as described. I had not seen a dentist or a dental hygienist in a couple of years due to the sensitivity on my teeth. Yesterday I had a cleaning done by Linette Garcia. It was excellent! Although my anxiety was a the highest, the level of care and experience took care of my anxiety. Also, I had three small cavities and Dr. Karina Ma made room to take care of them that same day! She has silk hands! I left so happy with my dental work! Because of this experience, I'm not afraid to make my next appointment in six months.

I'm more terrified of the dentist than almost anything else... but I've never had anything but good experiences here. I needed some crowns and fillings and they offered sedation which was crucial for me. Scheduling is easy, the front desk staff is rad, the hygienists are wonderful. They helped me make a care plan and explained the insurance and any additional costs not covered, which was also awesome. No surprise bills. I really can't say enough nice things about this place.

Dr. Ma and her office staff are amazing! I had a friend see her for implants and he couldn't have been happier, so making the choice was easy! They took the time to hear my concerns and didn't make me feel like there was no hope- and that I could live with my smile again. Called on a Wednesday, got into an appointment on Thursday and was in for my procedure the following Tuesday. What other dentists told me was over a year (or more) for any noticable results - I left with a smile I could be happy with while healing!!!!

Watch out for hidden charges.
If you’re not happy with Dr. An’s work and decide to speak up or file a complaint, they’ll charge you even more with “phantom fees”, just to force you to come back and “fix their mistake” — only to make you pay extra.

This is the dirty tactic some dental clinics are using nowadays.
I had to cancel my credit card because this clinic tried to overcharge me, even though you’re not allowed to leave the office unless your balance is paid in full.

They’re predators — hungry for money.
You pay everything upfront, before any procedure…
So tell me, how do I suddenly have a “phantom balance”?

Dr. An has more negative reviews on this platform than any other dentist I’ve seen.

My advice to you:
Do NOT come to this clinic.
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before falling into this trap — and now I’m stuck in a nightmare.

OFFICIAL COMPLAINT – DENTAL MALPRACTICE / PATIENT MUTILATION

I am filing this complaint after visiting more than five dentists in less than a year, trying to avoid being forced into getting a dental crown. The vast majority of dental offices refuse to perform a root canal unless the patient agrees to — or is pressured into — paying for a crown.

The last dentist I visited promised they would not perform any unnecessary procedures. They specifically stated they would only perform the root canal. I believed them. I trusted them. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced.

This predatory, profit-driven practice took advantage of my good faith. Instead of honoring their word, they deliberately over-prepared my tooth — shaving off more than half of it from the sides — leaving it exposed, fragile, and essentially destroyed.

It appears that Dr. MA either lost control of the drill or intentionally continued removing healthy tooth structure far beyond what was necessary, reducing it to less than half its original size. The result: the gum is now exposed, and the tooth is no longer functional.

To make matters worse, this dentist is now falsely claiming that the tooth already had a crown. That is not true. The tooth had a cavity filling, not a crown — something clearly shown and confirmed by the X-rays.

Because of their actions, I was left with no choice but to pay for a crown that I never needed in the first place. This is unethical, unprofessional, and in my opinion, a clear act of mutilation motivated by financial gain.
I’ll be seeking legal advice.
And I will be submitting this complaint to the Better Business Bureau and providing all supporting evidence, including X-rays, documentation, and online reviews that reflect this dentist’s pattern of misconduct — as seen on Yelp and Google.

Finding a great dentist in Las Vegas is a hit and miss, but I was fortunate enough to hit a gold mine. As a new patient, Lasting Smiles Dental Implant Center, located at 4011 Meadows Lane, Suite 101, received me with cordial and professional consultation. Dr's. Sharam Ghodsi, along with Karina Ma and Vivi Baldwin, could not be more personable and professional. From consultation to dental reconstruction, I could not say how impressed I was with advance dental technology and the final results. One of the greatest moments was when Dr's. Ma and Baldwin gave me a mirror to look at the finish product and before looking in the mirror, hearing the Dr's say, I think the reconstruction was perfect...and in my fear of putting my expectation bar too high, it wasn't high enough...I was extremely happy with my new smile...you guys are the best... the whole process took several weeks, and the follow up hygienist, Lynette was just as personable and professional as was the intake staff... thank you all...!

I have completed my full mouth Implants, and I am very happy.....
I have had a good experience with everyone who works in that office, special thanks to Dr. Ma who was the main person in charge of my procedure...The process was not as debilitating as I thought it might be there was some discomfort (which of course is to be expected) I did manage to go for a 17 mile bicycle ride the next day, sorry Dr. Ma (I do not think she was happy with that decision) The first couple of days were real good I did not take pain killers. But after the steroids are finished (about 5 days ) I started taking Ibuprofen, they are not recommended nor needed while taking the steroids, It is then when you have the most discomfort the Ibuprofen really helped. I did not take nor did I need anything stronger.My decision to do this was not for cosmetics as my teeth looked good already , my teeth are highly sensitive and I was tired of getting expensive dental work over and over again, I believe in the long run this is the most cost effective solution for a lifelong dental strategy....
My biggest love, besides the look is being able to eat and drink hot and cold food and drinks without the pain...
I highly recommend if you are on the fence doing this procedure to do it at this location, I had a lot of anxiety about doing full implants before, but now I am extremely happy I did it, again thanks to Dr. Ma and all the wonderful staff At lasting Smiles......

After looking into having my implant procedure done at 5 different places in the Las Vegas area I chose Lasting Smiles to do the work for me. They started this procedure one month ago. I have to tell you I'm very happy with everything I've experience with this company. All of the staff there have been absolutely wonderful. Dr ghodsi did porcelain veneers for my adult son that looked amazing. He was so happy with them. Although two of them have fallen out. I still love this dentist for him and I sent a letter to see if they would try to fix his mouth cuz right now it looks bad. I have PTSD from dentists in my past and require sedation for all procedure's. They have been very accommodating and treat this with respect. Considering I am in my. 60’s and have dealt with so many that have not it is quite refreshing. I just wish that insurance companies would have the same respect and cover the sedation aspect.

I had both complete arches done by Dr. Ghadsi and although it took a bit of time it was the best dental decision I have made in my life. It has been five years or so and my smile is fantastic with no problems. The money spent is actually money saved in the long term. The only dental work I will need for the rest of my life will be semi-annual cleanings and my own daily waterpik maintenance. Dont waste time and money on never-ending root canals and such and get implants, you will be so happy that you did. Dr. Ghadsi is the best implant surgeon/dentist in the western United States and his office staff are all top-notch.

I had an emergency with my 89 year old uncle who suffers from mid dementia. He needed to be seen to treat a horrible pain in his tooth.
