This was a traumatic experience. Dr. Godfrey is a terrible dentist and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. He rushed me into getting a bridge on my first visit, took my money and as soon as I paid in full his attitude shifted. It was towards the end of day and he gave me local anesthesia (not enough) and didn’t give me enough time for it to take effect. (He was rushing) as soon as he started I felt the worst pain of my life. Sharp pain that made me tear up and I felt like passing out. I told him to stop and that I was in pain. He became combative, and told me I had dental anxiety multiple times and that I was making this difficult! He then proceeded to tell me most of his patients just take the pain…… I was in pain and felt so helpless and vulnerable. My tooth had already been drilled into. I advocated for myself and even almost walked out and told him I wanted a refund. He then proceeded to tell me he could not work with me unless I was professional. While he was being unprofessional and cruel to me as his patient. I never cursed at him or even raised my voice. I voiced my pain and told him I didn’t want to be spoken to this way. This is supposed to be a medical professional that you entrust your care to, and he’s being combative and demeaning mid procedure as I’m in severe pain. I felt like passing out. I told him I was not going to take the pain, that I felt like passing out. He continued to try and gaslight me and said that I had low pain tolerance and again told me I had dental anxiety. For context I had a 5 month infection on a failed root canal so it was extremely inflamed. Of course it was extremely sensitive and I needed more anesthesia and time for it to take effect. He then “apologized” and said he was sorry if I felt he talked to me a certain way. Talk about condescending. He ended up giving me more anesthesia and finished the job. This was the worst experience of my life and I’m traumatized by this. Don’t go here. Look at the other 1 start reviews, they have very similar experiences. He’s a monster. Don’t go here and make sure you always advocate for yourself. We are paying for a service, they are not doing us a favor. Dr. Godfrey failed at his commitment to the patient care he once took when he became a dentist.

I am from out of town and had a dental emergency. They were able to get me in the very next day! Their scheduling system is super easy, and the front desk staff helped me with insurance and billing. The dental assistant and dentist were very professional and welcoming. They explained the options for procedures and helped me make the most affordable and effective choice. The office itself is very nice. All the dental chairs are in individual rooms, so you get to be in your own space during procedures. I was treated with respect the moment i arrived. The receptionist took my info and let me know exactly what was going to happen. I then went to the hygenist who took xrays and explained them to me. This office is amazing! I called them this morning at 9am in SEVERE pain and they were able to see me at 10am. As soon as I opened the front door, I was greeted with smiles and kind voices to go along with the kind faces. I filled out the paperwork and did not have to wait long at all. They took me back, took X-rays, then I was explained my treatment options. I chose to have my tooth pulled. They numbed me up, waited for it to take effect, then the tooth was pulled. I only have amazing things to say about Dr. Tom Godfrey and his staff from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out! Check in so easy & so fast I was back with in 5 minutes of my appointment time. I had gone in for a tooth extraction and was supper nervous but Dr. Godfrey’s team made me feel so comfortable from the X-rays to my treatment plan/insurance being explained professionally all the way up to my tooth getting pulled. Dr. Godfrey is amazing and so is Karen his assistant. I was out of there in a hour tooth pulled & with a temporary bridge put in! If anyone is looking for a 5 star dentist office look no further. I’ll be back in 2 weeks for my permanent bridge and will continue my dental care with this office!

Lone Mountain Dental always comes through for me. They helped me solve a possible infection, and some pain and sensitivity problem. I got x-rays, an exam and consultation for $50. The dental staff also gave me sound dental advice about getting back in the habit of regular cleanings. My mother went to the dentist past friday and they extracted 2 teeth. They did not send her prescription to CVS. She was in pain during the weekend. She left many voicemails and still nothing until she called Monday after 11am after they have been opened for 2 hours. Employee was blaming CVS didnt fill and my mother called CVS that Friday herself and CVS did not receive the prescription.

We are very disappointed in the service and that none of the employees took responsibility. My mother went 2 days without antibiotics and they are closed on the weekend. Very unprofessional and will not recommend

I had a permanent crown placed at this office that required multiple remakes and never fit properly. I experienced ongoing discomfort and ultimately required a root canal on the same tooth. A second dentist confirmed the crown had open margins and occlusal issues and needed to be replaced. I paid out of pocket to have the work corrected elsewhere.

When I tried to ask questions about the treatment, the dentist did not communicate effectively, making it difficult to understand the plan or what issues were being addressed.

More concerning than the cost and time was the loss of trust in the dentist, who I relied on to uphold his fiduciary responsibility and professional judgment. I recommend seeking a second opinion if concerns arise after crown placement.

I absolutely love this dentist and my dental hygienist! The wait is very very little. The staff is also outstanding. At the office, they take you in right away, and they are amiable and diligent.Everyone knows what they’re doing there. I hate procedures and I only get them when needed. They were so great I got a same day appointment. I was in so much pain and needed a tooth extracted they made sure the extraction did not hurt and the extraction was done so fast . All the employees were very nice . I’m definitely going back

I first had brought my mother in, she absolutely loves the experience the doctor is very knowledgeable and kind. Next I brought my father in and he also rated it five stars . One got a bridge the other got three crowns and they have financing available. They're pricing is reasonable. I absolutely love this cleanliness of the clinic and the front desk they're also pretty great!

Unfortunately, I have to update my review after having multiple experiences with this office. While they do have a convenient text message system that confirms when you’ve left a message, they never return calls or texts. Then, they mark your record as a no-show and charge a no-show fee. It’s really disappointing because the dentist himself is great — I used to recommend him to everyone. However, an office that handles things this way and doesn’t work with patients isn’t one I can recommend anymore. Especially when they are the ones at fault, not the patient.

(Original review after first visit: I am incredibly grateful to have found this dental office! From beginning to end, it was the most positive experience I've ever had at a dentist. The office staff was welcoming and professional, and the dental assistants were both friendly and fantastic. The dentist is the best I have encountered in my 47 years of dental visits! If you're feeling nervous or anxious about visiting a dentist, I highly recommend choosing this office first. I drove 45 minutes to get here, and it was absolutely worth it!)

Had a root canal and crown dome in lees than 3 hours. Dr. Tom and Rameriz were a great team. Such a great experience! If you need a root canal or crown don’t hesitate, this office has it down! Ellyn is amazing at cleaning teeth too!

Marilyn was amazing! She is the best dental hygienist I’ve seen in my whole life. She gave great advice while expertly cleaning my teeth. She’s a joy to talk to as well! This dentist is AMAZING! My last dentist ruined my teeth I was in so much pain it was unbearable, every dentist I called didn’t have any availability for at least a month. Lone Mountain Dental saw me the next day after I called and got straight to work. I am so happy and grateful that I found this dentist office, they worked fast and I felt little to no pain during my appointment! all of the staff were so nice and made me feel very comfortable. 10/10 across the board!

Revision: I've left numerous messages for the dentist to actually call me to discuss the $1650 cost for a crown with no root canal. Insurance will only pay a little over $1100. They want me to pay the difference for a porcelain crown on a bi-molar. Although they said they don't do crowns in other matrials, they DID so on 5 of my anteriors. I actually paid thousands to them which insurance didn't cover, some of which they refunded when I discovered they OVERCHARGED. Can the dentist please return my call?
This was my first review: The team at Lone Mountain Dental was extremely professional and patient in answering my questions. My dental hygienist partnered with the office manager to begin discussion of a comprehensive dental plan. The Dentist was very thorough in specifically pointing out immediate concerns.

AVOID!! AVOID !! AVOID !! Made an appt for my dad, I told them he was in pain and needed to get checked and a cleaning and whatever else needed to get done
They get him in...and within a few minutes they say oh you need an extraction go to this other place we will call you to follow up - they NEVER FOLLOW UP. I make him an appt to another dentist they notice a broken tooth with an infection and his gums swollen!! THIS PLACE DID NOTHING. THEY ARE LUCK THE INFECTION didnt get into his blood or anything worse would due to their NEGLECT !! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Great office. Elyn is one of the best dental hygienists I’ve even had. Great location in NW Vegas, too. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to find a different practice because my work schedule is identical to their hours. I lost a filling and needed a dentist asap. They offered a same day appointment but I couldn’t go so I went the next day. I knew I was being fit in so I was prepared for a wait. The doctor could have soaked me for a new filling/overlay but was able to reinstall my original gold filling/overlay. The office staff was very nice and attentive. I will be using them as my regular dentist from now on.
