The Staff, and receptionist are very friendly, inviting, helpful, and accurate. The doctor I seen was a great listener. He was friendly, attentive, and accurate in his work. I’m extremely satisfied with my visit and looking forward to making my home here with this clinic. They currently have 2 locations one in Summerlin area, the other, and which I have made my primary is located in North Las Vegas, MLK location. My husband and I went in to get his physical for the county since we are becoming foster parents. Prior to coming to the appointment I had called and made sure the paperwork wouldn’t be an issue and they informed me it was fine but “outside” paperwork is $45 to be filled out. Before heading back to a room he was charged the $45.

Once we went back to a room is when the paperwork became an issue, AFTER we had already paid. I’d like to reiterate that this form was for a physical exam. Not a psychological exam, not bloodwork, a very simple form simply asking if this person is in good health to become a foster parent.

The nurse or assistant lets us know that the doctor will not fill the form out unless we do lab work and get a note certifying that my husband’s “condition” is “well controlled” from his psychiatrist. My husband has adhd lol. Of course this is frustrating when this office is 40 minutes away from our home, we’ve already paid, and I had talked to front desk before who assured me getting the paperwork done wasn’t an issue. Now, normally, for these types of forms, neither bloodwork nor a note from a psychiatrist are required. And I in fact, did my physical fairly quickly and did not have to do these things. HOWEVER, I understand this office has different protocols but the actual doctor left for the day and didn’t even come into to speak with us or talk to us. These were his instructions relayed by his staff yet he never once came into the room despite my husband being his patient. It truly felt like he saw “adhd” on his chart and immediately discriminated us because he didn’t even come in during this appointment at all.

Our frustrations aside, the most disrespectful part of this visit wasn’t even the time wasted. It was the manner in which both members of the staff spoke to my husband in regards to his “condition.” Stating things like “well we don’t know you, how could we fill this out?” & “this deals with children, we need to make sure we aren’t held liable if his condition isn’t under control.” Mind you, AGAIN, his “condition” is adhd which he has had the entirety of his time at this doctor’s office. To insinuate that adhd would cause someone to put a child in harm or danger is an outrageous and disrespectful claim. All while they didn’t even perform an actual physical. And of course the staff doesn’t know him? Why would they unless he comes in routinely because he’s not healthy. Not once on this form does it state you need to know the patient for a certain amount of time, it does not mention bloodwork, and it does not mention a psychiatric evaluation but again, regardless of their different protocols, the way in which they treated controlled adhd as a debilitating mental condition was beyond rude, disrespectful, & wrong so of course we were absolutely frustrated.

Upon leaving, we were refunded our $45 and the gal at the front desk was even shocked that we didn’t get our form filled out. The other staff member interrupted her and essentially told her not to speak to us. While I understand that my husband and I were visibly upset, it does not help when staff can’t even acknowledge the way we feel and continue to say they need to be careful on their end in case us fostering goes poorly.

We ended up walking into a CVS and getting an actual physical on the spot and had our form filled out no problem and up to standard. This only confirmed that we were being singled out for either profit through more referrals or we were simply being singled out because the doctor and staff there see adhd as a terrible and risky condition to live with. I highly recommend that if you need a physical form, head to CVS minute clinic or any other doctors office where they won’t treat you like your insane for having something very normal.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
I called 15 times over 2 days to get to speak to someone to schedule an appointment, I left numerous messages but no one called me back.
When i managed to get to speak to someone the next appointment was 10 days away so I booked it, I told them my insurance and all was scheduled.
3 days before the appointment I received an email saying it was canceled. I tried to call to confirm this and after 7 attempts I finally spoke with someone and they said the doctor has taken the day off so we canceled your appointment.
The next day I receive a text message confirming my appointment? I was very confused as they said it was canceled, I tried calling throughout the rest of the day and after over 20 times I managed to speak to someone and they said they was unsure of what was going on and someone will call me back ASAP. But no one called me back.
The next day after 5 attempts of me calling I spoke with someone and they explained they canceled my appointment at Summerlin but moved it to MLK location. It would of been nice to of been informed of this but I was just happy to have the appointment.
I went to my appointment to check in and handed over my ID, after a few minutes the lady told me they dont except my insurance. I asked is this the same as Summerlin because I was told they except it. She said its the same and not excepted at either practise.

I left and tried to call to see if there was anyone higher up I could confirm this with. The lady that I spoke with at reception answered and I asked if there is a number of a corporate office or anyone I can speak with and she gave me a number.
I called the number and she answered, she gave me their phone number. She said she can get a manager to speak with me, and I was put on hold. She came back and said the manager was busy and the manager will call me back. I asked if this can please be done as I have left numerous messages before and been told someone will call me back and no one ever has. She said if I want an appointment I can pay $149 , I replied with I wouldn't be able to pay $10 for an appointment as no one answers or calls me back. She replied with I'm hanging up on you now. And hung up.
And im still waiting for the manager to call me back

Es la clinica mas iresponsable que conozco, y no les importa la gente, solo quieren el dinero que puedan ganar. En Mayo del 2025 me llega un cobro de casi $400.00 dolares de un servicio que no entendí cual es para lo cual ellos me cargan el dinero que dicen que la aseguranza no les pagó pero que fué de principios del 2024 y me dicen que yo debo de hablar con la aseguranza y aclarar ese problema. le dije al representante de la clinica que antes de dar un servicio, ellos piden autorizacion a la aseguranza y si la aseguranza aprueba el servicio o consulta, la clinica da el servicio y si no es aprovado, no lo atienden a uno y eso es algo que deben de preguntar ellos, no yo.
Ahora me dicen que la aseguranza no quiso pagar un servicio o consulta despues de casi 1 año y que yo debo de reclamar a la aseguranza.
Aparte, las ultimas 10 veces que he llamado aunque sea 10 minutos despues de la hora que habren la clinica que es a las 8:00 AM , no contesta nadie y el sistema manda a que yo deje un mensaje el cual solo me ha regresado la llamada despued de 2 semanas, eso es iresponsabilidad, no comprendo para que tienen 4 personas trabajando en el frente de la clinica si no estan contestando a los clientes o tienen tantos clientes que no pueden atender a todos y solo los dejan esperando. Most offices have either a great front or great back. However at Southern Nevada occupational Health had both. The front is not only knowledgeable they are eager to help with whatever you need. They remember your name and greated me with such warmth.Be it a visit or phone call they take their time with each patient to try to help. If they don't know they'll research the issue and respond immediately. I lucked out find a friendly, warm, and caring staff and Dr's. I will stay with them very long time. I went in to see Dr. Cavalli for my medical condition. I had been to the hospital and referred to a gastrointestinal doctor so I was there for my follow-up. Now, "I was told why was I there, she can't help me with the pain or bleeding." If I'm not mistaken that is the purpose to come to the dr to be diagnosed. She then asked me did I take "Meth" now I don't know if she asked because I was African American but I have never felt more disrespected by a medical professional in my life.

What is the purpose of us having insurance and coming to a doctor if you are asked "why are you here?" Why are you a doctor if you are not going to get to the bottom of things. I left the office 10minutes ago and now on my way to Mt. View hospital with the same symptoms I went to my "Primary" doctor for.

Husband and I was a patient there. He requested a referral for a MRI for his injury knee, shouler, hip, back but, only a referral for a x-ray on the knee. Referral physical therapy on the knee. The physical therapist even agree with him that the doctor show have send a referral for a MRI and not to them. WE HAD TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR WHO IMMEDIATELY SENT THE MRI REFERRAL FOR ALL FOUR PARTS HE WAS REQUESTED AND WITHIN DAYS FOUND OUT HE HAD A SERIOUSLY INJURY IN HE KNEE, HIP AND SHOULDER THAT WILL NEED SURGERY FOR. Ridiculous Wait Times at Doctor Nicknam Amira office

'm writing to express my extreme frustration with the wait times at . I've been a patient here for years, but the wait times have gotten progressively worse. It's becoming a regular occurrence to wait over an hour, even after scheduling an appointment weeks in advance.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but this level of inconsistency is unacceptable. It's incredibly frustrating to have to rearrange my entire schedule to accommodate such lengthy wait times. I would appreciate it if the staff could take steps to improve efficiency and reduce wait times for patients.

Attention Brian office Manager Regarding location on MLK As far as the actual medical visit goes, it was not bad. The bad experience is still happening.
Patient was seen there March 28, didn’t hear back as far as who he was referred to for foot pain. So called in figure out what was going on, was told that the patients usually call in for the info first time hearing that. Got the information a the place they referred him to doesn’t even have a foot specialist there. So why would they refer him to that place. Called around myself and found a place that has appointments this week and will accept his insurance. Was finally able to get ahold of someone , no one’s seems to want to answer their phones ,to give them the info and they said they would send it over. Got a voice mail saying it was faxed over sat, called the place yesterday an they didn’t receive anything, had to call back and leave another voice mail, and a lady called back and said she would resend it . Clarified the phone fax address etc. called today and the place still saying they haven’t received it. What is going on waiting now for someone named Mel get off the lunch break so they can just e-mail it to me.
Horrible customer service, where is the follow through and organization. Seems the only line that wants to answer the phone is the billing department go figure!

Backstory: I had to get a full Osha/Hazwoper physical before being hired to any company that is in my line of work. I first went to Concentra since that is where I usually go to for my work physicals, but they wouldn't do the full physical because a company didn't request it. Even though I explained to them that this is PRE-EMPLOYMENT so I am not hired yet. So because of this, I was panicking because I needed this done to get the job and that they would cost me a job if they didn't help.

Review: So I decided to Google another health place to perform the full physical. I am so grateful I found this place. I messaged them on FB seeing if they would perform the full physical and can get me in next day. I got messaged back by Aaron. He was so helpful in every way. He asked his office/Dr. Friday morning if they could help me and he made sure that he got every test needed and the pricing for everything. He called me back stating that they could do it all for me without a request from an employer and the best part is they got me in that afternoon. I also was able to get my papers signed off on my papers the following week.

They are by far the most helpful medical office I've see. Also, their office staff in North LV was super nice.

I am taking. moment to recognize Southern Nevada Occupational Health Center. Finding good care in the Las Vegas valley has not been easy, or consistant. I have been a patient for over a year and I am so pleased. My last visit request was made on a Friday afternoon and I was fit in, avoiding another quick care visit that would not resolve the issue. The ability to make an appointment and be seen made all of the difference. They have followed up when I had severe asthma issues and gently reminded me to get my testing done when I did not follow through!

I will also add, the staff has been so helpful when I needed copies of documents. I love that the office serves as a training office for PA's. My case is always thoroughly reviewed and overseen by Dr Nicknam or PA Blevins. They are both friendly and caring!

Always losing every single piece of paper work and then got the Nerve to tell the patient well if you don't like it there's plenty of other Drs office like who does that. Going on a month to get my doctor send a referral to get a sleep study done so I can get a cpap. They never answer the phone, so good luck.

This place is absolutely horrible, and I will look into how one can report a place for neglect. My husband was sent for lower back pain for a month, and no mri or anything has been requested/done. He has been ignored of his complaints and pushed out the door, and told to work full time and given muscle relaxers. Give you my husband drive for a living so he is unable to take these for his daily pain. My husband is now unable to walk with so much lower back pain, and now pain in both hips with pains shooting down his legs.
They never answer their phones or return your voicemails, so it is a lost cause. Don't go here if you are able to GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This place is awful! If I could give 0 star I would!! I went there first time to do a drug and physical screening for a new job I applied they didn't have they misplaced paperwork from my employer, when I finally got screened they lost the blood samples!!!! Now they don't wanna re do it because of course cost money and they don't wanna pay for it to fix the problem!! And my employer can't hire me if they don't have those tests!! They don't take responsibility of their mistakes!! Huge mistakes!!! They play with people lives!!! They never never never answer the phones!!! I had to drive personally to the office 30 minutes from my house!!! to see what happened with my blood work, they left me waiting for an hour and half in the lobby and never gave me an answer about my blood test!!!

This place is the best doctors office in the whole state of Nevada ! Receptionists are kind , considerate , professional, and very caring!!! The moment I walked in I was greeted w a smile , to not even a 10 minute wait to see a doctor ! They had me with the smile and kindness ! I could tell they are there because they enjoy being there and not just for a paycheck ! Lastly the doctor : Katlain the most awesome physician assistant ever ! She was caring , and attended to all my needs! She communicated perfectly with me and and all my questions I had ! She was so patient and kind it left me asking myself if she really was human ! Doctor Nicknam you are awesome but what makes you awesome is your employees and the dedication they have for your practice ! Thank you for the incredible service from top to bottom ! Much appreciated

I was asked to take down a review that i posted a couple of days ago about the inadequate service and lack of direct communication being provided by their office so to not shed real light on the situation going on over at southern nevada occupational health, so to not make them look bad and in return i was awaiting a call back so that i could get my issues addressed and what do you know, noone has returned my calls. All i can say is find a different provider these ppl dont take lives and peoples health seriously at all. Please for the life of me dont call me asking me to take this one down. These people are a joke, ill take my medical issues somewhere else.

This place is the worst doctor office ever front desk is not professional it always hot in there and the people is so rude and racist I don’t recommend you go to this doctor office it smell in there and they are not friendly spells my name wrong everytime I come there blood pressure cuff be to tight and they have the most rudest people helping you
