My name is Leigh Ann King. I was referred to dr Tang by my wife. I have only been there 1 time which was enough. Details of the awful experience to follow Now months later, I am trying to get a copy of my blood work but when I call, nobody ever answers, I mean ever. You can’t leave a message or anything. You just sit there listening to ridiculous music for hours.

This isn’t isolated, this is literally every time you call.

This is health care? No it isn’t. It’s nothing shy of a joke.

Dr Tang was recommended to us. I called and got a new patient appt for December and had a pleasant experience with who I talked to ( she didn’t give her name). I called back a few weeks later to see if there had been any cancellations, and spoke to Kim. She was extremely rude. She said they don’t keep a waitlist because they “double and triple book”and they “never“ have cancellations. I then explained to her that when I made my December appointment, I could’ve actually gotten in within the next two weeks because of cancellations (the time slots didn’t work for me so I didn’t take them) they had had. And she said “well aren’t you just the lucky one.” She then proceeded to tell me there was “no point in calling back to check for cancellations because they just never have any.” I have seen other negative reviews online for Kim, believe them. I have been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years in various different capacities, including being a practice manager. I would not be keeping someone who had the negative reviews that she has or talks to someone the way she talked to me. I have gone somewhere else for my health care as most interactions within the healthcare industry, these days, sadly, are more between the patient and the office staff more than they are the patient and the provider. I’m not going to deal with someone who treats people the way that Kim did me on the phone. When I canceled this morning, I ended up speaking with the same person that scheduled me and I relayed to her what it happened. She was very apologetic and said she would be letting the doctor know.

I've attempted arranging primary care for myself several times without finding a provider that's right for me. M Family Care has a wonderful front office staff that's on top of their game. And Carrie is a medical professional who empathized with me, had me laughing, and made me feel like a whole person. I'm actually looking forward to getting ongoing care!

NOT AT THIS TIME, that's the word repeating in my mind right now and I'll tell you why.

I work across from the M Casino and been looking for a new doctor and came across this spot from Cigna. I had no idea there's even a doctor's office in the casino to begin with. So I was excited to call them up and ask if they're accepting new patient. This was maybe 2 months ago, the lady on the phone was nice enough to say not till December for next year's new patients. Ok great, so I go there today on my lunch break, took some walking to find it (I'm not the type that ask for direction), it's located near the M Spa (downstairs) walk towards the UPS store then make a right and you'll see it on your left.

It's a small office, when I walked in there's one guy waiting and I see the front desk lady is on the phone. So while waiting I was admiring the Koi gold fish tank they have. Then the lady slide the window open and asked 'How can I help you?"

So all I ask is "Are you accepting new patient?" She quickly goes "Not at this time" and before I can squeeze out another question she was quick to shoot me down with "Not at this time" I can tell "at this time" this conversation is going nowhere, I'm talking to a parrot so I politely said "Thank you!" and went on my way.

Dr. Tang is a brilliant Dr with a natural gift for diagnosing.
I was tested positive for Covid by an urgent care and afterwards called Dr Tangs office and the medicine prescribed was almost unheard of at the time and now it’s “ the drug “ for Covid!

I’m a US Navy annuitant, newly retired after a 34-year career, newly relocated to Las Vegas, and a grateful new patient of M Family Care.

The purpose of this review is not geared specifically to my wonderful doctor/patient experience with this ‘best-of-class’ internal medicine practice in the 5 or 6 interactions I’ve had over the past few months. It’s aimed, rather, at some of the somewhat vague ‘complaints’ offered on this review-board vis-à-vis the M Family Care administrative staff. I’m compelled to write this because these truly wonderful staff-members are in the unfortunate professional situation of not being able to reply to these nearly incoherent, not-well-thought-out chastising reviews.

To be clear, in every interaction I’ve had, the staff has treated me with more than just exemplary professional and responsive service. They’ve been uncommonly kind, the sort of kindness one might find within a Spiritual community. It’s sad to see someone take a cheap shot at this staff, without thinking we’re all human beings, going through the vagaries and vicissitudes of life we all do. Any one who doesn’t feel life is ‘a hard battle’ must not be paying attention.

In summary, the front-desk staff have all shown a certain, constant, and compassionate ear in setting up the medical services to which I’m sometimes in need. They have made things easy! Remarkably easy! I congratulate the leadership of M Family Care for having such rarefied persons on their staff.

Dr. Tang has helped narrow down issues resulting from an accident I had 7 months ago. It seemed like once my neck and back were at a tolerable point. I started getting really bad headaches. Not satisfied with the answers the other doctors were providing me, I started seeing Dr. Tang.

Dr. Tang asked in depth questions. She handled all my blood-work in her office, which was a relief, not having to go else where. Then, Shari, got me set up with all the paperwork I needed. I felt cared for, and relieved that finally I found a doctor and her staff who are passionate about what they do.

Lucky for them (not so much for us) this success and level of personal attention means their services are in high demand, I did have to wait longer than I’d liked, but it was worth it.

Let me begin with the statement that Dr. Tang is a wonderful doctor. That being said it is a shame that I give her only one star due to her staff and the attitude that they give her patients. In today’s world we sadly deal more with a doctors staff we do than the actual doctor. When sick or (heavens forbid) are in need of a refill on sensitive medication, the last thing anyone should be made to feel is humiliated or patronized by someone who makes appointments on an excel sheet. No longer does a doctors actual bedside manor matter as much as the doctors staff. This is not a one time occurrence but sadly it will be the last. I have put up with the snotty tone of voice and the belittling attitudes by people who have NOTHING to do with my care for long enough. Sorry Dr. Tang I love you but the women behind your window make me sick to my stomach.

Have been seeing Kochy Tang for over 10 years. Had a concern about some very sensitive information (HIPAA) being shared unnecessarily. Reassured that it would not be shared. Well, it was shared by Kochy Tang herself.

When I voiced my concern, instead of Kochy Tang addressing the issue like an adult, and as a professional should, she discharged me instead. Quite the cowardly move.
