Montecito Dental is truly great! This is by far the best dental office I’ve been to. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely personable. They actually remember who you are when you walk in and even remember conversations you’ve had with them, which I really appreciate. It’s those little details that make you feel valued and show how much they care about their patients.

They are also very honest and straightforward. I never feel pressured into adding unnecessary services or getting treatments I don’t need. They take the time to explain things and are genuinely focused on providing the best care.

I’ve recommended Montecito Dental to several friends and family members, and they’ve all been happy with their experiences as well. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Hart is the best doctor with the best staff. This office is my fav place to visit. I have referred friends and family and they all agree. First of all, her chairs are massage chairs, need I say more? However, the staff is chefs kiss. Even the hygienists and assistants that I don't regularly see, greet me and treat me like family. When I am checking out, I see other patients coming in and the staff knows their whole life story, it's a real family in this place. They also aren't trying to "sell" you dental. If Dr. Hart says you need something, you know you need it because she is the most trustworthy human and you feel that from the minute you meet her. This office will always be 10 stars for me.

In the last seven years Dr. Hart and her team have perfectly matched replaced my central incisors more times than I can recall. Her work was better than what nature gave me. Absolutely LOVE the ladies over At Montecito Dental: they brighten both your teeth and your soul! Did you know massage dental chairs existed?! I didn’t and was in for a surprise! My initial experience with Montecito Dental was less than satisfactory. The first crown they provided fell out within a month, indicating a lack of durability in their work. Additionally, I had a cleaning scheduled, but received an unexpected text notifying me that Montecito Dental was no longer in the VA network, leaving me to find a new dentist.

Upon contacting Montecito Dental for clarification, I was informed that they dropped out of the VA network due to payment delays. Despite this decision, they claimed to still support veterans. The situation appeared to be a he said/she said issue, raising doubts about the accuracy and consistency of information provided by the front office. I do not recommend.

I have been a patient if Dr. Hart’s for 15 years. My family has too. I hadn’t been in for awhile and was experiencing pain. I called Monday, got in Tuesday morning. Michelle is one of the best in any medical profession. So kind, gentle, has great energy and explained everything. Dr. Hart was out so Dr. Rodriguez took care of me. She was also so kind and explained everything. In addition to that, she was constantly concerned about my paid and comfort.

In addition to all of this, Dr. Hart had literally saved my life years back when another dentist did a root canal ending in a huge infection. She is amazing. Go see this team!

I recently had the most terrible tooth pain that sprang up very quickly. Montecito Dental got me into their office the very next day, quickly diagnosed the problem, took immediate steps to relieve the pain, and went above and beyond to quickly get me the follow on care I needed. STOP! Don't know who is writing these other reviews, but we had one mistake after another! Asked for a claim on a Crown. After 6 weeks, found out from our insurance co that the dentists office never contacted them at all. One Crown came in, an office Tech sanded the Crown down too much and put a hole in the middle of it, while Dr. Hart was on the phone in the lobby asking her child how his school day went. Had to order another Crown. All the Temp Crowns kept falling out & they only recommended Polygrip to keep it in! 2nd Crown didn't fit, again alot of sanding! Over 6 months later, that Crown broke, husband swallowed it. Went to a new Dentist, The Tooth, and despite that office requesting dental files from Dr. Hart 3 TIMES, they never got them! So, we have to pay nearly $600. for a new Crown, because our insurance expired on replacing a damaged Crown. Called Dr. Hart several times to complain, she REFUSES to call us back! I read alot of negative reviews about Dr. Harts office, but was foolish to proceed. I guess this is what you get from a Dentist who trained in a third world country! Never again! Don't like being played!

Approximately 2.5 years ago, I was concerned that I'd find a dental clinic suitable enough to call it, "My dental clinic, or my dentist." Being in the military for 24+ years, I never had to search around to find dental care since it was always provided to me - now that I'm retired, it was time to find a place. I stumbled across this office one day; completed the required paperwork, and scheduled my first cleaning appointment. When that day arrived, I will say that I was thoroughly impressed...and relieved. Relieved because the people working there were not only friendly, but very professional. They listened to my concerns and provided ample feedback on different courses of action depending on my schedule. I really enjoyed the fact that they weren't pushy on anything, nor did they look at me like I was some disgusting thing on this planet because I didn't want to fix certain issues with my teeth right away. The people here are very flexible and make you feel at home. Recently, I had a crown applied to my tooth...this was a result from an issue I had been dealing with for almost 3 years (just didn't want to bring it up, nor did I want to pay for it). This was my first crown applied and I was a bit skeptical in the beginning because I've heard of issues that other people had during the application process. I will say this...FLAWLESS...completely flawless execution! No issues; no complaints, and no more food trapped between the two teeth which was very annoying. Put a crown on Dr. Gupta for her remarkable work!! She definitely changed my life for the better. In addition to the crown, my cleaning appointments have been nothing short of outstanding. Rhonda, the hygienist, always does a superb job on cleaning my teeth. Aside from her lack of keeping up with the newest movies released, she definitely sets the tone on quality work. Another notable worker in that clinic is Michelle. Although, I've only had three visits in which she was present, during those three visits, she has been very upbeat, and provided stellar workmanship during my exams and during the crown application. Her and Dr. Gupta make a great team! Last but not least, Angela has always been very friendly up in the front office since day 1 of visiting this clinic. Honestly, I don't think she is capable of ever being unfriendly. She is very caring and provides great customer service to patients! I've also noticed her providing detailed customer service to other patients as well so it's not a hit-or-miss with her...she is ALWAYS this way. I know this post was longer than the norm, but if these workers are going to take the time to provide quality care, then I wanted to take some time to recognize these outstanding workers that I had the privilege of experiencing. Thank you to these great workers and the rest of the staff (I'm not certain how many people work here, but I'm sure they're all remarkable)! I now identify this place as "MY" dental clinic.

I have never had much to say about any Dentist, I have found in my 59 years that most just don't listen to you about what the problems are, or they know everything about your teeth and your body and you know little to nothing about your teeth or body. I even had a dentist tell me that their was no way I could possibly be in the amount of pain I was in when my front tooth got knocked into my lower lip and had to be literally pulled out of my lip by tongs. Then one day at work I had a tooth that broke and a fellow worker told me not to worry his wife would fix me up in no time. I went to Dr. Hart and I was happy to find her very competent, professional, and gentle. She was very caring and doing everything to treat me with a focus on what was best for me, while leaving the final choices totally up to me. Not one bit pushy or trying to sell me something I didn't need. I further found the office very clean and comfortable. Her staff was very knowledgeable and polite, while respectful. If I had to put it into a nut shell it seemed to me that the staff and the doctor had a great working relationship that seemed more family like, not stressed or forced. this made me feel less stressed. I have no difficulty referring anyone to Dr Hart and in fact did so when my wife had need of her services. My wife found the same quality care was given to her as I. I will continue to see Dr Hart for all my dental needs in the future and recommend everyone else do the same. If more examples of Dr Harts expertise and character are needed let me just say this, I live in Pahrump Nevada and travel 125 miles round trip to my appointments. If I didn't think her skills were great I would certainly not make the trip. I rate 5+5=10 stars (the other five is from my wife).

It was my first visit at this office for a cleaning for my daughter and I. It was a very poor experience as It took 2 hours for a cleaning just for my daughter. I was never informed that there had been an emergency with the doctor and they were running behind on schedule until I had to ask. I doubt there was such emergency and that was the way to justify the time that it took for a simple visit. I missed a very important appointment due to this and I’m very disappointed I received this poor service. I canceled my own appointment and we will not be returning to this office ever again.

Absolutely the best place I've been. I used to sell dental consumables and covered the entire area. In that time I got to meet every dentist/office in town. I specifically chose this office because of how good the Dr is and how amazing the staff is. I've been going there for over 5 years now and recently had fairly major work done. They go above and beyond what any other office would do. If I moved to the opposite side of town, I'd make the trip to come here based on my experiences and knowledge of what else is out there. They are polite enough and the office is nice, but if you have good insurance they will try to tell you that you need a bunch of unecessary, expensive work that can actually mess up your teeth and cause you problems you would've never had down the road . When they told me I needed a deep root scaling and all this other stuff my gut told me something was off. I got *two* other opinions and was told I had some of the cleanest teeth either had ever seen and no pockets in my gums. Far from what Montecito tried to sell me. Stay away from this shady place.

Loved Dr Hart! Its the suprise billing errors that hurt after! I was quoted in writing that my procedure would be 1500 they said they checked my insurance coverage stating I would be responsible for 250 and insur would cover the rest. Had procedure done (non returnable merchandise) paid my 250 then and there. They billed insurance which stated they covered 100% and I keep getting letters that states I owe another $500. Its like a bait and switch. Otherwise the office is sanitary the staff is sweet. I will pay cash at the community college before falling for this trick again tho.
