I've been on the program for about a little over a week, and I went from a 9 for pain in my feet after Dr. Rudack said my nerves in my feet were in really bad shape for my age (50).

I've been watching my diet and doing my home therapy as I was instructed by Dr. Rudack... and I went from 9 for pain down to a 7 and I've even slowed down on my consumption of pre gablin!!!
I still have so far to go to be cured of my neuropathy and bring my dead nerves back to life. Wish me luck!!

Dr. Wendy is exceptional, intuitive, knowledgeable and professional. I was new to getting a chiropractic adjustment and felt a little nervous. I started my treatment with Total Body Wellness on March 9 primarily for my neuropathy in my feet and hands. The whole protocol was great including detox, red light therapy, diet plan, laser treatment, cupping, PEMF chair, vibration board (aerobic plus) and once a week adjustment with chiropractor, Dr. Rudak or Dr. Morales. I recently started soft wave therapy and that helps me a lot. I definitely see improvement of my condition, circulation is better, sensitivity is improved, I can feel with my feet hot and cold which I did not feel it before. My numbness is improved as well. I would definitely recommend this office of functional medicine. All the stuff is great, knowledgeable, very professional, courteous and helpful, starting with Donna at the front desk, as well as Leah, who is very helpful for every patient, Dr. Rudak and Dr. Morales are wonderful. Who ever have a problem with neuropathy definitely try this office if you want to get the relief. I changed 4 foot doctors, none of them helped me with my pain . Highly disappointed. It quickly turned into a sales pitch from a used car salesman, after politely explaining how I wanted to think about what the practice had to offer, Dr wasn’t having it. Forced to watch a testimonial video. Then followed by the finance lady. She was the easiest to understand that I didn’t want to make a decision at that moment.I understand sales. But at some point helping people should be more important than pressing folks. To add there was no guarantee if it would work. The only guarantee was they were gonna get paid.

I can no longer recommend Dr. Rudack and his office. While the staff has always been friendly, the constant surprise charges have made me lose trust in the practice. I prepaid for 20 red light sessions, yet they often forget to use them—or treat the wrong area—while focusing on upselling me at every visit.

Lab work is another example: no upfront cost explanations, then multiple unexpected bills from different sources weeks later. Even casual mentions of creams or supplements turn into surprise charges at checkout.

What started as a promising practice now feels transactional rather than focused on care. Despite having many prepaid sessions left, I won’t be returning.

I was deeply disappointed with my experience with Dr. Rudack. I visited his office seeking relief from back pain, as my previous chiropractor no longer accepts my insurance. While waiting outside the office, I noticed a TV playing a TED Talk suggesting there is already a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. It struck me as odd, but I initially dismissed it as background content. However, upon entering the office, I noticed several books about Alzheimer’s on display, which made it clear the video was intentionally selected.

Dr. Rudack was friendly and welcoming at first. He asked a few questions about my back pain, then quickly shifted to discussing my foot alignment, telling me I needed orthotics—which he conveniently sells through his clinic. This is not necessarily outside the scope but orthotics are rarely covered by insurance and are extremely expensive.

When I mentioned that I was taking Ozempic (as recommended by both my primary care physician and gynecologist), he told me I would get cancer from it and instead recommended a product called ChiroThin, which he also sells.

After researching ChiroThin when I got home, I found no peer-reviewed studies or clinical evidence supporting the effectiveness of the drops or the program. The weight loss results appear to be the result of extreme calorie restriction (as low as 500–800 calories per day), which is highly unsafe.

As for the chiropractic care itself, I received a brief physical examination where he applied pressure to certain areas, followed by an order for an X-ray. That was the extent of the treatment. I was to follow-up with him once the X-ray results were completed. I would have been OK with that if he hadn't totally lost my faith in his abilities to provide appropriate treatment.

Having seen chiropractors for many years, I have never encountered one who strayed so far beyond the scope of their practice.

I don’t know how his chiropractic treatment would have been long-term, but the way he pressured me about things far outside the scope of chiropractic care and trying to influence my views on treatments for Alzheimer's made me uncomfortable and unwilling to continue as a patient. This felt more like a sales pitch than a medical appointment, and I left feeling that the focus was more on selling products than providing care. I found the experience unprofessional and concerning. I would not recommend this doctor or practice.

My characterization of what happened is completely accurate. I understand reviews like this may not help your business, but it is my responsibility to ensure people are aware of unethical business practices. I have started with a new functional medicine doctor who is transparent and honest and am much happier. I am currently having to take this to small claims court because they took $3,000 from me, promised it would include everything, and then kept asking for thousands more. When I asked for my money back - because they hadn't rendered the services yet - they refused.

TLDR: Dr. Rudack uses unethical sales tactic and has a littlebit of an ego that blinds him in his ability to understand where you might be coming from financially. AI, and availability of information online, is replacing most of his profession and he is employing unethical sales tactics to make up for it.

He was very unprofessional and lost his temper when I asked if I could put the treatment on hold. It was quite jarring. He and his office practice deceptive sales tactics to lure you into their year long program and refuse to give you the true cost, instead they opt to spring more and more costs as you go along - milking you of more money than you expected to put down. This is an example of ethical business practice, especially when its a business preying on unhealthy people.

Refuses to give me a refund even though services were not rendered. Said "I wish I never did the payment program because people wouldn't quit when they had to pay all up front" - meaning if he pressured people early on to pay everything upfront, they were too financially invested to pull out when he starts revealing the other hidden costs.

Dr. Rudack hasn't told me anything that ChatGPT hasn't told me. I first went to his office and had my own diagnosis of auto-immune disorder caused by gut dysbiosis. That's what it was. I already knew it. He only then ran some tests that told me I have a less efficient MTHFR gene. Great, ChatGPT has told me everything he told me and more. It isn't rocket science, he just profits off of the knowledge he has gained over his career - which is fair. But it's not worth the amount he charges when its now free online.

My name is Seth Gilliland and I am a 19 year old bodybuilder. I came to Dr. Rudak in the middle of January with pain in my shoulder (partial tear) and pain in my back. After examining me, taking xrays, and an mri Dr. Rudak was able to successfully treat my problems. I just want to say I hate leaving bad reviews. I am not a hateful person and always give people benefit of the doubt, but I feel like I need to save people from coming here...

After doing the testing and (very expensive) bloodwork, He presented me with this 10 month program that he promised if I follow exactly, it will solve all my health problems. He had me pay upfront before we could start the program. His program cost me over $4,000.. I did everything he recommended (including diet, exercise, supplements, liver cleanse, chiropractic visits, etc..) I made it about 5 months (not seeing or feeling any difference) then I got pregnant.

After telling Steve I am pregnant he advised me to completely stop all supplements and we could continue the program once I had the baby and was done breastfeeding. I went back and they basically said I have to start all over with testing and bloodwork to see where I was at. This is understandable sine a lot has changed, but I said I would rather not do bloodwork unless everything was covered since last time I paid $600 for all the bloodwork plus the $150 supplements every month & it adds up. Having a baby has made my budget tight and I explained everything to them. They assured me they will only order what is necessary and would make sure my insurance covered it in full. I went ahead and did bloodwork then I get a bill for $580 !! I called back asking why they would run all these tests when it isn't covered and they said just because its covered doesn't mean its free & that there is nothing they can do, the blood was already taken and that is what I owe. They knew my situation, they wouldn't tell me exactly what they were ordering before they drew the blood, and turns out they ordered way more than what was "necessary"... not to mention when I got the results and I compared to my previous bloodwork, everything got better yet they were still recommending I take all these supplements and change my diet.. I am just wondering how could I have better results after being pregnant and not eating the best and not exercising?? This place is a SCAM please don't waste your time or money!!

He's arrogant for a doctor. He boasts about his knowledge about Functional Medicine, but he's only a little knowledgable about it. His treatment was expensive (3k) and it turns out, that it wouldn't have even cured me.

I went in for adjustments 4 times. But he would interrupt me repeatedly during my explanation of my problem. It was so bad, that it took me 3 appointments before he actually adjusted the spot that I needed. Never had that happen at a chiropractor.

And his treatments didn't even include hyperbaric, sauna, or light treatments. Which are fairly essential in Functional Medicine. Hes an odd duck.

[Edit: Yeah, a year doesn't make a difference. It still happened. And the route I took doesn't take insurance either. In comparison, I paid about $500 to get well. Beats the heck out of throwing away 3k to have you convince me to do it again.]

I first went to Dr. Rudack in March of 2023. I injured my back lifting weights six months before and I just was not getting any better. I am a very active person and my back issues were having a negative impact on my life. I like to hike and I had planned a trip to hike the Salkantay Trek to Machu Piccu. But my back pain was so bad I was starting to wonder if I would be able to do it. Dr. Rudack immediately sent me for X-rays. They showed that I had undiagnosed scoliosis. I would like to post a review of Dr. Steve Rudack of Total Body Wellness. I have been a patient of Dr. Rudack for over 15 years. My experience has been exceptional. He he has always been informative and gives me the time required for the care I require. His clinic staff has always been accommodating for getting appointments scheduled, returning calls promptly and handling any and all insurance needs. I have read the few negative reviews recently posted. My experience, after all these years treating with Dr. Rudack, could not possibly be more opposite. Watch out for this place. This guy is not a doctor. He has a bachelor’s in science, 2 years of Chiro school, and he took some functional medicine courses online so he puts DR in front of his name, yet he is no doctor.

I was referred to Steve’s office and he was very thorough at the start, this is his business model to lure you in.
He made me spend hundreds of dollars up front to meet with him which was only to find out my problems and then sell me a “solution” at around $5k. I had spent over $1k just in follow up meetings and blood work before there was any solutions presented to me.

He met with my girlfriend as well and we thought he was legit.
Once I paid him a large partial sum of the money, this is when he changed and did not want to answer any of my questions.
He “prescribed” a bunch of different supplements and had me take a liver detox which hurt my liver. I got more blood tests with other real doctors and they showed that what he had me take actually harmed my body and liver.

Do not trust this guy and do not believe all of the 5 star reviews you see here posted.

This guy will fool you and have you believe he can help you to get healthier. He will guide you down the wrong path and take a lot of money from you.

While also seeing him during a chiropractic session, he was opening up yahoo on his tablet and clicking on news articles. He began reading the articles for about half a minute before he turned back to me. He did not listen much to what I said and just gave an adjustment and walked out.

This guy is not who you want for help, he will fool you and have you spend a lot of money. Go somewhere else and see someone who is a real doctor and will actually help you to get healthier, not just take your money.

Update to answer from owner: It is true what I wrote, you don't have actual medical doctor degrees. With your response, you did not even address this, because it is true.

Everything that I wrote is exactly what happened.

On top of that, you obviously did not have my well-being in your best interest as you did not pay attention while I was in a chiropractic visit... you read the News on yahoo's website.
Also, I told you that I had already taken tests for feet and had already spent money on custom insoles. You did not take a look at what I already had in my shoes, you simply persuaded me by saying, just remove those soles and get these that you have to buy from me. Along with the pillow that you, "prescribed."
If you had my well-being in your interest, you would have at least checked the insoles in my shoes to see what was there. You only wanted to sell your soles to make your commission through the company making the insoles.

I appreciate you wishing me well on my health journey, yet that is not how you treated me while at your clinic. So writing this to wish me well because it looks politically correct online for other people to read, does not hide your true intentions. Now, others can see how you treat patients.

I started treatments for a sore back and neck stiffness as part of preparing for retirement from the Fire Dept. I had also gained a lot of weight and had to take high blood pressure meds.

After a flare up of a old motorcycle injury, I thought I might have to quit jiu jitsu, but after meeting Dr. Rudack I was confident I would be back in no time. Not once did he tell me to give up what I love, instead he said “let’s make you better so you don’t hurt doing what you love”. He did ask me to take a little over a month off to heal, so we set my 1st day back to jiu jitsu at 7/19/21 and I’m happy to say I was able to start back up on 6/24/21!!!
