Dr. Chris is the best! I saw him yesterday because I was feeling kind of stiff and he made some great adjustments in my back and neck. Today, I woke up and feel rejuvenated and actually want to get off the couch! Lol I highly recommend seeing him because not only can he do manual adjustments, he has machines for a gentle stretch - which my husband uses due to his more extensive back issues. Conveniently located shopping center at the base of Anthem and just a few minutes from Green Valley. I call and tell him I’m on my way and he always fits me in. Thanks for everything Dr. Chris!

I’m deeply grateful to Dr. Chris for seeing me on short notice and fitting me into his schedule for a week. I was only visiting Sun Anthem City briefly and didn’t anticipate needing chiropractic care while away from home. However, my experience at this office gave me a new appreciation for how effective and healing proper adjustments can be.
I had tolerated discomfort for so long that I had forgotten what true relief felt like. After decompression and adjustments, I experienced a level of comfort I hadn’t felt in years. I highly recommend this office to anyone seeking expert chiropractic care.

After I hurt my lower back bowling, I was lucky enough to find Dr. Chris at Mountainside Chiropractic. I came into his office barely able to stand up. Thankfully, his use of manual adjustments, the decompression machine and electrical stimulation helped me regain my mobility. Not only was I able to bowl 2 weeks later in the Women's National Tournament, I was also able to continue my training hikes. Because of Dr. Chris, I just hiked to the top of Mt Charleston. I honestly thought I would have to wait until next year to reach the peak because of my back. I've seen a number of chiropractors over the years because I was in a car accident. Although they were all very good doctors, I haven't had this type of quick recovery in the past. I'm amazed that I've been able to regain the flexibility in my back. Thank you so much Dr.Chris!

Last October I started getting severe neck pain that gave me a dull headache all the time. On top of that, I had very poor range of motion on my neck, shoulders and arms. Other chiro treatments I had would only last me a few days to a week of relief then I would be back to where I was, hurting with poor movement and being stiff. I took NSAIDs almost every day with other topicals just to get me through the pain.
I found Dr. Chris last December and everything has changed after being under his care. My neck pain is gone and so are the dull headaches. I can raise my arms up again and can turn my neck side to side without any pain. I can do laundry again without being in pain afterwards. So grateful for his care.

Chris is amazing. The other doctors I saw all insisted I would need another lumbar surgery, but I went another route with decompression. It’s taken awhile with a few setbacks (not his fault) and I am getting back to my normal life. I would recommend him to anyone with herniated discs to try decompression before going under the knife.

Highly recommend trying this place. I threw my back out on a Thursday night. Called Friday morning and Chris got me in same day. I could barely walk on my first visit. After a few sessions on his high tech decompression machine I was 100% pain free and back to normal life.

Dr Houtakker came highly recommended by Ron at Pure Nutrition. I had gone hiking back in March and the day after the hike I could not bend over past my knees and I could normally touch my palms on the floor of how flexible I am. The pain that radiated down both sides of my back and both legs felt like the worst sciatic pain that I’ve ever experienced before. A debilitating pain. After talking with Ron, he recommended that I go see Dr Houtakker. I went in with a bit of skepticism but I believe he had a solution that was going to give me the results that I wanted quicker than going to a traditional doctor or surgeon or specialist that was going to give me the same type of treatment/recommendation that I’ve been given for years because of my different surgeries and physical challenges. Needless to say that I’m on week 5 of the treatment and I can bend over perfectly fine now. I am gaining a lot of my flexibility back and I’m addressing an issue that I’ve had for years but no other doctor has helped me treat before, which most of it originated in my spine. His DRX machine is definitely unique and the treatments are well worth it and I hope that a lot of people can experience the relief that I’ve experienced with his treatments. Thanks Chris! This is an amazing place, got here on a Saturday as a walk in and they took care of me even though they had other patients wth appointments, they do have a decompression table so if you have a compress disc or anything related I strongly recommend coming here, I'm very happy I found this place
