My family visited the office for the first time for a fun event they hosted I then set an appointment and shared serval concerns my family has, I’ve got a 4 year old who’s nervous about the dentist, a son with ADHD & autism, a son with severe sensory issues and a 17 year old. My anxiety was high, we’d had a bad experience in the past but the second we walked in I sighed breath of relief, office itself is welcoming, clean and comfortable. They had holiday decorations up and it was very inviting!!! The waiting room has comfortable seating, several TVs and an activity area. We were greeted with a smile and for a second I forgot we were at the dentist! 😂
The kids were brought back quickly and the doctor explained everything so well and in a way that was fun and age appropriate. They have TV’s above and the kids can watch while they have work done. The appointment went so smoothly!
We made another appointment for fillings for three of my children. My four year old sat though the filling 🤯 and left saying she had so much fun! I contribute that 100% to the hygienist and Dr Keaton Tomlin! NEVER in my life could I have imagined the appointment going so well, Dr. Keaton is truly a miracle worker! My 4 year old can’t wait for her next cleaning!!!
Dr Allison Tomlin is also top notch! I felt heard and valued as a patient and I felt like I was chatting with a friend. Allison addressed my concerns and answered all my questions, she’s professional and explains things better than I’ve ever experienced with other dentists. I cannot express how grateful I am that I found Mountain West!

Such an amazing experience!!! We were so lucky they were able to accommodate both my boys while we were in LV on vacation. I do not recommend this office.

While it is beautiful, and the staff is caring, and cleaning are a great experience; dental treatment recommended for my son was IMO outrageous. I like them UNTIL my son needed more than a cleaning.

For various reasons I was told my son needed 8 yes EIGHT crowns on all of his molars. Shocked at how drastic that sounded I got a second opinion.

The second Dentist I saw was absolutely wonderful in every way and ended up doing 4 small fillings. My son does not grind his teeth and they didn't feel the fillings were at risk of cracking. I can't believe I almost got sold the idea my son needed all those crowns.
Also, when they sent the X-rays over to the second office they sent an incomplete set AND one film didn't even belong to my son.

I fully expect a response from Mountain West talking about fillings fail on kids and crowns are better and how conservative they are and all that because I already got the speech.
It was absolutely not necessary, so my advice is get a second opinion if you feel unsure. You can decide between the two for yourself. I am 100% confident with our decision and the care we received elsewhere.

This is the best baby dentist ever!! They took care of my daughters full mouth of tongue, cheek and lip ties when she was 3 months old. They were so loving and sweet and understanding. They were gentle with my baby and so kind with me and how hard it is as a mom to hand your baby to someone for a medical procedure. They couldn't have been lovelier. I've recommended them to other moms with tied up babies too. They're amazing!

Great Adult Care.

I was new to the area and needed to establish care. They were able to schedule me the very next day and start the cleaning and due to insurance completed it the day after. So in 3 days from initial call everything was done. That’s amazing and excellent. The Dr and the assistant were wonderful as well as the office staff. They are a great office even if you don’t have kids.

Love this dental office, the staff is always so nice and amazing everytime I come in. They know my kids by names after two visits, and they know how to make them feel at ease during non cleaning appointments. So sad to see Skylar go, but hopefully heaven and kylie stay. I’ve been a patient at this dental office for quite some time, and until recently, I never felt the need to leave a review. I was there last week, and I’ve been contemplating whether to leave a review or not, but my most recent experience ultimately led me to share this feedback.

The biggest issue has been with the treatment coordinator. Communication was poor, information was inconsistent, and I felt rushed and dismissed rather than supported and properly informed about my treatment and financial options.

I’ve also noticed a significant amount of staff turnover over the time I’ve been coming here. Nearly every visit seems to involve new staff, which makes continuity of care uncomfortable and concerning as a long-term patient.

I will be finishing my current treatment at this office, but due to my recent experience, I will be finding another dental office for future care. I gave this practice multiple chances because I had been a long-term patient, but the lack of organization, professionalism, and patient-centered care has been disappointing.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the experience for future patients.

If you're looking to have a pleasurable experience at the dentist, this is the place for you. This was hands down the nicest, cleanest, friendliest, and most efficient dentist and staff I have ever been to. The office is super nice, spacious and squeaky clean. You don't even feel like you're at the dentist. Very kid friendly. But even better than that.. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. This place was aaaaaaamazing!!! Very spacious and clean. Fun toys for the kids to play with in the waiting room. The staff made my very stubborn 3 year old very relaxed and comfortable. I was nervous going into this because her very first dental experience wasn’t great and she wasn’t able to get treatment done. We were referred here by her pediatrician and we are in love! They explained everything they were gonna do to her and showed her everything and i think that all made her feel very comfortable. During treatment, she was able to lay back and watch tv as the TVs were on the ceiling! Lol And then she got a prize at the end.

Overall, very good experience, so glad we were referred and I’ll drive the 45 min every six months for this exceptional experience all over again!

After moving to Las Vegas from out of state, it took me a while to really find a dentist for my kids that I was comfortable with. I was told the parents weren’t allowed to come back with their children, which didn’t really sit well with me. After finding Mountain West, Dr. Keaton has been so kind as well as everyone in the office. Mary, especially went out of her way to explain everything that was going on and what treatment needed to be done. Both my daughters had to come in for fills. My 8 year old is very afraid of the tools and wants to know each step they’re taking during her treatment. The dental assistants and her dentist were very patient and let her know what they were doing in a friendly non scary manner.
They were able to do her fill and crown with barely any issues. The hardest part was probably the numbing portion.
Now it’s my 5 year olds turn and she only had fills. They were quick and thorough. They truly know what they’re doing here and know how to treat children so they aren’t afraid.

The team at Mountain West dental is outstanding! The doctor did a great job of calming my nerves and explaining everything in a way that I can understand. The procedure we had done took less than five minutes! The doctor even allowed me to record him doing her stretches so that I didn’t have to remember all of that as well with the nerves going. The team was also very sweet and understanding of our situation and allowed us to utilize the room even after our appointment to continue our feeding. Since we moved to Nevada, I have struggled to find a good dental office for my 3 kids. This place was recommended by our insurance and the best part is, you ready? it's in the same parking lot as my job 😂 they are soooo nice and always accommodating with my schedule and school schedule.
I haven't felt so "at home" with any other pediatric dentist til we found this place 3 years ago. I LOVE the Doctors here and the staff. The girls are always so sweet and not to mention, so good with the children. Overall OUSTANDING!!

I used to really like this dental office for my two children, but unfortunately the quality of care has noticeably declined over our last few visits. Most recently, I brought my son in because his spacer had shifted and was pinching his gums. When we arrived, the doctor walked in without acknowledging me, spoke only to the dental assistant, and then directed questions to my 5-year-old son instead of me.
As a parent — and someone with experience working in a pediatric setting — I found this very concerning. The parent or guardian should be the primary point of contact, not a young child. Each time I tried to explain what was going on, I felt dismissed and ignored, as if my input didn’t matter. This left me feeling uncomfortable and like my time wasn’t valued. To add to this, the front desk staff also seemed irritated and rude when asked any questions or for a school note, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant.
This wasn’t an isolated incident; we’ve had similar experiences in the past, which makes it clear this is becoming a pattern. Instead of feeling cared for, we were made to feel like just another number. Because of this, I’ve decided not to return. My children deserve providers who listen, communicate, and provide the level of care they truly need.

My daughter who is 10 years old is now in her 6th month of orthodontic treatment. We had to correct her cross bite, which is when one of her top front teeth grew behind the bottom of her lower teeth.
Within DAYS her bite was corrected but we needed to keep her braces on to correct the spacing issues. This is only phase 1 of treatment. She’ll need to have another phase when all her baby teeth finally fall out. I’m so pleased with Dr Allison and the whole staff here.
They have no problem scheduling appointments that are most convenient for you. That seems like a no-brainer but you’d be surprised how some medical offices operate.
I am truly so satisfied with the level and detail of care we receive here. If you have doubts, schedule a consultation and see for yourself how amazing this place is.

First, the good news. Dr. Tomlin and his hygienists are very good. However, after our most recent experience, we are permanently done with this office. Last week, I took my 6 year old son in for a routine exam and cleaning. He had been seen by Dr. Tomlin in May of this year and was due for another checkup. An office worker named Heaven wrongly and mistakenly told me that our insurance coverage had been terminated. I told her that her assertion could not be true because our insurance coverage renews at the beginning of every year through my husband’s employer and we had been there for our appointment in May with no problem. She insisted that our insurance had been terminated and wasn’t the least bit pleasant about it, so we left. The next day, my husband went into their office with documented proof that we had valid insurance coverage. Heaven apologized to him for the mistake but admitted that she realized her error soon after my son and I had left but neglected to call us and tell us that we did, in fact, have coverage. She offered no explanation or apology for the fact that she failed to call us despite the fact that more than 24 hours had passed since we showed up for my son’s appointment. We live 12 miles from their office, so my husband had to make a completely unnecessary 24 mile round trip to prove their mistake because of the failure of Heaven to call us. All she had to do was pick up the phone and admit the mistake and all would have been forgiven. To me, this level of indifference and insensitivity is inexcusable. Anyone can make a mistake, but to compound the mistake with such flagrant disregard for our patronage as patients represents new dimensions of unprofessional behavior. I hope you are reading this, Dr. Tomlin. We like you but we have moved on to another pediatric dentist. Good luck.

This place is fantastic. My son is on the spectrum and it is hard for him to adapt to new places and any type of doctor. The team was so welcoming and patient with him that he was comfortable enough to be okay with our visits here. My toddler also enjoyed his visit here. If I could give more than five stars I would. Best dental office I have ever been to as an adult! Michelle, my dental hygienist, was spectacular! She was excellent at building patient/provider rapport and made me feel safe and comfortable the whole time. I personally have poor gum health, however after my second visit I felt confident that they have me on the right path to healing healthy gums! My first visit I was on a very tight schedule between appointments, classes, and two jobs. The Mountain West Dental team was very accommodating in getting me taken care of in a timely manner, and I am so grateful for their empathy!

We had such an amazing experience with Dr. Keaton Tomlin! Our baby was born with a tongue tie and lip tie. Her ties were causing her to have difficulty with breastfeeding and bottle feeding. It was very intimidating as first time parents to have our baby go through this at 4 weeks old, but we are so happy we decided to go with Dr. Tomlin for her tongue tie procedure back in December of last year. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was so wonderful with our little one! The procedure itself took only a few minutes, and we felt very supported during the follow-up care. We are so happy we were able to work with him, and the entire office was so sweet! We will be bringing our daughter back to Mountain West for all her dental care!!

We had our kids at the same dentist as us and I felt like we weren't getting the best service we could for them. I searched for a pediatric dentist that take our insurance and this one was close and had excellent reviews. I am so happy we switched because the lobby is beautiful and has lots of kids to do while they wait. The staff is amazing and super nice. The best part is they are able to see all four of our kids at the same time so we aren't left waiting 30 minutes for each kid, which was a huge pain. I highly recommend this dentist. Highly recommend this office. My baby girl had her first dental visit with Dr. Keaton. My daughter was super nervous because she had hurt her front tooth the day before but the assistant Lyzette was super patient with my daughter and the doctor answered all my questions. The entire staff is welcoming and the office is beautiful. The general dentist Dr.Wilson also took care of my father who has dental anxiety. They also have an orthodontist in the building so you could treat your families dental needs all in one place!

This place is terrible and doesn't care about the actual care they provide. I went in for a consult with my son after my sister had her daughter's braces put on here. Right from the jump they said they have to extract 8 teeth (4 wisdom and 4 healthy). They also wouldn't even give me a breakdown of costs until my son got another cleaning with their office even though he just got his teeth cleaned a month prior. It had to be with them? They clearly were pushing for more money and trying to force us to switch dentist too because they do "everything." We didn't end up getting braces here, we went somewhere else that offered a more conservative treatment plan.

My sister ended up having nothing but issues with her daughter (after my consult obviously). When she got her braces off they were pushy to get her to sign their club fees to get the retainer molds. I've always gotten a solid mold at the end of braces treatments.

I wanted to update my review to mention they gave my sister a hard time at her daughter's appointment about MY review. They asked her to speak with me!? They violated HIPPA and brought up my son's chart to my sister, showing her films and pictures. I will be reporting them.

Not only is this such a beautiful office (with a kids play room!!), but the staff are so nice, accommodating, and friendly! I just left from our first dental appointment and we loved it ! The office staff was so welcoming and quick to help. The doctors office is so clean and nicely decorated my daughter loved all the balloons. Last but no least the doctor was so informative and patient. He answered all of my questions and reassured me of my child dental health. He eased my concerns of my daughter lip and tongue tie. We take our 2 daughters here, our oldest is 10 and youngest is 3! They both have had nothing but the great care here. I had an appointment this morning for my 3 daughters and they needed to go to school after. I didn't tell them I was in a hurry, but they had three separate ladies clean their teeth and we were in and out in 30 minutes. When my daughter needed more work 6 months ago they got her right in and didn't need to put her asleep for the work. They are so gentle, friendly, and caring. I recommend them to anyone with nervous kids, they explain everything and are quick, but never rushed. The office is clean, they have cool toys to play with, and treat me so wonderful when I bring my daughters. I also have invisalign at this office now to.

I’m way overdue writing this because Dr. Allison Tomlin and her staff have been amazing from the beginning! I just finished Invisalign treatment and all I can say is WOW and THANK YOU!!

A little backstory…. This was my third orthodontic treatment in my life, totaling just over 8 years. Two rounds of braces failed for different reasons in the past. I thought a good result wasn’t in the cards for me. As a teen I had incomplete treatment. As an adult I got braces in my 30s at another orthodontist in Las Vegas and everything went downhill from there after getting teeth pulled and having an orthodontist who didn’t value functionality as much as he valued aesthetics. The treatment with him lead to problems with my bite and chewing that I didn’t have prior and he didn’t care to work at resolving those problems so I was left that way. After that I just gave up for a long time, kinda traumatized by the experience with him and the poor outcome….plus the treatment itself was brutal to say the least.

Several years later I find myself at Mountain West being told that yes it was possible to have a better outcome. I was terrified to take the gamble spending more time and money and pain in my life on this…terrified to trust again….and also scared of INVISALIGN as it was foreign to me. But I took the leap of faith and am now SOOOO grateful I did! First about INVISALIGN, yes it is a little annoying especially at first, but SOOO gentle compared to the orthodontic torture I experienced in the past! And Dr. Tomlin, she is SOOO kind and patient and most of all takes getting good results VERY seriously. She gave me back the functionality I thought was lost to me forever AND my made my teeth better aesthetically as well!!!

Chewing food well and biting down with comfort is most important IMO, and now I get to also love my smile too!! I can’t be happier!!!! With her professionalism, patience, diligence, and expertise she has enabled me to finally find true closure and also satisfaction now. And all her assistants/staff are so kind and I just felt so well cared for there! And a special thanks to Andrea and Leia as well! (Prob misspelling their names)They both really helped me have confidence in the process and so kindly listened to my concerns along with Dr. Tomlin throughout my treatment. Also thanks to Janae for helping me with scheduling issues when life got chaotic! They are ALL truly the best!!!

My 5 year old son has been seeing Dr. Tomlin for 2 years now. He started very apprehensive about the dentist and wouldn’t even lie down in the chair when we first started going, but because all of the staff, especially Dr. Tomlin, is so patient and knowledgeable, my son now goes without having too much of an issue.
It’s just amazing what a warm, caring, patient, and kid-friendly place this is! We are so happy with the treatment we receive there! Everything is so efficient and focused on kids and their well-being.
Because the staff takes their time to explain things, I always know what to expect during our appointments, which makes things go as smoothly as possible. Although I still get nervous about seeing my son being worked on, (cue standard mommy-concern), I know he’s in good hands with Dr. Tomlin and the Mountain West Dental Specialists. I'm giving 3 stars because they were very nice and handled my son very well the despite his challenges. I have a non-verbal level 3 autistic son. He's almost 5. About 5 months ago I had medicaid insurance and had concerns that he had a tooth issue. Due to his behavior becoming almost unmanageable and aggressive while clawing at his mouth more than normal. I took him in and they did their best to get x-rays but couldn't get them. They then tried to get a exam and made it seem as though they checked his teeth well. The dentist said he had no cavities or issues. I was extremely happy and felt reassured it was something else. My sons behavior only got worse and worse and worse. I took him back a few months later after we lost insurance because I finally got a good peep in his mouth one morning while he was yawing and saw a broken and black tooth in the back. I knew it! So they checked his mouth again because now I was sure, tried x-rays again but couldn't get them, no problem. We then decided we had to get him under general anesthesia for a exam and tooth extraction. Got everything priced out and we're told to contact them a week out to schedule because we didn't have the cash for the deposit on hand and it's only cash. I get a call a day before the week saying my son could no longer be scheduled because we didn't pay in time and the soonest appointment was over 2 months away. I get it the anesthesia lady only comes once every 2 weeks, but I was never told I had to pay it right then or risk losing the appointment for 2 whole months. My son was in visible agony, I had scratches and bite marks all over my body from his pain and inability to communicate what was wrong. He had meltdowns every 10 minutes. They didn't listen the first time and brushed me off and him off because it takes more time and effort to look in his mouth. I'm also disappointed because they showed no empathy for him and pushed us back 2 months instead of calling us a couple days before deciding to call us like that. It felt spiteful when she contacted us for us not paying on an uninformed timeline. Anyways, I got into another place and he ended up getting 7 caps, 2 fillings, and the tooth extraction all a week later at a clinic that was beyond exception with my little. End rant.

My 3 year old daughter decided to jump in the pool “backwards” and chipped all her front teeth and knocked one of them back into her gums. Naturally, I was distraught about the whole situation, but immediately knew who to call. First off I'd like to say that I haven't had the greatest experience with dental businesses here in Las Vegas. The experience that I had with Mountain West Dental Specialists was nothing short of amazing. As soon as I entered the facility, I was greeted by Mary Ingall who showed me nothing but kindness and care. The initial check in was a smooth process. Dental assistant Row was very kind and knew how to make me laugh. Dr. Wilson and Hygienist Michelle was very knowledgeable and professional on what I needed to get done for my dental work. Michelle did my deep cleaning and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. Raydrealle the financial coordinator gave me all the necessary options dealing with my insurance plan, making sure it was a smooth process. The whole staff at Mountain West was very welcoming, friendly, and passionate in what they do. Coming from a background where customer service is #1, and making sure that the patient and customer feels happy and confident in your work is the highest priority. I'm new to the southwest and needed to look for a pediatric dentist for my daughter, it was hard because only some dentist offices take Medicaid. I found Mountain West on Google and my sister posted in her Mommy group on Facebook alot of Mom's recommended this dentist. Skyler at the front desk scheduled my daughter's appointment when I called and she was the one at the front desk who checked us in. She's awesome, along with the other girls working the front desk everyone was very friendly. The dental assistant who took her x-rays was quick and super nice we were in and out didn't take long at all. The doctor was super friendly and nice, they also do in office sedation here which my daughter needs because she has quite a few cavities. Super clean, kid friendly lobby has a tv with kids movies playing a good amount of seating and toys kids can play with. My daughter wanted to stay after our appointment and play with the toys in the lobby so if that says anything, that means kids have fun here. We used the restroom also which is was extremely clean and that's always something I noticed when I go to any facility is how clean they keep things like the restroom is important to me. Anyways, definitely make an appointment with them if you're looking for a good dentist. They do pediatrics and orthodontics so perfect for kids in any age range.

Absolutely the best Dentist and Orthodontist! The staff are awesome.
They take care of all my babies from 1 year to 15 years old. They are very kind and patient with the little ones. My oldest whom used to get so nervous going to the dentist no longer gets upset and nervous having to go to his appointments. As a mother of 5 with insurance that didn't cover braces I was worried about how I would afford to put Braces on 2 children at the same time. I was at a point where I was going to decide who needed them more, but Mountain West wasn't going to have me make that decision. They helped me set up an affordable payment plan and both were able to get their braces. I'm so grateful to have found them. A true family atmosphere!

Wow! I have never had a better experience at a dentist office! Dr. Allison and her staff were so warm and welcoming, not only to me, but my kiddos as well. Their facility is so clean, and is the perfect place to entertain and distract kiddos while the entire family gets their dental work done.

I admit I was extremely weary of taking the plunge to get Invisalign touch ups, bur Dr. Allison was so patient and kind in explaining what to expect, and went out of her way to check on me throughout the process to make sure I was ok. It was truly incredible to see her work, as she has so much passion and joy for what she does, and is a true artist. I’m so pleased with the results, and have a newfound confidence in my smile! My only regret is not getting it done sooner!

Her husband, Dr Keaton, is equally kind and caring, and my kids love him! I never thought I would have kids who actually look forward to going to the dentist. He is just so good with kids!

What’s even more amazing is they now have a general dentist in the office, Dr. Wilson, so I can take care of my entire family’s dental needs in one place! Dr. Wilson has been so informative and nonjudgmental in helping me navigate and improve my dental issues such as my gum recession.

I’m so grateful to have found a dental team for my entire family, and I know Dr. Allison will be the perfect person to bring my kids to when the time comes for them to need orthodontic work as well.

Love love love this practice! Dr Allison and Dr Keaton are so patient and kind! Their office is stunning with a modern feel, TV and activity for the kids! The kids want to go to this office! Trust me! The bathrooms have changing pads and diapers! They also have a lactation consultant on site for new moms! They offer way more than your average dental office. Dr. Allison and her crew are amazing! My son had his retainer for a month before our puppy got a hold of it and chewed off the metal. In a panic, a close friend referred me to Dr. Allison. She was available immediately to help calm my nerves about this whole situation and worked quickly to make my son a brand new retainer. Have been taking my2 kids to this location for almost 2 years. We use both the ortho and DDS side of the business. My daughter saw Dr. Keaton to have her tongue and lip tie released. I could not be happier with the results! My daughter couldn’t nurse efficiently and was having to be supplemented with a bottle. Immediately after the procedure she was able to efficiently nurse and we were able to eliminate the bottle all together. The procedure was very quick and healing time was minimal. So I finally took the plunge and in my mid 30s decided to get braces. I am so grateful that I picked Mountain West Dental Specialists to do so. Not only is the staff accommodating and welcoming but they are affordable and work with you on your budget.
Dr. Allison is such a sweetheart. She is very thorough in your treatment plan and explains everything in detail, and in lament terms which I like. Vanessa the ortho assistant is so amazing as well. She explains each and everything she is putting in your mouth during the bonding and makes sure you are comfortable and feeling well. Together Doc. And Vanessa are a dream team.
The front office person Eddy is so welcoming and friendly and he goes over the contract with ease. I literally had to change my contract 3 times and it was no problem. Anne is also, a big help with the front office staff as well. Helping out in the chaos of things. The office itself looks straight out of a magazine. Clean, bright, and beautifully decorated. I have already recommended this office to all my friends and kids. I can't wait to see the results!
