Unlike other doctors and specialists who just read lab results or google online as their basis for treatment, Dr. Richards does more. Aside from analyzing lab reports ( not googling), he listens to what you are feeling regarding your ailment/s and symptoms, and he treats every person he sees as not only a patient but also as a person. I trust him to come up with the right solution and I would recommend him to everybody who needs a great doctor. And his sidekicks, Courtney and Edward, the BEST assistants a doctor could have. Very good customer service on the front end of the office on crimson drive. 🙌

Dr. great but 1/2 hr wait when I was already pretty incomfortable in wheelchair. Office entrance SOOO difficult to get wheelchair through. Sharp sidewalk turn, one door only with no handicapped door button. I expected way better for a bone/joint practice where wheelchairs should have been anticipated! I dread having to return.

Not too crazy about the waiting room set up, but I really appreciate the staff, especially Dr. Richards. He's very positive in his manner. Plus, his personality and professional demeanor put us at ease as he answered all of our questions. Dr. Richard's looks at all the signs and listens to you when it comes to you and the injury at hand. Takes all of the necessary precautions. Very thorough with exam and explains what needs to be done.

Final update: I am happy to say that I am fully recovered from my surgery by going g to my scheduled physical therapy. My last session was on the 13th of January. I have full motion and I am back to playing my sport.

Update: now that I've had my surgery 2 weeks ago, he came in re-explained the procedure so it is fresh and told me that I was main event. 😆 After surgery, he told my husband that all went well and I also had a slight tear in my meniscus on top of the fully torn ACL. 2 sutures for that was easy.

Post op 2 weeks later this past Thursday, everything looked great and I can start my physical therapy.

Thank you Dr. Richards for caring, doing a great job on my knee and moving me forward for a full recovery so I can go back to playing sports.

I have both hip and knee issues. Dr Richards is very attentive, thorough and efficient. Dr Richards, First of all I want to thank you for the care you have provided to me. When I went to my appointments (January 4 and last week, 2/1/2024, we made arrangements to proceed with replacement of my right knee.

The date for my surgery was set for 02/16/2024 at Valley Hospital. After leaving your office, I proceeded to take care of my pre-op testing & requirements.

I went to Quest on Friday for lab work and as I was in the process of have my blood drawn when I received a call from Kathy in your office, who advised me that my surgery has been cancelled.

She told me that as of January 1, my insurance will not cover any care I receive from you. Needless to say, I am very stressed. Your employee told me I have to find someone else to perform my surgery. No advice on a possible specialist… just that it was my problem.

My insurance suggested that I try processing an Application For Transition of Care since my surgery had already been approved in November, 2023 for December 1 to April 1.
Hopefully this can resolving a positive manner.

Unfortunately before I could have surgery, my knee collapsed on November 5 resulting in a concussion and fractured right shoulder .

I was feeling very confident with Dr Richards performing my surgery. Now I feel abandoned. Bone & Joint Specialists is the only group that I have been treated by since 2019.

Had I known that my authorization would not be valid after January 1, I would have asked for a recommendation from Dr Richards.l am attaching a copy of my authorization letter FYI.

I would appreciate assistance in either proceeding with my approval or recommendation of another specialist. Also, I have my fractured shoulder & arm to deal with! I am at a loss. I would appreciate your assistance with this situation.
