If you are LGBTQIA+ thn thus is not the place for you. Staff does not respect your pronouns, with the doctor shrugging after being corrected and the person helping to pick glasses out actually laughing at my son for requesting a more masculine pair of frames, then proceeding to try and give my son very fem pink and purple frames to try on. I'm not going to come here again after we pick up my son's glasses.

My wife, Star, had her light adjustable lens cataract surgery with Dr. Schorr. She was absolutely amazing and very pleased with the results. The office staff was excellent. We highly recommend NVison!

Dr Wong is a very warm and nice Optometrist. She fully explains every procedure being performed and doesn't do anything you don't want her to do. Overall, her staff is very nice, especially Wendy, and the waiting time is very short to be seen. I highly recommend this place.

Very calming and very forward. Dr. Schorr was very informative of my condition and was able to help me take the next steps and do a procedure on me. I definitely recommend coming in for a check and booking an appointment with Dr. Schorr.

I have seen a couple eye doctors previously and they all just never really give me anything that works for my dry eye and redness problems all they do is prescribe a glass and some eye drop which I don’t want a glass It was my first time seeing Dr Doris Wong and I have to tell u even when she exams ur eye she take her time and ask u all the right questions and when I was getting some medication my insurance won’t cover it she give me this pharmacy information it’s cheaper to pay out of my pocket and she called them make sure they have it and ask the price have them deliver it to my home I never seen any doctor goes out of their way to help other the way she did it very knowledgeable patient and nice I’m very pleased even the staff are very nice I definitely recommend it thank you Dr Doris Wong

After using LENSCRAFTERS for years I decided to go see Dr. Williamson @ NV EYE CARE E. Flamingo/Burnham.
He was very thorough with my examination & discovered broken blood vessel in my right eye. He was concerned so he told front desk to get referrals from my HMO to be seen by Dr. Zamora. Zamora ran more test & then I was referred to Dr. Wilkins (Retina specialist). All this was done quickly from Dr Williamson office. Dr. Williamson is patient & a caring Dr for his patients. He even called me after my visit with him to check on my progress. I will continue seeing Dr. Williamson every year because I trust him & he cares about keeping me informed with my eye care.....great Dr.

My insurance would cover everything. They still tried to gouge a veteran for unnecessary testing plus time for unwanted dilation and trying to upsell everything else. Not a good reference from a patient of 7 years. Dr Williams seems nice. Fyi

My first visit to Nevada Eye Care Optometry was amazing. It is a small practice owned by a husband and wife. The optometrist I saw was Dr. Williamson, he really cares and is efficient with his time with you. I appreciated his thorough, detail oriented explanations throughout the eye exam and dilation process! Very personable and professional optometrist, as well as affordable.

After visiting larger optometry locations where everything seemed impersonal and focused on up charges, I found Nevada Eye Care and Dr. Williamson. To be fair, there are still up charges. No matter where you go, your insurance never seems to cover everything fully. However, the small family practice always seems a lot more welcoming to me. Dr. Williamson is extremely thorough in his exams, using new techniques to not only make the experience more pleasant but also showing true concern for your welfare. There's no rush to get through the vision screening, giving you the time and consideration needed to make sure your proscription is best suited for you. Booking an appointment is also extremely easy, I was able to see them within the week on the day that worked best for my schedule.

I have seen optometrists for eye examinations for 50 years, and the examination I had today with Dr. Williamson at Nevada Eye Care Optometry was the most thorough one I have had. He took all the time needed to explain the tests and check my vision and eyes. I had not read his biography on their website before I saw him, but I just read it. Now I can see why his examination was so precise and complete, considering his background. I recommend him without reservation to anyone who needs an eye examination.

I called to make an appointment and I believe one of the doctors answered the phone. I should have hung up the phone right after he couldn't get the name Bower correct. But I persisted. This man insisted the name was Bowers and I told him at least three times there was no "s". I spelled B-o-w-e-r out twice for him and he stilled seemed to be having difficulty. Then he insisted that Medicare does not cover glasses. Lord help me. I had to explain to him that Medicare advantage plans do cover eye exams and glasses. I finally just hung up. Totally unprofessional and incompetent.

If I could , I wouldn’t give Dr. Wong ANY stars. I found their information on the VSP website. I called to confirm that they can see children under the age of 2 & was told yes. I was told that they will present pictures to the child and ask them to vocalize what they see. I went on to explain that my son has a speech delay and was reassured that they could see him & complete the exam. This was a horrible experience. I would never take my child here again and I would highly advise any parent search for an office that is actually kid friendly. The woman lacks patience and was so busy lecturing me and my husband about how we needed to get our son to cooperate because she was unable to complete the exam. She was insistent that we allow her to put drops in his eye that would burn. But then also stated that even if she did this , he might not respond and complete the exam. We left the office and even as we were leaving she continues to repeat the same information “make sure your son completes the exam if you reschedule, because I have other people that I could fill in those appointment slots “. In other words “you wasted my time . I’ve made sure to tell other parents NOT to visit this place if their children need an eye exam.

I just called to verify insurance information, and to see when their earliest appointment is available. I am literally walking around with one contact in, & I am legally blind. Instead of trying to schedule the appointment, or even listening; the lady who answered the phone was more worried about pushing away new patients depending on their insurance. First lied and said my insurance didn't cover contacts, then said well you only have $100 allotted towards contacts and if you have astigmatism you have to pay the $5 difference. Even not letting me get a word in, & over talking me. I didn't ask you that, nor does that really matter if I'm telling you I'm legally blind with one contact in; currently suffering from migraines and throwing up. Was it your assumption I couldn't afford the $5 difference, or even if it was a $20 difference? Did you ASSUME because of my insurance, I couldn't afford whatever out of pockets costs I would have after my $100 was met? I will be contacting my insurance, and reporting this office. More worried about money, than customers; not knowing I'm in highrises & condos, I have Medicaid because I broke my leg in 2 places not because I'm broke. Thank you though, I recorded the conversation.
