I have been here a couple times because Dr Neibaur is so thorough and attentive but this time every single person I was in contact with went above and beyond for me. Starting w/ the girl who called to check on my insurance coverage. She was a gem. Kind patient and happy. Then the guy who did my eye exam before seeing the doctor was AMAZING. He was so so good. Listen to my concerned let me go back and forth between the screens to make sure which one was more clearer. He never rushed me and gave him his very best. Respectful and polite. And of course Dr Neibaur was exceptional. 5 stars everywhere

First of all I like my Dr. Gassen, but the wait time needs to improve. I got to my appointment 15 min. early, checked in and waited another 45 min. to be called. Once there, it took another hour or more to get completed. I wish I was aware of the fact that it would take over 2 1/2 hrs. To complete my annual appt. I would give my doctor 5 star, staff is always changing and I would give them a 3 star, but the appointment wait time needs to improve or at least tell people that an appointment could take upto 2 hrs or more, so you can plan your day.

I strongly believe the doctors and staff are very knowledgeable. I believe they do good work.

My issue is with how busy and rushed they are. Some technicians are friendly while others are not.

I received a new prescription for lenses. I couldn't pick it up at checkout and had to go to the optical store to retrieve. The store was packed and had to wait even though i had already checked out.

My request is for this office to streamline their services and decrease wait times. Staff need training on basic office social skills.

The intake process is automated and very efficient. The desk staff are personable, polite and professional. My wait time to be seen was only about 15 minutes. The technicians were also professional and very focused. They were thorough in reviewing and updating my chart and they administered my tests with proficiency and care. My doctor is among the best anywhere. He is so knowledgeable and observant and pays attention to detail. He is patient and answers all questions fully. This visit was great. I highly recommend them.

Simple eye exam no contacts lenses or dilation just needed a script for my old scratched glasses. This is a 20 minute appointment with target, walmart etc. This place is ran like a human factory its awful. Using 40 year old technology Never again !

I see a doc at Nevada Eye Physcians for my routine annual check-up. Actually when I say I "see" the doc what I mean is that he's in front of me for about three minutes at the end of the assembly-line=style check-up.

Prior to the appointment, Nevada Eye Physicians sent me a text and email so I could pre-check-in, and submit my insurance information so I wouldn't have to do that the day of the appointment. That's great. I appreciate getting that out of the way before I get there. Once that was completed, I got three or four reminders of the upcoming appointment with requests to verify my pre-check-in submissions. That's cool. I get that it's important to Nevada Eye Physicians that I keep my appointment and show up on time. I get it. I understand. I wish they understood that keeping the appointed time is also important to me. I was left cooling my heels in the crowded, uncomfortable, waiting room well past my appointment time until - finally - someone called me to begin the assembly line.

Oh well. I'll go back next year for another check-up. Not because I love the place but because I have a history with them that they use to measure changes in my eye health. Oh well. They provide competent medical care delivered in a mediocre fashion.

I called with an emergent appointment. I was a first time patient and they got me in rather quickly. The lady that spoke to me to make the appointment was very nice and professional. I really appreciated the expected wait/appointment time as well.
I did have to wait about 50 min from check in to be seen but it was expected, and I was fit into the schedule.

Nurses and doctor were all efficient and very nice. I don't think I'll need to be back but I would absolutely recommend this practice if anyone needs an opthamologist.

My one year post cataract surgery on both eyes went well. The technicoons who examined me prior to seeing the doctor were very professional and helpful answering my questions. Dr. Neibauer is a wonderful doctor. I asked for a prescription for sunglasses for driving .. got it. I had mono vision surgery and glad I did. One year follow up. My vision is close to 20 20. Prior to the surgery I probably wouldn't have been able to pass a DMV eye test.

My appointment was with Dr. Rouweyha and I’ve never felt so dismissed at an appointment before. He was in and out in 90 seconds. He kept talking over me, he refused to answer any question I had, and he walked out the door in the middle of my sentence. I understand that it’s a revolving door and he needs to get to the next patient but each patient deserves to be heard and understand what to expect next. The rest of the staff was nice.

I just had my first appointment here and was very impressed by how efficiently it is run even though the lobby was packed with patients and staff, they really get patients in and out thoroughly and quickly. The reason I'm only giving three stars is for the Doctor himself, who came in like a whirlwind talking a mile a minute with a student to observe and between the two of them, I've had to interrupt him several times to literally ask him to slow down and explain words and treat me like I was part of the conversation. He did stop and explain things but still so quickly and I just really did not appreciate feeling so rushed. I plan to go back because they're the only people that take my insurance and I do have faith that this doctor is far more experienced and knows what he's doing than my previous ophthalmologist so honestly if he would just slow down and include the patient rather than just bowl through I would have probably given five stars. When my vision is clear and he's done the work on my post cataract eye floaters, I do feel confident that I will be happy with my experience. 🤞

The office uses ancient equipment, lack of general maintenance, need paint touch up, general vibe is of a gray hound bus depot. Nobody working there cares. At the Henderson clinic on Wigwam and have to tall you that from all the previous Doctors that I have seen I really like the way he checked me , he explained everything that he was doing and also making comparisons with previous check ups and also on his favor he speaks two languages the most commons English and Spanish and that is a gain for your office. .

The prescription that I was initially given by the doctor for distance glasses was not working, so I called and got an appointment to come in and have my distance vision checked. When I arrived and checked in, I was told that I had to go through the entire check up again. On March 18 I made another appointment with the desk clerk who wrote out my appointment on a business card. I then decided to cancel my appointment made for April 7 because I am not sure insurance would cover another visit. I was then told by the scheduling operator that I did not have an appointment even though I had a card with a date written on it by someone in the office. Had I not called to cancel, I would have made another 30-minute trip to the doctor's office only to find that I did not have an appointment.

I had to pay before my surgery by phone, and I was told that if I didn’t pay, I would not be operated on. However, the person assigned to take my payment never answered the phone. I called for several days, both in the morning and in the afternoon, and no one responded.

One day before my surgery, I received a message saying that if I did not make the payment, my surgery would be canceled. I was very stressed because I had been trying to pay for a whole week without success. I replied to the message, and they finally called me back when there were only two minutes left before they closed.

The attention at the clinic for examinations is honestly very poor. The only place where the staff is kind and professional is at the surgical clinic.

I give Nevada Eye Physicians two stars just for getting me an appointment within two days for an urgent problem. Unfortunately I sat in the waiting room for at least half an hour past my appointment time, then it was at least another half an hour before I saw the doctor. The waiting room was almost empty, so why did I have to wait so long?
I believe the kiosks are very impersonal as well. Apparently the front desk staff aren’t required to actually talk to patients anymore.
I appreciate my ten minutes spent with a doctor. The rest of the experience is what is making concierge medicine more attractive every day.

The Henderson office seems very well organized and the staff are all very sweet & caring. Dr Orton is exceptional. I only have one complaint which dropped them 1 star. I have to get my eyes dilated each year. It's not easy to see afterwards. So sending me to their eyeglass center to pick up my print out of my vision prescription & wait behind people picking out glasses after the check up is ridiculous. That's all i want since i can't see well to pick out anything else. And they didn't have enough help to even just ask for the print out. All busy with customers & one with a product sales guy. So i left without it.

I checked in at the Kiosk and it said you can not check in until 20 minutes before the appointment-WHY
When I finally checked it I had to input all the insurance cards I had already verified before I got there. I spoke to the receptionist who was rude, unhelpful and said the precheck in was optional.
I go for my eye exam with some new kid who doesn’t know how to operate the machine

What I don't like is that they have no value for time (I spent over 2 hours there for an eye exam) and their dialation room I had to shut their annoying TV off twice. Hey your sight is blurred, let's annoy your ears as well. Volume way lower or TV off. We don't need it loud. We didn't come see you guys cause we have hearing issues.

Anyways, I value time GREATLY. You guys gotta stop overbooking and find a way to HONOR people's time. Not everyone values their time at $0 p/hr. Think about that.

zero stars! very impersonal rushed services from check in to departure. The eye refraction did not include my known prism issue so it wasn't included in the new prescription until I complained and then they put in the old prism#.. The doctor spent less than 2 minutes with me and directly lied about my PCO (cloudy vision) could be corrected with the new glasses! He said "Come back in 6 months and we will check it again"

Yesterday, I had appt. at 3:45 pm for follow up for my rt. & lt. eye. It’s >1 hr no one called so I approached the front desk. I spoke to 2 people before I was called. Left and am looking for another doctor. I was told there was a new person who nade a mistake. I waited an hour in the dark dialation room waiting for the doctor when my eyes weren't even dilated. It was so strange because usually the doctor tells me whether I need a new prescription, not just asks if I want one. And then the doctor started to dilate my eyes, and the assistant said shouldn't we do the eye check first. So then they checked my eyes. I felt like I was at the first day of a new McDonald's, where everyone is very confused.

My appointments are always behind schedule by an hour. The entire appointment for an eye exam and medical exam takes 2 hours when you walk in the door. If you self register at their kiosk too early, you'll get rejected and tell you to check-in later. Some patients don't see that. I had to switch to a different doctor because my original one doesn't fit my schedule. The doctor said "what has doctor so and so been tracking for you over the last 7 years?". Wait what? Didn't you read my file? The last 4 visits, I've woken up with crusty red eyes the next day. Wasn't always like that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wait times were extremely long in both the external and internal waiting room at Wigwam. Appointment times do not matter at all. The physicians are completely dismissive of your concerns, inconsistent with their exams/measurements, take no time with the patient, and do not personalize care at all. Privacy is also an issue - I was able to read someone else’s entire chart (name, age, birthday, notes, and room number) from my room and I can’t see out of one eye at the moment. This was from my bad side too. For the third visit in a row with three different doctors, they have done absolutely nothing to help me and just keep scheduling appointments. I am in constant pain and having other issues, yet I was blown off. I already know my diagnosis, I don’t need to waste my time, gas, and paycheck, to be told again and that I just have to suffer. Suddenly not being able to see clearly is frightening and greatly interferes with your daily life - an ophthalmologist should educate you and tell you everything you can do to help get better, not tell you what you already know and nothing else. The only good thing is the back office assistive staff are kind in the three different offices I’ve been to. Thank you to Tegan at the Green Valley office. Parking is also a problem at each and every location thus far, especially Wellness Way.

The ophthalmology exam my son received on 12/9/2025 was inadequate and disappointing. Neither the assistant who performed his sight test and dilated his eyes, nor the ophthalmologist, showed respect, concern for his comfort, or provided the comprehensive exam he deserves—especially given his medical diagnoses. My son has tuberous sclerosis complex, autism, limited speech, and intellectual disability, yet he was cooperative and pleasant throughout.

The assistant administered the eye chart test, but my son didn’t fully understand the directions. His care provider and I, his mother and guardian, tried to help by pointing to the letters, but this method is not accurate for someone with his level of understanding. The assistant did successfully measure his eye pressure with a handheld device, which my son tolerated, though I personally require the machine for this test.

When it came to eye drops, the assistant struggled to administer the first set. My son was not protesting, just squinting in anticipation. Instead of persisting, the assistant skipped the first (numbing) drops and went straight to the dilating drops, which stung his eyes. I was upset to realize later that the first drops were meant to prevent this pain. I was unaware that dilating drops sting, as I have always received numbing drops first. The assistant’s disregard for my son’s comfort was unacceptable.

While waiting for his eyes to dilate, I requested a quieter space rather than returning to the busy, bright waiting room. The assistant claimed the dilation waiting room was a “tight fit,” but when we were brought there, it was spacious, dark (appropriate for dilation), and had plenty of empty chairs. I felt misled and disrespected by the assistant’s response.

During the exam, the doctor had another person present but did not introduce them or ask for our consent, which is standard practice in other offices. The doctor quickly examined my son using the chin-and-forehead support device, briefly mentioning the risk of eye tubers due to my son’s condition. The exam was extremely brief compared to my own recent ophthalmology visit, where I received a much more thorough evaluation.

The doctor noted my son’s prescription for dry eye drops and suggested changing it to “as needed.” I explained that, since my son lives in a group home with multiple nurses, it’s better to keep it as a regular prescription to ensure his needs are met.

I asked if there was an automatic test to assess my son’s eyesight, given the limitations of the chart test. The doctor acknowledged such a test exists but dismissed its necessity, saying my son’s 20-40 or 20-50 vision is “functional” since he doesn’t drive. However, I later learned that the autorefractor test, which I received at my own appointment, would have been appropriate and more accurate for my son. He has successfully completed this test at another office, and Medicaid covers it once every 12 months, so there was no reason it should have been omitted.

Given my son’s risk for eye tubers, a thorough retinal exam was essential. The lack of thoroughness and respect shown by both the assistant and the doctor was unacceptable. I will seek another ophthalmologist who will respect my son and provide the comprehensive care he needs. I do not recommend this doctor, the assistant, or this office.

I request a follow-up from the office and urge staff training to ensure respectful, thorough care for patients with intellectual disabilities, equal to that provided to all other patients.

This time we also had to schedule cataract surgery for my wife and I, and it was very smooth, and accomodating, everything was explained properly.
If there is anything that needs to improve, I will say iy is the kiosk check in that it does not allow you to check in until 20 min prior to your appointment.
I still do not understand why is this as if you have an appointment scheduled and a time, it does not shuold matter at what time one checks in, as you will be called according to appointment time, and not check in time

The office is very big. I signed in electronically. Waited about 30 minutes checked out the optical store and was called back. The assistant did a few tests and I went back out to wait for the doctor. About 7 minutes later I went to the room and the ophthalmologist came in , did a test and said all looks good and to go out to get my glasses prescription and see him in 6 months.
Went to the optical shop to get my prescription and there were 2 optometrists but they had customers and 4 customers were waiting. We decided not to wait. The shop wasn’t very big and the one pair of frames I looked at were very expensive. My husband went back later and got my prescription. I think I’ll go to a different eye store.

I recently completed my cataract surgeries (you go through two separate surgical dates) and my distance vision is superior, thanks to Dr. Neibaur and his suggestion I opt for the Toric IOLs for my astigmatism. I lived in glasses most of my life so this gives me a freedom I haven’t encountered most of my life. Nevada Eye Physicians has wonderful staff and wait times are appropriate for office visits. Dr. Neibaur alleviated many of my fears about the process and within two or three days, I had dramatic results from the surgery.

1st visit to this facility. Went to front desk she pointed to the kiosk to check in. Not a hello, can I help you just pointed to the kiosk. After waiting taken into a room.to have my eyes dilated and vision check. Although didn't feel like a true vision check. My optometrist is 100% more throughal.
Then back into the waiting room then taken to a room for Dr to exam. Dr walked in said hello, looked at my eyes and said its POSSIBLE, you have glaucoma. I tried to ask questions but he was dismissive and said to sched with another Dr for eval on that. He spent maybe 3 minutes. Escorted then to the waiting room, told to take a seat and wait for discharge desk to call me to sched an appt, this took about 10 minutes. Finally sched follow up and told to go to optometry side to get prescription for glasses. Now they took their time and were quite pleasant. I might sched an appointment with another facility that at least try to act like they care.

I had read the reviews about Dr. Singh and was looking forward to a comprehensive exam. But the exam, both for my husband and me, was quick and lacking. In fact, they didn't even check my husband's prescription, which I believe is a standard practice. Place had drastically gone downhill. Been a patient for over 15 years. 2 kids, husband and myself all patients here. Dr. Orton is fantastic. The rest of the staff is disorganized, no communication. Trying to get an appointment for a contact lesson was a nightmare. Optical kept transferring to another dept which kept transferring to Optical. No one could help me. Finally got someone to make the appointment, went in sat in Optical for 20 mins just to be told to check in with the Dr. Waited almost an hour till called us back for the lesson. Lesson was good, very informative. She then tells us to wait to check out , to make a follow up, sat for another 30 mins waiting for check out and still not called. Friendly staff, very helpful. I forgot my insurance card and they walked me through how to get it online without making me feel old or silly. It was very nice. The Dr's assistant's were very nice and explained everything as we went along. The Dr. was very knowledgeable and gave me more alternatives for my dry eye issues . It was a very nice first time visit.

Whole family always see Dr Orton and He is the best Dr we've ever seen that I wish I could give him more than 5 star. The one star I gave is for scheduling department. We made schedule ahead of time with Dr Orton and for the the last minute they will change it to a different Doctor. So you have to scramble your schedule to make another appointment to see Dr Orton. Thats the only negative with this Dr's office.

Dr. Singh was amazing! Very thorough with excellent bedside manner. Explained my problem in terms I could understand clearly. We discussed my options and came up with a thorough treatment plan. He is one of the top ophthalmologist in Las Vegas! Recommend him without reservations!

wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This was my first and last visit. After being sent to the waiting room to wait for the doctor I noticed several people came in — one of them was just leaning against the door, clearly not interested in being there and only accompanying a colleague. The door to the exam room was wide open, so there was no privacy at all.

The appointment itself lasted maybe five minutes. When I went to pick up my prescription, it was completely wrong, and now the pharmacy has to call the doctor to fix it. Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Edit 9/23: Nevada Eye Physicians contacted after reading my review and worked hard to resolve my issues. It took weeks of insurance wrangling but I am finally getting the treatment Dr R planned for me months. Thank you, NV Eye and Susan in particular for your efforts! Five star service!

Dr Rouweyha is great; I trust him, he's informed and experienced. But Nevada Eye Physicians office is terrible. 3 times in 9 months I've gone, and 3 times insurance has refused to approve my prescriptions, and all 3 times the office has NOT responded. Every follow up visit I tell them no one at Nevada Eye Physicians has responded to my phone calls for assistance, every time Dr Rouweyha has apologized, and I still never get called back, never get help, and go months without treatment.

I believe Dr Rouweyha when he says he does not understand what is going on that the office is not calling me back nor working to help me resolve insurance issues nor find alternative prescriptions. But the situation has not changed. He quite simply cannot get his office to respond to my voicemails. The right hand doess not know what the left is doing at Nevada Eye Physicians.

Everyone was nice and did their job .. My appointment was at 1:45 but I didn’t get called back until 2:25 and that I think is a little bit ridiculous .. After that, the process goes pretty smoothly until it’s time to leave .. I just wanted to get my prescription and go, but I had to wait in line in the Eyeglass department to get my prescription to leave because there was a couple people ahead of me they were .. I wasn’t getting glasses there so I just needed my prescription so I could leave .. I got my prescription and then she says OK now they’ll call you to check out and I was like what I’m ready .. She said you need to check out .. I waited for quite a bit and then I went up and asked the girl at the desk. I believe I need to check out and she asked me my name and she said oh they just brought your file over and I said they just brought it over now she said yes We will Call you when we’re ready for you .. I waited a few more minutes and then she called my name and wanted to make an appointment for next year and I said I already told them that I’ll make my appointment closer to the time when I need to come and she said oh OK then you can just go I don’t know why they told you to wait then .. So then I was able to leave .. But I do have to say everybody was nice and did their jobs

Nevada eye physicians is very good. They take you pretty promptly within 20 minutes. Dr Gasson is who I go to for eyeglasses or eye check up. Dr. Singh was excellent for cataract surgery. I have no complaints. They were very organized.

The doctor is very pleasant and rakes his time to explain the results and why the checkup is important. A little more training is needed for the assistants that perform the test and dilate your eyes.

Nevada eye physicians uses technology help check in and expedite the entire check in process. Nurses are efficient and effective move from room to room ticking of the boxes. Dr. Gassen is a true pro and always wants to make sure he takes care of all my questions and ensure that I’m getting The best care of my eyes could ever want. He’s polite and professional and I’ve enjoyed going to him for several years. They run a great efficient clinic.
