Dr Lu and her staff made me feel at ease. I was nervous when I entered the surgery room for the removal of a skin legion on my lower right eye. Dr Lu informed me of the procedure and post care. My wife's eye surgeries were a big step in help her being able to see more clearly. Dr Lam did a fantastic job on both surgeries and recovery has been excellent. I was very happy with my first visit to see Dr.Hildebrand for an eyelid surgery.
The young technician who took lots of photos and did the tests required by the insurances was very kind and helpful. I had a very good impression with the surgeon, I was very nervous and anxious but he answered all my questions. Hopefully, the insurances will agree.

B4 the surgery when i tried to make my 1st appt, i was told i need to come in and COMPLETE paperwork b4 i can make an appt. I did so, but to my surprise full payment was required right there and then...$5500 w/out full disclosure that full pmt will be collected that very day, not just paperwork. Altho i didn't have an issue giving them my credit card, that didn't sit right w me that i wasnt even told b4hand w such important detail.
Then, i called today post surgery for an appt...i was put on hold for awhile, then i was told the apptd day and time abruptly and in a hurry, that when i tried to confirm the time, the phone was already dead.

Mgmt should look for customer svc training of their staff, especially for a somewhat high--end clinic.

I am truly pleased with my visit to New Eyes Oculoplastic Surgery center. I was in and out in less than one hour. I was referred to New Eyes by my dermatologist in Lake Havasu, AZ because I was diagnosed with Basal cell carcinoma on my lower tear duct.
This was my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed. Front desk was friendly and professional.
The waiting room layout was perfect. To Include a convenient restroom was something you rarely see.
The prep individual was very efficient and obviously experienced.
I drove 3 hours for what I thought was an unnecessary appointment. It turned out to be one of the best days of my life.
Dr Lu put my mind at ease in such a short time it still amazes me. I actually had my first good night’s sleep in many weeks.
To say I recommend Dr Lu and New Eyes Oculoplastics is a definite understatement.
PS: one month later: Needless to say I was apprehensive the day of surgery. I am not exaggerating when I say it one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever had. I would truthfully compare it to a day at a spa.
Five painless days later I took the huge bandage off and was amazed at what I found. I call Dr Lu the Picasso of eye surgery.
PSS: (10 days later)I had my follow up appointment with Dr Lu yesterday. She removed the stitches and took the time to explain in detail what she had done.

Doctor was nice, but very terse. The office did not explain the first appointment is a consult, then another appointment for biopsy, then another for removal and probably another for post op. All of which is a co-pay. I felt like that could have been explained better. Check in was easy. Doctor couldn’t “find” the issue, and as the patient I had to point it out. Mixed opinion overall.

Dr.Lu did my husband's lower eyelids surgery a week ago and looked real good and healing well . We are very with the surgery result , his eyes looked like it's back to normal. He had 5 surgeries before this with a different surgeon and it was really very frustrating. We are very happy that Dr.Lu was referred to us by another ophthalmologist. This was an answered prayer. I look marvelous! If you’re thinking about getting your eyes done do it. Dr Lu is a great surgeon. Everyone at New Eyes are professional, they listen and they are not stuffy. I felt very comfortable and they are so friendly. I give everyone five stars.

Although I’ve worked in the medical field for over 20 years, eyes are the one organ that really freaked me out! Of course, that would be the one and only organ, causing me an issue and requiring me to see multiple eye specialists… Thankfully, from the second that I walked into the office I was greeted with a calm and welcoming crew of staff who clearly wanted to help. There’s a good possibility that my eye condition is related to an autoimmune disease I’ve been battling for most of my life, but some physicians won’t acknowledge the fact that I have an autoimmune disease because it’s “invisible.” For the first time in a while, I did not have to defend myself or my invisible illness and the doctor asked me if it would be ok if she ordered a few more scans to rule things out before we went right to surgery being the only resolution. To say I am relieved and comfortable is an understatement and I wish that every provider I saw was As empathetic, patient and understanding as everyone in this office was during the time of my visit! Thank you all!

Dr Tracy Lu and her assistant did an exceptional job on my eye. There was no pain involved at all and I was taken in as soon as I got there. After many Dr's from Rhode Island wouldn't do it dr Lu took it on with no problem. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED.

I had my first appointment yesterday at New Eyes and it was a great experience from start to finish! This office was super busy, got in a lil late for my scheduled appointment, but everything was timely. Since it was soo busy, each patient was called in, seen, sent back out to lobby to wait again, seen again, sent back out to lobby again, and then seen again, then sent back out to the lobby, then seen one last time before leaving finally. They didn’t have enough patient rooms inside to see all the patients for that day. It was weird but it was orderly. Kinda unique in a sense, but the staff were super cool.

I’ve had a VERY positive experience with this physician, practice, and surgery center. I worked in healthcare for 50 years, so I’m familiar with what good care, procedures and processes look like. Everything was explained to me, and it all ran smoothly. The team was like a well-oiled machine. On our way home, I was astonished postoperatively at how much MORE I could actually see. I had become accustomed to having my vision being affected but didn’t realize how much until after it was no longer a problem. I recommend them highly!

I needed to have a small procedure done on my bottom eyelid. The reception staff was very pleasant, professional and helpful. My rating is because of the office staff. I was referred here through my eye doctor’s office. After three and a half weeks making numerous phone calls, leaving messages after messages that are NEVER returned, I was finally able to make an appointment. When showing up for appointment, I was told my insurance was not accepted (which was verified previously). I wonder if the doctors are aware of how the business is being conducted in the front office, I doubt it. Didn’t get a chance to see or speak with a doctor.

I was so happy to finally be able to get Blepharoplasty/upper eye lid surgery done on both of my eyes. Dr. Lam was the doctor for office visits & the procedure. Dr. Lam and the STAFF were very professional and personable & they prepared me well for the procedure. This experience exceeded my expectations. Following the recovery instructions, there was minimal discomfort & issues with healing.
I would recommend this practice for any eye issues that they would be able to perform.
The only downside to my office visits is that the parking situation is a nightmare! There are so many businesses contained in this complex and I think there are too few sparking spaces to cover all those businesses.

Dr Lam is a miracle worker! No more horizon or skin laying on my eyelashes. However, a plan needs to be in place for those who can’t take Tylenol or ibuprofen! 2 days painful but little need after that. The procedure had me freaked out but while I felt a few feelings there was no pain. All of the anxiety for no reason! The nurses told me if they ever had the same procedure, Lam is who they’d choose! All in all, great experience three days in although I look scary still!
