I had a great experience with Northern Edge Dentistry. I had quite a bit of dental work done over the course of a few weeks, and everything went extremely well. The staff was professional, friendly, and made the whole process much easier than I expected.

I especially appreciated how often they followed up with me throughout the process to make sure I was doing okay and didn’t have any issues. That level of care and communication really stood out to me.

Overall, I’m very happy with the work I received and would definitely recommend Northerner Dentistry to anyone looking for a dental office they can trust.

In 2021 my husband finally retired and we bought a house in North Las Vegas. I was in search of a dentist nearby, one that can finally work on all my dental needs going forward. After visiting multiple dentists throughout the years I was missing consistency. Searched online and came across Northern Edge Dentistry with numerous positive reviews and appeared to be very clean from the provided pictures. Aliyah and Bella are the current admins. I have encountered. Truly like the smart setup in the office. The admins. are located in the central station when you walk into the office, which they can attend to their clients as they check-in or check-out, this offers structure without interruption. Dr. Pham is excellent at administering the anesthesia and ensures you are numb before proceeding. Honestly, did not feel any pain throughout her corrective dental procedures implemented. Dr. Pham has been successful with all my treatments preformed at this point in time. The hygienist Heather is similar to Dr. Pham. Heather explains the process throughout the procedure. Heather provides post operative instructions following the scaling and root planing and answers any questions you may inquire. Overall everyone is very professional, respectful, with exceptional communication and supportive to your overall dental care plan.

I am suffering from bad teeth and due to the incredible volume of positive reviews I decided to give this dentist a shot. They were very professional and did my initial exam quite quickly. So where does my one star review enter chat? A quick Google of tooth extraction prices in Las Vegas range from 150 to 300$. So why would this dentist want to charge me 1000$ for one tooth extractio!? One that's loose and is about to fall out for free?!?. These are the kinds of greedy doctors and facilities that keep me out of them. 20g for dentures when across the border I can get them for 3 to 5 g..

I had high hopes for this office but ultimately left disappointed. I scheduled an appointment to establish care and receive a routine cleaning. I was required to complete an exam first, which I found unusual but agreed to.

The staff was friendly and professional, and the initial imaging process was thorough. However, during the exam, the conversation quickly shifted toward Invisalign, despite my stated goal of establishing care and getting a cleaning.

I was told I had gum recession and bone loss, while also being told my teeth were “the cleanest” the provider had seen for someone with those conditions. I was then quoted over $800 for a deep cleaning due to moderate to severe gingivitis, which was surprising given I had a routine dental visit six months prior with no indication of gum disease or bone loss. It was also confirmed during this visit that I do not have any kind of gum disease.

Additionally, I was advised to return every three months for cleanings. Based on the significant difference between this assessment and my recent dental history, I did not feel confident moving forward with treatment here.

While the staff was kind, my experience felt more focused on upselling services than addressing my initial reason for visiting. Unfortunately, I also used my insurance benefits for imaging during this visit, which I will now need to repeat elsewhere.

***UPDATE***

I was evaluated yesterday by my wife’s dentist of over a decade, Moore Family Dentistry. The doctor did a full work up with x rays, photos, etc. He said my teeth look great, there is no presence of gum disease, that I have minor recession, but otherwise my gums are healthy. He said all of my fillings look brand new with no presence of decay and no need for them to be redone any time soon. The hygienist cleaned my teeth and sent me on my way.

This place is great. A nearby dental office told me I needed several thousand dollars worth of dental treatment. I came here for an honest second opinion and they saved my teeth and the cost was no where near what the other office quoted me. I can’t express enough how glad I am that I came here. The work I got done was worth every penny. They explained everything clearly and explained what I needed and why. My insurance coverage and all pricing and fees were clearly explained and transparent and they gave me a detailed estimate. What was also great was their flexible monthly payment options which made it super easy and affordable to get my dental work. I had a deep cleaning and other dental work done and they gave me multiple options. I definitely feel that I trust the clinical team here as they are professional, knowledgeable, and had lots of expertise.

I have a lot of experience with different medical appointments and I always leave here feeling so much better than I do when I leave my other appointments. They all care so much about their work and you can clearly see it in how they treat their patients. I was treated with so much care. I’m so appreciative of how helpful and caring they are. Such a great experience from such a top notch professional team. I can’t recommend them enough.

I want to shout out the staff here. They are fantastic! I am very happy to have found this office. It’s always been a struggle for me to find good dental care. Coming here is always such a great experience. My dental needs are fully explained to me. The dentist and staff all take the time to answer questions and fully go over things so that everything is clear. Costs and insurance coverage is also very clearly explained and the prices are very reasonable. Before anything is done, the doctor explains what is needed and why. They show you pictures and photos so you can see what is going on. Then when the staff goes over costs, they provide you with a full breakdown that shows clearly what the costs are and what insurance coverage is. What is also nice is the payment options they have. Their monthly payment options make it very easy and affordable to get work done and a full breakdown is provided so that it’s clear what the payments are.

Getting treatment done is so easy!! The dentist is super gentle. I was able to watch tv while getting work done and it was literally the easiest time I’ve ever had. My cleanings were also quick and easy. I can’t recommend this office enough. From start to finish it has been great.

They have a really fantastic team at this office. I was looking to get work done and I wanted an honest assessment of what I actually needed done. I came here and really appreciated how knowledgeable they were. Not just the doctor but the entire team spent so much time with me answering all of my questions. Their professionalism was exceptional.

I’m glad I came here for a second opinion because I felt like I trusted what I was seeing and hearing, something I didn’t feel at my last office. The work they did was top-notch!! Everything the clinical team did something they guided me through it, which made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. The hygienist and doctor were so gentle! They are so highly skilled at what they do it made the appointments feel so easy.

A quick note on finances. I felt that they were very upfront with me. They helped me navigate insurance and clearly showed what the breakdown of costs would be, both in total and per appointment. Everything was very clear and straightforward.

I am very happy with the treatment that I got from northern edge dentistry. I came here for a second opinion and I found the dentist to be caring, thoughtful, and most importantly honest. They didn’t just tell me what the diagnosis was, they showed me and helped me understand. What I really appreciated was after my deep cleaning, my hygienist gave me really great tips on home care and showed me the things that I could do better on my own. She was extremely knowledgeable and the tips she gave me was invaluable.

I loved how they helped me navigate my insurance and clearly broke down all of the costs to me. Everything was clear and transparent.

Above all else, I really want to take the time to thank not only the doctor but the entire staff. They really treated me well and made me feel cared for. It’s clear that they truly care about what they do and their patients. It felt great feeling like they valued me and that everything done for was important. AMAZING!! I cannot thank the team here enough. From my doctor to my dental assistant to the person that helped me with finances, everything was so easy and great from start to finish! Everyone was an absolute professional in every sense of the word. I’ve honestly never had such a great dental experience. To start, the doctor went over everything with me. It was so detailed and she gave me an honest take on what I needed to have done, what could wait, and what was the most urgent to take care of. She showed me photos of what was my biggest concern and what my options were. She gave a few options and I chose one that I felt was best for me. I really appreciated having input. This was the first time I’ve ever had a dentist actually listen to me!!

When I got my treatment done, I can honestly say it was SO much easier than I thought. I have always been anxious about the dentist. Who wants to get dental work done? I could not believe how easy and painless it was. I had multiple things done in different areas and it was all done before I knew it. Wow! The dentist is like a magician. The entire team is so skilled. When they gave me the mirror to see what my teeth look like, I almost cried. Absolutely amazing!

When it came to costs, everything was very reasonable even with all the work I got done. They helped me understand everything and it was very clear. I saw what my insurance covered and what each appointment costs and what it was for. Absolutely loved that!

My son had an appointment and staff was very nice. He had pain and swelling of gum and was advised a prescription for antibiotics and pain medication were being sent to the pharmacy. Let's start with the positives first, the staff are very friendly and know what they are talking about. The doctor pointed out the bone loss I had like no other dentist did before, I appreciate any dentist that explains things well.

Their billing practices are unethical. Shame on me for doing enough research. I care about my health and always do what's best. They told me I needed deep periodontal cleaning. They added on "Irrigation" and "Laser" treatments that drove my bill up to almost $1,000 dollars. I reluctantly paid for it thinking it was important. Turns out, they are not. The only treatment you need is scaling/root planing. This treats 99% of the bacteria issue. The other two treatments do help admittedly but are not REQUIRED like the staff say they are.

They added the following: Oral Hygiene Instructions, Nutrition Counseling, Cavity Risk Assessment to the insurance bill. These services were not explained properly beforehand, and I did not consent to many of them individually. I did not receive any "Nutrition counseling." While I understand some procedures may not be fully covered by insurance, it is extremely misleading to bundle optional services as if they are standard treatment and then pass the extra costs onto the patient. This cost me an additional $200. I haven't even gotten my deep cleaning insurance cost yet and I'm already out $1,200 dollars. Comparing to my old dentist, I only had a few simple charges. Cleaning and examination. Fully covered. Same insurance. What makes this dentist different from any other. Mind you this dentist is in my network.

I feel this approach is dishonest and financially exploitative, and I would caution anyone to carefully question every procedure and get a written estimate before.

They didn't answer my email at all. I also called and they do not want to do a partial refund for services I haven't even had yet. It's just negative on top of negative.

A few years ago I really loved this dentist, but in the last year I have just felt my experience diminish greatly. Dr. Pham is great, however, the other dentists in the office aren't as great. Dr. Pham is super nice and super professional. I chipped my one of my front teeth about a year ago and was mortified by it and came in right away and saw her. She reassured me it wasn't that bad and that I didn't need any work to fix it as it was very minor. She told me it will smooth out over time, and if down the road I still was concerned we'd talk about it. I felt much better. I did have a cleaning, and the hygienist was super rough and made me bleed, which was unpleasant. Then at my 6 month cleaning I saw the other dentist, I can't even remember her name as she spoke so quietly I could barely hear her, and she wore a mask the whole time so I couldn't even read her lips. She asked me about the chipped tooth and when it had happened. This made me feel like she didn't look at my chart, but whatever. I told her about it. She told me that I needed a cap on it. I told her Dr. Pham said I didn't and I'd prefer not to unless absolutely necessary. She sort of ignored me and drew up a plan and the cost to fix it. Then the same visit, which was just a cleaning, the hygienist was probably the worst hygienist I've ever had. I dont know if it was her first day or what but she seemed so new. She again was super rough. And I told her about a sensitive spot on my gums and she directly hit it with the water maybe 2 times after that. Then she lost control of the sprayer and sprayed my face with water. I know it was an accident but like, it just wasn't a great experience. She also broke the floss in my teeth a few times. I didn't say anything, I just sat there and hoped it would end soon. At the end, when I was checking out, a front desk person started to go over the plan and the cost of capping my chipped tooth. So again I felt like I was being pushed into doing and paying for something I didn't want to do and that the other dentist in there own office said wasn't necessary. Since then I've gotten so many emails about setting up an appointment to follow through with the capping. I had enough and unsubscribed and canceled my upcoming cleaning.
TLDR: Dr. Pham, great, front desk, super nice. Other dentist, too pushy about procedure I didn't even need, and didn't feel listened to. Hygienists, not great and hurt me/splashed me with water.

Dentist retaliates if you don't do their recommended services. They wanted unnecessary $825 cleaning for my 19 year old son which mind you has never had issues with pediatric dentist right before he turned 18 and then wouldn't fill out the paperwork referral needed for my son to get his wisdom teeth taken out because the oral surgeon we choose was not contracted through them. Even our oral surgeon office said they have never heard such a thing. I saw another person review state the same thing that they recommended a $700 cleaning that was unnecessary and then refused cleaning in general. If you go here beware!!! I will also be reporting them for retaliation.

I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I scheduled a routine cleaning, but when I arrived, the dentist refused to perform it. Instead, I was told I needed an “extra” cleaning that would cost $700 and wasn’t covered by my insurance. When I asked for a standard cleaning—the service I had booked—they still refused. It felt like I was being pushed into unnecessary, expensive treatment instead of receiving the preventive care I came in for. I left without getting my teeth cleaned and will be finding a new dentist who respects their patients’ needs and provides transparent, ethical care.

As soon I walked in the staff was friendly and outgoing. Dr.Pham is very friendly and patient in going over what treatment is best for you. Also didn’t put pressure in doing everything at once. She gave me her best opinion and what I was comfortable in doing first. First time I ever had a dentist sit down with me not feeling they were in a hurry to go to the next patient.
