Went in for contacts and the office staff who was showing me how to take them out was so rude. She legit went "Ugh no, you're doing too wrong, see it's like this."
Mind you she didn't explain what I was doing wrong, just treated me like an idiot for not getting it and letting me hurt my eye right in front of her. You can keep the 150 just know this is the experience your getting coming here.
To top it all off the test pair of contacts they gave me to use for a week were painful to wear and hurt me every time I blinked. Yet I'm being told this is normal.
No one wants to be told pain is normal when it comes to their eyes.

Like coming here for my eye exams but the doctors smile honestly scares me, since it seems very forced. It sometimes makes me feel scared to look her in the eyes because she always seems very uncomfortable when smiling, like someone is forcing her to. Just know you dont have to force a big smile. 🙏

Have you seen the movie Smile? The doctor smiles like that and that scared me during. She talks with the smile always on, cheeks high, it was more creepy than friendly, sorry Dr. F!
She is a darling sweet girl and applying what she's learned.
The staff was friendly though a touch pushy on the upsell like there's commission to be had. Definitely get your subscription and go to Walmart for the Frames. You'll most likely pay at least 300 or more for a pair work regular lens, more if you upgrade. Personally, I would rather get a $50-100 frame and use the $ for the lens.

The doctor at this location is a nice person; I don’t fault her for this mess. However, the office staff is another story. I ordered contacts via phone and waited a month with zero updates. After calling multiple times over a week, I was repeatedly told they were on 'backorder.' They promised me MULTIPLE times that they would call their supplier and follow up with me, yet I never received a single phone call.

I got the impression they were full of crap and simply forgot to order my contacts until I started pestering them. I eventually got a refund and ordered online. The online distributor shipped them the same day and they were cheaper.

Love how kind and attentive the entire staff is as soon as we walked in. The eye physician is amazing as well from beginning to end. She was so patient and made sure my daughter was okay before putting the eye drops in. My daughter was crying and didn’t want the eye drops inside her eyes but the doctor made sure she understood everything about the eye drops before putting it in. The entire visit was amazing and I love it.

I went down there about two months ago to get some contacts. first they told me I had to pay out of pocket because I had used my insurance on glasses. I called my insurance and they said it had renewed a couple months prior and the contacts should be completely covered. I go back to Optic Gallery they tell me oh yes the contacts are covered. The moment I tell them I had never worn contacts before, magically they were charging me an additional $70 for a “contacts tutorial” and like another 160 because suddenly my contacts were considered specialty contacts and were only partially covered by my insurance. Not having worn contacts does not make your contacts special. So, I cancel business with Optic Gallery, watch a free YouTube video on how to put contacts in and go to another eye doctor. Bam, my eye exam and contacts are fully covered as they should have been. Total scam at this location, honestly. Don’t waste your money.

This was my second visit for my son and the service was horrible. The girl named Joselyn at the front desk was extremely short and her energy was horrible as if she didn’t want to be at work. I really don’t understand how people work in reception or customer service and don’t have any sympathy for the people they are there to help. We arrived about 5mins after the 10min grace period in there so called policy. That she would not show me in black and white.( Which by law it is supposed to be shown when asked to see it. )There was absolutely no one in the lobby and she would not allow my son to be seen. She kept saying that he could be seen if the next appointment did not show up. How do we have to wait for a no show when we are here and it’s very shortly after his scheduled time. His glasses are broken and he needed this appointment so badly. We will not be returning and I can’t help but feel it’s because we are black. The energy was very off and she was rude as soon as we walked in. I Do not recommend, especially if you are black. We have to start taking our business where it is appreciated. No matter the service needed.

I highly recommend Optic Gallery-Eastern. Dr. Felix is awesome..!! Dr. Felix has great bedside manner, she actually takes the time to explain all procedures in your exam and encourages her patients to ask questions. This was my first eye exam, EVER. Since we changed insurances my son needed glasses and I noticed myself my sight was getting a little less than and have been straining my eyes to focus harder. I feel Optic Gallery on Eastern did a great job took their time with us explained each procedure, then showed us what glasses our insurance covered. I stopped by in the afternoon last week to browse glasses. No one else was in the store, and the associate that was working there seemed more interested in what ever was happening on their phone then actually trying to make a sale. Didn't even get up from behind the desk. I spent 10 minutes looking at frames, and couldn't even try any on due to being locked behind glass, and not being offered to open them. Sorry for the bother, guess not hurting for the business.

Was there today for an 8am appt after waiting 2weeks for an appt. They give a 10min grace period, arrived at 8:13 and the receptionist said my appt had to be rescheduled, there were no other patients in the office, then the receptionist calls me over to say if i am “late” for the next appt they will charge me 50$ after i just spent $30 on 2 ubers (back and forth) to get here for absolutely nothing. I hope she is exemplary at making on time to work everyday

I was kinda nervous When I was getting close to my appointment not having seen an eye Doctor in many moons. When I got there they were very accommodating made me feel relaxed explained each procedure and were very thorough through out my whole eye exam in prep to see the doctor who once I saw her was very friendly and professional. She got me set up with some special glasses since my left eye is fine and all my eye trouble has been with declining vision of my right eye once I get them my vision should improve in leaps and bounds, I would recommend Optic Gallery highly 5 stars all the way.

The office's operating hours conclude at 5 pm. I arrived to collect my ready glasses and drop off another pair needing new lenses. However, at 4:30, the receptionist informed me that I would need to return another time for the latter task as the administrative tasks for the day were finalized. I suggested leaving the glasses for later payment over the phone, but she insisted on in-person handling. With my prescription in hand, I proposed getting the new lenses elsewhere, to which she simply responded, "Ok." It's disheartening that a seemingly indifferent attitude could cost a business valuable customers.
