I made the right decision choosing the Ann Optimal therapy location. The entire staff are amazing and friendly. On arrival for my therapy, I would always be greeted with a smile and a 'hi Oby' by Gabriella (the front desk). I came for my wrist OT not knowing what to expect, but once I met the staff I knew I am in safe hands . All thanks to my OTs; Matt( the man with the magic hands) and Ellise (the game changer). Optimal therapy on Ann road they are amazing. Staff is so friendly they actually help you with your exercise. When I went in could not bend my knee with my therapist (Ray) made it happen In the first 3 day still need more work but I am sure I will be out soon. My best review of Optimal Therapy is simply sharing my achievements after three months of therapy. When my cast first came off, I could not ball my right hand into a fist, and I could not straighten my hand flat. My hand was stuck in a C-shape, and it was very weak.

I can now make a tight fist, four of my fingers have pre-injury range of motion, the fifth can open flat but cannot hyperextend, and my right hand is almost as strong as my left hand. (See the pic of me testing my progress by indoor climbing.) I'm not yet finished, but I'm fairly confident that Optimal Therapy can get me back to my pre-injury normal because they've gotten me this far and they continually modify the exercises to help me unlock the next level of recovery. As long as I put in the work, they won't let me plateau.

Something nice about this office that I didn't expect is that it has a social atmosphere. I feel like I've connected with the staff and the other patients. Despite the fact that every patient is in pain and at least a little frustrated with their body, the environment here is consistently positive and supportive. I like that a lot. The camaraderie has probably helped in my recovery.

I read the negative comments. The one about dry needling could be legit; I haven't used them for that, so I have no opinion to share. The other negative comments do not align with my experience with Matt and Elise in the hand clinic at the Ann location. Those two are competent, respectful and genial.

In short, I'm glad that I ended up here, and I feel gratitude towards the providers and staff for getting me full use of my hand. I would not have been able to do it on my own.

Ray and Feliciano are awesome! I have been seeing them for two months, twice a week, and the exercises they gave me are working. I feel about 85% better than when I started coming here, and I feel a difference every week. Ray has extensive knowledge of how the body works and knows how to work and stretch certain muscles to get you back to being pain free. I don't take NSAIDs or muscle relaxers anymore! Ray is also great at figuring out exactly where your pain is just by listening to you and asking the right questions. He's the first person I've seen in 20 years that could do that. Feliciano is great at developing exercise and movement plans based on your needs and pain level. These two helped me so much. Susan is also great. Keeps appointments on track and is very helpful with guiding you through insurance medical processes, specifically TriCare. I highly recommend this place. The people are just amazing!

I was diagnosed with three degenerative discs and have struggled with SI joint pain for most of my life after years of playing competitive soccer through college.

Ray, Feliciano, and Isaac are truly the best. They genuinely listen, adjust the therapy plan based on how I’m feeling, and always go above and beyond.

Since starting therapy in late December 2025, my SI joint pain — which had lasted for years — is completely gone. My degenerative disc–related spine pain continues to improve with every visit. Honestly, it feels like a miracle.

I can’t thank them enough.

I came to Optimal physical therapy to strengthen my core prior to my forth coming knee replacement. I had severe pain, difficult walking and minimum range of motion in my knee. I met with Tim therapist extremely knowledgeable and personable in providing the right stretches to help gain core strength and relieving pain. I am now getting a stronger core and some pain relief. I was referred there by my OBGYN for my back pain during pregnancy. I have been contacted by them and informed them that it is for my back and I need someone who is specialized/ experienced with pregnant ladies. I was surprised when I started my appointment that the PT had no idea that I was pregnant and also informed me that I need a Pelvic floor PT and they had no one specialized in that in the windmill facility. I wasted my time driving there and filling the forms. Same lady who did the mistake called me back saying she doesn’t remember that I informed her that I’m pregnant and she didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience caused. I began having chronic neck and upper back pain in early 2022. I saw so many doctors and did 4 months of PT and nothing changed. I had given up hope that it would get any better. My pain got a lot worse around March/ May and I wanted to get back into PT. I googled dry needling and that’s how I found this location with an incredible doctor. Greg is a one of a kind physical therapist. He’s aggressive with his technique and exercises, and it pays off. I started seeing Greg at the beginning of June, and I feel the best I’ve ever felt. He takes his time to listen and understand the pain his patients are experiencing. He truly cares. I never thought I could feel this good after 2.5 years of excruciating, 24/7 pain. Honestly the most patient and understanding place I have been to in a very long time. During the pandemic I experienced a lot of bad things that left me reclusive in my house, and the staff here has been great with helping me recover physically from that while I handle the mental fallout. I've been going to Optimal Therapy to work on my hip flexor and it has been great! Greg and his team are truly amazing - they are all very kind and push/ encourage you without it being overwhelming. Over the course of my sessions, I saw great improvement, and we were able to adjust what exercises I was doing based on how things were healing and how I was strengthening different muscles. I felt like Greg, Jason and Kristina were very receptive to feedback - for example if I said I was feeling pressure or pain in a certain spot, they were helpful to adjust exercises as needed. I'm so thankful for the time that I had here because with their help I'm feeling so much better & mobile versus when I first came in. If I ever need PT again, I will specifically ask for a referral to this clinic and team!

I love this PT group. I go because of my lower back and sciatica issues. Greg is the best at stretching my back and he uses a good amount of force and pressure that actually helps me get around for another week. Greg and his team help me manage the pain so I don't have to have surgery. His technicians are kind and know how to deal with us seniors. I tweaked my neck/trap/shoulder while doing chin ups and after a month of thinking the pain would go away on its own I finally made an appointment to see Greg at Optimal PT. The pain had gotten so bad I had to lay in bed to do my remote job. After the first session I already noticed a big difference in my pain, and after going 2x/week for 4 weeks the issue was almost unnoticeable. I still do the exercises I learned as pre-hab for rock climbing. I appreciated how knowledgeable and honest Greg was and I would recommend him to my own friends and family.

I've had two total knee replacements with pre-surgury physical therapy and post- surgury physical therapy at Optimal Therapy on Buffalo. The team is awesome! They listened to you with any concerns and able to answer your questions. The exercises is perfect to feel and see positive results. I started with debilitating shoulder/neck pain. My appointment I came in first just talking for a better understanding. Then created a regimen of exercises to strengthen and stretching. This pain became chronic and debilitating, now pain is manageable. I always look forward to my appointments. Just stick with their instructions you will have positive progress.

I’ve never had PT of any kind before, and (truth be told) was a little skeptical, however it has been nothing short of a miracle for me. I had gone into my primary doctor thinking that I needed a total hip replacement surgery (I’m 75 yrs old) on both hips and was told that I had bursitis and there wasn’t really anything but PT and or pain management. I opted for the “unknown” PT and I’m so thankful, for Greg’s team, that I did. I’m not pain free but, I’m playing golf, swimming and once again looking on the bright side of the mountain. Thanks.
