I love Dr. Brathwrite, it seems everyone has different experiences. I haven’t spoken too much to her but I like the in and out no nonsense appointments. I hardly ever want to leave my house being pregnant and sr brathwrite is quick and gets to the point. She delivered my first daughter last year at the perfect timing call for c section, and I’m excited to rejoin her this year for the birth of my son.

The place is clean, a bit pretentious though. Staff is super nice, but it's fast pace so you'll feel rushed despite likely sitting in your napkin for a half hour before the nurse practitioner, also super nice, sees you.

My first vist ever was OK even though it was rushed, now this 2nd appointment was horrible. I had a follow up ER appointment and found out I a uterine polyp. I've been having terrible pain since last week, and still in pain. Dr. Brathwaite was cold not welcoming made me feel worse and very uncomfortable. Im telling her im in alot of pain and she's asking me am I sure and stated uterine polyp usually have pain. I let her know the ER told me its a fibroid. Dr. Brathwaite made me feel like I was lying about being in pain no compassion at all. Then she ordered me an Ultrasound. The nurse gives me papers to check out I was confused because I thought I was already scheduled for an ultrasound. My appointment was at 9:30 I was able to get scheduled for an ultrasound at 3 today however I get a call 1hour before my appointment stating I have to pay $117 for a ultrasound for a deductible that has to be paid before I can be seen. I let them no unfortunately I didn't have the amount could I pay half and still was told no. So now I can't get seen im in terrible pain. Worst day and experience of my life .

I urge all expecting mothers to read this review and carefully consider if you want you and your baby to be subject to medical negligence. I am 7 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing debilitating lethargy, dizziness, and weakness for the past 2.5 weeks. I expressed all of my symptoms in detail in the extensive paperwork prior to my visit, as well as with the scheduling person, and went on to explain that I am an ICU RN and determined at home that I am experiencing orthostatic hypotension (significant drop in blood pressure upon changing from laying to sitting to standing) with which I am extremely symptomatic. I further explained through the clinic’s communication system that I am unable to sit for extended periods of time and was concerned because at the beginning of the year I waited nearly an hour to be seen for a regular gyn appointment here. I AGAIN explained this upon arrival to my appointment. I was finally called back at just over an hour after my scheduled appointment (3pm, did not go back until after 4pm). I waited an additional 40 minutes in the back room to finally be seen by Dr. Brathwaite. I understand that sometimes long waits can occur, however, this is only touching the surface of the negligence I experienced. Upon arriving to the appointment I was also told that my insurance does not cover maternity care. I find it incredibly odd that I took the time to fill out dozens of pages of information, including both pictures of the front and back of my insurance card, as well as manually-inputted insurance information, just to be told that I had to pay out of pocket when I arrived for my appointment. Given that I was so desperate for care and had to reserve a ride just to get to the office (the hypotension makes it unsafe for me to drive right now) I reluctantly paid. At this time I SPECIFICALLY asked if this payment would include everything—specifically questioned the ULTRASOUND AND LABS—and was told yes by an incompetent staff member. At around 4:40pm when Dr. Brathwaite finally saw me, I was informed that I would have to come back the following day for an ultrasound because the tech “didn’t show up today”. She also immediately gave me an automated speech explaining that my symptoms were all normal and that there was nothing she could do. She did not ask me a single question, did not examine me in the slightest, and assumed that I was completely ignorant and would not question any of her statements. She did proceed to swab me for a culture, per my request as I am also experiencing signs of an infection. I could not hold back my frustration upon being told that I would not receive my ultrasound and (reasonably) went off. She stated that she did not know I had paid out of pocket and that it was all her staffs fault because they did not communicate with her. While Dr. Brathwaite is kind, it was very clear that she is overwhelmed and unable to ensure that her staff is adequately trained. The volume of patients seen at this clinic is clearly too much and I felt that I was just another body on the list to be checked off, rather than a first-time advanced maternal age patient (I will be 35 when I deliver) with significant concerns. At points while I was in the waiting room there was a line of patients from the desk all the way to the lobby of the medical building. Dr. Brathwaite agreed to do my ultrasound herself after finishing seeing her other patients. While I was grateful that she did, I did not leave the office until nearly 6pm, and this experience, along with any meaningful time at this visit, was incredibly rushed. The office was already “closed” when the ultrasound was done and I was unable to receive my labwork because the phlebotomist had already “left a looong time ago”. I am supposed to come in again on my own time, which requires me to arrange a ride and muster up the strength, to have my labwork done

Leah is amazing 🤩 you can tell she really cares about you because not only does she remember you personally, she’s attentive, informative, caring, nice, friendly, exceptional bed side manner and an all around great person. As an African American woman it’s hard to find equal proper care within the healthcare system but with Leah I feel seen, comfortable and heard. I’ve been so impressed with her service that both my daughters are now patients of hers as well. One battling sickle cell & the other pregnant with my first grandbaby. That’s how much I trust and just love her 🤍 10 out of 10! I absolutely recommend.

I normally do not leave reviews, but after over a month of dealing with this office, I feel obligated to share my experience so other patients can make informed decisions.
My initial appointment resulted in me being referred to a hematologist that did not accept my insurance. What should have been a simple correction turned into weeks of unnecessary stress.
Week 1: I contacted the office to have the referral corrected and was told it had been updated and sent. After calling the hematologist multiple times, I learned they never received anything.
Week 2: I made multiple trips across town to this office attempting to get a physical copy of the referral myself because I could no longer trust that it was being handled. I waited over 45 minutes during one visit only to be told there was a printer issue and asked to come back later. After returning again and waiting even longer, I was informed that the referral likely had not been sent because the doctor was “behind”—despite previously being told it was already handled.
After finally getting the referral corrected, I assumed the issue was resolved.
It wasn’t.
Over a month later, I am still waiting for this office to submit the prior authorization required for my iron infusion treatment. Despite the amount of time that has passed—and the fact that this directly impacts my health and quality of life—there continues to be little urgency, poor communication, and no accountability.
The pattern I experienced was clear: once you leave the office, it feels very “out of sight, out of mind.” The doctor appears overbooked, and unfortunately that seems to trickle down into an overwhelmed staff that struggles with follow-through and communication.
Delays in medical care are not minor inconveniences when patients are actively waiting for treatment.
For future patients: advocate for yourself. If you are experiencing repeated delays, call your insurance company and file a grievance regarding your care experience and administrative delays. Insurance providers often document these complaints and will initiate a formal review process, that the dr MUST respond to in a timely manner explaining the WHY behind their poor patient care. Hit lackluster physicians where it hurts, in the pockets.
I also want to highlight that not all experiences with women’s healthcare providers in Las Vegas are like this. I highly recommend Dr. Candance Leaphart St Cloud and her team at All Care for Women. Their office demonstrates what patient-centered care, professionalism, and responsive staff support should look like.
Women deserve better continuity of care than what I experienced here.

I was really nervous going into this appointment—seeing a new gynecologist is always a bit stressful for me, and I know I’m not alone in that. There are so many unknowns: finding the office, wondering about wait times, meeting new staff, and yes… even stepping on the scale. Maybe I overthink things a little, but it can feel overwhelming!
That said, this experience completely put me at ease from the start. The office was incredibly easy to find—no stressful detours or U-turns needed. When I walked into the beautiful facility, I was immediately welcomed by Adriana and Cheyenne, whose friendly demeanor helped calm my nerves right away.
Sierra took me back with a gentle manner, never making me felling uncomfortable with my "scale" anxieties.
I’ve seen many providers over the years, and I can honestly say that NP Leah was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. She was kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. She took her time, listened carefully, and explained everything in a way that made me feel informed and comfortable. Her knowledge and compassion really stood out.
I left the appointment feeling empowered and confident, which isn’t something I’ve always felt after medical visits. Overall, this was an excellent experience from beginning to end, and I’m truly grateful for the care I received.

Navigating through breast cancer, perimenopause, and an upcoming hysterectomy, NP Leah Tapia has been the best at explaining everything so thoroughly and in a way that is easy to understand. They didn’t just push me away with my pcos, they explained they broke it down and helped me in every way possible. I saw the surgeon on December first who told me someone would be calling me to schedule surgery. I am currently trying to conceive so every single month that passes is detrimental to that as I am a bit older. I have called, left messages and even texted and not in a annoying way I literally just want an update… anything! Even a oh we’re working on it or really any type of update. I keep getting told someone will call me but it’s been months and no reply. I am so upset over this. As you know it’s not so easy to be seen here in Vegas. I waited months for my initial appointment. I hope someone contacts me soon. *posted some of the messages please look at the dates….

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This office has some of the worst customer service I have experienced in healthcare. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, and the one time I saw the doctor she had no bedside manner whatsoever. As a pregnant patient, you would expect compassion, patience, and clear communication, none of which I experienced here. This office provides none of the support, compassion, or patient-centered care you would hope for. I left feeling unheard and disappointed and the entire visit felt rushed and transactional. I will never return and would strongly caution anyone, especially first-time mothers, against choosing this office.

Listen👂🏾I’ve never in the history of my care by a gynecologist or any woman’s care facility; been treated with such engagement. I went for a second opinion and I received all the knowledge required to understand my diagnosis not previously given for a full understanding. I saw Leah Tapia-Nicholas at Innovative Women’s care. Upon arrival I was advised that I was out of network and would have to pay $250 for the visit. I did think twice but needed answers so I paid, although unexpected, I was told they tried to call but I received a text to confirm appointment.
I was given a card for Innovative Woman’s Care while attending a Breast Care Event.
I felt safe with Leah although I thought I was seeing the person on the business card. It happened as it should’ve. Leah is awesome I so recommend you consider your care there.
PS: I must also comment the young lady that did my blood draw. I’ll call her Sun, Moon and Stars she was professional and simply awesome I’m a hard one but not for her she got it right the first time. Thank you

I mean real quick she was done in less than a minute it felt like and I was out of the stirrups. Leah is truly amazing, I already told my Sister about her and she is gonna try to book. I won't go to anyone else for my womanly concerns. Leah educated me about some other procedures I was hesitant to do, but after her explanation I am ready to book. I really want to like this practice because I specifically sought them out as a black owned practice. However, there is no bedside manner whatsoever with the doctor or assistants. The receptionist is the only genuine person there that converses with me. When I have to go in the back for an exam or procedure I get “oh hi” from the doctor/practitioner. Then as I’m getting said procedure done, there’s no checking in with me asking if I’m ok, or just a bit longer. It’s them talking to each other like I’m not there. It’s very off putting and disheartening as a woman of color who knows how it feels to be treated differently. I have a few more appointments with them that I absolutely need, but I will leave after.

I’ve been a patient at this office for about 2 years . Ever since they’ve moved locations the atmosphere has changed. When speaking with the receptionist Christine over the phone she was very snarky and not polite. Today February 9 I came in for an ultrasound and the technician didn’t even have the courtesy to introduce herself. I can only assume her last name is Parrish because it was on the screen while performing my ultrasound. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable and a bit embarrassed. My sole purpose for the ultrasound is to see if I can bare children. What women wouldn’t want the person examining her precious jewels to have a little compassion and be treated with respect. When checking out the young girl at the counter had on a pair of grey beats headphones and looked at me as if she saw a ghost. I thought that was unprofessional . (Why are you at work with visible headphones) Overall when working in the medical field personal feelings should be put aside and ethics, morals, and integrity should be the forefront of the patient’s needs and interests.

My visit with Dr. Leah was genuinely such a fun and comforting experience. She was welcoming, insightful, and made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in. You can tell she takes her time with each patient, and it makes the whole appointment feel thoughtful instead of rushed.
And the office… I’m obsessed. Everything is pink, white, and marble — it feels like it was made for the girls. Even the patients show up in their cutest all‑pink outfits, which sets such a cute, uplifting culture. It’s the kind of place you actually look forward to visiting.

I came to Dr. B at my wits end dealing with postpartum hormonal dysfunction that hadn’t gotten even the slightest bit better (3 years and counting).
From the minute I walked in the lobby I could feel the positive vibe and energy resonating through the office. I immediately lost all sense of nervousness and knew I was in the right place.
She took the time to listen to my experiences and made me felt heard. Treatment options were thoroughly explained and never forced.
At my first follow up I had mentioned some in depth genetic profiling I had obtained and Dr. B was engaging, eager to learn alongside me and not resistant to my outside research.
I am so grateful for the level of care I have received in just 2 visits with Dr. B and look forward to continuing to improve my health with her.

I have been to this practice 4 times. I like the nurse practitioner. She is knowledgeable and provides good recommendations and is helpful. The staff do not talk to you about costs that insurance does not cover and do no cursory checks with the insurance plans for allowed/not allowed charges. I had to pay over $900 for tests that my insurance explicitly does not cover. At other doctors' offices, including my dentist, any service that is not covered 100% by my insurance is explained to me. Especially if you have THT, I would look elsewhere.

I'm a new patient to this office. I started seeing Dr. Roderick in December of 2023. I was very impressed on my 1st visit. The appt started on time, the office has great energy and I was done with my appointment within 30 mins. WoooooHooooo!!!
But It wasn't until towards the end of January I was treated for a UTI jan 31 I started the antibiotics, on February 7th 2024 I had finished my last dose. On Feb 11 (super bowl Sunday) I was In the urgent care my diagnosis were a UTI ha! I wasn't sure why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I started to run a fever, lost my appetite, extremely fatigued, tired. So the Dr. Prescribed another antibiotic.
On feb 12th I contacted Dr. Roderick to inform them of my health but no one in this office was reachable due to having system issues, so I contacted this office AGAIN on February 12th 2024 I spoke with someone my message was taken and my call was never returned!! I called again on Feb 13th left another message (by this time my health is really decreasing)
By Feb 16th when I finally had gotten the strength to go to the Emergency room I WAS ADMITTED!!! I was admitted for 4 days
I have 2 kidney stones and I went uroseptic, not only this a fungus was found I was advised that if the fungus had got to my blood things could have turned fatal.
Here I am writing this review on March 9th 2024
I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALLBACK from anyone in this office but I have received calls to pay a balance owed (the call regularly, I told them no balance will be paid until I get my call returned) they will harass your will phone they call to remind you about your appt the day of the appt. I had an appointment scheduled for March 7th and they started to remind my March 6 all the way up until the start ic my appt which was at 10am
I will be withdrawing my care from this office due to lack of care under treatment.
I currentlt have a nephrostomy tube in my kidneys and I'm awaiting surgery to remove the stones.
I pray that someone from this office reads this review because under their care I honestly feel like 2 kidney stones the size of 5 mm and 7mm and the infection could have killed me and I don't feel like anyone at this office cares.
So please before you start care or and treatment with them make sure they fit your needs. The communication in the office is poor. I had a few labs ran here and the time it takes to get someone to follow up is sad. You'll get your results in your chart within days and someone will either follow up in days or simply won't follow up.
I was excited to work with them simply because they we're African American just as I am.
But they quickly reminded me why I hate doing business with my own kind of people.
I'm currently seeking new obgyn.
Update: I have not returned to this clinic since my last update. I found an another Black OBGYN Dr. Promise Ojuku at Intermountain health on S. Rainbow. Innovation women's care miss diagnosed me thankful Dr, Ojuku was able to get everything properly diagnosed and treated. I'm forever grateful that u did not allow this clinic to care for me. If anyone is seeking a good provider, i strongly encourage you to look up Dr. Promiss Ojuku. He is a male Dr. that knows a women's body before even touching her.

I always come early to my appointments(10mins) if my appointment is at 11am I shouldn’t be still sitting in the front waiting room at 11:53 , you want me on time and I want the same. Please learn to respect people’s time. This is how you lose business. It has happened multiple times! Once they had an emergency so I understand but the rest? I will be looking for another place. Care is in your name, so care about your patients time as well. Thanks.

I had a truly wonderful experience at my recent OBGYN appointment. The nurse practitioner (Leah Tapia Nicholes) was right on time, and I barely had any wait at all. What really stood out was how she remembered details from my very first visit with her back in March — it made the appointment feel personal and cared for. She took her time listening to my concerns and the reasons I wanted to have my hormone levels tested, and she never made me feel rushed. Her patience, professionalism, and warm personality made the entire visit easy and pleasant. I left feeling heard, supported, and well taken care of. Highly recommend! She has the best spirit ever!!!

I don’t normally write reviews but I’m doing this in hopes to guide any young woman considering coming here for their pregnancy or general wellness checks in the right direction. I moved to Nevada at the start of my last trimester of pregnancy and decided to come to this practice, as it was recommended by my cousin who came here for the entirety of her pregnancy. Leah Tapia-Nicholes was truly one of the only positives about my experience at this office. She was attentive, compassionate, and overall helpful at every check up. If she moved to a different practice I would continue to see her. The rest of the staff was also kind. Dr. Marguerite Brathwaite, however, was very cold. I was not given an appointment with her until the last month of my pregnancy and was disappointed once I finally met her. As stated before she came as a recommendation to me so my expectations were high. I’m not sure why I had such a different experience from my family member, but these differing experiences seem common based off of the other Google reviews I have now read. I am comforted to know other women share my sentiments, and it is not only me that she seemed to not care for whatsoever. My first time meeting her she didn’t even take the time to introduce herself. All of the appointments with her felt extremely fast and not once did she ask me if I had any questions she could answer for me. When I was gave birth I delivered my baby at 1:30 in the morning and it felt like it was bothersome for her to be there. She arrived once it was time for the final pushes and she barely said a word when she entered the room. My epidural wore off at this time, so I felt all of the pain. This is where I truly saw her complete lack of bedside manner. She was not comforting in the slightest and even a little bit mean during a very stressful delivery that left me with a second degree tear in two places. The only good I can say is she did a great job at stitching me back up. She also managed to tell me congratulations before leaving the room. That was the last time I ever saw or heard from her. Leah actually came to check on me during my stay at the hospital. All of my postpartum appointments were with Leah, and after the traumatic delivery experience I had I was actually grateful that was the case. This was my first pregnancy and unfortunately it has left me feeling as though it will be my only one.

Extremely caring and knowledgeable; and as busy as she is…Dr B. always listens and pays attention to everything. I saw Leah Nichole’s for the first time back in August. She gave me orders for tests to get checked for STD’s only for me to go and get turned way because Quest stated that the tests requested were only done at the doctor’s office. I called to inform them only for the front desk to act as if they did not know what I was talking about.
I then began to receive text messages only for them to tell me that the only tests that were ordered for me was a mammogram order that was not discussed during my visit. I was then told my message has been forwarded to the MA as I had already addressed my concerns via phone call. I was told someone will get back to me but never did.
Today I called because I have been spotting throughout my menstrual cycle, as discussed with Leah and they basically told me they don’t care in so many words, go to the ER to get a bigger bill or wait til December when I should’ve been accommodated for them wasting my time in regards to more testing!

I’m almost 60 years old and I’ve been seeing Dr. Brathwaite for just over a year. I see her for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). She is the second Gynecologist I have seen for HRT. I am very satisfied with her. Part of my HRT involves a pellet to be inserted in my back side. In my opinion, she has mastered the insertion of the pellet. The pain is minimal both during and after. All the menopausal symptoms I was having are gone. Dr. Brathwaite is very personable and knowledgeable. I also felt very comfortable sharing and talking with her about personal and intimate details of what I was experiencing and the improvements I’ve made. I was amazed at the blood work she ordered. When my Primary Care Practitioner (PCP) seen me for my annual physical, she commented on how thorough the blood work was and that she only needed to order one more item. I would highly recommend Dr. Brathwaite. My husband and I are very grateful for her.

First off, let me say that I have been to this office a few times the first few times was with Dr. Leah Tapia-Nicholes and she was amazing every time. She always made me feel safe, knowledgeable, and cared for.
However today came to this office to undergo my first colposcopy and biopsy — an experience that was already filled with anxiety and fear as a young woman. Unfortunately, the way I was treated here only made things worse. It was declined for my fiancé to come into the room with me, which made me uneasy off the bat. Despite their being three women in the room at the time throughout the entire process, no one took the time to explain what the procedures entailed or what I should expect. I wasn’t told what was happening at any point during the appointment — not before, not during, and not after. Not even when the speculum was being inserted.
I feel that Dr. Brathwaite did not review my chart before seeing me because after the procedure she began explaining care for a diagnosis that I did not have. When I received the original abnormal pap smear results I was told it was not caused by any STD, ruling out HPV, but at this appointment it was made clear they did not actually test for it so they weren’t sure if I did/do have HPV. This is unprofessional and bad practice.
There was a complete lack of communication, compassion, and bedside manner. For a gynecology office — a space where patients often feel exposed and anxious — this kind of detachment is was unreal, especially woman to woman.
This experience made me feel small, dismissed, and scared. If you're a young woman or someone going through these procedures for the first time, I would strongly urge you to consider a provider who prioritizes patient education, empathy, and clear communication.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Brathwaite and would highly recommend the practice to anyone seeking gynecological/obstetric care.
From the moment I called to schedule my appointment, the staff was professional, accommodating, and respectful of my privacy. The office environment was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which helps put me at ease.
Dr. Brathwaite demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise throughout my visit. She took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing, explained procedures clearly before performing them, and answered all my questions with patience and thoroughness. I particularly appreciated their compassionate bedside manner - they were sensitive to the fact that gynecological visits can feel vulnerable and made sure I felt comfortable and respected throughout the entire appointment.
The doctor's medical knowledge was evident as they provided clear explanations about my health, discussed treatment options when applicable, and gave practical advice for maintaining my reproductive health. She was also respectful of my personal choices and never made me feel judged.
The scheduling process was smooth, wait times were minimal, and follow-up communication was prompt and professional. The entire team clearly prioritizes patient care and comfort.
I left feeling confident in the care I received and would not hesitate to return for future appointments. Dr. Brathwaite has earned my trust as a healthcare provider, and I'm grateful to have found such a skilled and caring gynecologist.

This is long overdue! I had a high risk pregnancy due to having 3 previous c section and a lot of scar tissue. I was scared to trust just any doctor until I found Dr. Brathwaite, she listened to me when I had concerns and cared, which is something I never had with previous OBGYN’s. I never felt rushed at my appointment and always knew I could get in contact with her in case of an emergency. I trusted her completely! As someone who understands people, personalities, business operations, and the journey of leadership, I want to offer a well-rounded and honest perspective on Dr. B’s practice. Like many others, I’ve read and even experienced firsthand some of the concerns reflected in a few of the one-star reviews. And truthfully — some of those concerns are valid. I don’t dismiss them.
But here’s what I do know:
Dr. B is a truly gifted, capable, and deeply committed physician. What some interpret as coldness or dismissiveness is, in reality, a sign of someone who is deeply overwhelmed. She’s incredibly hard on herself — and that pressure sometimes unintentionally projects outward. It’s not personal, and it’s not reflective of a lack of care. In fact, it’s the opposite: it’s someone carrying too much alone.
My own experience is a testament to her skill. My total hysterectomy on May 14th was medically perfect. No complications. Dr. B, you’re a gift — and I sincerely thank you for your precision, expertise, and care.
Where I see the challenge is in the operations. Many of the negative reviews reflect issues tied more to staff inconsistency and internal office mismanagement than to Dr. B herself. One staff member who absolutely stands out is McKenzie, the front desk medical assistant. She’s phenomenal — warm, sharp, professional, and a true asset to the practice. If the entire team followed her lead, the patient experience would be as exceptional as the medical care.
I truly believe that once Dr. B builds a stronger, more aligned support team — one that absorbs the operational pressures and lets her focus solely on what she’s exceptionally gifted at — she will become a standout leader in her field.
I’m giving Dr. B a 5-star rating not because the office is flawless, but because I believe in growth, potential, and recognizing excellence when it’s earned. This practice is in a transitional stage — and with the right support, Dr. B’s excellence will not just shine — it will lead.

Leah herself is an amazing provider. She’s kind and patient and helps explain everything thoroughly. I feel bad giving only 2 stars. However, every time I’ve gone I’ve waited for at least 1 hour to just get my vitals done or provide a urine sample. Then it’ll be another 30 min before they actually have me come back to see the provider. This wouldn’t bother me if she was my regular PCP and I only had to see her once a year but seeing her every 4 weeks and having to wait 1.5 hours for an appointment every time has been so frustrating. I know they’re doing construction but that’s been going on for months so you’re just trapped in this tiny waiting room they’re sharing with the peds office while feeling nauseous, tired, all the other pregnancy symptoms. If the wait weren’t so long I would give this place 5 stars.

If you value informed consent, I do not recommend this office. Dr. Brathwaite withheld key details about what would be done to my body during surgery — including actions I never would have agreed to had I been properly informed. I’ve experienced long-term issues as a result, and when I sought help afterward, my concerns were dismissed. It wasn’t until I read my own surgical report that I discovered what had actually been done. I feel completely betrayed by her lack of transparency and respect for patient autonomy.

I went in because I was having a bunch of weird symptoms for several weeks (similar to pregnancy, but pregnancy tests were negative). In the appointment, Dr. Brathwaite was texting while I was describing my concerns and doing the whole "uh-huh. Yeah." thing and not listening at all. I thought, okay, maybe she's dealing with something important and I ignored it, but afterward even my husband said he thought it was rude. I end up getting a blood panel done and then going back for my annual exam.
Results from my annual came back abnormal. That was on May 5th. I have yet to get someone on the phone to schedule a follow up about it. Something is actually wrong according to the test results, I've called and left three voicemails, and I cannot get a call back. I'm going to find a different doctor simply because I have to figure out what's wrong, and no one at Innovative Women's Care will return my call.

I was a patient of Dr. Brathwaite’s for about two years while living in Las Vegas, and even though I’ve since moved, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. Dr. Brathwaite was incredibly diligent, compassionate, and thorough in helping me get to the bottom of my secondary infertility issues.
Thanks to her care—and her recommendation to Dr. Darwin Swainston who performed a successful robotic surgery in August—I was finally able to conceive after 2.5 years of trying. I’m now expecting my second child and I credit Dr. Brathwaite as a key part of that journey.
She was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to my well-being every step of the way. I’ll always be thankful for Dr. Brathwaite’s role in helping me become a mother of two. VERY Highly recommend!

Leah was wonderful. Very caring and takes the time to listen to you. She was gentle and talked you through what she was doing. I highly recommend Leah. The wait was excessive but Leah was excellent

One Star - Deeply Disappointed and Frustrated
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes of helping others make informed decisions.
I scheduled a prenatal appointment with this clinic two months in advance, clearly communicating that I was 7 weeks pregnant and needed a prenatal checkup with Dr. Brathwaite. Unfortunately, the day of my appointment was a complete disaster. The staff seemed confused about why I was there, assuming I was there for an annual exam instead. To make matters worse, the doctor I had specifically requested was unavailable, and no one informed me ahead of time.
After waiting nearly an hour, I was offered a visit with an ultrasound technician instead. The clinic was under construction and currently sharing space with a pediatrician, which made the environment feel chaotic and disorganized. The quality of the ultrasound images was poor, and I expressed that I’d prefer not to proceed unless it was medically necessary.
Despite all of this, I decided to give the clinic another chance based on a strong recommendation from a friend who spoke highly of Dr. Brathwaite. Sadly, my follow-up visit was even more disappointing. After waiting an hour and a half, my partner and I were rushed into the ultrasound room, and again, no one seemed aware that my appointment was supposed to be with Dr. Brathwaite. Multiple nurses entered the room asking for my name, clearly confused and unprepared. At one point, a nurse began checking my weight and blood pressure at the same time while I was still standing on the scale—no proper procedure or explanation.
By the third hour, I was emotionally drained and ready to leave. The final straw came when a fifth staff member entered the room and, yet again, asked for my name. At that point, I walked out. No one asked if I was okay or attempted to check in with me—they simply watched me leave.
This experience was not only unprofessional but also deeply disheartening for a patient seeking care during such an important and sensitive time. I left feeling completely disregarded, stressed, and upset. I sincerely hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and makes urgent improvements to communication, organization, and patient care.

I have been seeing Dr Brathwaite for over 10 years. I have had to have multiple surgeries and procedures due to a fertility disorder and she has been more helpful on explaining my disorder, getting my surgery scheduled immediately and providing aftercare after my surgeries.
often times I will be in pain and not have an appointment and I’m always able to reach out to her and get the support that I need at the time, even if she does not have an appointment available, I get an instant response from her or a member on her team.
It is hard to have a fertility be able to have somebody understand what going through. Many other providers can care less if you have a disorder that only shows on the inside and not on the outside.

If I can give rhe doctor 10 stars, I would. She was easy to talk to, I could relate to her. She was attentive to my issues. I love how she listened to all my concerns And she was able to find a solution, I wanted bioidentical hormones, and she certainly gave me a customized option for me. i'm super happy.
She was able to fit me into her schedule for the procedure. And i'm so happy, cuz, i've been dealing with menopause for the past three years in misery, and another Dr in had told me that that's just something I had to go through and didn't offer any options.

Thanks Dr Marguerite for all your care. Literally the best OB practice i've been to in all my adult years and that's on the truth! Even while in a temporary space, the level of care is still high quality and yes even if you have to wait some time, that's showing you she and her team are taking time to cater to each patient's needs. You wouldn't want your appointment to be rushed when it's your turn so please be gracious to the staff doing their bid to give us quality care & service. From the lady at the from desk to Dr Marg herself, thank you for always giving your all for us.

I am only giving this place 1 star because of of the news I received this morning about Dr.Mike not being with them anymore when confirming my appointment on top of an experience with Dr. Brathwaite. I only came to this place because ANGELA MIKE!!! I have followed her from southwest medical to this place! When Dr.Mike was on vacation, I had an appt with Brathwaite, my first time meeting her and this person had the nerve to say “it seems like you have an attitude did I do something to you”? First and foremost how about asking if I am ok since I was 8 months pregnant and no I didn’t have an attitude I just wasn’t aware I was seeing another Dr!! The whole visit was unpleasant and uncomfortable and the fact she asked me that question makes me feel like she always has a problem with patients who are not hers but after reading the reviews I felt I needed to add my experience with her and to let her and her office know that if it wasn’t for Dr.Mike I would have NEVER stepped foot in that place especially with someone who greets patients how she did me!! I will be taking my insurance and concerns elsewhere because of Dr Brathwaite!

I waited over 2 hours for a 5 min appt. I went for annual pap and they asked about any symptoms so I mentioned some related to probably peri-menopause, I didn't have a current urgent problem, but they said to do a problem visit instead and schedule for pap next visit. I agreed, which is my fault. So I'll have to pay for that since annual is covered only. I'm not going back to take up 3 hours of my day for a quick appointment. Its so inconsiderate of people's time. I cant speak about the Dr I saw her for 5 minutes. But the wait time seems to be the same reading other reviews.

be prepared to wait 2 hours just to be seen. I arrived at 8:50 for my 9 AM appointment as a new patient to establish gynecological care. After an hour and a half of just sitting in the waiting room I chose to leave because I saw other patients who had been there even longer than I had who still had not been called back for their appointments. The clinic is currently going construction and sharing an office space with another office so the waiting room was very crowded with minimal seating. While I understand that they may be dealing with this shared space if you’re not able to be considerate of other people‘s time then you are not an office that I would care to receive treatment from. I would like to make it clear that the girl working the admin desk was super nice and apologetic when I did let her know that I would be leaving and seeking care elsewhere. Be nice to the admin it’s not their fault.

Please stay away of this place, the worse experience I ever had. I’m still struggling with the consequences of a bad treatment from this place. The Dr. Brathwait prescribed me a hormonal medication, now I know it caused me a lot of issues I’m still struggling with, she gave me the opposite of what I needed just causing even more problems on my body, and every single doctor I had seen told me that she made an awful mistake giving me that. I have spent thousands of dollars plus being mentally drained trying to fix what she caused me. She was very rude to me and my husband because I told her I wasn’t feeling better with her prescription, got mad and started blaming me for the side effects, when clearly the medication wasn’t the correct one. Never going back and telling every woman I know to stay away from this place.

I have been seeing Dr. Brathwaite for over a year now for annuals and HRT. I could not be happier with the care that I have received. I am a 48 yr old Asian woman and I feel the most comfortable with Dr. Brathwaite being a fellow woman of color. I would recommend Dr. Brathwaite to every woman!
