I really like Dr. Blake Savage. He's a fantastic doctor: very knowledgeable, friendly, personable. He efficiently found the pain area of the bone spur I have, moved around it to make sure he had it just right. Numbed the area & injected the cortisone. He told me I was doing good to only need an injection about once a year.
I like that he explains the problem, gives suggestions for treatment but makes sure you make the decision and will be happy with the treatment.

Bad customer service. Was unable to provide me a pricing for a lab test. Asked for a rough estimate or help finding the price. Was told to go out in the waiting area and call the lab center. I go out, call, find pricing, tell the staff I want to proceed with the testing. Then im told sorry my appointment is finished and I have to reschedule for another day. My appointment was 11:45, its now. 12:22. Apparently my copay only gets me 37minutes.

I cannot say enough good things about Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Institute. I was able to get a same-day appointment, they take basically every insurance, and they texted me a link to the intake forms ahead of time. The forms took maybe a couple of minutes and were easy to fill out, which already put them miles ahead of most offices.

I called at 9am for an appointment, scheduled and was seen at 11:30, numbed and procedure complete by 11:45. No chaos, no waiting forever, no unnecessary steps. I was genuinely in and out in under 20 minutes total, and that includes the waiting room, numbing, nail removal, and the acid treatment. You could do it over a regular lunch break.

I’ve had ingrown toenails treated multiple times over the years, so I’m not new to this, and this was hands down the least painful experience I’ve ever had. The way they numb the toe is dramatically better than anywhere else I’ve been. I barely felt it compared to prior procedures. The technique clearly matters, and they absolutely know what they’re doing.

The doctor was incredibly competent, explained everything clearly, and solved it forever. He treated just a couple of millimeters on the side of the nail with acid so this won’t grow back the same way again, and the nail should grow in beautifully. Every other time I’ve had this done, the acid step wasn’t applied enough, which explains why the problem kept coming back. This doctor really made sure to get into the crevice and apply and reapply the acid. This felt like a permanent fix, not a temporary patch.

I came here because my physician friends also personally go here for their own foot/ankle care.. That alone says a lot. The physician completed a full residency plus a fellowship, and it shows in both skill and efficiency. You can tell you’re in extremely capable hands.

If you need a podiatrist, especially if you’re dealing with something, just go here. The prodedure was less painful than putting on my shoes everyday that I was dealing with this. No need to suffer, just make the appointment and they will take care of you. Truly 10/10. I would not go anywhere else.

This office is clean, friendly, professional, and seems very well equipped. This was only my first visit, but it was everything you hope for—and rarely find—in a medical facility. I encountered zero unpleasant or unwanted obstacles.

Going to the doctor can be stressful, even traumatic, and it really matters not to feel dread before an appointment. It’s exhausting when you simply need care but have to hunt for a place that feels safe and respectful.

I was also having some tech issues (I guess I’m at that age), and the front desk staff didn’t punish me or get annoyed. The young person helping me was completely accommodating—she kindly and patiently walked me through my paperwork issue without being condescending or making me feel like a fly in the pudding.

I’m genuinely relieved that I’m not dreading my next appointment. 😄

Went in to see 1 Dr and told the check in nurse that surgery had been recommended, so she said the Dr you want to see isn’t a surgeon and if surgery is necessary then you’ll have to come back and see the surgeon, if you don’t mind waiting a bit the surgeon will see you.
