Dr. Bascharon and her staff are one of the best I’ve ever been to here in Las Vegas. They take care of their patients and treat you like family. She helped me get a good VA disability rating because of my bilateral knee arthritis. She was so helpful and understanding and patient And she is one of the best orthopedic surgeons here in Las Vegas. When I first started seeing Dr. Bascharon she and her staff were breath of fresh air. However, that drastically changed when I asked for a copy of my medical records. I had left several messages requesting them but was not getting any response. So, I called and spoke with the front desk who informed me that my request was being held up because of a billing issue. Apparently I had an outstanding balance of $50 that I was not aware of because I had moved and was not receiving the statements (and I thought I had paid them fully). The front desk told me that once the billing issue was resolved they would process my request for my medical records. This is a complete violation of HIPPA to withhold records because of payment and when I told the front desk this, she got very upset and starting backtracking telling me that she never said that. I had no problems with paying the $50 and immediately paid but this practice refused to provide me with my records over a $50 payment...which is illegal. Then when I received the records, each visit note was just a copy and paste from my first visit. Very unfortunate because I was planning on returning to Dr. Bascharon for treatment even after this encounter with her staff. However, when I called to make an appointment with her, I was informed that because I requested my medical records they refused to schedule me any further appointments. So this practice violated my HIPPA rights then denied me further treatment/appointments because I requested my medical records and informed them that they couldn't withhold my records. I also thoroughly explained that I was more than willing to pay my bill and apologized for not knowing I had an outstanding bill of $50, that it wasn't done on purpose. Very rude, unprofessional, and unethical staff.

I really really love these guys. They are wonderful the doctors and everybody, but their telephone team is not the best. They do not get back to you when wanting to know information, they take your number down and never call you back. They never tell you what's going on or give you updates on your situation. I wish they could fix this problem outside of that. These guys are great.

Best Orthopedic Doctor I have seen ever and the most gentle, caring, kind and professional. She did my shoulder shots and gel knee injections and the first time ever that Any Doctor took the time to numb the injection site first. I have been searching for an orthopedic surgeon to repair my shoulder for a long time. I am so glad I finally found Dr. .
In spite of being 73 years old, my surgery was a great success.
Dr. Bascharon is a great doctor, and I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor.
The office is organized and efficient. All of the medical assistance, and the front desk people are very helpful.

I have been going to Orthopedic & Sports Medicine since February 2024, seeing Dr. Bascharon, and it has been wonderful. Dr. Bascharon and her team have been the most compassionate orthopedic doctors I have had in the past 18 years. I had surgery for a rotator cuff tear on July 18, and everyone has been just great at all the follow-up appointments.
I extremely recommend everyone looking for orthopedic treatment, definitely give Orthopedic & Sports Medicine a call.

Years now it has been since my first knee surgery. Ever since I’ve had issues. Issues that doctors have refused to listen to me about. Done the same thing over and over to try and treat the same issue. Dr. Bascharon has been the only person who has finally listened. No bull told me about anything. Not only is she someone willing to listen and treat finally but her staff has been just as helpful. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. Even help explaining things in small and visual details to my Mother to help her understand what was going on with my knee and why.
It is also really nice about her office is there is really no wait time. She goes out of her way to keep her staff moving on time. Which is amazing. Appointments booking them don’t tend to be hard to get or change if needed.

The one thing my Mother and I have both commented to Dr. Bascharon also is the way she personally treats her staff. Every Wednesday she makes sure to have food come in for her staff. While she keeps them busy she makes sure they don’t run down either. Not many doctors will do things as such for staff. I’ve personally worked with a decent amount of doctors myself and had the good and the bad. But she is a whole different category.

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Dr. Bascharon and her entire staff. Three days ago I had surgery to repair my broken collarbone and to me it went seamlessly. She has excellent bedside manor and I can’t praise her enough. I was in pain for 8 months because the two so called surgeons I saw before her where just awful. Finally now after being treated by her I’m finally on the road to recovery. I’m happy that she treated me like a person and took my pain and injuries seriously.

I recovered from the surgery very well! Got full strength and rang of motion. The Surgery was a ruptured Supraspinatus. Basically a Rotator cuff overhaul. Excellent work. Now it's my good shoulder lol...

Dr. Bascharon is an open-hearted hero in the nightmare that is Medicaid in one of the richest cities in the world. I could not get her help in a timely manner because she is one of the only orthopedic surgeons willing to take Medicaid and totally overwhelmed with the tsunami of broke Medicaid bones coming from hospital emergency rooms all over LV. The good doctor, her resident doctor and staff got me right in as a new patient, who was 10 min late. did a thorough DX of 3 issues, gave me the meds, referrals and everything and scheduled me to return, which I am happ to do.

As an anxious pt, she was so understanding , esp my needle phobia and hopefully all seems to be on the right track with nothing but some meds ant PT.

Her office is super duper well run as i had no time to do the intake paperwork before i was already being examined. As the former husband of a doctor, a DO, like Dr. Basharon, the tell tale sign of how good and caring a doctor is is how they choose to run their office and any doctor who routinely makes you wait in excess of 15 minutes is a doctor you want to drop.

I recommend Dr. Basharon and wish I had known about her when I originally crashed my plane in 94...... but,alas, I found great care now for these new issues....

I can not believe how great of a surgeon that Dr. Barchand ( I hope I spelled that rite?) Is . I had to get this review up. I had knee surgery yesterday and I was walking around yesterday my knee feels better than it did before surgery I would recomend her for any surgery that your having and dont be nervous. Dr Bascharon SAVED My Guitar Career! About 2 years ago I was hit by a truck at a stop light.

Some History:
I am a world Class Guitarist and Sports Photographer living in Las Vegas. My musical career has taken me all over the world from Spain, Canada, London, Vietnamm, India, Africa etc…I have performed private events for or honoring Steve Forbes, John Travolta, Andre Agassi. As a photographer I shoot a lot of MMA and have interviewed a number of the biggest UFC fighters including Randy Couture and Wanderlei Silva. About 2 years ago, I was hit by a truck at a stop light. I jammed my right arm into the dash board and could not play my guitar for almost 5 months. My attorney sent to a doctor, which after 4 months, i was having NO progress. I then asked my attorney if we could use Dr Bascharon, who I saw as the fight doctor ringside for many MMA fights.

On my first appointment her staff was very helpful and attentive. Dr Bascharon took her time with me. She answerd all my questions and addressed my concerns. My greatest fear was that I was not going to be able to play my guitar at the level I once did. She truly understood my fear and pain. Within 1 months I was playing my guitar again. Then as healing continued, I started taking on more gigs. It just recently dawned on me, that my greatest fear of never playing my guitar at a high level was just fear. I am now actively playing my music all over Las Vegas and shooting my photos. I’ve got concerts lined up on the east coast in September.

I can’t say enough about her Dr. Bascharon’s staff, Edee, Christy and Irene. AWESOME! As for Dr. Bascharon, she is by far the BEST doctor I have ever scene in life my! She cares. She’s genuine and she is a MASTER at what she does. She saved my musical career! THANK YOU!!! You are the BEST!
