Had my first exam with Dr. Truong and was very impressed. What stood out was her attention to detail including the way she explained the retina scan by going thru every step of my eye health. In addition Dr Truong was great at providing many excellent tips for preventative eye care which I had never had before with my previous provider. Staff is also friendly and helpful. Good visit.

I am giving this visit one out of five stars because my overall experience was very disappointing. From the beginning, I felt rushed.

I arrived 10–15 minutes before my appointment. I understand that the young man at the front desk was busy, and I appreciated that he apologized and let me know he would help me in a few minutes. However, since I hadn’t completed my paperwork ahead of time, I expected to receive it when I arrived so I could fill it out before my appointment. The other staff member never gave me the paperwork, and by the time it was being printed for me, there were only a few minutes left before my appointment, so I never had the opportunity to complete it.

The preliminary exam with the technician also felt very rushed. I had the impression that she was in a hurry to finish with me rather than taking the time to provide proper care. I arrived on time, so I don’t feel this was my responsibility.

After that, I felt rushed again during my exam with the ophthalmologist. I was trying contact lenses for the first time in over 11 months, and I had difficulty removing the trial lens. Instead of feeling supported and given a moment to adjust, I felt that the doctor became impatient with me.

Patients deserve to feel that they have their provider’s full attention, especially during an eye exam. If the office doesn’t have enough time to properly care for each patient, they shouldn’t schedule more appointments than they can reasonably handle. No patient should leave feeling rushed or like they were a burden for needing a few extra minutes.

During my recent eye appointment, I felt somewhat rushed and as though I was being processed through an assembly line. The equipment used for the first two eye tests, to my knowledge, had not been disinfected between patients. In previous appointments, I recall the staff wiping down the equipment in front of me, which reassured me of their attention to hygiene. Although I was in and out within 45 minutes, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was viewed more as a financial transaction than as a patient with concerns. I had a few questions I wanted to ask, but I felt hesitant, as it was quite apparent that the staff were either running behind schedule or overbooked.

Rude front office staff. They wouldn't schedule an appt because insurance benefits didn't renew for another week. Tried again. Arrived for my appt, stood in line & checked in. After sitting for 5-10 min was then told I checked in 1 min late, only if others didn't show would they be able to see me. I do not recommend

Worst experience I’ve had at an optometrist office. Seemed like all the employees hated being there, everyone was rude, the optometrist rushed us and we are still waiting 3 weeks later to finalize our contact prescriptions because they didn’t have the samples in stock, we have called several times just to wait on hold for 10-15 minutes to no avail. I would not recommend this place.

The optometrist was really nice and did a great job. The staff were ok, Sergio is very nice but this location is doing something wrong. I have been getting eye exams with my vision insurance and then buying frames online for about 10 years now; these places charge wayyyy to much for frames. Regardless of where you buy the frames, you as the customer should be given your FULL prescription. Not at this location. My last exam was a the BLVD mall location and they gave me my PD (Pupil Diameter) without having to ask for it! This Galleria location WILL NOT give it to you unless you buy frames from them. That’s wrong and shady. I’m gonna report them to my insurance because I don’t believe they are allowed to do that. Don’t go here unless you plan on purchasing $200 frames ( just frames) .

Honestly, liked going there

Was my first time, staff were nice, and as much as it seems like I'm just glazing, the lady that helped me pick out my glasses was great. She gave me tips on the glasses and how they'd affect my look when I had a hard time choosing between two pairs. It's worth going to for glasses options, more variety compared to Vegas Vision, so yeah, I'll keep coming here for glasses and eye exams.

I am pleased with my visit except one detail. As I left LensCrafters, I reviewed my prescription they gave me. It does not include my PD which is crucial in ordering a pair of eyeglasses anywhere you purchase. I asked the ladies at LensCrafters if they could provide it. No. Only IF I buy from them! I went to your receptionist and asked her for it, NO. They aren’t willing to provide a customer with her PD either!!! I want options not to be forced into purchasing from LensCrafters or any establishment! It’s a very simple thing to do. I will not be back because of this.

Terrible experience. I had an appointment and was driving 40 minutes to get there. I was running about 7-10 minutes late, so out of courtesy I called them to let them know. The guy who answered said that because I was running late – even just 10 minutes – he was cancelling my appointment and immediately asked when I wanted to reschedule.

When I told him I was already on the road driving 40 minutes to get there, he showed zero compassion and just didn’t care at all. As a provider myself, I know life happens – patients run late sometimes, even by an hour, and I still take the time to see them. But here, they didn’t care one bit and just cancelled without trying to work with me.

It’s not like there’s a line out the door to be seen here – it’s always empty whenever I pass by. This place has terrible customer service and no empathy whatsoever. I wouldn’t go here.
