It was my first visit and was a bit nervous but right when I walked in , I was greeted by a warm welcome. Ingrid was very friendly and checked me in quickly. Did not wait long to be called back which I really appreciated because dinner places will have you waiting forever but not here! Dr.Pham was very knowledgeable and nice and took his time to explain to me my X-rays and what were the next steps. I highly recommend this dental office! Dr. E is an amazing dentist who truly listens to your dental needs. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to make sure you feel heard and comfortable.

I have never had an experience this bad with a dental practice. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I went to Paradise Industry for a root canal and crown. Before properly examining the tooth, the doctor told me that I might need an extraction. I was then presented with treatment costs that were approximately $3,000 more than I expected. I felt like I was being pressured to pay for treatment that had not been properly explained or justified to me.

On top of that, I was expected to pay for these services while also being told I needed to take time off work for appointments. When I tried to schedule an appointment that worked with my schedule, I was told there were no other morning appointments available, leaving me in a position where I would have to take off work just to come in. That was extremely frustrating, especially given how expensive the proposed treatment was.

The practitioners brought in for some of the services were also rude and unprofessional in my experience. I did not feel respected or treated with the level of care I expected from a dental office.

Most importantly, I personally felt that I was treated differently because I am Black. That experience was deeply upsetting and made me uncomfortable continuing treatment there.

Between the pricing, the lack of reasonable appointment availability, the way the treatment was presented to me, and the way I was treated, this was the worst dental experience of my life. I would not recommend this practice for major or complicated dental treatment. If you are considering going here, get a second opinion and ask for a detailed written treatment plan and complete cost breakdown before agreeing to anything.

Such a wonderful experience! Everyone was so professional, caring, and genuinely nice. I especially appreciate how the dentist took the time to explain everything directly to my 13-year-old daughter and made sure she understood everything before confirming the treatment with me as her parent. That meant so much to us!

The female dentist in full COVID gear gave me great anxiety, she was scurrying back and forth hurrying the front desk up, with great urgency.

My appointment wasn't with the female, she wanted to 'help' another dentist who may have listened to my situation and needs.

I had a wisdom tooth that was erupted from the gum and causing me pain. When calling to make an appointment they set me up for the day the oral surgeon, Dr. Durrant, would be in just in case the tooth was able to be removed that day. The ladies at the front desk to the dental assistance were all amazing! Xrays were done and then Dr. Pham came in to take a look. He agreed the tooth should come out and asked the oral surgeon or a consultation to see if it could be done that day. Dr. Durrant came in and said he could get me in that day. My original appointment (didn't have one for the tooth pulling) was at 11am and by 1pm ish I was out of the office with the wisdom tooth pulled. That may seem like a wait for some but remember I did not have an appointment with the oral surgeon so he of course had to take care of the patients that did first. Dr. Pham, Dr. Durrant, the dental assistants, and front desk impressed me. Everyone really listened to my concerns and explained everything step by step to make me feel more at ease. I'd like to add that Dr. Durrant was great for the removal. I have had all of my top teeth removed at once in 2023 and was still a little nervous of returning to a dentist office. He was so kind and quick, you can tell he knows what he's doing and is confident in his work. Highly recommend this location!

My front tooth got knocked out, and I was in a complete panic. Dr. Pham was able to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment first thing the next morning, right when the office opened. After doing x-rays and examining my teeth, he explained I needed a root canal and crown. I was freaking out but he walked me through every step so I knew exactly what to expect. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and the procedure was virtually painless. Within just a few hours, I walked out with a new tooth. Everyone here at Paradise dentist is super nice and helpful. They all were so informative and pleasant from the administration to the doctors and hygienists. Mrs. Laura was especially nice and helpful. She walked me through everything and answered all my questions, and Dr. Elizan was super informative and nice. This was by far the best dental experience I can remember!!

I am not to fond of dentists and avoid going to the dentist especially after my last experience where I ended up in the hospital. However, I could not put it off any longer and went to Paradise Smiles. Without knowing my history they had treated with respect and concern as soon as I walk in the door. After a brief history was given they sympathized with me and made me feel as though I can trust them. I am so thankful that I went to them and recommended them to anyone who may ask about a dentist.

100/10 recommend! I had a tooth ache and luckily paradise was open for emergencies on Saturdays! Very convenient since this office is about a block away from home. Dr. Pham was very knowledgeable and explained everything on my treatment plan, he also helped prioritize my treatment. Luckily, they were able to do same day treatment and financing was available! Luckily, i already had a SGF card so everything was super easily. Shelbie, Ingrid and zayda were super helpful in the front! Very educated when it comes to insurance and $$$. Definitely bringing my family in with them!

I had been going to Paradise Smiles for a number of years and was happy, thought i got good care at a good cost. Last time I went I had not been back for a time, and a very young, skinny, female doc looked in my mouth. She began taking measurements but was pushing in quite deeply with the instrument to the point where there was mild pain. Then she told me I needed a 1000.00 cleaning. Up until this point, I had always been told I had healthy teeth, so thank goodness I got a second AND A THIRD opinion! The second doc I went to looked in my mouth for a few minutes, and said to me, quote "these teeth are healthier than most of the people's here in the office." That one was a specialty dentist which only did invasive style treatments, so they said they wouldn't treat me there. Third dentist took the EXACT SAME MEASUREMENTS, but this time did not push in deeply as the first doc did. The numbers were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I had a few that were 4's (1-3 = healthy.) Instead they decided to do an extended length cleaning with no special precautions needed. TRUST IN YOUR DOCTOR is a huge thing. I'm so relieved that I got that second and third opinion because my gut feeling was validated. My teeth were healthy and my cleaning charge at the third dentist was only 100.00. Just BE CAREFUL here if they start telling you that you need invasive/expensive work.

Staff was welcoming, explained everything with regard to dental insurance or cash payment,. I felt very comfortable with Dr Elizan as I explained my anxieties, nervousness, etc. Hygienist Marilyn Butler-Dever was amazing. Ms Marilyn was very gentle with my deep root cleaning.

I had a ROOT CANAL done and Dr Long Nguyen is best so far that has performed a ROOT CANAL that I have experienced. I initially had a lot of anxiety but the procedure was so smooth and comfortable.

I had my final cap and Dr. Elizan again was very patient with me and made sure I was comfortable throughout as well as her assistant.

Thank you Paradise Smiles Dentistry, now I look forward to my next cleaning appointment this coming April 2024.

I have a teen with anxiety, and going to the dentist scares him to death. This office is amazing. SO kind. SO helpful. SO professional. The front office staff was so helpful both when I made the appointment, and when we arrived. She was also so patient and helpful with insurance, and appointments for further treatment. The Dentist, Dr. Elizan, was absolutely fabulous. Patient and understanding. Explained everything, and made sure my teen was comfortable and had answers to any and all questions. I can not say it enough. She was absolutely wonderful, and helped my child feel comfortable. I am so bad with names, and I wish I had the name of the hygienist. She was amazing also! Explained everything, had my teen joking and laughing in no time. She was honest, kind, and so helpful. The staff spoke to my teen, who was the patient, and allowed me to ask questions, and be present, my teen was the patient, and they treated him that way. My teen has not been taking proper care of his teeth, and they were not mean, or accusatory. I can not say enough good things about this office. If you've had previous experience with a dental office that wasn't great, I highly recommend giving Paradise Smiles a try.
The office is very easy to find. Parking is easy and abundant. They also offer a website that makes everything so easy. You can fill out the paperwork ahead of time online, and when you arrive everything is so quick and easy.
The dentist doesn't have to be a stressful experience. I never would have believed it!

I can't recommend this location enough. I accidentally went to the wrong location for an initial visit and the staff were more than helpful in guiding me to where I was supposed to be (Gentle Dental on Flamingo).
I went to my actual appointment; and for the first time walked out of a medical facility.
I returned to Paradise Smiles and was scheduled the same day for an initial exam. The staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Dr. E. greeted me before any interaction with back office staff and made my visit efficient and pleasant.
Great facility and great staff! Isaac, Zeyda, and Dr. E. where wonderful; Zeyda's other half at the front desk was just as wonderful. Thank you.

Another plus- it's right next to Sprouts. You can do some grocery shopping right after your visit!

P.S.
They do all of your follow up care/scheduling in the chair. No talking about what you need to come back for in the waiting room. I've never seen this before. Great practice of HIPAA.

Update: Got sent to the hospital for a wisdom tooth that was not treated due to negligence from the front desk staff.

As stated earlier, I called to come in for a wisdom tooth removal, I stated and I quote “May I come in to get my wisdom teeth removed today I’m immense pain? Front Desk representative: “Yes we are available, please come in” Went through the process only to get x rayed and told there are no available appointments. I wasted my time and passed out from severe pain.

I’m getting a lawyer involved.

I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time, but I had to go. I went to Paradise Smiles,and I wish I had gone sooner, the staff is fantastic and my dentist is Dr. Pham,whom I absolutely love,in fact I love everyone there. Everyone made me feel really good and eased my fears about dentistry. I would recommend this dental office to anyone else that has a fear of dental procedures. Dr Pham actually came out to the waiting area and introduced his self before my appointment, I have never seen that before definitely makes a good impression. I'm sorry I forgot the name of the x-ray technician but she was so patient and explained everything to me that was so understandable. I have to say that Marilyn is awesome my fellow Brooklynite :) she is just full of joy and she makes the appointment so much easier and fun. I been coming with my family here since 2017 but due to the pandemic we have not came since 2020. My kids and I have recently came back and Dr. Pham did such an amazing job with all my dental needs. He made me feel at ease especially with the work I needed. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure you feel no pain. My 13 year old daughter who has severe anxiety loves him. She felt so safe when he worked on her. She’s not very trusting and he made her feel so safe and comfortable. The dental assistant Daniel is so friendly and efficient. Thank you Dr. Pham and Daniel for your hard work and professionalism. Also, but thank you to the to the front desk staff especially the to the girl who was working today. I just got my teeth cleaned there today and had been probably 3 times previously. Last year the dental hygienist Steven cleaned my teeth thoroughly. I had no problem with him, he was polite and engaged in talk, he asked me questions, made sure I was comfortable, it was great. That is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1, but he no longer works there. Today this was the worst dental cleaning I have ever had. I found out after it was done that it was the dentist who cleaned my teeth- not a dental hygienist 🤦🏾‍♀️ I don’t understand why they would schedule someone to have their teeth cleaned by someone who’s specialty isn’t teeth cleaning. Apparently dentist aren’t even qualified to clean teeth! I think it was Dr. Pham who cleaned my teeth but I have no idea since he didn’t introduce himself. He seemed like he didn’t like his job much. The first red flag for me was how he didn’t measure my gums to check for gum disease using the gum probing tool. I knew something was off. The entire cleaning was not great. Usually I have to have my gums numb but it was so badly done that I had them cleaned this time without being numb. Then the male dental assistant who “flossed” my teeth after the dentist cleaned them didn’t introduce himself. I put floss in quotes because he literally did nothing. I have braces and was unable to get the wire removed before the appointment and he was clearly irritated by that. So he begrudgingly did a terrible job of running the floss through the top of my teeth only then asked if I needed water to spit and that was it. The former hygienist Steven literally made sure he flossed my teeth using the threaders. Afterward the male dental assistant left the room, then peeked around the corner to see me looking at my teeth using the phone on my camera. So I assumed my appointment was over. I walked into the hallway, he hands me a toothbrush pack and I follow him out to the receptionist area. That was it, no word was spoken from him, it was very weird. It’s a shame that this is happening here. I expected to be treated better, it was as if I owed them something instead of me going there for a service they provide. The receptionist seemed to be friendly though. But needless to say I won’t be returning for another appointment. My service is clearly not wanted there.
